Books, internet and videos can only do so much. Find someone who has achieved what you want and ask them how they did it... and then shut up and listen... If they tell you something you don't like or understand, don't argue with them. Meditate on what they said and have patience...When it comes to magical abilities, it demands subtlety, detachment, persistence and patience, traits you are not exhibiting right now. Ya Mu was also spot on. If you could learn to transmit energy to others through healing arts, you will know how to create magic. It is the exact same process. Energy Healing teaches you to focus your intent on a specific target. If you can do that, you can do any other kind of magic. Earlier, you made a comment about marijuana. Assuming that means you currently smoke weed... Stop! Weed will kill any magical abilities. It sucks all the power out of you and dulls your intent and creates attachment. Weed destroys the ingredients in Stig's equation. So, if you really want to learn energy magic,you are going to have to choose between Weed and Magic. Can't have both. If I misread that statement and you don't smoke weed, then never mind...

Are you closing down thoroughly? It is important to make sure you close the channels after opening them and ground your energy in the lower tan tien before going back to "normal" life. If that is not the problem, then it would be beneficial to journal or talk with someone about boundary issues. If someone has latent issues maintaining their own boundaries, then it is more likely that such a person could unconsciously give away their energy or allow others to take it from them after qigong. That would explain why people seeming run down take your energy. That's all I can think of...

Sloppy, Go back and re-read what I said... slowly. I never told you not to go after it. I said, I did the same thing as you and found what I was looking for and found that it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. I have seen others find these abilities and some have gone crazy and others developed other serious emotional complexes. Here is a fact: If you do not enjoy your life now... You will enjoy it even less after you get these things.You will still be human after you get them. You still have to deal with your human baggage, and possibly add some more to the mix. Others are also telling you exactly how to get what you want. You just don't like what they are saying. and the fact is you are too emotionally attached to the outcome because you are seeking to escape your present state of "Life sucking". In your current state of mind, even if someone gave you the exact techniques for the abilities you want, you would have a very difficult time obtaining abilities because you want it too much. Having said that, I will tell how exactly how to get what you want. This is a technique and it works everytime. You can choose to do it or not, believe me or not, I don't care. Here is the technique: Meditate and ask for them and ask why you don't have them. Then let it go completely and keep your eyes open. If you stay detached, you WILL find it or it will find you. If, however, you continue to project that everyone is dicking you around with spiritual platitudes and that life sucks, then you will miss it. Even if it's right in front of you. In the meantime, since you want practical ways to get what you want. Look for practical ways you can begin enjoying your life. Then when your life doesn't suck anymore, you will be able to enjoy your money and magical abilities...

My Friend, the fact that you want them so badly, pushes them farther away. I can tell you from experience, that magical abilities do not bring fulfillment. In fact, In the case of someone who attains them out of need, (which is usually indicated by strong desire) they usually bring even more dissatisfaction and separation from your true self and others. After chasing after these abilities, if you DO find them, you are also faced with the reality that you had them within you the whole time and whatever practice you engage in to release them was merely an illusory frame of reference needed to trick yourself into simply opening your beliefs to allow them to manifest. And, then you may realize that if you had just listened (in meditation), you would not have had to go running after them in the first place. And THEN, you find you have no need to use them at all... But, that is only my limited experience and though I have not experienced the majority of the abilities you describe here, I would be a hypocrite if I did not admit that I once felt exactly as you do now... So, enjoy the ride...

Mewtwo, The answer is YES. Sifus do continue to teach their students after death. You may also be being taught by your Sifu's spiritual guides. It is very easy to connect to your spiritual guides. Simply send out a request for assistance. allow yoruself to stay open to your inspirations. These thoughts will come in through the crown chakra and your third eye. Just be open to learning and explore where your intuitions take you...

This is what I was picking up on. In typical Tao Bums fashion....You really weren't asking me an honest question because you wanted my opinion. Your question was a ruse to lure me into an intellectual debate because you had concluded I was falsely presenting myself as you describe. So, it seems I had reason to be defensive... I do actually have considerable experience in this field. And as I remember it, the original post was asking for opinions based on experience. If however, you do have some experience here, then why don't you simply share your experience instead of try to "discredit" me on the forum. Good question... If that is what works for you, then when you are helping an entity attack victim, you can approach it in that way... IME, Some people need to see the entity as being external at first. Afterwards, they are able to internalize it. Ultimately your or my intellectualized opinion is not what is important. IME working with entity victims, counseling is the defining factor in the healing process if the counselor feels that your approach is better, than that is what they should do. If the original poster has questions he can email me. but -O-, I have no interest in engaging in an intellectual hair splitting session. You are free to opine in whatever direction you like...

Because in cases where it involves another person's projected thought forms, that entity cannot influence the victim without an energetic "hook" which requires an emotional predisposition on the part of the victim. So sometimes it is only the result of the individual projecting their own internal conflicts and other times it is a synergy of two peoples' issues. But, ultimately it does not matter because, the victim has the ability to repel all energetic attacks if they are able to effectively confront their own issues. IME, Most cannot do this without objective counseling.

Yes to all questions. It is not an either or scenario. I used to perform alot of exorcisms. I stopped doing them when I realized that all demonic attacks are always a result of unresolved internal issues. I have never found an entity attack scenario where there were not emotional issues involved. It is a very real scenario. So, you are not imagining it. You are obviously very helpful and any of what you mentioned will help. However, I also recommend professional counseling for you and your partner. In a nutshell, unresolved energetic and emotional trauma, (which includes alcoholism in the family) will open up the aura and attract negative entities and simultaneously, the unresolved emotions are projected as a thought form. So, many times, the individual is manifesting their own internal conflicts. Any postive energy work like prayer, visualization, and loving physical contact will help. But ultimately, the victim needs to address and resolve the underlying emotional and psychological issue or the attacks may continue indefinitely. Also because you are emotionally involved, you are not able to act as her healer or therapist. You are also a factor. Your love and support will help as a secondary measure. But you yourself cannot be the sole means of her support. She needs professional objective counseling. I suggest ritual banishment combined with professional counseling... In my experience this combination always works if the person is committed to the healing process...

What I told you is that according to a grandmaster any legitimate posture will give you everything you need. "Everything" includes all the things you asked about.

What you are doing is a waste of time and dangerous... I don't know if you read this in a book or where you got it. The fact that you are on an internet discussion forum asking about something that should only be learned from a master tells me you are trying to figure something out you read in a book. There is alot of nonsense like this being taught in books ALOT of it. Many of the teachers who once taught this and wrote about are confessing that it is dangerous and do not teach it anymore. By sexually stimulating yourself, you are not stimulating jing or essence, just igniting your sperm. transmuting Jing essence is not done by sexually stimulating yourself. That sperm becomes activated and that is why you want to ejaculate. When done properly, there is not this not this intense sexual desire. The bottom line is that the Fire you are stimulating cannot be used for internal alchemy. But once you stimulate sexual energy, you need to release it or it will sit in you and rot. It will literally burn you from the inside out. If you search this site's archives, you will read about many people who have severely injured themselves with this kind of nonsense. Some people cannot have orgasms or erections any more and no medicine can help them. You're playing with fire literally. What you are doing has nothing whatsoever to do with real taoist cultivation. I suggest stopping this nonsense. Allow your sexuality to be natural or find a qualified teacher who is willing to teach this in person.

After spending a good chunk of my personal office time answering alot of your questions, I told you then and in subsequent emails that I do not speak for Kunlun and I know as little about them as you do. Many people use the Mao Shan name to indicate powerful magic, but it does not necessarily mean the place Mao Shan. Much of what is called Mao Shan is practices that have hijacked the name in order to cash in on the powerful reputation. The teachings of the current Mao Shan monks is considered worthless by other taoist mountains in china. The monks on Mao Shan nowadays are trained in Beijing by communists and were placed on the mountain by the communist gov't. Mao Shan mountain now is like disneyland and is a tourist attraction. The original Shang Ch'ing scrolls were destroyed by the Japanese in WWII. The original Shang Ch'ing Mao Shan sect is virtually dead. The real masters fled the mountain and China before WWII. You may find pieces of the tradition here and there but it is mostly gone. Besides, True Mao Shan is not magic. It is very high level energy work and meditation. Magic is considered to be very low level stuff by the original Mao Shan practitioners and is discouraged. That is what I have heard anyway...

Hey Scotty, I personally am working alot with Runes lately. They are quite powerful and can be used as mantric seed sounds or even silent breaths. I have found that they produce alot of fiery mental, kundalini type energy and are extremely powerful when used in magic or manifesting meditations. So, I would agree that if one does not incorporate grounding techniques or use the Runes wisely they can be dangerous and can leave alot of hot energy stuck in the head. One of the aspects that is glaringly missing in the modern northern practices is the practice of energy grounding. I would agree with Rabbit that if Runes are not used in conjunction with grounding techniques, it could result in imbalance. Ancestral Europeans, however, were much more closely connected to the Earth than we modern folk. And, I am quite sure they had knowledge of energy grounding practices that were lost after Christianity took hold in northern Europe. Scotty, with your knowledge of qigong, I am sure you will be able to effectively ground the Fire energy of the Runes with your earth element practices. Just follow your Rune practices with some grounding work and you should be fine. And, in my experience, when the fire of the Runes is combined with grounding meditation or Qigong, the result is a very comfortable fulfilling sensation that I believe may have been a natural part of the Pre-Christian European lifestyle. The Hopis believe that Europeans are a Fire Element people. So, it is no surprise to me that the Runes are very fiery in nature. My .02 Mike

Hello Bums, I am grateful that some of you are emailing me with questions about my system, but I am still getting questions asking me about other teachers' arts in comparison to mine. I understand that many may have sincere motives, but please remember that it is considered bad manners to ask a teacher about other teachers or their arts. I realize that I have talked about my experiences with other teachers on this forum in the past. But that was the past. If you want to, you are free to search this forum for what I may have said about my past experiences. But I will not answer anything more regarding these questions. I am willing to try and answer questions about my art, (If I can) but most of the other questions I get from new people are... "Can you tell me more about your art?" Honestly, there is nothing more I can say generally about it than what is already on my website and this forum. Questions like "what does the energy feel like?" etc... Well, the only way for you to know is to practice it. Anything I tell you now is pointless. Once you have begun the practices, you will have a much better frame of reference to ask informed questions. Those kinds of questions I like and I am happy to answer those by email... but the other questions like "what more can you tell me?" or How fast will I see results?" or "what kind of powers will I get?" etc... These kinds of questions make me feel like a car salesman and I really don't want to read them. I'm trying to share a very sacred and personal art and it is really no fun when I feel like I am being asked to "close a sale." If you are unsure, you can try the free meditation on the website. I can't make it any easier than that. Outside of that, if you are still interested, get the DVDs. Then you will know if this a good practice for you. If after practicing the exercises and meditations on the DVDs, you want to learn more, you can inquire about a seminar... there is alot more to the art, but I cannot teach them on DVD. The advanced exercises can only be taught in person. Also the martial art is only by invitation after someone has trained with me in person... Lastly, I want to say that if someone is interested in my DVDs because they are looking for superpowers, ( based on some of the questions, this is the feeling I get) then I don't reccomend them in that instance either. this is not a good reason to practice any art. Abilities are fun for a little while, but they will not bring happiness. In fact, supernatural abilites can distract from the true purpose and can bring great misery. Trust me, I've seen it... IME and IMO, the only reason to practice any art is for personal fulfillment, health and spiritual growth. These are the intentions behind my teachings.
