  1. Darin knows, he has to It's interesting that the West doesn't have a positive immortal figure, besides one or two religious figures...
  2. In Chinese is called Xing Ming Shuang Xiu, Double cultivation of Destiny and Life... If you cultivate Life without cultivating Destiny, you can still achieve high level. Have you seen the movie The Picture of Dorian Gray? Or the Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus? Immortality and superpowers are ALWAYS associated with deviation in the West... mad scientists, vampires, lunacy... That what it means, not cultivating the Destiny. The human part.
  3. It's ok. The thing is, i think people need to grow up. You know, you can have energy work and enlightenment even without growing up. Isn't that something?... The title of the thread shows one of the possible paths, the easiest choise, easy because it is somehow (tended to be) mandatory (a while ago)... But, people that have other opinions are right too... Still... It's a hard way, thou. I don't know if we can replace it with anything else. Reinvent another kind o wheel perhaps? The training that it involves is so thourough, i can't imagine anything more suitable - and i'm the happy possessor of a good imagination... Re the population issue: if you look at the present, you will know your future. Especially, take a good look at the health care business, food, water, air, mindset... I think we get sidetracked from the real issues of the human being... this is what i think now.
  4. Nevermind your sarcasm, the one that worries me most is the constant degeneration of humanity as a species... But you're right... Enjoy your choise!
  5. If you are concerned with 'population spike', maybe you don't know. Population is about to be reduced at 400 million people, this is what is supposed to be accomplished in the next 20 or so years... Yet, I don't think it is related to the topic at hand, anymore than lighting up a candle is related with global warming. Did you know that one active volcano warms up the planet more than all our industrial means put together? Anyhow, we're not discussing quantity, but quality, as practicioners...
  6. interestingly, most of the masters that we know of, were and are all married with children - even high level and it's the same with most of the serious practicioners (of course there are some few exceptions) i think we have two kinds of destinies: worldly destiny and heavenly destiny maybe those masters were concerned with fulfilling both of them if we can't master the seen, nevermind the unseen - this is somewhat what Confucius said, when asked about gods and demons and magic

  8. How to die?

i think this question is essential... because, if you don't know how to die, all your life's achievements could be gone in an instant... we're supposed to rehearse death in meditation... in m chia's system, is what you do in the fusion of the five elements, the fifth formula... the next formulas consist in transferring the work of your life inside this etherical vehicle... in kan and li 1 you learn to give birth to a higher vehicle... in kan and li 2 a higher vehicle... and so on... the higher the capacity of the vehicle, the wider the range of posibilities, and the larger the amount of achievements you could carry to the mid-plane... edit: you also learn how to depart in it in a fraction of a second... even if you are having an accident... it is very different from normal astral travel, because you have this practice where you Grow new possibilities to the astral body... it's not the highest level thou, but it's more in our range than anything else. personally, i think for me many things will occur in the mid-plane stage of existance, many things that i had not the time or energy do develop in this life. the tricky part is, i need to learn how to transfer enough materia prima without it, out there, there is too little that we can do...
  9. It seems to me the title of the thread doesn't reflect the actual situation. I learned alot from Master Chia and his instructors, it changed my life, so you can understand that the title you choose it's a bit disturbing to me. It's more like: i taught innapropriate way of practicing to a young man at an innapropriate age, and this resulted into trouble. If you start by pinning the problem to someone else's back, there are small chanses you resolve it. Einstein once said: the mindset that created the problem needs to change, because it generated the problem. You cannot solve the problem without solving the mindset... That being said, my reccomendation is to follow the link in my signature, and read a bit what i wrote there. It may complement to what you know on the subject. Beyond that, there is little i can do... you need professional advice. Good luck anyway L1
  10. Innocence

I have a few questions: What is to you mental innocence, emotional innocence, physical innocence? Can innocence be lost? Can it be recovered? What are your experiences regarding Innocence? What part does it play in your practice? Thank you so much yours L1
  11. Innocence

    Busted!
  12. Akira Ishihara

Hi there, Has anyone read the book? Can I find small texts from this book on the internet? L1
  13. Innocence

We're kind of getting close. See, I don't know what is it either. Not in a way i can express it, anyway.
  14. Akira Ishihara

Ok cat, I hear you! The sad think is, people don't know what they are missing... I see alot of threads on masturbation, drugs, freaky stuff... what does tao has to do with any of these?! If people could only knew... I remember a phrase :'physical movement (mechanics of the lovemaking) is but a pale shadow of the real action, the subtle movement. there is where all the miracle happens'... It's just amazing how little we know about sex! hugs L1
  15. Innocence

...is of little interest to anyone. Or is it, this is the main point of the thread. And if it is, does it relate to practice or not.
  16. Akira Ishihara

the levels are not in the books... wait, there was one, i think it was taoist secrets of love, that had a brief description on what goes beyond the second layer... there are nine options regarding sex, we know only two, solo and dual. the next layers involve the upper bodies, and different types of exchange... energetic, emotional etc. drew reminded me of some of them with his description of the o at a d... it's not the same thing, but it can be compared to it... i learn it in my country, i don't know if there is taught anywhere else, in fact this is what i'm looking for... other options and ways of learning it... the implications were devastating in my case. it blew me away, i'm still recovering eheh... which means not in the mood to share more, not yet... but it's interesting you asked, it's good to know that, to a person that took the level three course, the entire sex affair, so to speak, is much much more that we ever thought it is... i could add it's natural and nurturing... i don't mean to tease, but since you asked and were interested, i thought i'd share my view for now... thanks, cat
  17. Akira Ishihara

there are nine levels of healing love, and two have been taught extensively: basics and couples. i just knocked into level three recently, so i'm guess i'm looking for a way to validate my experiences... it's a bit what drew is describing... i heard those Japanese dudes know something, due to their keeping of the Ishimpo enciclopedia.... which they got from the Chinese way back btw.
  18. Innocence

Thanx Pietro, nice thread, I'll read it... Innocence... Well, let me pull the rabbit out of the hat: actually i AM hinting to something... Just wondered if anyone else had the same feeling. If not i guess i'll just drop it... being a privative, it can't be shared eheh
  19. Akira Ishihara

Click here hi cat, happy new year to you too i'm interesting in the Japanese way of teaching it...
  20. Innocence

hi cat, i remember that in most of the tales i've read, the hero was pure of heart... do you think this purity and innocence can be a 'disadvantage' in society and modern times in general? thanx <)
  21. Innocence

Somehow we're still missing it... What is innocence, guys, girls, ehm?
  22. I think Lin Aiwei wrote something really interesting about his experiences with Reiki. Type Lin Aiwei Reiki in the search...
  23. Innocence

Speaking of innocence, there are a few posters here who's posts have something innocent in it. I can think of at least two, and Marblehead, you are amoung them:) The other one is cat. I don't recall now, but there must be others. Oh, I think Yoda has some too.
  24. Stealing Life Force

No. Our energy, genes and soul are conditioned to Christian religious and mystic programming... So, next time, ask/shout for Jesus's help... I'm not kidding. You will be in for a big surprise.
