You are probably not cultivating enough or properly then? How long are you meditating in stillness per day? Retention without adequate cultivation simply results in sexual frustration - as your prenatal jing is still being converted into postnatal jing (from arousing thoughts) - which then only wants to leak out in sexual fluid. The more you build up postnatal jing, the hornier you will become. Hence, you must disengage your mind and cleanse your heart of passion when you meditate - to prevent mental arousal (and the resultant sexual cascade) to begin with. Yaaa, no one said this was easy... (But, I am no teacher and this is simply my current understanding. Just throwing it out there - you still be your own judge.)
-
In short, to truly quench your sexual desire - you must fill your jing up. Because ironically, the more jing you have, the less you desire sex (apparently). To fill your jing up, you must be still & conserve it. And then practice this for a long time (months or years?) until it's full. But it is simply not something that you accomplish immediately with some mind-driven "pop Tao" technique.

Great thread! I'd love to hear more about the 4-10 branch orbit! I'd also love to hear more elucidation upon the main spinal channels here. I've been under the impression that the governing vessel (du mai) runs up the back and the conception vessel (ren mai) runs down the torso (both shallowly under the skin). The thrusting vessel (chong mai) is the same as the sushumna and actually runs up through the spine. Anyhow, the more I read about the microcosmic orbit...the farther away it seems to move as a goal, lol. By most traditional accounts, the microcosmic orbit is no easy task to open - especially on your own. And unless one has put in a lot of work (or had some powerful daigong) and experienced various confirmatory signs...they may not have actually opened it. Despite what Mantak Chia might imply to you.

I really don't care how you define yourself. Could you just answer my question please? From your own links: Basically, David Koch started a group in 2004 called Americans for Prosperity that has some tangent aims as the more amorphous Tea Party. So what? It's a free country & the Tea Party can't stop others from having similar views. So, how does that qualify the Koch's as "bankrolling the Tea Party?" Especially if there has been no actual direct funding??? And this other article is even shoddier: Yet, none of the 5 "key assertions" include Koch's direct funding of Tea Parties - or anything even much related to that, for that matter... Everything...but a simple statement that actually supports the headline - classic smoke & mirrors! Sorry, but do you really expect me to swallow this blatant propaganda whole?
-
Exactly, reactive...to someone calling me "f'n clueless." But, I guess I am clueless. Because despite asking repeatedly, still no liberals here can quote from all these articles they've been feverishly pasting exactly how much money Koch has allegedly spent "bankrolling" the Tea Party??? Or how much effort he's spent "masterminding" the entire operation? Yes, I am asking for a clue here - because so far I haven't seen any??? Yet instead of simply answering the question (which apparently they can't) - liberals simply resort to childish namecalling. Which pretty much sums up the entire liberal response to the Tea Party. Accuse them of racism (as they themselves make plans to White Flight), getting bankrolled (despite any specific evidence), etc. - anything BUT focus on some of the primary issues they are concerned about - like our country's fiscal and "moral" bankruptcy. This all coming from a party totally puppeteered by shadowy banking cartels themselves! Does that make their followers puppets of puppets? Anyhow, aren't liberals supposed to welcome and be tolerant of diversity? Does that exclude non-liberal viewpoints, Libertarians or conservatives?
-
Did you even read those articles? Or just the headlines? My whole point was that Big Lib blew it up into a huge "story," yet it actually contains no smoking gun. Or pray tell, how much cash or direct influence has Koch actually had on the Tea Party??? What are the actual numbers behind this Geraldo-style "bankrolling" claim??? Typical liberal. Eff up California with a few decades of unbridled liberalism and then White Flight the hell outta dodge before it becomes a total 3rd World bankrupt slum. And then continue your rants for welfare and diversity double-standards from your ivory tower up in the Great White North, lmao! Gee what's wrong with California anymore - liberal mecca welfare state with Pelosicare on the way? Yet, I've been noticing this steady migration out of there by affluent liberals a lot recently - only to infect and screw other places up by pushing the same self-destructive policies that destroyed the place they just left! Actions always speak louder than words... And with many sanctimonious liberals, they are often the opposite.
-
Lol maybe some liberals might try reading past the big headlines? Seriously, is this even news? All smoke, but no fire? This is ridiculous propaganda. There's not even a "smoking gun" here. All I see is how some rich dude donates to the arts, conservative causes, Libertarians and has supported (unspecific in what way) the Tea Party too. And what's so wrong about that, anyways? That's exactly what liberal moguls do with liberal causes. Doesn't even say how much money he's actually given to the Tea Party, either...despite the headline screaming that he's "bankrolled" them. Gimme a f'n break, muppets. The Tea Party is not even about money & fancy conventions anyways. I think half their events are like casual BYOB tailgaters.
-
I just love how Big Lib is more threatened by the grass-roots Tea Party than neocons by "Al Queda!" Yet despite their non-stop 24-7 smear campaign...throwing everything but the kitchen sink against them - the Tea Party keeps kicking the azzes of Democrats & establishment Republicans alike in races across the country! Americans are simply tired of big, dumbed-down corporate politics that serve themselves & cater only to swing voters using emotional appeal & wedge issues rather than addressing our vital issues with working-class Middle America.

Does sex degenerate your overall chi/shen to jing?
gendao replied to nickyro's topic in General Discussion
A. But it's great for women who use sex as currency to manipulate men with! B. But great for women to control you with! C. Hey, if that's good enough for most Americans, then that's good enough for YOU! Why change? *burp* D. Exactly! Lust is the leash that women use to control men with! They are used to men acting like starving puppies ready to jump through any hoops to get some! As soon as they make a suggestive flirt with you, you're supposed to start drooling like a rabid Pavlovian dog automatically ready to do their bidding! But, if men start thinking that the hidden sacrifice is not worth it except for procreation with a select few...then how will the rest retain their control over men? I think any woman who cares about you would support your higher aspirations. Whereas those who care about keeping you in their sexual bondage will feel threatened by your liberation. Like a drug dealer whose clients are going clean! -
So, still buy American or outsource?

Just tried it without meditating and averaged 189 ms (165-202). After 1 hour of zhan zhuang, my speed then decreased to a 197 average, lol..

What about hundreds of years ago? Perhaps they evolved past it. If you got massive internal power and are practically invincible standing...then why would you want to go down to the ground anymore? I predict in 50 years as MMA gradually evolves more internally...they will eventually stay standing as well because they can more easily get the job done there. It will then come full circle to CIMA again. It's like chopsticks. Some people wonder why Chinese "never invented" forks & spoons. When in fact they did (& still use them today for soups & serving)...but just eventually switched to using chopsticks to better suit bite-sized food. MMA is just reinventing the wheel here.

Bob Cooley's meridian stretching was developed when he discovered that contracting the muscles (or some might say placing his awareness in them) while he stretched them allowed them to stretch much easier. Later on, he noticed that this type of stretching started clearing his meridians too. So, I think to make yoga work at clearing meridians, you have to make sure you keep your awareness on the meridians being stretched open by each asana. Whereas just doing the postures mindlessly probably won't do anything qi-wise.

There are a few external kung fu guys fighting MMA, but not many.. I personally believe that most CKF is watered down from IMA which was derived from neidan. Which means they are really designed to employ qi moreso than muscular force or even leverage. Problem is, it generally takes thousands of celibate hours to even open your MCO - so most never will. It's just too steep of an initial learning curve. And those who eventually do are usually not interested in proving publically what they already have proven to themselves with any quick "touching of hands." If someone can throw you against the wall with a qi-based 1" punch or their peng structure is so strong you cannot budge them no matter how hard you try - they don't need to engage in a full fight to prove to themselves that their martial ability is much higher.. It would only be to prove it to others and stroke their own egos - which they don't care about. Basically, I think CKF guys tend to fall towards 2 extremes of being either paper tiger pu55ies who can't fight their way out of paper bags (more commonly)...or (more rarely) authentic masters who have nothing more to prove to others what they've already proven to themselves.

It's actually come full circle. This site was originally created as a forum for Healing Tao/Mantak Chia ex-pats. If you read the oldest posts, many of them do center around jing retention & SKF.

I agree that the US was not under direct threat from the NAZIs - who were funded by many Americans, anyways... And actually, since the NAZIs & Commies were enemies - they would have continued neutralizing each other had we not interfered. End result being both less NAZIs & Commies in the world - as opposed to just less NAZIs and a diaperload of Commies left over killing ~120 million worldwide. LOL! "Share?" No, the British ceded that land to Jews who weren't even living there to form their own state - under which the local existing Arabs would then become subjects. And why would they do that? In exchange for them pulling the US into the war to fight on their side against the NAZIs. See the Balfour Declaration made between Britain & Walter Rothschild... Even though they all worship the same God, it is Talmudism that teaches its followers to be distrustful of Christians and Muslims. It is written so in the Talmud. So before you defend these backwards zealots, why don't you go read the Talmud yourself and see what you're defending? Why don't you listen to the Talmudic extremists and hear what they have to say?
-
I agree. Many are well-meaning and wish only to defend our country - a vital duty. Unfortunately, once they join they then become at the complete mercy of our political leadership and must obey their given orders - regardless of if they agree with them or not. The problem is really thus with our leaders (and sheeple who elect them) - not these brave soldiers.

US oil wars are fought to keep oil cheap and priced in USD (to back our fiat currency). Now, cheap oil benefits the US economy since we are a net oil importer. But obviously, it hurts all economies that are net oil exporters (like Canada). In fact, the US's biggest enemies always include those leaders who want to cut back oil production to raise oil prices and/or stop pricing it in USD - like Saddam Hussein (Iraq), Hugo Chávez (Venezuela) & Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (Iran). Sure, they always pretend it's about "human rights" or nukes or some other bogus double-standard - but it's usually always about their oil policy. The irony is that they are trampling all over others' human rights to dictate their own oil policies...
-
Canada exports a lot of oil to the US. So if anything, US oil wars abroad only reduce our dependence on Canadian oil. Which means it lowers the price we pay for it from them. Which means it actually hurts their economy more (not helps it).
-
Actually, both Canada & the US are already naturally defended through geographic isolation. Most wars in the world right now are either internal or border wars. So, both countries are not under constant attack through foreign aggression to begin with. Hence, none of the wars the US has been in for decades or more have been self-defensive. Most were overseas driven by underlying interests & blowback from bad foreign policies - but not defensive per se. As such, they were unnecessary. If the US had fair & smart foreign policy and only focused on actual self-defense - it could save trillions of dollars and spend that money on homeland improvement instead.
-
I agree you need a strong self-defense. However, if the US wasn't constantly subverting other countries, we wouldn't be creating so many enemies that we then need to "defend" against. And most of our maneuvers are not defensive anyways - but highly offensive. For example - look at Canada. They have very little military because they don't continually force hegemonic foreign policy upon others - and thus have little need to maintain extensive global bases or home defense. As a result, they do fairly well economically despite having little industry. The sheer amount of money it takes for the US to maintain its global mafia is astronomical. I heard it takes an average of about $1.1 million to station each single soldier in Iraq for a year. In addition to our welfare state, no damn wonder our country is now bankrupt (and then want to simply scapegoat China for it)!

Hmm, very interesting. Kosta Danaos talked about time passing by quickly and hearing a thundering sound when his awareness shifted down into his dantian... Have you done this yourself?
-
Yeah, all too true - I've come to the same conclusions myself. Seriously, I've met complete "10s" (physically & easily passing your entire checklist) overseas within just a few weeks of traveling who were also into me - than I ever met in over 3 decades of living HERE! So, where is this other forum at...?
-
GREAT LIST! Unfortunately, in the post-feminist "Girls Gone Wild" age - very, very, VERY few American girls would pass that checklist! As in, I don't think I've been able to date one YET who has! Which is probably why I'm still sadly single! In the meantime, I'm just cultivating and trying to remain celibate. It's ok, at least it beats worrying about the inevitable skeleton parade out of the closet whenever I meet someone new these days! Interesting, what area did you finally find one in? Outsourcing here may turn out to be the best option these days.. And you? From my own global travels, it definitely seems as if the Anglosphere is the Ground Zero of feminist dysfunctional behavior. And anywhere outside of that (say EU or Asia) was markedly better.
