Muchos gracias, Camz! Some great, useful clarification there... I'm still busy digesting what Max gave me, but Jenny sounds like she could be helpful once you attain GDB like Kan... But I also wonder what the exact Chinese character for "Yi" in Yi Gong is, though? That could help clarify things further... And, how does nonduality relate to "enlightenment" or wu wei? (Sorry, I know you said no more questions, but...still can't help but wonder, lol.)
-
Interesting, so have you taken Jenny's workshop and found out what this higher level "missing" part is? And what would it lead to that Max hasn't got? If not, I wonder if Cameron did when he went? And what's her goal with Spontaneous Adjustment Qigong (Zi Dong Tiao Zheng Gong 自動調整功) vs Max's (Gold Dragon Body?)? PS - Enjoyed your book so far, Ya Mu - and thanks for posting here!

"Raw" or "unrefined" are all relative and subjective - and therefore not good quantitative measures here. The real hallmark for how closely aligned you are with the Way is your efficiency. When you are doing things the right Way, you maximize your results/effort ratio for "effortless power." That is why at the highest levels it is called wu wei - the action of non-action. A concrete example of this would be (authentic) IMA, where subtle force is employed over crude, brute force... However, you don't attain the Way simply by being effortless or via non-action. That's putting the cart before the horse. Rather, ONLY once you HAVE properly attained the Way...can you achieve "effortless" results and "action through non-action." HUGE, CRITICAL distinction there that most people get AZZ BACKWARDZ. This is why most IMAr's can't fight their way out of a wet paper sack - because they foolishly believe that simply "relaxing" and being effortlessly "soft" will give them power. When they have confused the symptoms with the root cause here - and what they should be doing is figuring out that real root cause first. Then, once they have attained the right Way there, all the rest will follow as mere side effects/byproducts... But not vice-versa. IOW: Right way => effortlessness Effortlessness =/=> right way

Does Kunlun help solving or bearing/ignoring mundane problems?

Sounds interesting...and similar to the Matrix Energetics technique of "casting the pebble" (forming your intent, releasing it and then just letting it go without mentally clinging to it so your mind gets out of its way). -
Does Kunlun help solving or bearing/ignoring mundane problems?
gendao replied to Owledge's topic in General Discussion
^^ Well, it's not really that simple. I think you've found a reaction, but not your root cause... Look, I have no doubt this cat rips multiple people off...but why did YOU have to be one of them? And not others? It's because we all DRAW all our experiences in life, for various reasons. It's the LOA in action, etc. For example, I used to have a real problem with "the system" and it screwing the world up. 2 years ago, I had a string of incidents where it screwed me over, and the last time I really wanted to pull my hair out! So, I finally Theta'd myself until I came to the resolution that there's good and bad to all systems, and unless I could do better on my own, then I would have to accept both. Now, since I came to terms with that, the system hasn't specifically screwed me over anymore and I'm far more at peace with it. Since I am no longer so fixated on the system screwing me over - I don't manifest or choose that experience anymore. Don't get me wrong, I'm still anti-Big Bro and the system does still definitely screw things up still, but I'm not as polarized about it and it doesn't torque me up so much anymore. I in fact have a more balanced and realistic viewpoint of it now. So, I'm not saying it's your "fault," just probably something within your persona that manifested that experience. Let's face it, there's tons of con men out there. You don't really have a say in that - how they conduct themselves. But you do have a say in whether or not you want to be part of that experience. Thus, recognizing the part YOU play in this "play" is really to empower you to choose your life experiences then, not put blame on yourself. Now, often the outer is a mirror for our inner. It may be then that deep down, you have trouble trusting yourself and feel like if you do - you will screw yourself over. Just one possibility, to give you an example... -

I think KL is a great tool for ascension, but not a magic bullet to fix your entire life (at least, it hasn't been for me). To me that attitude seems ungrounded and unrealistic...so I use a variety of other tools to deal with various life problems of mine. As far as your legal case, I'd personally use some intuitive psychology (like Thetahealing) to uncover the root of the problem within yourself. More than likely, issues like these arise as lessons or tests - manifest opportunities to overcome unresolved issues within us. Particularly, if they repeat themselves as patterns in your life. This doesn't mean you can necessarily get out of this one scott free. But, if you do resolve any underlying internal issue here drawing these experiences to you, then you will finally get it over with and hopefully end the cycle. If not, you may keep experiencing the same issue repeating itself in different forms at increasing "volumes" until you do... -
Here's an herbal heartburn complex. The key ingredients are: Betaine Hydrochloride - Helps boost your levels of hydrochloric stomach acid to quickly break down and digest foods. This prevents foods from sitting in your stomach and triggering heartburn and acid reflux. L-Glutamic Acid - Helps maintain proper pH balance in your stomach as well as entire digestive tract. It's also a critical amino acid that helps metabolize proteins, sugars and fats. Non-animal Enzyme Blend Containing Amylases, Proteases and Lipases - Amylase helps break down carbohydrates. Protease helps break down proteins and Lipase helps break down fats. Together, these enzymes help keep your digestion system working at optimum speed and capacity. This reduces your chances of developing heartburn, acid indigestion and embarrassing gas! Gentian Root - Nourishes and strengthens the entire digestive system. Rich in B-complex nutrients, this European herb acts on taste bud receptors to help stimulate secretion of saliva in the mouth and hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Also helps soothe stomach aches. No idea if it works or not, though...

Well, that's why usury was a Biblical sin. Anyhow, the US kept getting worse and worse with more and more deficit spending and increased fractional banking. Now I think Hal is jumping the gun on this report, but reality is, the US has borrowed a shytload from China and if they ever want to collect...well it would only be fair business to repo property in lieu of no funds. The US dug itself into a VERYYYY deep hole financially and we have no one to blame but ourselves here. The illusion can't last forever...unfortunately I think the next generation will REALLY suffer from all "our" collectively poor decisions - particularly since the 60s.

Smile - true. But it's still exhausting...so I'm taking a break now before forming my summary conclusions. Whew!

I know 2 people who are quite financially successful healers. Since their modality isn't supported by mainstream medicine or covered by insurance - their success and credibility boils down to their skill and actual results. And they are both VERY good. As an MD, you don't really have to personally establish your cred, since your degree already does that for you. So once you step outside that box, it's all on you then. You will thrive or die by your street cred. I'd love to get into healing myself. The closest TCM school was VERY expensive though, since they have small enrollments. Also, I'm not sure how much qigong they really teach. So, hopefully when my skills develop to where I can consistently get really impressive results on others, I might be able to naturally transition into it...

Sure, I think it's hard to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt scientifically. However, I and others have found circumstantial evidence (which is admissible in court) that does make it at least probable. Namely, I've regressed and independently verified past events with mutiple soulmates, channeled a past life for a friend that matched what she had been told previously from others and knew someone who noted details from a regression that she later confirmed in real life at an old schoolhouse...etc. Now, none of this is hard "proof," but it's certainly made reincarnation believable to me.

I think wealth is fine as a means to an end. But when it becomes an end in itself, the you've lost sight of your real goals. Also, I don't think wealth itself is the problem. But moreso all the time and energy you may be spending in order to attain it - possibly at the expense of other things. And I think fear of poverty and moral revulsion at wealth are both unhealthy attitudes towards it. For me, I have a fear of poverty stemming from childhood, having grown up with basically none and having my options in life severely limited due to it. I could never get what I wanted, because I had no money. I suffered a low social status and also couldn't freely explore all my budding interests. That really sux, and I don't want to go back to that situation. OTOH, at this point, I am lacking time more than money to do what I really want. Time & energy has now become my restrictive bottleneck - not money. So, perhaps I've kinda passed the midpoint and am actually on the other side of the fence, now. I guess one of the keys to success in life is to identify your CURRENT BOTTLENECK, and work on opening that.

Why do you guys doubt reincarnation? It seems past lives come up pretty frequently in any type of spiritual therapies?

FVCK, I just had an A-HA! moment, after reading a similar concept on p143 of Ya Mu's book, and harkening back to this old post of yours... This concept is actually embedded in all the primary forms of Eastern meditation. From the classic lotus pose with eyes half-shut and looking downward (at hands folded in front of stomach) - to the classic zhan zhuang standing qigong. ...I always wondered exactly what the ^&%@ that posture was really doing??? And I don't think they're actually doing it there...but anyone could be - basically doing the same thing of looking at your hands and using them as reflectors to bounce energy back into yourself. This may also be why Taijiquan always has you look at your hands. Point being to always look at part of yourself so your energy gets cycled back in. But this pose would also be particularly good at working out your pineal/auric/peripheral vision when you look at your hands held apart stereoscopically. My teacher did similar types of stereoscopic meditation for enlightenment... Now, you combine all this stuff together and BAM, you have a really powerful meditation! (Of course, this all is never actually explained...that would make progress too easy. ) One minor question - I guess you are saying that yin energy comes from the stomach because the lower half of the body is yin? But, the stomach meridian itself is traditionally designated as yang. Or are all these definitions simply relative?
-
I agree. It's just like the stock market - you have fractal trends at every resolution. So, just cuz it spikes up a little one day, doesn't mean it still hasn't gone down overall during the whole week. And if you zoom out to the last few decades, global heat has risen, thus causing continued melting of our ice cap heat sinks and rising sea levels. t7T7beACtQs I really don't care how much of this is natural vs human-influenced. Point is, it's gettin' hot in hurrr!

What practical things can we do to facilitate interfaith harmony?
gendao replied to Stigweard's topic in General Discussion
Too simple. I was wondering more like: Would Buddha try to enlighten Jesus and free him from reincarnation? Would Jesus try to save Buddha and promise him eternal life in Heaven? Would Mohammed tell Jesus that he's just a delusional prophet? Would Laozi show Mohammed how to really become immortal on his own, without Jesus? Or would they basically agree that they were all really on the same page? -

Yea, still goes back to humans... Humans cultivated more land to produce more food for themselves. Let's not put the cart before the horse here. Fact is, the human population going exponential in the last few decades is the biggest silent event in our history. Imagine, just 50 years ago in 1960, the world population was only 3 billion! And now it is nearly 3X that! Now, do the math and figure out how much extra energy consumption, habitat loss and waste this alone has generated...and then tell me population growth has little to do with environmental damage. When it has EVERYTHING to do with it! Anyhow, back on topic - imagine Buddha, Fu Xi, Laozi, Jesus, Mohammed, etc all sat down together at a bar... What would they say to each other? What would they agree or disagree on? -

True, the highest birth rates are all in (non-Catholicized) Africa. So, there's obviously other factors too... But that doesn't change the fact that a religious ideology can still be one of them. I mean, look at the Mormons. They were traditionally encouraged to have large families - and still have 1 more than the US average today. So, there is a direct influence here between religious doctrine, lifestyle and environmental impact. -
So, how do we make sure we are using cosmic energy and not our own reserves? Or is that basically inevitable, so we simply must cultivate regularly to replenish it? I guess my real question here is if we are qi batteries or conduits - and if qigong therefore is to recharge our batteries or to clear our conduits so we can draw more power from the universe? Or perhaps some combination of both? Like, what do you think about the textbook 100 days of cultivation to build up a foundation theory? Is this to build up a critical mass of energy to pass some tipping point? And does this imply the battery theory, at least until we can perhaps activate our conduit function better? And just got your book, btw. Randomly skimmed the part about how that evil spirit had tricked you...

Not really. In the environmental community, human population growth has now been unavoidably identified as a root cause to environmental destruction. And Hispanics are the fastest-growing group of all Americans - due to the highest birth rates now: Now, 68% of Hispanics are Catholic, and 1/3 of US Catholics are Hispanic. So, you can say there's a link between Catholicism and higher birth rates - and thus environmental damage. Therefore, I don't think it's a stretch to say that Catholicism ultimately has an environmental impact due to its traditional self-propagating stance against BC and for large families. -
Big Brother Health Care Provisions Slipped Into Economic Stimulus Bill

If you are against this Big Bro health bill, please sign this petition (you can keep your info anonymous too, if you want). And pass it on! -
This is not the cheapest, but sounds interesting: From a TCM perspective, I'm guessing that the kidneys may need restoration and recharging for a lot of these "burnt out" problems... WudangAlienAlchemist - where do you get shilajit? And is it safe to use continuously, or does it deplete you?

Lmao, yea I remember that! I was sitting right next to you when you opened. Looked like you were sitting on top of an industrial-strength washing machine!!! Good times, man! Personally though, I WISH my small death experience would have been filmed, so I could watch it later myself from the outside. Things like that don't happen everyday, so they're Kodak moments to me. I guess everyone's different. Like how a lot of girls do porn or put their birthing videos on YouTube now, lol. Anyhow, I will be posting more vids up, not of Kunlun, but just different body movements and such.

From this video, Eye of the Phoenix: Secrets of the Dollar Bill, Nicholas Roerich was an esoteric secret society artist who helped design our dollar bill. He had some interesting paintings: Apparently, he was quite into Eastern mysticism...

Also just wanted to link in this thread on gum disease in here - and its effect on overall, systemic health. All of this underscores the immense importance of dental health, which is why I'm taking a good hard look at it now to choose my weaponry and strategy in this battle. Whew, this is exhausting...like writing a term paper!
