Indian military scientists are studying an 82-year-old who claims he has not had any food or drink for 70 years.
gendao replied to Thunder_Gooch's topic in General Discussion
Lol, get real. If the West ever got a hold of this guy, they'd publically claim he's a fraud...while our black military secretly imprisons & studies him until they could determine his secrets for combat applications. -
Well, you can see the steady progression in physiques in different eras as a direct result of increasing doping: 50s - No one really took steroids (other than some experimental Communist weightlifters). 60s - Mainly elite bodybuilders only took some steroids here. 70s - Steroids became more accessible to the forefront of bodybuilding. Physiques look noticeably different after this. 80s - With bulk volume discounts, prices kept dropping & dosages kept rising... 90s - Bodybuilders start taking HGH & insulin too. They get really supersized now, including all their organs. Y2K - Bodybuilders are megadosing cocktails of all these drugs & other supplements as increased volume production lowers prices even more. Doping is becoming mainstream in professional sports now too.

Ken talks about "daigong" here. I'm guessing the Chinese characters may be 代(dai4)工(gong1)? 工(gong1) = "craftwork" or, far more loosely, "power" This is the same "gong" in 工(gong1)夫(fu) or "accomplished ability." Cultivation is typically called 练(lian4)工(gong1). 练(lian4) = practice. So, 练工 = practicing your craft. Anyhow, 代(dai4) = replace Sooo...代工 = replace craftwork...or basically, someone doing the work or substituting power for you (Ken or YMWong can probably give better translations or explanations here, though...) Sounds like an incredible experience to have WLP daigong for you though! I hope to experience that myself one day! Of course, I want to be as ready as I can first so I can fully absorb it. Were most people able to metabolize his high-powered transmission - or did results vary widely? Phowa is also a Tibetan Buddhist form of transmission.

You make a lot of great points. We are bathed in a xenoestrogen soup now. Most pollutants are estrogenic, which have all synergistically combined together to "feminize" the population. This includes plastics, household antibacterials like Triclosan, millions of Pills used by women daily & flushed back into our water supply, unprocessed soy, etc etc. I think the NW0 is also actually doing this on purpose to sterilize men & reduce overpopulation. Well, recent sports doping scandals have shown that athletes are now using a lot more newer performance drugs that weren't available 40 years ago. Back then they basically just had some weak oral steroids. Now they have HGH & a whole host of other substances...that athletes are megadosing in insane stacks now. Then: Now:

Interesting and gritty interview with a Tibetan monk

Got a link to that? This is a great series about Quigley, Rhodes & the NWO agenda underlying collectivism. G. Edward Griffin (author of The Creature from Jekyll Island) talks about them simply taking over groups to control the masses using the herd mentality & peer pressure. And employing all the other textbook NW0 tactics to manipulate public opinion & slowly gain global control. In part 4, he even says: The British Empire's endgame of global domination using secret societies, meetings, & bankers is also explained starting at 7:00 (of part 4). Basically, here's how it works: 1) The secret societies state the aims & give out the orders. 2) Invite-only elite clubs like the CFR take those orders & pass them down to social leaders in all their spheres of influence (government, media, academia). Who then control all the institutions under them using legislation & peer pressure. They pre-write legislation that they then task their members to pass. Obamacare is about 2400 pages long! How the F*** do you think that was written so quickly just "overnight?" Answer: It wasn't. It must have been written over a long span years in advance...and Obama was tasked to sell it to the American sheeple & pass it once he got into office. 3) The 2-party system is a false duality used to divide & conquer the American sheeple. When it comes to the NW0, both stand united against all opposition. 4) True anti-NW0 grass-roots movements like the Ron Paul Revolution, the Tea Party or militias are seen as grave threats to both parties that must either be quickly discredited or hijacked before they gain widespread momentum. -
Kadour Ziani - one of the world's foremost dunkers with a 56" vertical...says he only does bodyweight exercises & stretches 4 HOURS per day!!! Maybe it was autosuggestion from reading this thread yesterday, but I thought I felt a sacral pumping while I was sitting in half-lotus this morning. It caused a very slight, gentle (forwards & back) rocking with a very light "pumping" action. Which I don't think was my heartbeat. Anyhow, I want to try some craniosacral therapy now! So, you can see how misalignment in your pelvis...can impede your sacral pumping...depriving your brain of CSF...which can then cause bodily dysfunctions anywhere else in your body. And by the same token, cranial misalignments can also cause the same problems in the reverse direction. It thus makes sense why Eastern alchemy would focus heavily on opening the kua & also later, the cranial sutures (phowa).

Excellent find, thanks! Let's spread the word out to environmental groups & politicians! Raise the flag on this! Think about it - we could kill 2 birds with 1 stone here. Get rid of toxic plastic while relieving dependency on foreign oil or risky offshore drilling at the same time! This is a real win-win, FOLKS! All these disposable plastic grocery bags & water bottles are CHOKING Mother Earth! It's saddening...and just keeps getting worse everyday! We must start curbing & stop this! We spend more money fighting Iraqis, Arabs & "Osama bin Laden" than cleaning up this TRUE weapon of mass destruction! What a f'n joke!

Can you link that set, please? I didn't seem to see it here?

Well, I think women tend to gravitate towards cardio or flexibility exercises because they want to get lithe & toned, not big & bulky. Gym yoga is not very explicitly spiritual - and many just do it primarily as a stretching routine. Similarly, aerobics classes are also about 95% women - by the same token. So, I don't think these are good examples demonstrating "emotional maturity" - but moreso of gender preferences in physiques. You are correct in that our data pool is very skewed by our fringe interest, though. However, the point remains that if men really emotionally matured slower...then why are so many women here dating younger men? If a man their same age is less mature, then an even younger man would be even MORE immature! So, either all these women here prefer babysitting far more immature boys...or men emotionally mature FASTER than women. Do you really think it's the former, instead??? Was I giving women too much credit here?

Some of the initial, signifcant alchemical milestones include: - Opening your microcosmic orbit (xiao zhou tian/small universe/small heavenly circulation). - Awakening your kundalini (chong mai). - Opening your macrocosmic orbit (da zhou tian/big universe/great heavenly circulation). If so, what methods did you use, how long did it take (days & hours) and in what sequence did these occur? How do you know you really opened them (what confirmatory signs or experiences)? And how has each changed your life or being?

Wow, just got an email linking this video. Talk about synchronicity! This video sums up the whole toxic intersection of water, politics & plastic pollution in...bottled water: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RVrGcWGxQ8g Yet this whole issue gets little airtime. There is no global summit on plastic reduction. No shift towards biodegradable plastics. No proposed plastic tax or credits. No awareness, no concern, no outrage, no action. THIS is why we have to think outside our spoonfed media box, folks!

I find that stretching your kua open & progressing towards full lotus help immensely as cross-training to attaining the optimal zhan zhuang posture. Your kua is typically your largest bottleneck in assuming most stances properly. So far, just based upon my own feeling & conjecture - I'm guessing that in the optimal ZZ stance: Your entire backside (including back of pelvis & heel spacing) flattens & spreads outwards, your arms curl around in front & almost back in towards your centerline. Sort of like a scroll. The outer edges of your feet run straight forward so that you are just slightly pigeon-toed. Feel your weight running down the backside of your pelvis & transferring from your sitz bones to the tops of your femurs. All of this would match your back's expansive yang & front's inward yin natures. Your back expands out to infinity...while your front absorbs inward like a black hole. In ZZ, you can do both simultaneously! Isn't that amazing genius?! Then keep relaxing, opening, feeling, aligning, etc... The second bottleneck I probably need to work on though is my...actual neck. I still need to figure out a good straightening stretch for that.

I agree. Isn't spirituality about expanding your viewpoint...not shirking responsibility or escapism? As the Zen saying goes: Before Enlightenment, chop wood carry water. After Enlightenment, chop wood carry water. Where is the drudgery? In the task at hand...or in your mind? BTW, I'm not saying not to go off and become a wizard or healer if that is your path. I know some people who did that and are very successful at it too. My point is that if you can't reach that point yet, make whatever you can do in the meantime as "spiritual" and enjoyable as you can. Try redefining your work, instead of letting it define you.

Cool animation dude! Yea, sitting meditation has really helped open & increase my awareness of my whole kua (pelvis). Which I think is the point of sitting meditation because it is such a big & key junction in the body. This is about as "core" as it gets! The spine joins into it at the sacroiliac joint & the femurs join in by the sitz bones. Powerful ligaments tie in here & it normally gets very tight & fused up. As a result, it takes a lot of time & effort to open it up. But continued practice allows you to slowly stretch it open & find the proper micro-alignments most conducive to better qi flow. You are basically realigning yourself at your core's core here. For example, my pelvis has been tilted back on one side & I'm at the point now where I can feel the extra soreness & strain from my hamstring attachment there - because it is getting stretched farther due to the tilt. I'm hoping that this will actually realign my pelvis & pull it back into place, though. So, we'll see...

Exactly! Not to mention our welfare state that also provides & cuckolds for single moms now too. So, beta male providers are becoming obsolete as "necessities" & replaced by recreational alpha male boy toys as luxuries. The rules have officially changed over the last generation... Unfortunately, beta males driven to provide for sex...is what builds civilization. If you take away that motivation, civilization falls apart because alpha male studs don't have to do much to get laid & breed rampantly. In fact, they tend to drain society with poor lifestyles & illicit behavior. On a micro scale, this is what forms urban ghettos. Which we're also seeing at large in our collapsing nation today. What's actually happening now is a perfect storm brewing that will hit our children & grandchildren like an asteroid. You combine family breakdown, beta male disenfranchisement, more Socialist entitlements, plastic pollution, GMO crops, spiraling debt, NW0, global warming, rapidly shifting demographics, etc...our irresponsibility now is leaving them a shameful inheritance of less than nothing. But sorry, I digress... Sexual kung fu.

Exactly. In addition, look at the high number of older female/younger male couples here. All of this debunks the unsubstantiated claim that "women emotionally mature faster than men." When obviously, more men have to seek older women to find equivalent maturity. We could start polls for age ranges of male & female posters here...but when women make up their minds to rationalize emotional preferences - facts aren't going to change them. They will just keep moving the goalposts back everytime you kick a field goal. I see that game already happening here...so it's not worth jumping through hoops when you can never win. cat & RV - 2nd-wave feminists are the ones who fought for the sexual revolution - that heated up the sexual arms race amongst both genders. So by the same token, men are also being judged now for their abs & eggbeaters like supersized porn stars. Also, in reality, most of the discussion here revolves around health, spirituality & qigong methods. Not SKF.

Most cultures don't encourage a non-productive model of existence because they don't work. If no one does any work, nothing gets done. If nothing gets done, you don't have much of a culture. But as long as you can remain self-reliant, that's enough. I know a few New Age people who are "too spiritual" (ungrounded) to work. Funny how they all have no problem living off handouts (inheritance, sponsorships, etc) from those who do actual work though. In short, all they did was pass the buck & hard work to others. Not a sustainable societal model. I believe Wang Liping trained while still working as a factory worker. So, operating in the mundane world and spiritual realm are not mutually-exclusive. In fact, integrating & balancing the 2 is a "spiritual" challenge in itself. Hence, in Zen monasteries, they make the most mundane acts "spiritual." If you can make sweeping a floor "spiritual," why not accounting or fixing a car too?

Related comments reposted from here. These are all hallmarks of NW0 strongarming. - Using Stalinist tactics to forcibly silence democratic dissent - Selective mass media coverage that omits or downplays public protests (these protests & global police brutality get scant or no coverage here) - Camouflaging their dirty agendas behind Orwellian Doublespeak (like subsidizing GMO monocultures under the guise of "fighting global warming") - Exploiting & hurting the people they're claiming to help - Using tight deadlines to rush volumnous legislation through to sidestep democratic due process & thorough analysis (like Pelosicare) Again, people need to really distinguish between true grassroots movements by the people & banker-funded ones forced upon the people. The difference can be in hundreds of millions of lives. They also need to read behind the corporate headlines & between the lines to uncover the real story. With the internet & fingertip access to info, there is little excuse to be intellectually lazy anymore. Don't be blindly supporting banker-backed Trojan Horse causes like some naive, pot-smoking college hippy. Make sure you know what you're actually supporting before you toss your hat in their ring. I've also thought about the holographic Feng Shui relationship between global warming and too much yang fire in many of our bodies... Well, I don't deny climate change and there probably is global warming...but people shouldn't support the hijacking & exploitation of this by NW0 interests to further their own agenda. Which, as was explained above, contains a lot of ecologically-harmful provisions. These causes need to be defined & fought on our own grassroots terms. Just like these activists are trying to do. *applause* BTW, in all the media hype over climate change, where's the concern over our growing plastic pollution problem? Giant plastic gyres are now forming in all our oceans...and no one seems to give a damn about it. Because if a tree falls in the forest & the mass media doesn't report it...then it "didn't happen?" My point here is how the mass media purposely frames our worldview...and to see the actual holistic reality - we need to consciously look outside that media-defined box..

Woaa, this ginormous crystal feels VERY powerful to me even over the internet. The giant amethyst, not really for some reason.. Anyone else pick up the same feelings? Anyhow, life is about balance. Between needs & wants, sacrifices & rewards, dreams & reality, spiritual realms & mundane grounding, etc. Although in truth, everything is part of the spiritual path - especially our daily lives & challenges. I suggest you find some older mentors & role models who inspire you. That will help give you some guidance on your future goals..

WTF??? How can used dealers be selling this for $65, when you can get a new one for $12 there?? I'm ordering this. But before I do, any other good suggestions on that site that I might want to get while I'm at it? THANKS SCOTTY, U DA MAN!!!! *humbly bows down*

I agree, I believe it will all feel very subtle at first...because we are working with energies & xiantian potentials unmanifest yet in spacetime. Although the more you practice & sensitive you become, the less subtle these things become to you as well. After months of practice, it seems like I am starting to feel this stuff more in myself & the environment around me now.* And noticing how tiny mental or physical microadjustments can make noticeable differences. This customized internal stuff would be hard to get from a book or even a teacher. It's probably best gotten through long personal experience.. I read somewhere once that qigong is like building a skyscraper by stacking paper up 1 sheet at a time. That was a very futile thought at the time, but I think it may be right. & Thanks! Tao of Health, Longevity, and Immortality: The Teachings of Immortals Chung and Lu sounds great, but it is unfortunately currently out-of-print. Maybe I can contact Eva Wong or Shambhala Publications to reprint it? Cuz if the cheapest used copies are $65, there's obviously a strong demand out there for this! Anyone have Eva's contact info? * Has anyone tried feeling ley lines, vortices or power spots around in their local surroundings? I found one place recently on a local campus that seems to be a "power spot." I can just stand there and immediately relax into pleasurable stillness & feel like I'm plugging into an outlet in the ground as I resonate with a flow of energy through me. Maybe I'm imagining things here, but it feels like that. Anybody else wanna try this and add some feedback here?

1) False. Just look at the demographics of this spiritually-oriented site. There's a lot more younger men than young women (are there even any of those here?). This also accounts for the recent rise in cougar/boy toy pairings. Young men must often date older women now if they want to find partners of similar maturity. Whereas younger women tend to act like ADD frat boys on crack these days (see Lindsay Lohan & Britney Spears). 2) Women's fertility peaks in their early 20s and their window shuts around their 40s. It comes to a full close with menopause in their 50s. Men will also see a steady decline in vitality, but there is no hard line drawn for them like menopause. This is why traditionally, younger women have been more prized than younger men - due to biological realities. That said, looks & sex appeal will trump age when it comes to short term hook-ups...so if he or she looks or "acts" good, age doesn't really matter...
-
I agree. Centralization of power is half the battle to despotism. Sure, you can get a lot more done with a few quick keystrokes or button pushes that way...but isn't that the biggest danger? In the wrong hands (and how many politicians who seek such lofty positions actually have good hands?)...that type of "godlike" pushbutton power can be devastating. If this were truly a transparent, grassroots movement for a NW0, I might be less concerned. But it's been a multigenerational banker & secret society-run black op spanning decades or centuries now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7nD7dbkkBIA Aaron Russo is now dead, btw. "Funny" how that conveniently happens to credible, high-profile whistleblowers on the NW0..
-
Very interesting. That is definitely TCM symptomatic of too much fire & yang. I definitely have suffered this problem in my beginning qigong practice...which I believe I'm correcting now. Here's an interesting blurb on the central importance of the chong mai & balancing fire & water neidan methods: I wonder if this might be why many qi masters seem to die at a young age...while others seem to slow aging and live really long? A lot of it might depend upon the TYPES of qigong they practice and the balance they've struck between fast fire & cool water...

The Amish are paragons of Old World conservatism. Their lifestyles actually embody many of the aspects idealized by some in this thread. (Which ironically, our culture may slowly be coming back full-circle to again after sliding into the abyss off the slippery slope of liberalism.) They get up at 4 AM! They maintain close-knit family ties & community They run small, local Mom & Pop stores where the whole family pitches in together They enjoy their work & lead with humility They don't watch TV (mass propaganda) They live off-grid on self-sustainable farms They rely upon a good old-fashioned work ethic, not government welfare 5 year success rate for new American businesses: 37% to 50% 5 year success rate for new Amish businesses: 95% Like cultivation, I think in the end results (gong fu) still boil down to diligent time & sincere effort. Liberal red herrings like "diversity" are simply not going to compensate for this foundation, if it is missing. I mean, the Amish are about as undiverse as you can get - yet their new businesses have a 95% success rate! These people have low crime, healthy lifestyles, small carbon footprints & entrepreneurial success. Isn't this what "progressive" politics is supposed to be promoting? So, why aren't they upheld as a model lifestyle for mainstream Americans to follow? Don't they represent the real changes that we need to make to get ourselves out of debt & back on track? Getting back to our roots as humans? But instead, they get marginalized as a bunch of wacky oddballs...as we keep looking for quick fixes, wealth redistribution, financial shell games & magic bullets to solve our own self-destructive choices & pop culture. It's like a vicious, downward spiral...that we refuse to reverse course in.
