What herbs & diet did you use?
  2. Cancer-killing dandelion tea gets $157K research grant

So, to recap and then some.. Dandelion Root Extract Sabah Snake Grass Cinnamon Ginger Kelley Eidem's Pepper & Fats The active ingredients here are probably capsaicin, Vitamin D3 & Vitamin K2 (menaquinone)... Antineoplastons Zhineng Qigong
  3. What do you think of David Icke?

Well, the stuff he talks about isn't even subtly hidden anymore. They are just blatantly pumping it out through our mass media now. Here's a recent, grossly-obvious example of such llluminati porn from pop icon Kanye West: I wouldn't watch it too long though, because it is obviously trying to implant textbook Luciferi@n symbols into your head!
  4. Lol, you do realize that this whole forum was founded by disaffected Mantak Chia "defectors?" I think he does provide a lot of good theoretical info and reference material. However, I am skeptical of his own abilities and actual practices. But, it doesn't have to be all-or-nothing.. The key is to know what to take and what to leave from every source.
  5. Interesting. So, sounds like you had some dogmatic differences, but were the actual energetic practices pretty similar or compatible? If you skip to 14:25 in this video of Shi DeLon, the narrator explains some of the various shaking symptoms: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JOmqnrGZM9k We saw a lotttt of this in Kunlun... I personally think that it represents just the initial emotional tsunami when the major floodgates are first opened. Sort of like how when a pressure cooker is first opened - an amount of water will immediately escape in the form of steam under its own pressure alone. So, I think shaking is like that over-pressurized steam venting out of a cooker when it is first opened... The predominant issues just bursting at our seams. Shake, rattle & roll! But, what about all the rest of the non-vaporized water still in it? That can't escape under its own accord? Well, that remainder may still take years of processing and adjunctive therapies afterward to really detox all out (which may also manifest on various levels). And some of it may even have to be sucked out!
  6. Help with LDT

  7. Cool, I'd love to see that book - I wonder what the title is? And fortunately, all Chinese script is the same (different dialects like Cantonese vs Mandarin exist only in the oral pronunciation). Unfortunately though, I can still barely read any Chinese..lol. Which is a shame because so many books exist only in Chinese! Ironically, I think due to the language barrier, Western students may end up practicing more, and studying less. They do not become "burdened" by knowing too much, too soon - and so may actually make faster progress initially. It is pretty cool to see modern American kundalini practitioners integrating with a traditional Chinese qigong master - and how those similar practices mesh with each other. Were there any notable differences or different emphases? I know in general that Chinese neidan is a more lower dantian-focused practice that seeks to open the microcosmic orbit (ren & du mai) before the kundalini (zhong mai). Whereas the Indian yogic system seems to focus more on opening the kundalini first with upward attention on the 3rd eye? Interesting - so he likes the spontaneous shaking, too? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f3uo7_lhWpw Is the spontaneous shaking more for the initial big purge of gross blockages, though? That diminishes later on after your major blockages have been pushed out? (This is the impression I got after my experience with Kunlun.) Yea, it's key details like this where the teaching/knowledge do start paying huge dividends over just tireless brute effort... Hmm, are you talking about the same or different Kan & Li levels as Mantak Chia? And I think the "highest" level would be the "Celestial Immortal" of Taoism that (I believe) would correspond to the Law Body (fashen, dharmakaya) of Buddhism. Very informative & great post, Thanks!!!
  8. Cool, are you referring to Master Zhang Jing Fa? I presume these "Arhat standing methods" refer to various forms of mabu/zhan zhuang? I would agree that Chinese neigong does seem to revolve around zhan zhuang and jing zuo (standing & sitting meditation)...and numerous variations of those 2 themes. But, aside from any obvious external differences (like arm or foot positions), the difficult part comes in figuring out what you're supposed to be doing differently internally in those different variations. Or which ones you should even be doing to maximize your progress - as there are different variations to better suit different personal constitutions, purposes & levels, from what I gather.. Hence traditionally, a sensitive coach could diagnose and guide you in your own customized training path. Although lacking that, I think you can still advance on your own with even a generic formula (as typically mass-marketed here), it just won't likely be nearly as efficient or fast, though..
  9. Prometheus

Lol, I was completely underwhelmed by the trailer alone.. Ooh, wait...I mean.. In short...another cheap, unoriginal ploy to remarket the whole Alien franchise to the Millenials and milk a few more dollars from that old cash cow.
  10. I know that zhan zhuang is traditionally a core, beginning practice in China, with many different schools and methods of it. I've also heard of it leading to various abilities (like yin shen OBEs, etc.), as well as just obviously clearing meridians and building gong. And while it may all look "the same" on the outside, there may be entirely different things going on inside. So, could you kindly expound upon your statement here - and what lineage or variation will allegedly lead to this specific claim?
  11. David Verdesi

Yes, I remember that scene in Verdesi's video where Jiang sucked out enough gelatinous blood that filled a pan like jello! Anyone still got it? But, I believe that cupping itself is a FANTASTIC therapy though - that really helps to dredge and stretch your tissues and various pathways open. It's actually a vastly-underrated and overlooked therapy in the West still. And even without strong qigong to enhance it, it is still a very powerful detox method (IMO). So, if you haven't tried it - you're really missing out! Give it a shot before you brush it off! Here's another example, with no qigong involved...yet still with similar results (stagnated blood like cranberry sauce drawn out!): Now, this guy must have had some severe blockages though - as most would likely have far less blood (and not necessarily congealed) if they even chose to get any (optional) bloodletting done along with the cupping..
  12. Some Beginner Cultivation Tips

You got some authentic pointers here...keep 'em coming! Although, my theory about why dawn is better than high noon for practice is because that is when the atmospheric Yang qi is actually accelerating up the most. By noon, it it no longer accelerating and actually at a standstill right before declining.. So, you would actually absorb the most Yang qi when it is gushing out at full bore in the morning...not noon?
  13. Bad Memories and Love

Beta male suffering seems to be becoming a cultural phenomenom these days? Bullied by higher-status males & rejected by women (sort of the anti-007)... So every few months, yet another young guy with your same story & dilemnas wanders in here.. The Pit having integrity and still getting laid =1&view_by_title=1"]Non Well, have a seat and join the club!

  15. Misdirected Path

I'm not sure how much all these deaths have to do with Buddhism or yoga - vs going on suicidal treks through the desert? I'm confused, since when are Buddhist retreats supposed to be tests of survival vs just extended, undistracted meditation?
  16. Some Beginner Cultivation Tips

Wow, far more knowledgeable info than I was expecting here! Who were your teachers? To wit, what's missing from a lot of the fragmented practices in the West is the overall framework that they all fit into. In China, quality instruction is customized to suit each unique individual (not generically one-size-fits-all like here) and their primary weaknesses/blockages, for instance. Different practices or forms of practices are prescribed for different purposes - by a master who can sense and diagnose your own personal condition. Now of course there's also many different schools and many varying (and sometimes conflicting) opinions.. But, in general, they correlate a lot of what you've said. Perfecting one's health is generally the first step and foundation of neidan. While meditation probably helps this - you may also want to employ TCM herbs, cupping, acupuncture, moxibustion, qigong, psychotherapy, etc. to help cleanse and clear out all your zang-fu organs & meridians. Basically, get all the help you can get! A healthy "human immortal" master will likely look 20 years younger than his actual age - although this is merely the first level of Taoist achievement (yet one that few ever even reach)! As far as meditation - zhan zhuang is often used more as an initial practice to first clear the channels - and then jing zuo (sitting meditation) to store energy. Martial artists will also often start with deep leg bending or stance work to strengthen the legs (and build up internal energy that ways) as well (but moreso in their youth). And I've also heard of a "tian di ri yue" (Heaven Earth Sun Moon) type of qigong that absorbs energy from the sun.. Finally, proper practice time is crucial to eventual progress. I believe it is like growing a mighty tree - the most you can do is simply optimize a naturally-slow rate with dedicated and consistent nurturing.
  17. Not-Doing

    Non-duality = Non-do-ality
  18. Calling all crystal/gemstone experts!

Looks somewhat similar to African red granite? But there's probably a dedicated rock forum out there that you could post your ball on for a good ID..
  19. Example Protocol to test Fa Jin ability

Awesome! So, how did he develop his gong? Hours a day of zhan zhuang for a decade, or what?
  20. Jing building foods

No idea if this works or not...but just FYI:
  21. mercury tooth filling removal

There's various other chelators too. Chelation can be a tricky process with the stronger ones, though. (Sodium Alginate is a "natural" food additive that should be fairly safe to try.)
  22. Lol, it's funny because his Hollywood liberal fanbase would be outraged to know that jerking off with another guy is considered an offense because they are "homosexual." Whereas, presumably "heterosexual" solo masturbation or with a girl - may be ok?? Meanwhile, you're offended because jerking off with young guys would ONLY be considered a lesser offense... Anyhow yes, the Dalai Lama is deified in the West as a political pawn to villainize China. Not unlike with MLK Jr. & Mother Teresa. The "enemy" of your "enemy" is your "BFF"...
  23. WU LIU PAI

Yes, that's very puzzling to me? From what I've seen so far, basically all the Chinese neidan systems utilize sitting meditation as their basic foundation. This includes (but is not limited to): Longgmen Pai Jingdong Gong Mo Pai Kunlun Level 3 Taoist Yoga (Xian-Tian Pai) & numerous other books.. I mean, even the header & classical pics used on their site show guys sitting in lotus. Yet, this is "incorrect" practice? Makes you wonder what is their "correct" practice then...? Anyhow, their retreats are $350 in Moscow or St Petersburg. Problem would be airfare, plus will they be speaking mostly in Russian? Maybe an EU member here can check them out and give the rest of us some feedback?
  24. WU LIU PAI

Yea, I'm wondering what exactly are their methods? They seem to imply they are a spontaneous moving qigong, and expressly not zhan zhuang or sitting meditation? Nice sales pitch and dangling carrot here...lol. But anyone have any experience or idea of what their practice is like - and if it lives up to its hype, though? You mean here? Is there an English version, though?
