Apples & oranges. Zapping is simply 1-way energy transfer, and so does not require "consent" to work. This would be comparable to Chris projecting energy to his gf behind her back. More intense if he's zapping, but same category. Whereas these empty force demos, IMO, are more like 2-way dances - so do require some consent for consensual movement. It's the same as kriyas - you have to allow them to happen, and can always stop them at any time. The "need" for cooperative consent doesn't mean they "don't work," though. That's like saying hypnosis doesn't work because it can be resisted. But fact is, all these can work if you let them. Wow, so she saw Max dematerialize? Did he show her his GDB?

Doesn't surprise me. I was on his mailing list and he recently sent out a mass email detailing a huge drama with his Polish gf's dad tragically committing suicide over them. Of course, the whole point of his email was not any real empathy, but to absolve himself of any blame whatsoever (but was he really trying to convince his readers or himself that?)... Well, I sent them a philosophical semi-condolence email back...and they quickly responded with a very rude, snappy reply! At that point I realized that this dude is really a phony, self-deluded egomaniac who misuses New Age spirituality to conveniently rationalize everything he does to himself and others. Not that that really surprised me, either... But if your gf's dad's suicide can't pull you out of spiritual denial, I don't know what can??? Oh, I think his attitude and life says much differently...

My impression of the Kunlun Seminar tonight

Very interesting...as I've been doing a lottt of spontaneous body-coiling movements lately... -
Aren't all vows attachment and clinging by definition? Just because you cling to poverty instead of wealth doesn't change the fact that you're still clinging. Remember, Buddha had to let go of his attachment to asceticism (and in reality, polar duality), before he achieved Enlightenment. He realized that neither poverty or wealth had anything to do with full realization. I think people often tend to confuse letting go of the attachment of wealth with creating another attachment to poverty. Besides, does anyone ever really need to take a vow for poverty? As if you have to make a dedicated effort to stop all that money from just rolling in your door...how many people really have that "problem," lol. Anyhow, that's just my own opinion and experience. Everyone else should judge for themselves based on theirs.

Nope - it only says that "Retaking the vows for the first time in this life strengthens the momentum." But, the momentum still lasts on its own, to begin with... And that's been my experience. For example, if you take a vow of poverty, in your next lives you may find it hard to make money. If you take a vow of celibacy, you may find blocks in your sexual chakra. Etc, etc. I believe strong intentions are just like strong emotions over unresolved issues - they create "karmic baggage" that you tend to carry on with you. So in my experience, I'd be careful of what you vow. And it's not so much that you'd get "bad karma" if you break them, but they could form hidden hindrances and blocks to you in your next lives - and you'll be lucky if you ever uncover why then. Of course, I have also heard that taking refuge in Buddha with vows can also accelerate your cultivation, so there may be a trade-off here. BUT, maybe you could add some "fine print" to your vow that they expire after this lifetime, lol.

Mak_Tin_Si - Question: If I placed some miniature Terra Cotta soldiers in my garden as "guardians," similar to stone lions...would that be good fengshui since they are like guardians, or bad fengshui since they are funerary objects?

Cool, what book is that from? And what are the 4 visions? I took some in past lives...that became hidden blocks in this one. So, I think I'm through with *^#&'n vows! I'd rather just stay fluid with the Tao than set up hard, blind parameters in advance for myself. However, I think for those with the commitment and discipline to take Bodhisattva vows, it can also certainly benefit their own cultivation and others...

Honeybees are found to interact with Quantum fields?
gendao replied to mwight's topic in General Discussion
Very interesting, because this other lady has claimed that bees have been disappearing because they have been fighting Reptilians on the astral...which still sounds far-fetched, but maybe bees could be some interdimensional borderline species? -
Anyone see the Pacquiao Vs De La Hoya fight? I think boxing's an interesting sport to study punching tehniques and body mechanics... If you watch the fight, I think Manny was much lighter on his feet with better body unity & rhythm. Oscar seemed stiff-legged, disjointed and did a lot more simple arm-punching, than full-body hitting. I think Oscar was also over-canted stancewise to over-favor his left jab, but when he couldn't fire those off at such a moving target like Manny, his right cross was too far back to use, either. Leaving him basically weaponless.. Also, I could just tell by their pre-fight photos that Oscar looked tired, worried and resigned, while Pacquiao looked confidently like a pitbull ready to go for the kill...

I actually had a past life flashback where I saw Max as a child monk/Tulku. This was last year before I knew what a "Tulku" was... I don't claim this to be any definitive "proof," but just thought I'd throw it out there...

I can definitely attest to this. Santi is not some cold, anal businessman - he is a genuinely cool guy who really cares about his students as people. Recently, I was going through some significant detoxing, and he really helped give me some intuition, guidance and healing. And for that I am most grateful!!! I think we should all respect his generosity and be careful not to abuse it, but the point is he is not stingy and really makes an effort to help his students out. He's just a good guy. Not to mention he's definitely got gong fu and knows his stuff! Yea, I agree. I wish there was some bloody cupping in my area, cuz I also find it super-fascinating too! Well, I'll def get a treatment from you if we meet again somewhere!

I believe (I could be wrong) that Max was (or is?) married, has a girlfriend and has kids. Not sure if he typically just has "normal" sex or uses any special techniques to enhance his cultivation or not slow it, though.

Very cool! - sounds like Kunlun's Gold Dragon Body. But, do you know anyone who has actually achieved this? And what exactly do you mean by the seed is in the NOW?
-
Great translation, orb! Thanks! Hmm, "gold dragon"...wonder if there's any remote relation to Kunlun here? So, is "jinn" magik safe...or is that something you really want to avoid?

I'm guessing someone off-camera is shining a laser on it. That's why the burn starts in such a perfect little circle, and his hand conveniently never blocks a nice line-of-sight from someone sitting in front of him (possibly holding a laser). This video is prolly more legit because you have a live person feeling the heat. Anyone have any idea what their method is?

Exactly. I have heard at least 3 reports of qinggong abilities ranging from being able to leap up to a 2nd-story to over a gymnasium from reliable sources. Most of them being qigong or Taijiquan masters/"accomplished players" in their 60s or so - and often referring to their own fathers. So, generally from 1-3 generations ago. However, I have yet to see this in person or actually captured on film even ONCE yet.

I like that. The other day I had the thought to meditate with the universe/God.

What happened? Scotty got a knot and is not doing Kunlun now? Sorry, that kinda rhymed and I had to say it.. Anyhow, I agree that there's always the question of if your body is really detoxing or has simply worsened? There is a lot of mystery to life and our bodies... However, Bill Bodri does say that detoxing is a normal and necessary step on the path: Also, Wang Liping did a purification technique where his skin got really dark as he expelled toxins...before becoming very clean afterwards. That said, it's crucial to know the exact cause of your problem. And even if detoxing is part of it, you still want to do what you can to fully support that process - otherwise your body could still get overloaded and real problems arise from that. BTW, this part of that guy's story concerned me, and I wonder if it may have been the real problem: It really makes me wonder about a hi-level qigong guy stooping to such low ethical levels...WTF? Cursing people? I think that's a major no-no in most any tradition. Anyhow, sound familiar? He curses others with bad luck...and then he ended up getting lots of bad luck himself? So, perhaps his real problem here was fair KARMA, not QIGONG?
-
Interesting story...funny cuz I was evangelized to in the street just a few days ago. And hey, I'm still open to Jesus and all that, but there's just so much varied dogma about him I frankly don't even know what to believe anymore... Anyhow, I think it's hard to generalize off just a few anecdotes. Especially when there seems to be many longterm qigong practitioners who I don't believe have had similar problems, and also some Christians/Muslims who have had bad luck & "shitty" lives as well. Point is, there's a lotta different variables and results here and so quite a stretch to assume and reduce it to "qigong = Satanic evil." I mean, I bow to God and connect to the Source. So, they're certainly not opposing camps in my practice... I'm not saying their theories can't be true, but it seems I would have heard many more stories like that if it were true, though?

Thanks. So, where do we get this sodium iodide, then? Linky please?

Well, a parasite in the brain stem lends more credence to Hulda Clark's theories that parasites/flukes are actually responsible for (or contribute to) many of our serious diseases - including cancer. And that these suckers can end up in or migrate out of our GI tracts to various organs, where they can then cause serious problems. So for parasite cleansing, which she believes we basically all need, she basically recommends using a Zapper and taking the following herbs: Black Walnut Hulls (from the black walnut tree) Wormwood (from the Artemesia shrub) Common Cloves (from the clove tree) Some of her claims do sound a bit wacky and extreme, but I think there is also validity to some of her core stuff. I've tried her liver flushing lately, and they seem to be really cleaning me out. As well as her style Zapper. So, I am starting to agree that it is very important for us to do good disinfection and detoxing for body purification, preventive maintenance and optimal health.
