Hi Sloppy, I can relate to your feelings. I have certainly felt that way myself... Being the old fart that I am, I don't really care about "powers" as much as I used to... There are more important things like loving relationships and having fun... I've seen enough people with powers to know that powers don't bring happiness. Anyway.. I digress... So, I was just inserting the traditional Taoist view about spiritual powers... As I see it, "God helps those who help themselves" is pretty close to what I said... All I said was ( according to traditional Taoist propaganda) that whatever powers you receive is based on your destiny... What's interesting to about that idea is that we react to it based on our internal beliefs about ourselves. (Which may be more important than anything else...) If one believes they are destined to receive powers, they will say, "Yeah, that's right, God has destined me for great things." If someone believes that they are not destined for powers, they will say, "Nonsense! I should be able to get whatever I want"...I should also point out that in many of the stories about immortals, some of them never believed they were worthy of powers but the Universe had other plans for them. So,...anyone is just as eligible as anyone else... So, what I hear in what your saying is that in your mind, you have a fear that the Universe will not give you what you want and I hear you saying inside... "It's not fair!" I also want to point out that I disagree with your assumptions that human teachers are miserly holding on to these teachings and keeping them from the rest of us... These teachings are available to anyone who looks for them. We're only taking about natural laws. Right? IMO, If you hold on the idea that you are dependent on humans to teach you, you will be disappointed. However, IME, if you simply begin looking and practicing and experimenting, you may discover something more profound than any living teacher can give... It all starts with our mindset. Maybe starting with the belief that you ARE destined for powers, that may help you find the teachings wherever they may be.... Just a thought... How's that Marble? Is that a little better?...

The one important point that is missing in these discussions about power and how to get it is... all of these disciplines stress that a person is only able to obtain powers based on his/her destiny. There is an understanding that the spiritual powers that be (Gods, immortals etc..) give power to you, you can't reach up and take it. And it can be taken away if it is misused. Another important point to know is that if someone is meant to obtain powers, they do not need a teacher or system to receive it. If it is in one's destiny to receive such powers, the Universe will teach them...So, IMO, the most important lesson in gaining spiritual power is to first seek humility. Then seek to live out your highest destiny and be of service to others, IMO, if one does that.. The Universe will bring you to your teachers. Patience is also a very good trait because you may be being taught right now and have no idea what you are learning. IMO, The immortals and guides are with us all the time teaching and preparing us for our highest destinies. Our cooperation to that ideal should only speed up the process... That's what I've heard anyway...

Granted. Unfortunately, your energy goes to mad scientist in Scotland who has been having difficulty perfecting his doomsday device because of his lack of sleep brought on by his obsessive unwillingess to sleep until he perfects his device. Enlivened by your Tai Ji energy, he is able to finally add the finishing touches to his explosive device. Satisfied at finally achieving his goal, he takes a well needed nap and when he awakens, he will destroy the world. I wish I had more time and dedication for cultivation...

I have gotten a couple of questions stemming from the Kunlun Demons thread about contacting and listening to one's higher guides. I am in no way the ultimate authority on this subject. So, it would be great to get other peoples' feedback on their methods of contacting, listening or attracting teachers in the spiritual realm... Here are a couple of questions... Well, I am learning also... Before I do any of my practice, I try to remember to send out a prayer that says something like... "I call on all guides and ascended masters that are destined to work with me. Protect me and guide me in my practice." Then I follow my intuition and just flow with what comes to me. I always keep an open mind. I don't expect anything to happen. Sometimes something will come to me that seems like just my mind... but I try to make no judgements. early on in my practice I had some very intense spiritual experiences, but I don't always trust them, so I asked my guides to be more subtle with me and to verify all the intuitions and messages they gave me in the real world. So one thing I do is to listen to everything around me, because I find my guides will teach me through all avenues of information around me. That includes conversations with people, dreams, books, TV, this forum etc... I always keep an attitude that it may mean nothing and it may mean everything. But, I don't discard anything and wait to see it verified before I accept it. Some of the meditations I teach were imparted to me by my guides, but before I teach it, I practice it thoroughly and then research everything I can about it. If I find multiple sources of verification (including my own experience) then I teach it. So, for me, I just take it as though my teachers are there trying to speak to me, I just need to listen and put myself in their shoes, ( if I were a spirit trying to teach someone, how could I best communicate with them?) So, in short, I don't have THE answer for you. We are all different.. The main thing is sincerity, courage, common sense and trust. It may take time. It is a relationship after all. What we can do is learn to listen in prayer, meditation and listen to our intuition and learn to distinguish between what is just our minds and what is our guides. It takes time. Here is an excerpt from the kunlun demons thread that I wrote which sparked some questions, Any other TTB's with experience, please share... Mike

Thanks to all who have emailed me about the level II DVD. Sorry for the delay. I am in the final stages of editing. I should have it finished in the next week or 2. New exercises on the DVD include... Deeper levels of the Activation posture which will help activate, open channels and direct Qi through the palms for healing and Martial Applications... Level II Yin Yang hands. This short form is the basis of all Shang Ch'ing energy work, spiritual philosophy and internal martial arts. Everything else in the Shang Ch'ing system is to help you understand the Yin Yang Hands form. If you can master this simple form, you will master all of Shang Ch'ing energy work... Level II Earth Meditation and Healing breath. In level I, I taught you the Earth Meditation for grounding and healing. In level II, I go into more depth of the breath and visualization. This meditation and breath is very good for grounding the energy and can be used to help heal any energy imbalance. In Level II, I go into depth of the "Earth Breath" The Earth Breath is one of the "Six Healing Sounds" taught by many Taoist sects and energy methods. This breathing method was written about in the 5th century A.D. by a Shang Ch'ing Master named Tao Hong Jing who is well known as one of the patriarchs of Taoist Healing. What many don't know is that the Six healing sounds were originally taught as silent breaths. IME, the most powerful healing from using these sounds is to do them silently and slowly... In level II Earth Meditation, I go into more depth about this powerful sound for healing, meditation and internal alchemy... North Star -Heaven/Earth Qigong Meditation. This is a powerful healing meditation that connects The Power of The North Star to the Power of Earth through the central channel of the body. In this meditation, we learn to connect the macrocosm of the outer universe to the microcosm of the inner Universe within the body. The North star is used in meditation to help guide the Soul to it's highest destiny. Just as travelers for thousands of years have used the North Star to guide them on their journeys, so can we use the power of the North Star to guide us in our spiritual journey. The North Star is considered to be the Gateway to the Heavenly Realms. By connecting the North Star to the Earth through our central channel, we allow these two powers to nourish and empower each other. In exchange, the powers of Earth and Heaven nourish us and heal us. Through this qigong meditation, we complete the taoist trinity of "Tien Di Sun" Heaven, Earth and Spirit... This is a meditation that I myself practice daily and is a foundation exercise for me, personally... Sorry for the delay... For those wishing to reserve a copy or those with sincere questions about the practice.. please email me info@spirittao.com

I am baffled that no one on this forum has been more direct with you... Non, You are not being targeted by any evil force, nor is the government tracking your thoughts. You are no more important than anyone else on the planet. Having ideas and knowing things are not a threat to anyone. This is a fantasy. Your feelings are very extreme and not in line with reality. You need professional psychiatric help. Especially if you are having suicidal thoughts. Talking to faceless people on the internet is only going to increase your sense of isolation. You need real interaction with a flesh and blood professional therapist. No one is going to be able to give you any real meaningful help on this or any other forum. You sound very paranoid and delusional to me and I fear you may be a danger to yourself or possibly others... Seriously dude, get off the computer and get some real help....

Question on breath control technique
fiveelementtao replied to Stigweard's topic in General Discussion
In the kundalini yoga I practiced, the breath ratio of 1:4:2 is used in the "Nadi cleansing breath" which is used to breathe alternately through each nostril. It opens the right and left channels of the body, balances and purifies the body and the meridians... Close right nostril...Inhale through left nostril 10 seconds. Hold 40 seconds. close off left nostril and exhale out of right nostril for 20 seconds. repeat. It is "very purifying and cleansing." This is a basic yogic pranayama (Chi Kung) practice in Hatha and Kundalini yoga. I used to practice this everyday. It was a staple practice for me for a long time. It IS very healing and cleansing and does great things for the energy body. This breath ratio may also be in other exercises, but this was how I was taught to use this breath... to answer his question in this particular exercise the ratio is essential and so is the method... P.S. Anyone interested in trying this breath... please seek out a qualified teacher. There is a technique, posture and method for holding the breath. It should be noted that holding the breath improperly can result in injury. I'm sure any yoga instructor worth their salt can teach this breath.... -
How to Contact The Ascended Masters
fiveelementtao replied to fiveelementtao's topic in General Discussion
I've had similar scenarios in dreams where I believe that masters have masqueraded as someone I would trust and recognize in order to teach me... In my warrior cautious nature, I have numerous times chased off a master... I only hope they are patient with me.... It can be confusing sometimes knowing who's who.... Sounds like you handled it well though... IME, if you confront a spirit, it will eventually show it's true colors whether trustworthy or not... It can be scary sometimes. Sometimes the very advanced ones can be scary... So, I relate to your post.... I'm still learning too... -
Mantras - Please share your insight, experience etc.
fiveelementtao replied to heavenlygong's topic in General Discussion
Yes indeed! as well as with some Sikh and Sufis. For them it is the Name of God. In Egypt it was considered the breath of Atum fertilizing Creation. Hu is the sound of Spirit descending to matter... Shiva fertilizing Shakti.. That is why it is the Earth sound. It is Spirit descending to Earth. It is the breath of the avatar, it is the breath of Shiva. I learned 4 different syllables to put at the end of the sound which changes the effect and opens different centers. Hu is one of my all time favorites. It is a gateway to transformation and enlightenment... IME anyway.... -
Mantras - Please share your insight, experience etc.

Well, I was a tantric. So, that makes sense to me...If you are adverse to tantric understanding, you may have a different opinion than I do... I was asked to share my opinion. So, I did.... I agree with you that all general mantras are safe. The deeper one gets into the more esoteric mantras, the more information one needs in order to best utilize them. For scriptural references, I would direct you to the gentleman I previously mentioned. He is the expert in that regard. He has a very informative website with alot of info. www.shrifreedom.org He gave me mantras from the rg veda specifically for the moon and the sun. Which I still use on occasion. But, I am not a yogic scholar. I am simply sharing what I was taught and what was my experience. tantric astrology is about understanding the karma you brought with you. Understanding the planets in one's chart helps one to find paths that best work through their karma. This includes mantras. They are very powerful tools. There is no reason in my opinion not to explore all the tools available to use... Exploring my vedic chart was very helpful to me. It may also be to others. My brother Vaj is right. all of these are very helpful in getting the most out of mantra work. Also knowing where to place the sound is helpful... -

Mantras - Please share your insight, experience etc.
fiveelementtao replied to heavenlygong's topic in General Discussion
Well, I can only speak for the mantras I was taught by a Mao Shan teacher of mine. and I can't speak for every teacher.... Different teachers teach different things... So it is possible there are others I don't know about. I have been taught a couple sanskrit seed mantras from Mao Shan masters... specifically: Hreem (heart), Huu and Hoong. These are very standard Sanskrit seed mantras used in both Tibetan and Hindu sanskrit mantras, so one could safely assume that OM has a place in Mao Shan too. I was taught a specific mudra for the Hreem mantra and the Hoom mantra... -

I don't know enough about Buddhism to say. Buddhist mantras are also sanskrit and are very powerful it is best to get empowerment from a qualified teacher. The problem in Hindu sanskrit mantras in the context I was referring to is that mantras also activate certain planets. If you have "bad" planet that you are unaware of, by picking a mantra that is not best for your horoscope, you could be activating a planetary influence that might actually make aspects of your life more difficult... So, without the guidance of a good teacher, it's best to pick one of the "all purpose" mantras... -
Mantras - Please share your insight, experience etc.
fiveelementtao replied to heavenlygong's topic in General Discussion
The Yoga master I studied with also had a similar philosophy about mantra being superior to just watching breath. The idea is that the mantra neutralizes the monkey mind and imprints the vibration onto the subconscious. There are different types of mantras. Some are deity mantras, some are for opening certain centers and meridians, some are "siddhi" mantras. There are so many and each school has different mantras for different purposes. Some mantras are all purpose mantras than anyone can benefit from. Om Namah Shivaya is a good example. Other mantras are very specific and very powerful and should not be undertaken without proper guidance... There are three ways to chant mantras: Out loud, whispered and silently. Out loud fills the body and aura with the mantra's vibration, whispered fills the mental realms, silently is said to be the most powerful unting the mind with Infinity... I have used mantra as my main spiritual discipline in the past. Not all mantras are equal. The tantric mantras can be so powerful and specific that if you are not suited for it, the mantra can actually be harmful. A very good way to find out which mantra is best is to get an astrological reading with someone who knows the astrological properties of mantras. I someone just chooses a mantra because they think they want to connect with such and such deity or wants such and such siddhi, they can really mess themselves up, because sanskrit mantras also have a very specific connection to one's astrology. There is a guy on the web who is very good and can help link one with their astrological deities and help determine which mantras can help connect you to your highest destiny and overcome karmic issues. His name is Freedom Cole. I think his site is http://www.shrifreedom.org I used him a couple times when I was deep into yoga and it was very helpful. He really understands sanskrit mantra and is quite an accomplished yogi. -
Yes. It is part of any spiritual discipline. The whole point is for us to face our limitations, karma, demons etc... The fun, tingly energy high we get is to motivate us to continue. The good feelings are the reward the Universe gives us for making the sacrifice of personal growth. Our sacrifice of self-improvement nourishes the whole Universe...

Well, I am still learning myself. I will share what they have told me...My experience is twofold: 1) They still have their own personalities. So, just like with people on Earth, some people get along better than others. ( I agree with Witch here... find the guides that best suit your temperment.) Some are ascended masters, yes, but there is still a hierarchy and they are still learning. Some of these masters are still working their karma out and part of that is to teach us down here. So, they are still figuring out how best to communicate. Part of what happens is when we practice the art, it sends out a frequency that they can all sense. If someone is brand new to the practice, a bunch of masters will come and see who it is... 2), Remember, originally on the mountain, when someone was initiated, there was a ceremony in the temple to alert the ascended masters that someone was being initiated. so, they had foreknowledge of who was learning what...Nowadays, people learn this stuff in a seminar or from a book. They don't have a flesh and blood teacher to explain the process to them, so alot of newbies have NO idea how to even listen to them. So, maybe some of these immortals are doing whatever they have to in order to get our attention! So, my intuition tells me that they are scrambling around trying to see who is doing this stuff and scrambling to decide who should train who etc.... They are just as confused as we are... Maybe more because they can see us down here with our heads in our butts playing around with this very powerful stuff. It must be very frustrating for them. I have found that it is best to treat them like people. Understand that they have limitations. Treat with respect and have an attitude of sincerity and a desire to learn. We need to make an effort to be good students. If we don't listen, they can't help us...What I have been told is this: There is a MAJOR restructuring of spiritual knowledge going on. Down here AND up there... The immortals are downloading new info to us at an unprecedented rate (even for them) and new supplemental info to go along with the traditional material. EVERYTHING is changing. The immortals are having to learn during this restructuring as much as we are. So, it's important to give them some slack. There are alot of immortals who lived during very different times and are having some difficulty accepting our modern ways and how easily and quickly some of this information is being handed out. Some are very conservative. They have to still go to THEIR higher guides and teachers to learn how to best teach us modern nutjobs... Eventually this transition period will smooth out, but for now, we all (human and immortal alike) have to be patient with each other until a new protocol is firmly in place. Yes. But it helps if you have made a serious effort to ask for guides and teachers to be assigned to you. If you haven't made an effort to ask for help, they may not know if they should intrude. They are trying to be polite and give us our space. Altars are good for this, because it lets them know you want them around. good question. I'm not sure. best to ask for help and guidance, otherwise I assume those that don't ask will be last in line... Breathe... Ask for help in prayer, follow the intuition that comes... Blessings and strength, Mike

Valid question... because I have experienced both types of spirits. Human projections are still in a living body and as such are still connected to the Source. A human spirit (from a living person) would not have had that kind of reaction to me. I think the spirit following my friend was a ghost or possibly a low level demon... In terms of live people projecting their own spirit... I think you greatly overestimate people's powers. Very few people have the power to consciously project their own spirit. Some people do it in their sleep, (mostly by accident) but they are easy to spot. I have run into peoples' projections before. I know what that feels like. I have also experienced ghosts and I have experienced demons. I have also experienced immortals, deities and angels. They each have a different feel. Demons are definitely not human. Demons don't like to be seen in their true form. They masquerade as ghosts many times. Or whatever, you want them to be. ( that is why I have tried numerous times to advise you against your "thoughtform" that used to "dress up" for you. That is textbook demon stuff.) Many times a demon will capture ghosts and use them as human shields. I have experienced this many times. I have seen this in possession cases. A strong demon will surround him/herself with weaker spirits and during the exorcism, he will throw out lesser spirits in an attempt to fool the exorcist into thinking they have succeeded. When you get to the last and most powerful one, they put up a huge fight. That's when you see exorcist movie type of stuff. I once watched a guy's face completely transform into a demon. I can promise you that was NOT a human spirit. I can't speak for Taomeow. But I think you are taking her out of context or in a limited context. I'm not saying that people can't use the energy from Kunlun to contact spirits. I'm saying that is not it's primary purpose. and if that is what people use Kunlun for, they will basically get nowhere. It is a petty distraction at best. and if people are having major entity problems from kunlun, then they are focusing too much on the spontaneous practice and red pheonix, possibly using them like drugs and not doing the other exercises which are essential for strengthening the nervous system in order to be able to handle the power of the spontaneous and RP. If people are having spirit problems from kunlun, it means they are in over their head and spirits sense this and are coming in for the free lunch... My apologies. That's not what you said, silly girl... No, I had no intention of fighting you. I have very strict instructions from my guides that I cannot under any circumstances use this stuff to harm any living person unless they are intent on harming me. Spirits are another matter. Any earthbound spirit (ghosts and demons) that is causing mischief is fair game. They have no business being in our world. But, they usually give me a wide berth... IME, Guides, deities and immortals are not intrusive and only manifest to the extent you are comfortable. BUt I have learned with some immortals that you need to tell them to what degree you want them to manifest. Sometimes if one isn't clear about how they want to interact with them, they can just drive up on you and teach you. This is what happened the first time an immortal appeared to me. She scared the crap out of me. I since made it clear that they need to be subtler with me. Now the immortals don't drive up on me anymore and I have to ask for their guidance and they are gentler with me. To my Kunlun brothers and sisters... This is another important point for kunluners... Witch is partly right about our practice. Part of the process is to connect you to immortals and deities of the tradition. BUT not just any old spirits running around the ethers looking for a date... It is important to understand that until very recently the practices in Kunlun were only given out to high level initiates in a monastic order. When you practice these exercises, it gets the attention of all different types of spirits. If you are not clear or serious, lower level spirits will come to test you, because they don't like the energy these exercises create. They will try and scare you away from the practice. this is what happens to those who abuse the art and use it like a drug or a party favor. Have respect for this practice or please don't do it. (for your own safety). If someone is clear and projects a serious attitude about the practice, this will attract immortals from the tradition. Now bear in mind; these immortals don't know that you're just some guy or girl off the street with little or no spiritual experience. They assume you are an initiate in temple or something. So, they expect you to know what you are getting into and they will appear to you thinking that you know they are coming. So, if an immortal appears to you and they are scaring you, you need to tell them that you are new to this practice and need them to treat you gently. If a low level spirit appears to you, you need to forcefully tell them to leave. If you are unsure about the nature of the spirit. Ask it who it is. It is also very important to connect with your guides and protectors before practicing your kunlun, so that your guides can protect you while you are practicing. Remember that immortals and deities do not sense time like we do. To them, a few hundred years can go by in a second. So, they do not understand that you are a dumb westerner who lives in a modern materialistic world who is just trying out some new "energy practice". They think you are a monk or a nun still living in medieval times and are used to this sort of thing... Respect the art, respect yourself and it will respect you...

It's possible but....The DVDs are not meant to be spirit fighting training vids. It would be very irresponsible to say "yes" without knowing more about your situation. The practices do have the same energetic vibration as the spirit fighting, however... that should not be the main reason for buying my DVDs. That is not their primary purpose. I only teach the spirit fighting in person. Much of the exercises in the DVD are derived from the Spirit Fighting, but the main thrust of the DVD is teaching an intro to Shang Ch'ing Qigong, Nei Kung and meditation. They are a great starting point for someone interested in experiencing the feel of the Spirit fighting energy. the exercises can certainly help in protecting and strengthening the aura.... So, I can't make any guarantees. But, if you are having a serious problem with entities, I would need to speak to you on the phone or in a consultation session to best know what your situation is and what to recommend. I strongly urge you to get serious about the problem and find help whether it is a priest or whomever...There are many factors involved in entity problems and it is possible that if you are not clear on what you are doing, you may just piss them off. Are you a kunlun student? PM me if you are interested in a phone consult...

In your opinion based on your experience limited to your practice. Others of us have very different experiences. So either there are other possibilities, or the rest of us are just idiots and only you know all there is to know about the spirit world... You don't strike me as that arrogant. It may very well be that your only experience of spirits is of disembodied ones or of "thought forms"., but that doesn't mean that is all there is out there... And since, as you admit, that you have not practiced many of the disciplines in taoism, you have no real experience to make blanket conclusions about the nature of spirits in other traditions... So how can you possibly know all the other types of spirits that are out there?.. I believe that if you were to find out that you were wrong and that there is an afterlife and ghosts and demons and deities do exist, then you will have to eat your hat, because you will have to confront the possibility that you have been dabbling in some possibly dangerous stuff. So, it's easier to just say, "oh, there all from inside me or some other living person." As a child, I had encounters with spirits like the ones you describe, but since practicing spirit fighting, my experiences with spirits are very different. The spirits that I work with now are of a much higher plane. They are definitely higher beings from a higher dimension whose only agenda is to empower me and only if I seek their help. There is no exchange. The only requirement is that I use their knowledge in an altruistic way to help myself and others. Many years ago, I was with a friend of mine who was lying down with her eyes closed. we were waiting for a yoga class to start. As a warm up, I did a couple of spirit fighting mudras to get my energy going, She bolted straight up and said, "What are you doing!?" and then went running out of the room. She later told me that she suddenly felt something slice through her. she said the moves I was making felt like they were cutting right through her and her body simply got up without her volition and walked out of the room. This is because she was playing with an entity that was following her around. The room was filled with other people who had no such reaction. You are confusing the personality of some of the kunlun practitioners with the actual practice. Max is not trained in spirit fighting. So, Kunlun has his personality on it, which is one of adventure and playfulness. The practices in Kunlun (except for Yi Gong) were originally also connected to spirit fighting. So, there was a built in safeguard from entity attacks. Most lower disembodied spirits have the same type of reaction to spirit fighters as you did to me,.. they sense the strong presence of the metal element and they run...(disembodied spirits don't like metal) Anyway, Witch, I really do like and respect you and I have no need to argue with you ad infinitum... But I don't like that you are projecting your conclusions of your practice onto a practice that you do not have any real experience in.
-
Hi Witch, My beautiful, smart, powerful sister. Despite my disagreement with you, I actually like and respect you very much. However, I think you are full of crap here and you're projecting your own agenda on this thread. Kunlun is not an entity practice. You do not practice Kunlun and don't know what you're talking about here. You have made an assumption that it is an entity practice because others have had experiences as a result of doing it improperly. I am not anti entity. entity is a very broad term. You are, of course, free to think whatever you want. Your theory, however, is very different from most everyone else's experience and seems to contradict your own experiences that I've read. I think it's your own wishful projection based on your personal agenda... I believe you also believe there is a difference between disembodied spirits and other types of beneficial spirits. This is integral to most practices of witchcraft. (unless you have created your own version of witchcraft with your own beliefs) I believe based on my experience in exorcism for over 30 years that disembodied entities have no business in our world. There are ghosts, (Human spirits who are trapped in their negative feelings and attachments.) They need to be sent back to the Source. By allowing them to stick around, they drain the living. There are Elementals. (Nature Spirits that aren't really involved in the Human realm) There are Demons. (powerful non-human spirits who are also cut off from the Source). They have a very specific agenda and can be very harmful, even deadly. You yourself have experienced these types. There are angels and guides. There are poltergeists which are projections of thought forms. There are also deities. I know you believe in them... so just to classify all spirits as either from your mind or from other people sounds like a very convenient denial mechanism to justify to yourself your personal agenda with spirits... Your using the same justification for minimizing the effects of conjuring spirits as some others do for justifying their drug addiction... Listen, if you want to be a witch ( I'm using your term) who conjures disembodied spirits for your own purposes, go for it. I just don't like that you want to minimize everyone else's experience to fit within your agenda. I think it is irresponsible to tell others that it's ok to do what you do and retrofitting reality in order to justify it. You and I are in agreement on one aspect: Imbalances can attract disembodied entities... But, Witch, honestly, you are being very selective about what facts you want to remember. You have shared numerous times on this board about your very negative experiences and those of your friends with disembodied entities, so to characterize them as neutral things is not accurate even within your own experience. You were on here very recently begging for peoples help to banish some very nasty spirits from your friend. How neutral was that experience? My feeling has always been since the first post of yours that I read that you are addicted to entities because you are avoiding real intimacy with people. When confronted with this back then you admitted to me that you didn't want to have a real relationship with a man because you didn't want to get hurt. It's plain as day. Whenever you talk about spirits, you use the example of dating or sex. It's clearly very sexual for you.

Hi Harold, In college I worked as a chemical dependency counselor at a hospital treatment center. So, I understand your predicament... Especially the Jekyll and Hyde routine after ingesting alcohol... This also accounts for the personality change when you drink. It is important to understand that if you are an addict, you have a different chemical interaction with alcohol and other addictive substances than "normal" people. Your body does not process alcohol effectively. A non addict does not go through the dramatic personality change that addictive types do. It has nothing to do with your worth as a person. There is no need to beat yourself up. I am a little concerned at your self-diagnosis as "cured" addict... As I understand it, addiction can never be cured, it can only be arrested. And addicts should not be drinking alcohol either.... Addicts and alcoholics have a genetic and chemical predisposition to addiction. So, as an addict, in order to keep the beast chained, you need to abstain from mind altering recreation including alcohol. Your description of events sounds like textbook alcoholism... Another aspect to addiction recovery is the need to be addressing your addictive thought patterns. It isn't enough to say it's in the past, because the predisposition to addiction will not go away with time, it will get worse.. This is usually best dealt with through 12 step type groups and counseling... If you have a past with addiction and you experience extreme personality shifts from drinking alcohol, I would advise researching further options for addiction treatment...

Says me... Dude, I am very sorry but you are grossly mistaken. I don't know from where you are getting your info, but it is very inaccurate. I have been doing this stuff for a long time. I've made all the mistakes. I have alot of energy and know what I am talking about through experience. I have been celibate, single and not celibate. I have practiced retention. I've done all the stuff you are trying to do. And I'm telling you, it isn't necessary to torture yourself. You can gain or lose energy alone or with a partner and all while having healthy sexual release. It all depends on the situation. Your mindset and how you deal with your emotions is far more important for your energy levels than ejaculation. Your obsession with retention and losing energy is not healthy. You are young, believe me, the last thing you need to worry about at your age is losing energy through ejaculation. Seriously bro, if you are serious about this, get a teacher. You need someone knowledgable to talk to.

Why do you care? Where are you getting your information from? I'm telling you that your understanding of energy techniques is incomplete! You've got the steps all out of order. retention is meaningless if you are not practicing qigong and meditation properly. retention is unnecessary and useless if you are not first learning how to gather energy. Retention is totally unnecessary until after you have achieved a high level of energy work... Seriously, man, stop wasting your time. Start with the basics. All you're going to do at this stage is give yourself blue balls or testicular cancer. If you find a teacher, you won't have to ask ridiculous questions on an internet forum. You'll have more intelligent questions that will actually help you...
