Is TaoBums breeding grounds for cult-like behavior?

Durkhrod, you are a genius! I propose pinning this up!

I think this is a legit question, and the answer could help one understand the process of retaining and cultivating it inside, rather than just accumulating it, and then loosing it in the daily activities... Last I asked, we were talking about the relation between intelect and Qi, and how is intelect seen by daoist practicioners... again, it's something else, not just reason... Oh, and please don't write obvious things - it's obvious that without practice the understanding is shallow, yet the vice-versa is also true, without understanding the practice is shallow...

Any definition of necessary harm has a great degree of hypocrisy in it, so... we have to admit, we live in a TOUGH world. Do you even think we are the top of the food chain? We are certainly NOT! TOUGH is just attaching a label btw

Is TaoBums breeding grounds for cult-like behavior?

So, you're new around. We'll have to let you in on his secret: pot and 'meditation', powerful mix! I have the feeling that what we're really fighting against is pot itself, and not the better part of findley - whatever that is, wherever that is PS: It's game over from starters eheheh!!! -
While you're at it, stop the killing of pigs, cows, eggs, chicken, fish, they also have a soul and spirit... Don't forget salad and veggies also, EEG and EKG done to a plant shows plants have feelings, and SUFFER... Stop the killing of bacteria and microbes present in drinking water, that are ingested together with water... they die in the acid environment of the stomach... Stop the killing of orbs and sparks of vitality that are virtually ingested together with the air that we breathe... Or better yet, stop stupidity from spreading, it is the biggest mass murderer in existance... Buddha, Jesus, Mohamed, Lao Tse, they all fought hard against this demon... with little success, appearantly...

thanks Ya Mu, there is a saying, mountain can meet another mountain, all the more so man can meet another man... who knows what the future holds, if the waves of life will drift me towards the good ol' u.s. of a, i'll be sure to at least pay a visit and see you do it. to my understanding, following a warrrior path is indeed a must, because energy works means alot more than meditation. it's the way we live and behave in this world, with the totality of our expression... it seems we are nothing more than a large mass of seekers, the real meaning of our existance is the overall raise of human consciousness, and not any individual achievements in particular... it's a happy sad feeling, we are so close and yet so far from the path. it hurts to know it, but it would hurt alot more not to... i am at peace with this thought, and i'll continue to do what a taiji master once said: work hard, work well, and wait for your allotment/turn... btw nice demo, not sure i'd like to try that thou'

no offense, these are really big words... are u sure u can back them up with something? it's very common for practicioners to put the equal(=) sign between their lesser achievements and living concepts that are very far from their reach. it's an honest question, if you can stop the world at will, you would be the very first man that i 'met' who (says he) can do this... which would be quite an accomplishment... worth crossing the atlantic for attending a workshop, i might add... btw, are you sure it's even compatible with daoism? is the warrior path compatible with the peacefulness of the inner alchemist? this is not taunting, but real interest, because of my simmilar strife to link the warrior path and the inner alchemy path... until now, they don't seem to mix up... thanks L1

what is IGNITION!!! ?

- you take things way too personally... you can call master chia a jerk, if you really demand satisfaction, i really don't care - this is a daoist forum anyway - i don't think correctness/fairness should be the only criteria, but rather the contribution, and the quality of it - but hey, that's just me - let's leave this thread for practice issues and stop any argument regarding anything else edit: spelling and typos

How is the light congealed and used to open the microcosmic orbit? Are there fluctuations or particular sensations that occur while opening the microcosmic points? Based on your experience/s and feedback from the readers, how would someone change if he/she would practice the qigong as outlined in your books? How far can this practice take one? I know for a fact that masters use an elaborate system of sign reading of the practicioner, to avoid errors during the training. What is your view on this matter? Thank you

this is a part of a private discussion between Mr. Yudelove and myself, the Bolded part is mine, the Italic is Mr. Yudelove's reply. 'Morning Mr. Yudelove, this is Little 1 from TTB You said we could contact you if we have questions about your articles. I have some, I hope you won't mind answering, be it in private or even write an article that can be available for others as well. So, here go my concerns: - How does exactly the Light appear, and why? - What exactly is the Light that appears? Translation of the T'ai I Chin Hua Tsung Chih-The Secret of the Golden Flower" This is the opening paragraph of the book: I. Heavenly Consciousness (The Heart) Master Lu-tsu said, That which exists through itself is called the Way (Tao). Tao has neither name or shape. It is the one essence(Jing), the one Primal Spirit(Shen). Essence and life cannot be seen. They are contained in the Light of Heaven. The light of heaven cannot be seen. It is contained in the two eyes. Today I will be your guide and will first reveal to you the secret of the Golden Flower of the Great One, and starting from that, I will explain the rest in detail. - you may be aware that many of the practicioners complained about the practice of healing love, as being not very beneficial and even risky. Do you think it would be appropriate to discuss these issues, as to why this is happening and why, on the TTB board? I never had a problem. I don't know what they're doing so I can't answer for anyone else but myself. I realized what a gift I was given with this knowledge when I was single again after my first wife died. Until then I didn't have much of a clue about the real capabilities of Taoist sex. I left a lot of wide eyed, smiling faces behind. And now I have the best and sexiest woman I could ever imagine. Oh----I do add a little magick of my own. But it really works if done right, that's my experience. I did get some really positive feedback on this from my readers. Maybe my system is easier to follow, the way I grow the practice week by week is probably a profoundly different experience from the way others can teach it at a retreat or seminar type setting? You get all the information sort of thrown at you, all though it is probably the same thing that I teach. A slow week by week approach I think will give you a better practical understanding of Taoist Sex. - another question: are these practices regarding inner alchemy to be done in confined spaces such as house or apartments, or are they suitable to be practiced in open space also? how about practicing with the windows open? Do them anywhere you feel comfortable doing them. If you don't feel at ease or are uncomfortable, don't do them. - as a teacher and magician, you must have some experience regarding what people call vampirism on an energy or other levels as well... I would be grateful if you could share your thoughts on the subject... Absolutely exists. There are some people who can just absorb your life force. I remember a young lady I knew before I met my 1st wife, this young lady had some serious emotional issues that involved the use of psychedelics. Everytime I was near her I would start to feel tired. Finally when we went on a picnic I got so tired that I fell asleep in the grass. I knew it wasn't conscious on her part, but I had become her "host". Ended that quickly. Learn to psychically protect yourself. I have an exercise involving the use of a visualized shield in "100". - did you publish a book regarding the higher alchemy formulas such as kan and li and the reunions? i know of only three: tao and the tree of life, taoist yoga and 100 days... is there another book beside these three? No I never did another Taoist book. Perhaps when you finish reading my lessons you might not need one. But you never know. many thanks, E.S Mr. Yudelove said that the questions and the answers that he gave should be accessible to the others on this forum as well. I hope others may come with other and more interesting questions...

I agree, this is what makes ttb interesting, not threads about jerking off, pimples, hemorrhoids and ramakhrishna. Let's just hope it will last long enough.... or better yet, let's help it last!

Hello, can you please expand a bit on your explanation? Thanks.

I agree. Some people can raise their self-esteem just by trying to lower it to others. Silly, if you ask me. Yes, Tao is all about rules. The ones that really count. Mal, I don't like to see you heartbroken! Hang in there, Mal.

Eric, you know, there is this saying: what do you prefer, being right or having friends, because you cannot have both. this time i agree with Hundun's last post. these practices were never openly discussed, that is, not by an author facing his readers/disciples, to dismantle the possible problems and issues. as far as i'm concerned, whether you like it or not, you still have a responsability towards the people that are ready to practice what you write. master chia couldn't do this, because he is still, in many ways, a Chinese. but you are a westerner and understand how westerners think, and have the experience that allows you not to feel diminished by some random idiotic comment. who do you want people to turn to? eleanor roosevelt once said: those that want be light bearers, must be able to endure burning. i think you already knew this was going to happen. sure, it's your choise and i can respect it, especially if they attack your wife - who's posts, btw, i enjoy very much. i feel she is a wonderful person. you can tell her that there are alot of people that enjoy her posts. not many write, but that doesn't mean she's not appreciated. the same applies to your posts also! anyway you want to draw a line, we can do little about it. but still, if you'd choose to speak and share, my feeling is, you will have a great echo... many nice people can and will listen to what you have to say. sincerely L1

Well, to tell you the truth Craig, i for one don't mind people not agreeing with my posts, i don't even mind being insulted that much... on one condition thou: if i'm offered some good alternative a valuable thought a new idea perspective ... I'm here to learn, and possibly share. And ready to give and take anything, harshness included. If we were complete and satisfied, would we ever be on the TTB in the first place?

next time, on the next forum, in the next Yuga, try not to act like an undisputable authority in daoism, you'll get nicer attitudes in response... we are all n00bs here, even if we like to think otherwise...

needed a good laugh today! much oblige!
