  1. blue orbs

Yes! I swear I was seeing some of these little blue sparks yesterday... BTW, can someone decode all the symbology in that pic? 3 cobras, conch shell, crescent moon, trident, etc...?
  2. I am back

Very interesting and welcome back! Could you please explain the meaning of this "original" Taiji, then? Looks like the center of a toroidal vortex.
  3. Yea, 2 of us were out-of-towners who flew in. Well, Santi did easily manhandle me with his impromptu Silat demos. And I could feel his qi force field...although no, it's not necessarily like a hard, impenetrable brick wall. But, it's palpable and it can also transform your malintent so you lose your attack aggression. So, I could definitely see it as being a good adjunct to actual hard physical contact. Which can feel far more steely when amped up with internal power regardless of the attacker's intent. Then, combine the 2 together and it's a pretty potent cocktail. Santi knows a lot of qi maneuvers and how to integrate them in healing or combat. I don't want to turn into a workshop junky...but there really is no substitute for live instruction. It would be very difficult to extract the same understanding out of any recorded media without the live demos and feedback on your practice. Not to mention the darshan and personal transmissions... So, it's good stuff (not that I'm an expert critic). And I would be interested in hearing another TB's feedback when they try one of his workshops too.
  4. blue orbs

Orbs are generally entities. Guides, spirits, ghosts, etc. Not sure what the colors signify, though? Good question.
  5. Ok, well I just got back from the trip, so this will be just a quick rundown and brief impressions... First off, thanks to Santi for being such a kind, open and very gracious host and teacher! He is a very cool, friendly, down-to-earth guy. He has his head & heart in the right place and enjoys generously sharing his substantial knowledge. And he can show everything he tells, too. Anyhoo, basically, KAP 1 gives you the basic working tools you need to awaken your kundalini...as well as experienced instruction on how to use them properly. It's very good nuts & bolts stuff, along with the right way to perform them. So, if you spent years or decades trying different methods out and ways to do them...and finally distilled them down to the few CORE things that actually worked - and the best way to do them - well, that's the idea behind KAP. Of course, Santi also threw in a few extra skills when time allowed, but the emphasis was always on the core basics. During the workshop, we all had some various small experiences. One guy who was repeating the class, heard some "background" noises in his head and had to "snap out of it" at one point cuz his energy was surging "too much," I guess. I had some pretty strong vibrations and also saw my first orb! It really shocked me because it was basically just like a small camera flash (except slightly asymmetrical) - but really that unmistakable. We're not talking some vague glow here...but a bright white sparkle flash. Clear as f'n day. Another guy saw a small manifestation that basically disappeared in front of his eyes. And Santi also demo'd some of his impressive Silat skills...and this guy has some real internal strength. When he amps it up, he is simply solid, immovable and repels you. Not to mention, I also had a rather interesting sidetrip to Coral Castle...but that's another story... But, that was all just the fun sideshows. The real stuff was the solid fundamentals we learned - which I think is the real strength of this course. A good, reliable foundation to build on. Of course, my "real" testimony will be forthcoming as I chart my progress and actually awaken my kundalini. Not sure when that will be...but could be in under 2 months if I trained religiously. Of course, knowing how hectic my schedule is still, I'm realistically just going to train when I can. But after I get "over the hump" of "life clearing," I'll have more free time to really go fuller force. It will happen when it should. So, in summary, Santi knows his stuff and will get you off on the right foot and point you in the right direction along the shorter path. After that, all you have to do is keep walking until you reach your destination. Which is personally what I'm looking for. And if you feel like you've been wandering around taking shots in the dark without much time to "waste," I would recommend getting on the fast track too! So, I'm glad I went this weekend because it seemed to be just the right time for me to learn this. I had a great time and learned a lot with a great teacher and course! Thanks to everyone who helped make this workshop a wonderful success, then - Santi (& fam), Glenn Morris, the other attendees and others beyond.. Hope to all stay in touch and keep building..
  6. Thanks! PS - Here's some routes from MIA to hotels/Santiago's for possible future reference:
  7. ///

Which point was it? And funny how literal the word "insight" really is...
  8. And for a side trip to: Coral Castle 28655 S Dixie Hwy Homestead, FL 33033-1214 305-248-6345 7 AM - 9 PM From: What time does it start getting dark in Miami these days, btw? I wanna know how late I can go to Coral Castle and still get decent daylight visibility?
  9. ///

What did he say about parasitic entities? Because this topic has come up before and it would be cool to get some more info on the topic. steam - I'm a bit confused about "phosphenism?" It sounds like "phosphenes" are simply the afterimage you see after staring at a bright light? And then "phosphenism" is swaying your head rhythmically while seeing this afterimage?
  10. Ok, I just booked my hotel & rental and thought I'd post these for any future attendees to consider: I ended up choosing these: Quality Inn South at The Falls (FL113) (7.8 mi) 14501 S. Dixie Hwy. (US 1) Miami, FL, US, 33176-7925 305-251-2000 ~$95/day E-Z Rent-A-Car $22.50/day The next 2 were also good options (within walking distance) - but cost a bit more and cabfare is apparently $50 from MIA to them. So, I decided to just rent a car and then stay at the slightly farther (but cheaper) hotel above, instead. Best Western Kendall Hotel & Suites (.7 mi) 8560 SW 124th Avenue Kendall, FL 33183 305-271-4848 Rates from $125.99 (or $120) Country Inn and Suites (Wellesley Inn Miami Kendall) (1.5 miles) 11750 SW Mills Drive Miami, FL 33183 305-412-7795 ~$100/night Anyhow, that's just a snapshot of when I was looking just now. But I'm sure things could always change...so I'd still see for yourself.
  11. SILAT WARRIOR Hurt'em & Heal'em CAMP 2008

Wow, these attacks look strongly intended, yet still repelled. Definitely the more impressive empty force demos I've seen due to the harder nature of the attacks. So, what % of people does this work on, though? Just the relatively open & sensitive ones, or no? Man, can't wait to make it down there this weekend!
  12. Got any "Dragon Gate" pictures?

I've actually been to Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang, Henan Province. It's basically a bunch of shallow caves, rooms & reliefs carved into a long hillside cliff. All the iconography is basically Buddhist though. I would think Jesse's explanation is likely more correct with connection to the Taoist Longmen Pai, then. Very interesting. I still would like to study with him in China sometime, but just ran out of vacation time this year...
  13. The Serpent - Satan?

The "Original Sin" was when Eve got seduced (Biblically "knew") by a Reptilian Archon (serpent) and bore his bastard love child - Cain. That's really why Cain was rejected by Yahweh (who did not approve of further alien/human mixing) - and then murked his brother Abel in anger. Why do you think the Bible was so obsessed with bloodlines? Who begat who begat who? And why was only Noah's GENErations called "perfect?" I actually believe that a lot of the real ancient knowledge is a lot more literal than people believe today. But, that's just my hypothesis-in-progress of the week. Subject to change by...next.
  14. Chinese Exercise Balls

Well, I bought mine in Beijing. They had a huge sack of them at a market there, and you just had to sift through them to try to find yourself a matching pair. I can feel qi more in my shoulders and back if I focus on it, but I use them more for just relieving tension by grinding them really hard together. Sort of like teeth grinding, I suppose, lol. I really like the sound and feel of the walnuts grating together. Maybe I can shoot a small video of this. For stimulating qi via my own hands, I find that simply rubbing my fingertips together is much more facile and effective.
  15. AMMA

Thanks, I found an actual schedule here: Well, looks like I had read the schedule wrong, though. It's actually on Sun & Mon, not Sat & Sun. So, maybe I can go up Sunday instead, and stay a bit longer through the service...and not have to hug & run. Thanks for the tips, everybody. I'm pretty pumped!
  16. The Whole Soy Story

I agree - but people are slow to listen, especially if you are not a "recognized authority figure" (ie - a news anchor with a name like "Biff Barkendale" or a guest on Oprah). Only soy I eat is traditionally-prepared forms, as you noted. And those are mostly just for flavoring. Otherwise, all beans are high in protein and fiber - so why do you have to choose soy? When there's plenty of other options available without all the "anti-nutrients?" Can you say, "marketing?" Fact is, they could market black beans or lentils just as easily... And most of the purported health benefits are for WOMEN, anyways. Well, what's good for the goose is not necessarily good for the gander, fellas!
  17. AMMA

So, does anyone know the timeline on these? Like, if it starts at 7:30 PM, does she just start hugging people from then? Or give a lecture first? I basically just want a hug from her - so when do you think I could get that during the 7:30 PM session (because I have a prior engagement later that night).
  18. Spiritual Guides

Speaking of sex-related topics... Does anyone feel like promising commitment often feels too rigid and unadaptable to the unpredictable divine flow these days? I mean, how can you promise something in the future when you don't know where the flow might take you then? Seems some people want some sort of guarantee upfront, though? Although a few others don't.. This is probably an internal issue I need to work out. But just wondering how everyone else is handling their bidness these days? How do you conduct a Taoist sexual "relationship?" Flexible and in the moment? Step-by-step without getting ahead of yourselves? Or still just more conventionally with leaps of faith and "politician promises?"
  19. countermeasures against hairloss

I need anti-graying technology. I'm trying some liquid minerals right now.
  20. Empty Vessel

Yea, but which issue was it??? Anyone know?
  21. The reality of Max Christensen

Yup. Max doesn't just give dry lectures. He can actually do what he says and enjoys showing what he tells. So, expect to see a lot of cool energetic party tricks.
  22. Qi gong queries

I find when doing qigong, it feels more comfortable to connect to the energy first and then let it guide you. As opposed to "conventionally" the other way around. So, instead of focusing on your breathing (to guide your energy), you could focus on following the energy and letting it dictate your breathing, instead. I dunno, just something different to try...as I've admittedly not really had any formal instruction in this. So, caveat emptor.
