Sounds cool. And yea, I figured they were sensed presences. Which I don't find too "far out" these days, at all... Well, I'm not sure how similar our "death experiences" actually were - because I'd imagine the terminology's meaning may vary in different paths. But, mine was basically a huge catharsis where I sort of froze up as this powerful energy pushed through me. Supposedly, your breathing and heart stops, although I don't think completely literally. But, it could kinda seem that way as you sit there frozen like rigor mortis. I also didn't OBE, either. I sorta just felt like in a suspended state of animation, sorta in a daze from this huge catharsis. I'm not really sure if death is supposed to feel like that, or what. So, I'm not sure if it has made me feel differently about death. Because actually, I don't even know what I feel about death, to begin with. Haven't really thought about it too much yet, to be honest. So...what was yours like?

You could zip the file and try again here. Or upload it to a hosting site and post the link here.

I would agree that a very open, I suppose trance, state could leave you vulnerable to negative entities (at least at first, before you can protect yourself). Fortunately, I was protected by the close presence of others at the time. I also never used it for self-healing. I believe theta state is the one for that. Well, I can see your point about showboating, lol. However, I think they can also communicate directly to people, or 2nd-hand if they so choose. It's like say you're on the phone with John, and Jane is right there. So, while you're talking to John, you ask him to pass a message on to Jane. This is no big deal IRL, so I don't see why it would be in any other dimensions, either? Could be - but I wasn't trying anything. It all just happened to me. Hell, I didn't even really know what trance was. And I certainly wasn't planning on channeling anything. No harm in taking things cautiously, though.

I guess it would be hard to "prove" exactly what you were channeling, yes. I would seem to agree that trance is a hi-fi state. It felt that way to me, although I have no idea if I was technically in trance according to whatever the technical definition of it is. So, I can't even be entirely sure we are talking about the same thing here. But, I don't see why a higher frequency would be harmful. In fact, the gamma state has been associated with inspiration. Why would ascended masters "need" to speak through us? Well, I don't think they have to - they can also just be communicted with separately. There's many ways to skin a cat... But if anything, wouldn't channeling be LESS about ego, since you have to subjugate your local ego in order to allow another consciousness override it? BTW, I didn't intentionally try to channel - it just happened spontaneously. And I have a feeling this is the case for many others as well..

I believe Mo Pai is a rather forceful and high-risk method - and getting to level 4 even with a teacher's guidance is risky. I think Kostas tried to do it alone and sounds like he paid the price. And others have also died before him attempting the same thing, I believe... -
Well, what if you are channeling your "Higher Self/Oversoul?" In which case you (little you) are simply switching to You (big you). As far as why - well, "higher" sources often have better information that can be harder to get in your normal Beta state. I mean, is it not like seeking out better teachers or masters in the flesh here? Also, you mentioned something about the 8 energy bodies here. What are they exactly?
-
I'm not sure if this is the same thing, but what about when you're channeling "in trance?" When your local conscious mind takes a backseat to whatever you're channeling. Your awareness is not really "gapped," but it's not really just "your" own localized awareness anymore either. In fact, your local consciousness is sort of subdued in a "trance."

Funny, I just noticed you 2 look rather similar: Anyhow, bon voyage and this all sounds like a dream come true. Wow! I'm sure you'll have plenty of stories to tell soon...

Yea, I have a hunch that energy transmission can be easily blocked or stopped. One time, I was getting some qi from a healer and inhaled up into my chest (instead of down towards my belly). She got a startled look as the qi seemed to get stopped and "back up" into her. So, I think I inadvertantly blocked her transmission simply with my breathing. And with Kunlun, I am always in full control at any time and could stop any of the kriyas, etc. - if I wanted to. Of course, I don't and just flow with them because they are therapeutic, so why would I? But OTOH...I also got 1" soft-punched and knocked off my feet once. This was basically a "pure qi" punch (no real body mechanics involved) and I'm not sure I could have blocked the qi blast. And I was not playing along, either. So, it may be that someone can inflate themselves with qi and have great "peng" energy. Which would make their punches much harder and structure much stronger. However, this does not involve actually transmitting energy to another person. Which is a different animal and can probably be fairly easily blocked by that person. I dunno, just a guess..

When a BJJ teacher demos an armbar on his student - does he resist or play along? Most just play along because resisting would seem rude and possibly a challenge to the teacher's authority. Which is not to say the armbar would absolutely not work, either. Just that it may not work as well (or much at all) against a resisting opponent in real life. Anyways, at least this guy put his money where his mouth is. But, how he became so overconfident in his abilities is a mystery to me... Seems like he should have gotten reality-checked welll before this?

It's on the 7th this year. But due to timezones, that was "yesterday" in China and today in the West.

At a Kunlun workshop in November... Interesting - so what triggered yours? I'm guessing that you weren't working with abo healers physically - but saw them in your mind? Or, did you actually do it with live abos? Also, how long did it last for you? I think mine was about 15-20 minutes. I felt frozen like a statue for a while. And I'm sure it did blow out a lot of old, stuck emotions to allow a lot of new energy in.

Indeed, I never got too much laughing. When I had my "death experience," I was sobbing, not laughing like everyone else around me. I know I've had a lot of pain & sorrow deep inside of me. Maybe those who laughed (seemingly the majority) don't.

Just to add some fuel to the inferno...I believe Qiu Fuyi has been mentioned with some tangential connection to LSD at some point? - Well, he demonstrates his "empty force" and "iron body" skills.- However, when performing the exact same demos under a little ...did he blow his cover? I can't say for sure, but I believe so. The reason why is that genuine masters don't need any set-ups...whereas illusionists always use the same set-ups. Because basically, a set-up = a set-up. So, this guy must suspiciously use the EXACT SAME cloth-covered table and props everytime. Why??? I mean, I understand using basically the same props since you have rehearsed routines...but I think they should basically be interchangeable with similar items, no? Well, it turns out that his table may have been rigged with springs, pulleys and a magnet. And when any part of the set-up was altered, like when the glass bottle was moved and covered with a different cloth (see ) - he was NOT able to replicate the same results. Note: I am not claiming FOR A FACT that this guy is fradulent...much less anyone in LSD, that may or may not even be related to his pai, lol. Just sayin' - this guy alone does seem questionable.

Interestingly, I believe there's an old Balinese myth about ...one of whom bears a child with a human prince... But, I digress. -
Well, BKF himself told some pretty stories of CIMA masters (including Wang Shu Jin)...so are you saying he was wrong - even though you still highly admire him?

This seems to be the "biggest picture" I've found yet on ETology. It basically claims that the Draconian reptilians have basically "screwed" over everyone in their path for billions of years now. Including a group in Orion that then genetically-altered the Zeta greys into a slave race. Unfortunately, the US chose to make an "exclusive" pact with these greys (1954 Greada Treaty), which effectively excluded help from all other more "benevolent" alien races. And instead, these greys just want to use our genetics to restore their own (hence, all the abductions and probing). Not to mention, tool us to fight the Draconian reptilians for them. Who are coming back to take us all over again, btw. -

As far as qi goes - I think my most demonstrative experience was when a qigong healer pumped qi into me up against a big blockage. When she did this, I could actually feel it press up against the blockage and conform to its shape - as water would against a dam. Kinda like the liquid metal in T2. So, I think qi is just as the ancient Chinese described it - some sort of distinct orgone energy - not some modern reinterpretation in Westerm biology. But again, this is hard to prove objectively or over the net... -
^^^ That's your new house? Damn. Enjoy la pura vida and loads of gallo pinto for me! So, is that just going to be a vacation home or are you permanently ex-patting? And good luck on your move to Hotlanta, Cam! I think the Deep South will be quite a change from LA East.

WOW, thanks Max! So, basically gargle with sunflower or sesame oil for 15 minutes? I have some receding gums and grooves in my cementum right now that I want to regrow. So, I think I just may have to try this!

Ok, that's a separate question then - and I don't think one that can be "proven" to you on a messageboard, really. As for health problems - if half your energy is already diverted to start with, it stands to reason that walking may then be even too strenuous for you. So, of course it's all relative. But for the majority of people out there, it's not too strenuous. -

C'mon - it's relative. Cancer alone is going to drain your qi, as well as other health ailments. Not the walking itself, per se. -

I have a theory that low-intensity activity like walking or Taijiquan activates qi. This is why you don't feel tired after walking. Whereas high-intensity activity also activates it...but then exhausts it as well. Which is why you feel tired after a hard workout. So in the end, you either end up with a net gain or loss of qi. And if it was too strenuous, it's probably a net loss. So, this may be one reason why most Taoist internal arts stay in slow-mo with no extended intense activity. And also why walking is my favorite exercise these days.. -
That's very interesting. Because just yesterday I was getting my teeth cleaned and my dental assistant was telling me about the link between oral bacteria & arterial plaque. What they've found is that when your gums get inflammed and recessed from bacteria - the cellular walls open larger to allow macrophages to pass through to attack the invaders. Unfortunately, this also allows the invaders in the larger openings. So, whether through that or gum bleeding - such oral bacteria can then enter your bloodstream and it seems, may help cause the formation of arterial plaque and circulatory problems. So, people with bad teeth often get bad hearts and blood vessels. Therefore, anything that cleans the blood and reduces inflammation would help fight this.

I have a powerful healer friend who claimed that his is one of the best new spiritual series out today. So, regardless if the narrative is real or not, I think some of the info may still be very useful. That said, I haven't read it myself yet - so I can't give a personal review.
