  1. In fact you maybe angry on yourself more, but you're unaware of it.
  2. When a thread like that will be created, the answer to the question whether he's a phony or not will become very obvious. I had the chanse of listening to the audio book Active Side of Infinity. I had the feeling that the stories weren't true... they were just too damn well ballanced, like equations. At the same time I knew that not their truth mattered, but the feeling. That feeling, and the plethora of feelings the books exert, are CC's transmision to us. If you hold on to them enough time, your assemblage point will move slightly, just enough for you to grasp what does it mean to have a relationship with Life and Infinity the way a warrior is bound to have... That was his gift to the world. What he took in return was ridiculously insignificant.
  3. I'm not convinced that the action took place only in the second attention. Needless to say, I don't agree with the other versions either. I'd like to think about CC's story as being a subject worth investigating, when I will have the proper 'tools' to do it.. L1
  4. Yes. Also, in my experience, you can't really make a definitive and clear separation between sexual energy, emotional energy, and mental energy. When you try to cultivate one of them, you should know that you need to work up all three of them. That's why you need a complete system. Focusing on your dick alone won't get you very far ahead in the energy practice
  5. Morihei Ueshiba died of liver cancer.
  6. What you are reffering to as "Mantak Chia's exercises" are only a tiny fraction of a complete and marvelous system that you seem not to know anything about... All of the practices work together... remember that, because no matter what system you will try to learn in the future, you will encounter different problems, again. And not because of the systems. But because people are in a hurry, and they want MORE, MORE, MORE, asap... There are no such things as 'insignificant warnings'. The warnings are there, if your decision is to ignore them, you pay the price. And blaming others for your choice is not very mature. So you want them not to publish the books any more for that? The books helped me! I didn't ignore the warnings, I proceeded with caution, I stopped when there was something I didn't understand very well, I search up a qualified instructor, and now all is fine...
  7. I can bet my monthly sallary that you're not reffering to the Inner Smile. What gets people hurt is haste and greed. Of course, not uncommon. things you were supposed to know
  8. http://www.thetaobums.com/index.php?/topic/5348-encounters-with-the-nagual/ Welcome to my truth!
  9. This is silly. If you Really Believe, Jesus will make you healthy without jogging. Instead of jogging around like a pagan fool, Read your goddamn' Bible!!
  10. I was reffering to the original post... Check it out!
  11. I hear you, TM.. Normal by what standards? You know, it's funny you would say that. I mean, that's the perspective from which I wrote my previous posts actually. I had my fights to regain my normality recently, and found it more appealing than supernormal stuff. So the underlying question would be, why would someone go from ordinary (jack) throu all the difficulty that involves training, in order to achieve goals that nobody knows for a fact that they are achievable (not for many, at least). And then, I read something like "immortality for all", from some source that is considered reliable. You can imagine my surprise!.. L1
  12. Honestly I'm not really impressed, but thank you, really, for sharing. I had simmilar sensations practicing alone, when I was a tad younger... stuff you find in cheap qigong books. I'm as healthy as any guy, and roughly satisfied with my life - it's the fruit of my own actions, according to buddhism, therefore I can't blame/praise anyone else for it. I just don't see why I would go through all this trouble, not to mention gathering huge amounts of financial resources. For what I know, the stories are still nothing but stories. And even if they are true for a master like Mr. Liping, it isn't necessarely true for his followers... is it? I still don't know what to make of this. I'll just keep at it for some time, and hopefully in the future things will become alot clearer. I'm looking forward to more views on it, if they are available. Thanks guys. L1
  13. I suppose you have a better option than this?? We don't even know what to look for in a master. Maybe this is the real problem. How would you 'detect' achievement in someone? Listening and following people without achievements is not only useless, it's also counterproductive. And yet, we don't know how to distinguish between those that have, and those that mimic real results... Well, maybe it's karma. L1
  14. Hmm... immortality? All? The above are serious claims, and as such should be backed up by some testimonials. I hope this isn't considered offensive, it's an honest question: Master Wang has been teaching for many years now. I would be expected that by now, there would be some really spectacular achievements amoungst the students - if we take what is written in the book about the Dragon Gate Wizards as fact. By achievements I don't mean SHO. I mean something more... obvious. Something other people can see. Beside health benefits... There may be people there that, if they attended more seminars in a row, may have already spent a small fortune on these teachings. This is nothing but a sincere inquiry about the real benefits observed by now. I hope it will be understood as such. l
  15. Even if they are forgived, if what they did was very cruel, they FEEL the need to suffer. Sometimes they will not believe you have forgiven them. Because they wouldn't forgive you, if they were you. Sometimes, only after you have hurt them yourself, will they feel at peace. A debt of feelings is a debt of feelings, to recover it is very complex. And until you do, you will be incomplete, because part of you is still left in the other person, even if you forgive the person. It has to be both ways. I know, life isn't like in the good old books... Good luck my friend L1
  16. Reiki?

sorry, my mistake, i should have made it clearer: Lin Aiwei posted on the TTB about this reiki thing...
  17. Reiki?

I don't want to spoil the surprise. Besides, I don't judge them in a good/bad frame, just interested in his experience. He practices meditation and healing, and has a really nice comunity, as far as I know. Won't hurt to ask him personally... Oh, I was reffering to posts that he made on the TTB
  18. Reiki?

Sorry, you'd have to dig it out on your own, it's worth it. Just too damn complicated... especially because last i looked he writes his name in Chinese...
  19. Reiki?

Lin Aiwei has some REALLY interesting posts about Reiki.
  20. Stephen Chang seems an interesting fellow. Does anyone follow this guy's system? Thank you
  21. Some of us do it by using sheer will power. Yet not many are that fortunate to inherit enough Zhi, kidney element, water. Everytime we use will, we tax our kidney. Some of us have the reserves, some of us don't, and have to consider using a different approach. What got me starting this poll was an intuition i had late during the night, that the inconsecvence of practitioners can be corrected if they understand what can move them to practice - because of the natal element chart, everyone is different... Most of the traditions strongly affirm you need strong will power. Do we really? If we do, there are practices that can strenghten the Zhi spirit. But what if we can do it our own individual way, with what we already have?... This is a long shot, I'd like to ask you if you please want to comment your votes above, to help me make some general statistic. Also comments are very welcomed, regarding the original idea. Please share.. L1 PS: The choises in the first question of the poll are not complete and thorough, please add in your comments what other sources you find in your own practice. Thank you so much!
