Coping with major energy changes - How do I?
minkus replied to MASTERforge's topic in General Discussion
Focus on your belly alot (alot) .. this can get you more stable, legs can take something also. You seem sensitive to energy wich is a really good thing but if it gets a bit to much you can focus on grounding more maybe even consider take a small break from strong qigong or meditation practice you may do. You can also guide energy out of your body, try pushing it out your handpalms or heels. Eat enough but not to much sugar, drink enough water, never coffee. Take the shower instead of a bath and open the window in your livingroom even if its cold outside. Dont mix practices. It takes time to adjust, step by step dont let it rush up to you, always keep natural and stable. When Cameron from here on the forum had problems with to much energy he was adviced to run alot on the ground outside, jump or do gardenwork maybe football. (Also that he had to eat meat but you didnt hear that from me) Good luck in training masterforge ! -
Visualising the posture helps also in my case with accesing the energy spontanious. I imagine a black background and white skeleton/stickfigure in kunlun 1 posture (witouth a chair) wich you imagine 3dimensional so you can see it from all sides .. the focus is purely on the lines wich contain the root of the kunlun 1 posture Dunno this helped me so i thought lets write it down on TTB Also found out the image of certain deities have unconventional effects. Regards, Mike

If your refering to my pillar there's nothing illusionary about it, in contrary lol kinda hard to ignore once its there

I see a meridian as an energypathway small or big where diffrent energy's travel trough some more raw some more refined. The personal example i was giving in the kunlunexercise seemed like a pillar of energy in the torso started opening and closing down taking in and and giving out kl-energy. Yust got a glimpse on why the book is called pillars of bliss lol. Cheers

Thanx for the torough explenation of the variation you found, extremely intresting. The breathing is something i also experience, it feels to me the kl2 posture is slightly aimed at this principle ... the gentle retention helps to start breathing more and more "the energetic way" I like it alot, an inner spiritual breath wich takes over your own natural breathing, it goes deep yes. To the core of your being

the effects of psychedelics on the energy body?
minkus replied to Sunya's topic in General Discussion
Made an answering post but deleted it as its still a public forum. I can only say that yes great spiritual development is certainly possible but i would never advocate said practice. Very short: the risks do not outweight the benefits for 90% of people involved. Ive seen many people die before i came to this conclusion, owyeah and some that ended up with the mind of a banana. If anyone cares to try .. your boss of your own body but i warned you, vaguely but i did. Kind regards, M. -
I know what you mean with genuinly spontanius or not but what happens alot in my case is that i start willingly with nonspontanious movement like twisting from left to right (the back, to aid the up or downward spiralling) and afterwords the real spontanious movement takes over. You cant evaluate kunlun over 3 sessions, after some time the experience you have may change slightly over the sessions you do Sereneblue. The more you do kunlun the easier it is to recognize spontanious movement and the easier it is to get the feeling of the energy and its results back (logically). About the bliss, ive been in the blissstate before but i didnt see it as bliss or experienced it as bliss immediatly, later on i found out what was refered to as bliss but at the moment it occured i was busy with undergoing and letting go. At the moment bliss occured the first time it felt more like "a very enjoyable feeling because of the (rising) energy". Noticed especially when the neck tilted backwards so the energy could pass easier, hard to ignore. After several sessions and more "letting go" this state also changed to a more solid feeling of refreshing energy going diffrent directions. More grounded, more controlable. Nowadays the blissfeeling occurs more when i do the cooldown posture. Although i can understand most people will start to notice bliss as soon as they are "filled up" and abundant energy starts comming in. A feeling like aaaah relief comes in In my personal example a reason that the bliss-state is delayed can be that i use the incomming energy to cool down the rising energy to prevent the KL-energy stagnating in the head or even worse forcing open the crown to abruptly. I like to do kunlun slightly slower and more natural. Its never good to focus on obtaining bliss (letting go is what provides you the energy, not focus) the actual energy is the bliss and also wich provide you the bliss, if you didnt notice a blissfeeling before you will soon. The first time you do something and learn to meet a new energy it will have a big wow-factor, later times this can be less .. still if you prolong the KL-posture for a few minutes longer the energy wont stop building up. Possibly better if you can get yourself to let go even more (this is not that easy i found, yelling a few times: "i dont care about anything at this moment, what happens happens !!" helped with me, you have to mean it ffcourse). The currency of the energy will keep rising and rising as long as you can keep letting go. Beware sometimes you think you are letting go but unconsciously are stopping the rise of currency as your body has difficulty coping with it, dont go over your limit to quickly ffcourse, listen to your body and keep it natural. Also sometimes the moment itself the practice doesnt seem WOW but only afterwords when you really start to notice how much energy you have packed in your body lol. When the energy passes trough your centers and build up to high intensity/currency very strange events can occur. I prefer to stay vague as it depends from person to person, i dont wonna give info where you can focus on (like an experience that could possibly happen) but i also dont wonna give info that may scare people. Some occurances can be euh drastic or impressive. This all comming from short personal experience, im no kunlun teacher and certainly no expert. If you find an irregularity (and no not the spelling ) or a plain mistake in my post please say so that i can change it to prevent wrong information circulating around. Hope i could help, regards Mike.

Thank you Lin for making the light above the long road brighter so we can walk safer. Thank you SFjane for telling about your personal experiences regarding enlightenment, very enlightning and spot on, i think alot of people can recognize themselves in what you posted. I noticed 1 thing personally and that is that talking and reading to much about enlightenment gets a person further away of it lol :/ it gets confusing while enlightenment isnt confusing at all. The story of pointing with the finger at the moon while most people only look at the finger. On a sidenote i think some people on this forum are allready closer to enlightenment then they realise themselves, who knows what they all did this or previous lifetimes hehe. Kind regards PS: If you can describe enlightenment in 1 word (maybe 2) what would it be ?

"All of the individual living organisms - cells - that make up this earth originate from a common source and as they mature, over however long, they differentiate and take on an individual, specific role." -> I hope more people realize what you yust told here Kathryn.. there would be a lot less harm in the world. Thank you for your insights, very taoist

Was Nina Kulagina a Taoist without knowing it?
minkus replied to Gerard's topic in General Discussion
She had a very strong will and was convinced of herself. -
Im busy with that, still experimenting alot .. did notice allready those warnings of not mixing in with other practices arent made up for show so it takes time as everything has to go the safe way. As a sidenote not aimed to anyone in particular it all comes down to the same principles whatever every individual's view would be (earth is a small planet), pitty humans like to scribble about the details so much and sometimes forget about the main goal. Cheers guys, keep up the kun !

This well known movie also has to do with pyrokinesis .. the guy heats up animals in a zoo from a distance so they get more relaxed and become easier to work with. I found it fitting in the context. http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=SXsFndVCjMk Well this all has to do with heat, anyone have info on cryokinesis ?

Thank you for posting this, gonna read the rest of the article at home .. my taichi teacher told me i had to be carefull with extreme yin excercises (kunlun fe.) as there is a posibility they can cause somekind of spams. Since then im looking more info about unvoluntary movement .. not during but mainly after practice in everyday life. Thanx, really.

About the narcosis .. very strong substances are used to bring you under narcosis or keep your muscles tight for fascilitating the operation. An example is ketamine, originally a tranquilizer for animals but for humans a strong hallucinogen in smaller dose. I can understand why you feel strange shivers, spasms or changes in energy after narcosis. Others used often are adrenaline, atropine, fentanyl, etc.. wich can all have strange effects afterwords.

I didnt notice side-effects in the bowels from kunlun, no negative ones in any case. I do notice that when i have eaten not that long ago and do kunlun that the energy also heats up the places where there is still food stuck in the bowel .. i feel where the food is in my body as kunlun goes around it and heats up everything out of place (in this case partly undigested food but in other cases also "dirty" energy and places where there are problems like a small infection or bruise) . Maybe this heating (energy gushing trough rapidly and strongly) has somekind of dehydrating effect on the intestines. Its also noted not to drink water right before doing kunlun (also for the heating effect ?? .. the kahuna wariors tested there strenght by boiling a glass of water infront of there body like mentioned in the book .. maybe related to this ?) To be honest these are personal assumptions, for real information we can hope Mantra68 drops by again Kind regards. edit: the shaking legs are energy that is going trough your body so yes there is a possibility although the legs themselves dont have alot to do with the intestines i guess. the shaking feel to me like the kunluncurrent is to high to cope by the body at that moment, when you get used to it the shaking gets a bit less or even dissapears. I read here shaking left and right balances yin and yang in that order. Regards again, hope this helped a bit.

This can give you an idea: http://www.artoftao.net/chi.htm They have taken this explenation from a website called internalhealers as stated on the same page, pittyfully this website isnt online anymore. Regards EDIT: i found the archived pages, i yust linked allready .. checking em myself after theabreak http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.internalhealers.com more specific although the rest of the archive is certainly worth checking out: http://web.archive.org/web/20040804190946/...tal_qi_form.asp

I assume its a figure of speech and he actually means spiritual sister. For example a wise older male teacher will be refered to as (spiritual) grandfather. Cheers !
