Building muscles in a cultivation kind of way

Chen taijiquan builds dense muscles, makes iron cables of your tendons and ligaments and builds internal power originating from the dantien. What can a person ask more -

Yeh your right, probably i was interrupting something or asked him a question wich was to direct. And although he looked high from it, he's energy was real and very refined. Another reason to surely go meet him again. Yep Vajrahridaya, he's energybody looked like a pyramid turned upside down. When he can ground all that he gonna be quite powerfull. -

@ Therion: can i ask you wich system you practice ? Cheers On Buddah's birthday there was a feast here in the Chinese part of town. I went over because it seemed really fun. There was a market on a square, alot of cultural organisations and projects where promoting themselves. Also alot of stands with food and drinks, nice thus I was halfway the market and suddenly drawn to this very pure energy hanging around. Followed it around and in one of the stands a guy was sitting crossed legged in meditation. As i was looking at him he opend he's eyes and smiled. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was a zen monk and practicing zazen. I told em i had followed he's energy. He grinned with a big smile. I asked him how long he was practising zen and zazen. He was a westerner and responded he did this for 12 years daily now. I told him i was impressed and asked him some questions about zen. For some reason only minutes later he's mood changed and he started to get annoyed and very strictly told i shouldnt ask him questions but if i was really intrested i should come to he's dojo. I thanked him politely and went my way. I havent been to he's dojo to meet him. I will do so later probably. He seemed very very strict, i looked up there dojo and it entails some short ritual and afterwords zazen practice. He clearly had he's middle and mostly higher centers open but it seemed to influence he's behaviour rather strong. Reason i didnt went to see him yet is that the man, although with probably good attainment also looked unbalanced. -
Indian knowledge of plants goes so immensly deep, they make differentiations between plants and subgroups where we dont even know about they exist or even think there the same plant. The rainforrest is there pharmacy. They transmit the knowledge over generations. If we ever wonna reach that divine level of plantknowledge we have to go live with the plants again instead of from the plants. What do we do ? We cut tree's in South America so we can have nice chairs and fancy tables to put in our garden. We also grow cows there so we can eat MCmenu's (trademark). Together with the tree's we kill whole ecosystems. This is not the right direction to achieve plant knowledge.

Does anyone here practice Baguazhang?
minkus replied to innerspace_cadet's topic in General Discussion
About video or teacher ... Durkhrod is right on the spot here. You cannot gain the real internal power of bagua without a teacher. To many subtle details, to many neigong. If you practice from a video, you will practice it external, only the outer form. A video can help you remember or visualise certain parts of your form or exercises. It wont learn you the internal work wich provides the power bagua is renowed for. -
Does anyone here practice Baguazhang?
minkus replied to innerspace_cadet's topic in General Discussion
Baguazhang is a transformative, highly effective (as in powerfull) and nourishing internal art. It stands fearlessly next to its brother and sisterarts of taijiquan and xingyiquan. Its one of the most esoteric martial arts. Its a very deep daoist fighting system. If you can, find a teacher. You will grow quickly Good luck, enjoy walking the circle ! -

Funny things is you can change and strenghten the relationship between mind and body with moving and standing forms. Like chentaiji or pakua while adhering to the principles -
Haha yes but no dont even think about it A person has to be carefull here on ttb with all those jade dragons around

Damn freeform, thats a clear way of explaining. See how your body reacts to the book, a genius way of explaining .. that is what it is. Regards, Mike

You may feel akward at times but will get used to this. Energywork and the like isnt mainstream, your quite unique thus You can speak when needed or asked about .. and keep quit when not. You will meet people alike and when this happens it will be a nice suprise ! Never worry and be an example. Your enviroment will clearly see the benefit of spiritual practice. If you have time, write the brief. Its also possible to post it here on taobums if you like. Good advice is always appreciated. doYNBHE8Yes Regards !

Reminds me of a very cool game i played on the Expo in Hanover (Germany) in 2000. Both players sit infront of eachother with a thing on there head that registers eeg values. In the middle is a small ball, goal is to let it roll towards your opponent by being relaxed. I wanted to buy it but it was so damn expensive pitty ! http://www.mindball.se/product.html http://www.vivifeye.com/mindball/index.html Price: singleplayer game: 7,542 $ 2 player game: 18,859 $ -
Moving the chi from the cervical spine to the tongue
minkus replied to Encephalon's topic in General Discussion
It took me 5-6 years to get decent flow in the MCO and another 4-5 years of only working on the bottleneck at the cervical spine. So yeah i hear you Blasto. Its very very slow. The slow way is the safest and imho only way. You could force it but with the risk of overpowering your upper centers and getting dellusional, seeing pink elephants I wholeheartly agree. This happens automatically over time, you internalise it further. Inside of spine is possible and powerfull as its relatively close to the upward flow but can also be quit risky. Maybe he was aiming at the central channel ? Regards, M -
Ow yes, creating balance gets rewarded. Its like karma happy hour

Yep, the zapper ! Also saw a movie on youtube about an energyhealer that had to press a secret button on the floor to "activate" he's power Dodgy. Regards, M

Yep noticed it on he's website also, not to discredit him because i really like how he comes over to the public. He looks like a very compassionate person and i would love to meet him one day. There are also devices to be able to zap people but that doesnt instantly make Robert Peng or John Chang a fraud. It does mean people in general have to be carefull before drawing conclusions with anyone Cheers !
