I'm no fan of the Japanese aggression, but I'm not sure anything really justifies the usage of nuclear warfare on civilian (or any) targets due to all the indiscriminate longterm health effects of radioactive fallout. I mean, why didn't they drop them on the Germans, then? I just don't think any side really wants to open Pandora's Box of unconventional warfare...

Chi in Nature Saving You from Swine Flu with Taoism FU (Talisman)**MOD.

Thanks, Mak! Very informative! Has anyone else on your forum tried the myopia FU? I'd like to read more about it. BTW, do Americans need a visa to enter Canada these days? -

Interesting. I need a myopia FU, amongst others. I also know people who need herpes/shingles FUs. And other germs. If these really work? -

I think this question has been posed before, but how do: Yin & Yang + & - mathematically + & - electric charges N & S magnetic poles Correlate? And can someone provide a good explanation of exactly how they all do? -
Who would be willing to move to south dakota united states for a commune?
gendao replied to mewtwo's topic in General Discussion
Agreed. Most spiritual hippies are attracted to communes in part because they are low-cost and they are ass-broke. But who knows, I've never even been to a commune... -
Max did claim that it cured HIV for one guy.And also made one teacher's blood flow backwards for a while. So healthwise, it can certainly cause a lot of strange effects. In general, alchemical ascension seems to lead to a lot of heavy detoxing and turmoil in the "short" run. This is also seen with "kundalini syndrome." So, if anything, one might expect some health challenges & possible crises arising...rather than instant glowing health. Stairway to Heaven? Try rollercoaster...

Interesting, how does this machine work and what are the sessions like? And can you buy this machine? Or do you have to find one in your area? Is there also some way you could simulate the training on your own without a machine?

That may possibly be true... However, when I had a temporary instant healing, I don't think my eyeball length shortened, yet I was somehow able to see perfectly clearly. Which is what really blew my mind! Anyhow, there's already a thread on this here.

Spiritual healing (Kunlun et.al.) regarding the eyes
gendao replied to Owledge's topic in General Discussion
I've heard of 2 people who had their vision totally corrected (1 only momentarily, the other permanently) from this type of qigong: Jingui (Golden Shield) Qigong Supreme Science Qigong also claims to be able to heal vision problems: And they actually hold very cheap stadium-size 4 day workshops for only $99! I know someone who went to one of these and really enjoyed it. Has anyone else tried either of these qigongs? -
Well, this is interesting:

Everything we are looking at on our screens right now is ultimately a product of and can be reduced to merely 1s & 0s... I think Taoism is basically saying the same thing about the binary (dual) nature of Maya. I suppose at a higher level, instead of seeing the gross phenomena, one might be able to see the "binary coding" instead. And past that, the void.

Drew Hempel here tried it for his mouth, but preferred raw garlic cloves instead... 82% of people in a poll here believed they had experienced some health benefits while using MMS. But other feedback appears more mixed. Many experience some reactions, but it often seems unclear if it's really Herxing or just worsening. So, I think the jury is still out on it. I'm always more cautious about stuff when the feedback is so mixed. But at the very least, I think it's always a cheap way to sterilize your water. You could basically add a few drops to a lot of water and let it sit until all the ClO2 reduces out. Then, you could drink it without worrying about the internal effects of ClO2, if you're unsure about that...

Actually, I disagree. And I will make a larger point about relaxation, balance and alignment here. A lot of Taoist arts teach you to "relax" or be "loose" (song). Problem with this is that physical relaxation is really a SYMPTOM, not the CAUSE. The real CAUSE is balance and alignment with the path of least resistance... So, the formula is backwards. Imagine your vertebrae & bones as a Jenga tower. Now, the more balanced it is, the more self-supporting and taller you can build it. But when it is unbalanced, then you would need external support to carry the load - or it will fall. In the human body, this equates to more of the load shifting from your bones in compression to your muscles in tension. A tense muscle is not a song muscle. Also, muscles are weaker in tension than bones are in compression - which reduces your overall strength. Now, if you are free-standing, then slouching may seem to be more relaxed at first, but your MT will tell you otherwise when they start unknotting your stiffened shoulders later. This is because your "external" support here became your muscles. Which is why in Taijiquan, you don't slouch, but stack your vertebrae up on top of each other. Your muscles are used mostly to stabilize and balance your bones, not carry their load for them. Now, if you are reclining in a chair or lying down, then yes, allowing the chair or ground to externally support your weight is actually even more relaxed. Because now you've taken the load off both your bones AND muscles. So, the bottomline here is that Taoist arts should teach students to physically seek BALANCE & ALIGNMENT with the path of least resistance first...and then "song" will follow naturally as a side effect. But if you do that vice-versa, you can try being "song" for 20 years, yet never find proper balance or alignment - and true relaxation. Unfortunately, the traditional teaching method is typically backwards and so a lot of time and effort gets wasted with mimicking results instead of utilizing the underlying principles...

IMO, what helps is integrating the mind and body as one. Typically, when someone is always stuck in their head, they hunch forward and carry a lot of tension in their shoulders. This is because all their energy is stuck up in their head and it thus becomes very heavy. Which causes their head to droop forward and shoulders to strain from supporting all that weight like a wrecking ball. Well, when Dionne "cut my head off," it felt like this trapdoor at my "jade pillow" or "tian zhu" (BL 10) opened and allowed energy to flush through. My head felt more weightless then, or not even there like I was headless. So, I think the more open your flow through there, the less likely energy or thoughts will get trapped and stagnate in your headspace.

Not sure if this might help for women, but it may have had an effect on me? I was taking these supplements to clean out my arteries, but recently noticed a possible side effect of more boners (possibly due to cleaner arteries down there?). Nattokinase is from natto. Serratiapeptase is from enterobacteria in silkworms. Well, these 2 powerful natural enzymes are fibrinolytic. Which means they dissolve fibrin - found in blood clots, scar and protective inflammatory tissue that also ends up stiffening and clogging up our circulatory system. Thus, reducing blood flow. Which would obviously also reduce sexual function (at least for men). Anyhow, I think that clogged pipes are a primary contributing factor to SO MANY diseases, and so cleaning them out has a multiplied effect on our overall health! And these 2 enzymes appear to be a great way to help do that...whether they indirectly increase sexual function or not? (Only time I would stop taking them though is if you are healing from a wound and NEED to allow your blood to clot, first.)

It's weird, just yesterday I was "Thetahealing" my computer clean of viruses & malware, and "prying" these infections out. Then I went upline to the internet, and "saw" it just spewing loads of thick, black gunk out like crude oil. The whole thing was like a giant sewage pool! I did a cleansing of the Internet and sent all that up to God's Light. Although, it's probably only a temporary measure... But it made me realize that the internet could possibly be used to disseminate negative energy to the populace - and in effect create a toxic circle jerk and feedback loops in the same dirty bathwater. So, we should really put "spiritual" firewalls on our computers and work on purifying its contents, if it can indeed serve as such an energetic conduit right into our homes & minds!
-
Not that philosophical at all... Actually, my healer friend says that if she can't heal something in 3 tries (usually it only takes 1, as she is very powerful), she believes it is karmic in nature and stops trying. You just can't fight someone else's battles for them, or at least shouldn't really try to.

Lol, sound-off...3, 4! And a thought I might add is that not only are those in alchemical programs getting a lotta sh*t stirred up right now, but I know of many who are NOT in any type of spiritual path who are also suffering from many health ailments recently. So, it may be that in addition to everything else, there could also be a huge, fiery wave of purging, detoxing, karmic quickening, crap, negative energy, however you wanna interpret it...that is swelling up and sweeping the planet right now. I am also coming to agree that the way to deal with blocks is not to resist the forceful reactions caused when energy hits them, but to relax and allow the energy to bore through them. And to proactively work through these issues to help clear them, as they CAN also get out of hand if not. Ascension may be like giving birth - a powerful natural process, but also with the potential for mishap. Not to mention also a combination of autonomic and conscious facilitative effort.

Ching Fung Dao Shr = Qing Feng Daoshi (pinyin) =清風道士 (simp) 清风道士 (trad) Has anyone independently found anything on this supposed legend? I'm guessing from the Maoshan sect? And it sounds like you had some firsthand experience with "Willow" back in ABQ? So after all this time, what's your personal opinion now? Also, if you suspect that you might have been "inducted" into some "cursed Forced Ghost" lineage back then by lightning...have you felt "cursed" since then?

Well, there are many "no frills" austere, ascetic practices like Zen contemplation and such...that focus on "starving your ego" to delocalize your awareness. But, these seem to attract less interest than "flashier" methods. So, if "power" methods seem more popular, it is through natural selection by popular choice.

And yet isn't that the basic premise of Kan & Li alchemy? Uniting Heavenly Yang with Earthly Yin? Yet in one case it's a primordial fusion, but the other a traffic jam? Not that I suggest doing it...just questioning the logic here?

Wow, I really liked Ken's interview. Not only is he very knowledgable and made some very insightful points, but he's also very respectful. I really liked his point about how breathing is such a cross-cultural spiritual practice...for one reason because it drops all the NLP'd baggage and assumptions of language. In a way, it is speaking/listening the primordial language. That's simple...but deep. It's a basic question I was just asking myself last night. Why meditation? Why stillness? I think the point of many of the practices is to unlearn all the accumulated illusion, help transport us back to square one and start us back from scratch again.

Good points, you 2. I was just raising some more possibilities here, not claiming to have any definitive answers, btw. And I still don't. In fact, I think realizing I don't know anything for a fact, is admitting that all this could be an "illusion." Which may be a step towards seeing through it (if it is one). Anyhow, I would seem to agree that the "reptilian" aspect specifically...seems to be brought in by Max somehow. But, we've had discussion about that too...and it's not clearcut "good" or "bad," either. I mean, if Buddha hung out with them...who's to say? OTOH, if they enjoy looshing humans like Capri Suns and covertly taking over our world...lol. Are they friends and/or foes? Again, I just don't know anymore!
