Smoking & barby? *gasp!* Say, have you taken ThetaHealing before? And are you talking about aliens? Which ones?

Pre-enlightenment: Who am I? Post-enlightenment: Who am I not?

Holy cow - and you saw this??? BTW, his website appears down now - any idea whereabouts he is these days?

Absolutely agreed. I for one, have immensely enjoyed DZ's contributions here thus far. And will be really sad to see him go.

Seems faith is a substitute for belief. And belief is a substitute for knowing. So, ultimately we seek knowing. But lacking that, we may sometimes have to rely on belief or faith.

Question: Does the "no touch" Tantric "energy hands" part only work on people open and sensitive enough to feel it - or everyone? In martial arts and hypnosis - these types of "hands off" techniques have the strongest visible effects on energy-sensitive people - which is why the masters generally demo on their top students. So, I'm just curious if the same is true here? IOW, even if the technique is performed the same - you will have high-responders and low-responders? And if so, how wide a range is there and what is the average response?

What is Tao? What is God (if they believe in it)? And what is the difference, if any? What is their ultimate goal?

I don't think you have to go through a company to get a visa - they are more just for information on them. Just go to your nearest Chinese embassy.

Yea, women are generally far more accustomed at feeling - which is a huge key to the energetic arts. OTOH, they also tend to be more ADD (multi-tasking) and have more trouble emptying their minds. Whereas men are better at focusing and thoughtlessness. So, each has its own advantages & challenges. And both have to combine the best of both worlds to make it.

WOW, could you elaborate on these, please? And have you learned any of his methods? What exactly is his method, if he has one? Sounds like a very cool guy to meet. Maybe I need to plan a trip to Mt. Shasta...an interesting site full of folklore in itself, as well...

Good questions. I'm guessing the language barrier is going to be the biggest hurdle for any foreigner...as most Chinese don't speak any English. Especially the older crowd. Then again, they might just have a beginner do basic stuff like lotus meditation that does not require much explanation. And yes, you do need a visa. There's different types offered depending upon your purpose and duration of stay. Basically, if you are planning on staying a month or less - an L tourist visa is easy to get and sufficient. But I believe for longer stays, you may need an F or X visa with some sort of invitation letter.

China Taoist Association Response - Wang Liping
gendao replied to dao zhen's topic in General Discussion
Well, thank you for your great hospitality! I will keep that in mind. I was in Beijing last year, but on my next trip perhaps I will come out to Wudangshan... My friend also met Kwan Saihung before. I believe he said he was in pretty great, rugged physical shape for his age. Although he knew but didn't teach that much alchemy because his students just weren't geared up for it, or something. Got any pictures of him, btw? And thanks for all the great info you have shared with us! It's all been really great to read. -
Sounds cool - any sites for this?

Sure, just right-click on the picture there and save it. Ah, I still haven't been to Wudangshan...but hope to one day. So, how long have you been training? And here's another cool picture of a Buddhist, Taoist & Confucian...as they're about to walk into a bar...(J/K) -

Yea, great pics and contributions, Dao Zhen! The main visual difference that I noticed between temple Daoists and Buddhists in China was that the Daoists all had long hair and beards...while Buddhists had shaved heads and no beards. -
Can you see your shadow in the dark?

I'm sure. No group is absolutely monolithic. Most form some sort of bell curve with a range of viewpoints (just like this board). So, I would like to learn about all the gray areas in more detail.

He he, well I can handle the truth, whatever it is. I've actually been interested in UFOs and aliens since a young age. But, I will just wait for the Kunlun board to hear Mantra's take on it (hopefully soon). Should be very interesting...

This on the bigger picture on aliens. The 2 main "hostile" aliens to us are the Draconian reptilians and Zeta greys. The reptilians have this old grudge against us and primarily just use us as a food source. While the greys are using our genetics to restore their own by creating a hybrid race. And if you ever encounter a hostile reptilian, you best get the hell outta there because they have superhuman strength and are extremely psychic! IOW, you'd basically be dead meat in a 1-on-1, H2H death match.
