  1. New Book -- Full Free Preview

COOL, thanks! I think most addictions are due to the users craving dopamine, right? And for some reason, perhaps their natural levels are too low or they lack dopamine receptors - which causes them to seek outside sources? So, how do you fix this and cure their addictions? As in, reduce their craving for dopamine or restore their natural production of it?
  2. But that is not your true nature! "Negative" emotions and urges stem from imbalances, deficiencies and unresolved issues. You must purge and clear those out first to find your true nature. At that state, you basically become totally empty and neutral.
  3. Kunlun and Demons

    Interesting, look anything like this?
  4. Could always try what Kan did - "embracing the tree" while in bed..
  5. tooth regeneration

Well, what I'm doing right now is using a small, pea-sized glob of regular fluoride toothpaste combined with a bit more calcium-containing Jason toothpaste. I'm not sure this will be my final strategy, but it's at least an interim step for now. Thing is, fluoride creates fluorapatite in your enamel, which is harder and more acid-resistant than hydroxyapatite, but also more brittle. So, it might help prevent cavities, but in the long run could lead to grooves forming along your gumline in your teeth where they experience stress concentrations from flexing there. Meanwhile, (calcium) hydroxyapatite {Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2} is more durable and less brittle, so may help protect against such chipping at stress points. So, I'm trying to strike a compromise between both by combining them together... And I'm also going to try some of these toothbrushes with tapered bristles that are supposed to clean out under your gums better.
  6. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

The most powerful qigong masters generally become healers, not martial artists. Because by the time you reach that level, you have no interest in fighting or pissing contests anymore. Instead, you prefer to do something constructive with your power (like healing or just focusing on your own spiritual self-development). Ultimately, it becomes all about YOU, not others and the outside "virtual reality." Put it this ways - if you can open meridians and heal the human body - "qi" punches become child's play... Of course, I've long had an interest in martial arts and would still love to see a "qi vs athletic technique" match. But unfortunately, the more qualified a qigong master is at winning such a match, the less likely they are to engage in one to prove it. And meanwhile, the converse may be true as well, lol. Also, currently most of the advanced qigong masters are in their 50s or older & typically un-Americanized Chinese (so may not follow Western sports broadcasts, if they don't even know English). This demographic simply generally has no personal interest in professional ringfighting. Most of them probably haven't even heard of Brock Lesnar or know what MMA is. And younger qigong masters are much rarer - because qigong got suppressed and went underground during the Cultural Revolution in China, younger people are more interested in pop culture anyways and also have less patience. And appreciable development takes thousands of hours, even for those who are interested. But maybe a new generation Western fighter trained in qigong with something to prove might come up one of these days and do it. Sort of like a Wim Hof of martial arts. Actually, I'll bet if Wim Hof knew martial arts, he could probably kick some ass with the amount of gong he's accumulated. Who knows?
  7. What a moron, someone needs to write that idiot an email. First off, Tiger is not a good Buddhist, if he's really even "Buddhist" at all. Why? Because the 3rd Buddhist precept specifically instructs against adultery: 3. I undertake the training rule to abstain from sexual misconduct. And even if Tiger WAS a Buddhist, why wasn't Buddhism ever credited with making him the world's best golfer? I never heard it brought up then? Only when Tiger gets caught fvcking up...does the "Buddhist" card all of a sudden get played in order to take his blame for him. Look fact is, Tiger has no one to blame BUT HIMSELF here.
  8. Chunyi Lin 1 hr Teleseminar Free

Can someone else here who has already downloaded the teleseminar...please upload it to MediaFire (or some other site with no limit)? THANKS!
  9. Chunyi Lin 1 hr Teleseminar Free

Those links are all overused now. Could you please re-UL it again...maybe to another less-limited site like MediaFire? Thanks!
  10. I think these purported findings need more detailed investigation. 1) Does marriage itself increase health, or do women just marry healthier men to begin with (correlation =/= causation)? 2) What specifically about marriage might increase health? Healthier diet, support mechanism, regular sex? 3) If regular sex might improve health, then might increasing sex alone (whether within marriage or not) improve health? This study appears to say so: 4) While sexual retention alone may not be healthy, might celibacy WITH cultivation be VERY healthy (even moreso than regular sex)? A survey of mainstream people is simply not going to capture rare individuals like this.
  11. decreased sensitivity

I agree. The training is far too rigorous, slow & tedious to do simply in the search for power. I think only a high spiritual motivation is enough to drive you through such "mind-numbing," extreme paces... So, you also have to be ready for this. I've tried meditation before numerous times in my life, and abandoned all previous attempts because my mind was too young, easily-distracted & I lacked the extreme desire for spiritual growth. When you're ready, you'll be able to do it. But if not, probably not...
  12. KAP

Happy Holidays too bro - to you & your fam! Wow, very very cool side effects of your kundalini awakening, man! I hope to attain that one day myself...so, working at it on the daily!
  13. Qi is NOT Energy

Cool info! Could you explain more about what those first few terms are, though? I know some of them, but others I'm not familiar with...
  14. decreased sensitivity

Open kua, strengthen lower back/kidneys... The T-stretch can help with this. Also, simply retaining will likely just cause sexual frustration. You also have to cultivate and prevent sexual thoughts from arising - otherwise your prenatal jing is still getting converted to postnatal jing (and seeking release). Note, this basic training is very slow and so don't expect any quick results. In fact, simply doing it for sexual reinvigoration alone is probably not going to be sufficient motivation or worth it. That would be like buying a car for the cupholder...
  15. Qi is NOT Energy

Very interesting...because of course, Max Christensen has had the exact same story recounted about himself. That confirms what another qigong master had said - that qi travels faster than the speed of light. To me this implies that qi is a "subtrate fabric" that originates "underneath" the space/time dimensions. Speed is a function of "moving" from one location to another in spacetime. But, if you exist "prior" to those dimensions, then you simply "instantly" (timelessly) exist "whereless" (and thus effectively everywhere/nowhere) all at once. The speed of light is actually the "phase change" constant between the dimensions (which is why it's a universal constant - just like the freezing point of water). So IOW, if you exceed the speed of light, then you have exited the spacetime dimensions into a dimension with no spacetime. Above that constant, there simply is no "time"...or "space."
  16. KAP

Slight derail here: Wow, didn't know that. That's very cool! Could you give any more details on this - did it happen gradually? How big an improvement was it? Was it after you had opened your kundalini or MCO? What specific practices were you doing and how long were you training daily at the time? I've heard of someone else curing their eyesight with Golden Bell qigong. So, I'm curious about what exactly energetically causes nearsightedness (clogged liver meridian?) and how to energetically cure it? Here's some other threads here on it: Eye sight Spiritual healing (Kunlun et.al.) regarding the eyes Improving eye sight Eyes Anyone have any actual luck with permanently improving their eyesight naturally? Blurry vision sucks - and so do glasses, contacts or LASIK! Boo!
  17. John Chang versus Mike Tyson?

LMFAO! Sh*t, that was good. Whew. You need to write more Taoist qigong comedy man!
  18. Spring forest for martial arts?

Interesting, so how & why does Mopai channel qi directly to the heart? What exactly are the benefits and risks of this? Also, where did mjjbecker & seandenty say that SFQ will get you further than Mopai?
  19. celibacy and body changes

Exactly, which is the problem with most modern humans. They are energetically top-heavy. People get stuck in their heads, which makes it very heavy and creates lots of stress in their shoulders and neck. And since they are energetically an inverted pyramid, they have nothing left down below to fill their kidneys (with lifeforce) and support their lower backs. Hence, the "slouch" posture has become quite common today - not to mention the growing market for Viagra! I believe one of the goals of qigong is to restore a right side-up energetic pyramid to your body by sinking your qi down out of your head. This refills your lower centers with vitality as well as releases all the stress of carrying a huge weight on your shoulders. I think it is ok to exercise the brain, but you should also be able to drain your brain when you don't need it.
  20. John Chang versus Mike Tyson?

I read a rumor about that on here...but it sounds too fanciful like an urban legend. Although if it's true...I'd sure love to hear more about it! Where was the encounter supposed to have happened? The Buster Douglas fight was in Tokyo on Feb 11, 1990...
  21. Cool, care to share more about him & his classes, please?
  22. Heaven & Earth Qigong

    Agreed. Welcome back, mang!!!
  23. celibacy and body changes

Exactly. I think morning wood is a fair, similar example - because it can happen without any sexual thoughts at all. And it has nothing to do with urination - otherwise we would all get boners throughout the day every time we needed to pee! ----- Another thing is that I don't believe prenatal jing is really "sexual" energy, per se. "Sexual" is such a loaded, constrictive label. When that energy is really just "lifeforce." Now, that lifeforce may have been passed down to us through our parents having sex. And it could be used to create and passed down to our kids through sex. Or...it could simply be diverted back to ourselves to reinvigorate and fuel our own spiritual growth. So, IMO - this jing is not really "sexual" to begin with - but that is just one route that it could take. Or not. I realize this is a semantic distinction...but I think it colors the way people view it. Point being that prenatal jing is not solely designated for sex & procreation. Yes, that is a very popular and primary usage...but not the only one. And until it gets used in that manner, it's not really "sexual" yet. ----- Anyhow, if you wanna read some real funny sh*t about...sh*tting & pissing hard...lol - read this (could be fake, but still funny as hell!).
