I'd always hoped a local Taobum would go try out his Emotional Liposuction and give us some more verifiable feedback. I would not watch any more of his videos to avoid predisposing you to any certain reactions, and maybe offer to pay him the $300 if you decide not to air the video after viewing it. That should provide a fair "out" option for you. I also wish he'd do a few outreach tours around the country to reach a wider, nonlocal audience for others also interested in trying out his therapy.

Difference between Qigong and Neigong?
gendao replied to JustARandomPanda's topic in Daoist Discussion
I'm a bit confused by these correlations? Doesn't jing-->wu = manifest-->unmanifest & wu-->jing = unmanifest-->manifest? I mean, jing = manifest & wu = unmanifest, right? -
Lol, I understand your skepticism. "Conspiracy theorists" often do tend to skew towards worst-case scenarios. But, this same development has also been reported by mass media and raised the same ethical concerns amongst neuroscientists: So, I don't think future "killer robot armies" is much of an exaggeration or extrapolation here.. There are huge taxpayer-funded budgets devoted to these goals.

^ Interesting connections... And for another example of what the Feds do to squash any holistic technology that threatens their global control with public science - see how the and book burned all his works to stop and destroy all his research in orgone energy. Curing cancer without chemo/pharmaceuticals has also been another highly-punishable offense in North America. Just ask Rene Caisse, Harry Hoxsey, Royal Raymond Rife, Stanislaw Burzynski, Rick Simpson, etc.. By contrast, Ed Leeskalnin kept his unified field theory encrypted to the G-men, and was thus able to evade similar fates.. So whatever you do, just try to avoid the...

Yoikes... I would also be curious to know exactly what their training techniques are? I mean, I am pretty curious about if and how a guy can actually lift 350-500 lbs strapped to his junk?? Black Indigenous Malaysians embody Anarcho-Taoism
gendao replied to Harmonious Emptiness's topic in General Discussion
Nomadic hunter-foragers who live off wild foods and move around to let the terrain regenerate are definitely the most sustainable and healthy for the species in the long-term. Whereas, most "more advanced" modernized humans are already too weak and degenerated now to handle their lifestyles living like native animals: Unfortunately, these "WILD MEN" tribes, also including the Native Americans, San Bushmen and Bigfoot, are getting pushed out of existence through their wild habitat destruction by rampant logging, plantations, urban sprawl, cultural modernization and also women outbreeding. These peoples have a LOT to teach us...yet our war against Nature is rapidly forcing them to the brink of extinction. After which, once they're gone, there will be no way to bring them or their deep Earth wisdom, back...- 9 replies

Well, the Anglo-American Empire has already killed tens of millions of natives with swords and guns to exploit them and take their land. And that still actively continues to this day: And ultimately, their War is against All the "natives" of THIS PLANET...so they will ruthlessly weaponize every technology, especially exotic technology, that they can towards that end. Whilst simultaneously trying to keep them heavily restricted or banned for medical use. So, if you devise any ways to mechanize, and thus mass-produce, this phenomena...I would be VERY wary of applying for a patent or otherwise informing the Feds (or other Americanized power structure/mainstream apparatus) of your discovery. Because in the name of "national interest/security," they will likely just confiscate your technology and weaponize it against all Earthizens to increase their control on us. See Royal Rife, Tesla's work, "free energy" inventors, etc. etc... Given the choice, they have literally already chosen the "Dark (Grey) Side!" BTW, I wonder what Jiang thinks about aliens, if anything? But I digress.. One thing I like about Gengmenpai's methodology is first evaluating the student for significant blockages first to gauge their actual starting point. I've found that this isn't often addressed in many systems...even though blockages (if you have them) seem to be the main thing literally impeding progress. And which appear to be released far more easily through direct therapy than jumping right into their basic qigong form.

Sweet, thanks! Oops, I had missed that in his lineage.. And dang, that would have been cool if he could have met John Chang & traded notes! In fact, if him, John, Wang Liping and Luo KangQi could all meet in a roundtable and compare methodologies and results! Or am I dreaming? Another interesting excerpt is on page 30 of Adventures In Qi Healing With Master Jiang: I'm slightly confused as to what is considered external vs internal though, since both types get injected internally into the patient? Is the wei qi simply referring to qi that has been projected remotely to, and nei qi passed through direct contact with, the patient? And grounding is also important when they fa qi into these patients, similar with John Chang...as they must first have their yonquan points opened and stand barefoot on wet towels (p 29). Aurelian also stated that since he had apparently already reached a fairly advanced level when Jiang first tested him, he was already ready to "cross the bridge" if he so chose, but for which there was no turning back.. (p 4) Sounds like this correlates with the 2nd Threshold, and Aurelian even describes is as entering a real "magical" realm. What exactly is that bridge, though? And how exactly do you form the square and circle mudras mentioned on p 75? Well, many thanks & enjoy your tangyuan! Cool, it can only help to have more expert witnesses. I do wonder if Jiang believes that qi, a bioenergy, can be generated (or even measured?) by machines? An if so, if such a synthetic version might still be inferior to the original divine natural phenomena? I do know from page 92, they generally specify wildcrafted herbs and ingredients in their medicinal recipes. Which are even more natural than merely "organic" farmed crops. As is the whole basic Naturalist thrust of Taoism.

I agree. Don't waste his time & qi simply repeating what's already been documented. What's interesting in those videos is that he can somehow modulate his projected qi to cause paper to either burn...or levitate. How does he do that? I don't know of another form of known energy that can have multiple effects on objects like that? So, is qi somewhere on the electromagnetic spectrum? Or perhaps in some pre-dimensional "dimension" along with emotions and thought? And how much harder is it to project qi through various materials?

Well, I'm guessing leandro, or other disciples, can probably answer all these, so I wouldn't waste Master Jiang's time with them if they can. I'd reserve more advanced or personal questions for Master Jiang. I do wonder with all the powerful feats and healings he does, how can he be sure he is not depleting his xiantian jing? And how long must he generally train daily to keep his houtian qi, or whatever energy he uses, replenished? What were Xuan Kong's and Gengmenpai's primary lineages and influences? What were the most amazing stories he remembered about Xuan Kong? Why do their yijinjing sets differ somewhat from the publicized versions? How does qigong pave the way to enlightenment? Is there a relationship between emptiness and power? Is it more important to clear internal blockages or absorb qi from outside in qigong? What are the quantitative and qualitative differences between Yin & Yang qi? Are the fields perhaps perpendicular like electricity & magnetism or bipolarities (like +/- electrical terminals or magnetic poles) in the same field? And why is Taoist health & immortality based upon converting to 100% "True Yang?" What exactly is the lower dantian? Perhaps where our umbilical cord started and/or the geometric center of our pelvic bone? Does more jing or qi get stored within bone marrow or dantians? Or are the dantians just the cauldrons used to phase-change energies? Also, are there general healthy lifestyle guidelines he recommends...like maybe sexual jing conservation, early sleep, grounding, special diet or herbs, etc?

Shaolin Yijinjing Gengmenpai neigong workshop with Dr. Jiang Feng in China, Fall 2013.
gendao replied to grady's topic in General Discussion
So, you do not intentionally (if passively) cultivate Yin qi through physical grounding to the Earth to later "fuse" condensed Yin & Yang qi and then become able to discharge Yang qi in high enough amounts to feel like electricity? Also, is it possible to restore prenatal jing? -
I believe his teacher learned from many sources, but one main lineage was from down from Bodhidharma (Damo). His disciples can probably answer these for us, but: Is YiJinJing mainly to release and purify all emotional and downstream toxins stored in the muscle tissue? So, is XiSuiJing (洗髓经) perhaps then to clean out even deeper issues stored inside the bones (brain & marrow)? What kind of issues would be stored that deeply? And is this the neigong portion of Gengmenpai? And what Chinese character is "geng" in Gengmenpai in (?门派) & what does it all mean, btw?

Another reason may be to submerge our conscious in our subconscious, which gets embodied in our body - so we can become conscious of our subconscious... On the mythological level, it represents descending into the Underworld to retrieve the "Elixir"...and ultimately attain "Immortality" (transcending physical life & death).
-
Right, it's similar to how if you scan a book page into a jpg file and then insert it into MS Word, you're not going to be able to manipulate its text with it. Because Word will just see it as a random collection of pixels, not text characters. Same thing with importing an image into 3D CAD - 500 black pixels in a row won't be recognized as related points of a line extending between defined coordinates in 3D space. Even though the human eye would see it as one entity..
-
They do? Someone can take a jpg image file and somehow convert it into a 3D object stl file?? I could see adding a special effect (like embossing) to a 2D file to make it look 3Dish...but actually turning it into a 3D object with a different file type? Well, if you figure out how...let me know! Cuz I'd be curious, lol..
-
Hmm, I'm not sure that you can import an image file into a true 3D solid modeling program and protrude it? Normally, you'd have to sketch the pattern from scratch and model it entirely within a program. Although with basic geometry like a bagua, that shouldn't be too hard...

Evolution vs. Creationism. Bill Nye Debates Ken Ham.
gendao replied to ralis's topic in The Rabbit Hole
They actually both made some good points. I think there should be more intellectual debates on TV rather than just totally polarized rhetoric.. Ken claimed both Creationist and secular scientists lacked evidence for how taxonomic Families originally arose? And so both camps filled in these blind spots . Of course, some of those Biblical beliefs were easy softballs for Bill to knock out of the park... Meanwhile, Bill focused primarily on disproving that the Earth is only 4000 years old. However, he seemed to ignore the CORE debate about evolution itself?
