  5. no fajin no taiji

Yeah but he is only a beginner yet Here is another more known clip of Chen Xiaowang with more pronounced fajing: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=zxxebP0u31g Here is Chen Zheng Lei's fajing: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=8KS_VZm4QWs Chen Yu demonstrating Xinjia Erlu, notice the fajing: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=7SSiRbTAn3A Also Chen Zhonghua's fajing is nice ! Not a member of the Chen family despite he's name but he's teacher was an indoor student of Chen Fake (a legendary 17 generation Chen Grandmaster): http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=y5Qcskv8cMQ Cheers !
  6. no fajin no taiji

Yes your taiji must be soft though both hardness and softness must be incorperated in the martial training of taiji. (In our school we dont diffrentiate between martial and health use of taiji, we do Chen wich is automatically the two) Chen laojia yilu is softness with hardness dwelling within. Once you/your body aquired hardness and strenght from daily training (iron wrapped in silk) and you can bring the form flexible, relaxed and efficient. You have power. edit: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=0FjGNCnozxs
  7. My fellow trees

Isnt aspirin, one of the most used drugs in the world made from a component originally found in birch trees ? not saying there is a direct link but it sure has healing potential ! In any case glad you got rid of your oncomming flu Hagar What i often do is sit with my back against a tree and imagine the tree is an extention of my spine, works pretty well. The roots have major connection with the yin from earth, the leaves have major connection with the yang from heavens. After a while energy flows natural, you will look up at the branches and leaves of your big wooden friend and be in awe. Such a small small human, such a big big tree Cheers !
  8. tummo fire

Try it out is my suggestion, it works 100%. I didnt use a heater in the winter for the last couple of years. Atm im living togheter with my girlfriend and she wants to put on the heater in the winter so i cleaned up the basement to have a place to practice. I can tell you that the described method on the website aswell as in the book occult tibet is rather short and incomplete but when practiced enough you should have some result allready. The meditation itself can take many months yust to learn the several stages. I think in total its about 11 or 12 stages each stage consists of diffrent technique and visualisations. If you wonna do it really well you can spend months on the first stage and then build up slowly. Good luck and happy winter
