not sure if it's legit, but sure it works on many problems the main thing is, getting quality products... you can't be sure what they put in it. the actual cordyceps is really expensive, and it comes in packs, with worm-like stuff that you're supposed to make a soup out of. heck, i'm not even sure you can find these outside of mainland china...

Hi SoaringCrane, I agree for the most part, and I wish the situation were different. If people cannot learn simple 'westernized' practices, how can they hope to get into the traditional, more complex and refined stuff, which is highly contextual to Chinese culture - which is absolutely immense. It's not a question of what is the best, but of what is more appropriate and more suitable for one's own resources, time, talent, and health. At least this is my view on things, what works - nevermind the colour of the cat. My belief is that as a male you cannot generate sexual energy without healthy sperm. Sperm is not Jing, of course, but the quality and quantity of Jing depends very much on the health of the sperm. A practicioner should have thick, dense white sperm. Watery diluted sperm is a not a good sign. I said belief, but it's highly sustained by medical and scientifical studies, related to hormonal level and balancing, their effect on wellbeing and health, in which I am very interested. I couldn't care what and who said whatever, my main focus is if it works or not. Of course the subtle feeds the physical, but the physical feeds the subtle even more. Is it's battery. That's why it's said that human birth is the most fortunate event, and should not be wasted, but used in cultivation. Human body seems to be considered one of the best means to accelerate the inner transformation, due to it's many many qualities. So, I'm not going to invest too much in the idea that my soul matters more than my body. For a short period of time, I have a physical body, which is the Lamborgini of possible bodies. I'm grateful for it, and may the Heaven guide us all to use it with good virtue and wisdom... Taoists, the water path, have the Earth element as center. The fire path, Buddhists and Hindu and Western Occultism, all have Ether as a central element. I think they should not be mixted... Cheers

Now, Steve, I was (partly) joking You're quite a nice guy. Our necessities are different, so it's normal that our views differ. non idem est si duo dicunt idem Pietro, watch out, I'll get you at the next corner

Yes. It depends on your body's resources... i think the lifestyle you had took it's tool on you. You need to recharge. If you continue spending your energy on girls... well, it's a choise, what can i say. Life's short, gotta live it. If i were you, i start doing some meditation, 15 minutes a day. And walking in the park? instead of taiji! Good luck man!
-
A 20 minutes walk in the park in the morning, and 20 minutes of walking in the park in the evening, by a lake, if possibly... Nature can protect you, and cure the negativity, without charging a dime. It's as easy as a walk in the park, Non.

yes, but because you are young, you don't feel it. in a couple of years, usually people do feel it, and start cutting down on ejaculation and wasted nights, drugs and alcohol. basically this i what i think you need to do: learn to sit and meditate, and learn some form of taiji. it may actually help you become a better lover... and, cut down on sugar intake. in fact, cut down on most of it. usually after doing so, many men feel less sexually stimulated. it's not their energy, it's just the sugar. (also cofeine and alcohol play a part)

Hello there meditation - sitting still taiji - learning to move with power and grace these can help you very much to cool down and root down to the earth. if you want to know a daoist opinion on sex, grab a sit, and then read the following: ready yet? there's no such thing as excess sexual energy. in daoism we know that when your sexual energy is full, the effect is opposed to what you describe. meaning, you are less interested in sex. sex hunger usually indicates a person that has scattered too much sexual energy. actually is a behaviour that masks an instinctive need to recover all the energy lost... but without method, it's no use. and even if you got the method, you still need to learn to sit still, and move with power and elegance. see above. good luck

I didn't mean Chinese. Take a look: virtue Look up virtue at Dictionary.com early 13c., "moral life and conduct, moral excellence," vertu, from Anglo-Fr. and O.Fr. vertu, from L. virtutem (nom. virtus) "moral strength, manliness, valor, excellence, worth," from vir "man" (see virile). Phrase by virtue of (early 13c.) preserves alternative M.E. sense of "efficacy." Wyclif Bible has virtue where K.J.V. uses power. The seven cardinal virtues (early 14c.) were divided into the natural (justice, prudence, temperance, fortitude) and the theological (hope, faith, charity). To make a virtue of a necessity (late 14c.) translates L. facere de necessitate virtutem. [Jerome]

So you agree with me, now I'm worried However, I think you and I may have different understanding regarding what I've wrote there: Before you get to 'Just be yourself' there are alot of installments that need installing But I won't get into that here. On the other hand I'm not worried that you agree with some of my views, because you admitted your comming here is part of a learning process. I am also a student, so I know firsthand how important to build a correct structure to your mind. What is correct? It's what is functional. Btw, De means something precise. 'Virtue' is a technical word. Care about 'dismembering' it?

I don't think you derail it, it's more like you go deep into it. We need someone who has read Pavlov's work, if we want to get to constructive conclusions. I like M Winn's asertion about becoming a complete human being: you don't become some kind of super-hero prototype. You fulfill your own nature, as good or as bad as it is, you bring it up to fruit. He sustained his view giving examples from the history of the eight immortals: one was crippled, another one gay, another one fat, another one drunk and so on. No prototypes here... compared to You don't need to fight your own nature. And how can you discern what is your own nature, and what is something else? You yourself are a conglomerate, a complex being made up of hundred million small physical and non-physical beings. Your habits are yours. Make them work for you, not against you. I got far... back to instinct. It's more than we culturally agree it is. Ah, anybody seen Pavlov around...?

Thanks Pietro, you know, the Chinese had a simmilar debate in their culture, about 2000+ ago. The philosophers were Confucius, Mozi, and Mencius. I don't recall which said what, but there were three opinions: - the human nature is inherently good - the human nature is inherently bad - you are not born human, you become human by education (this i'm sure belong to Confucius, the first one to Mencius, and the second to Mozi, if memory serves) I agree with Confucius. For all the exceptions, I agree with Mozi. For the others not included, I agree with Mencius. I recall that Pak John said there are three types of auras: black, white and yellow - good, bad, and in harmony with oneself and the universe. Just some thoughs:)

I also disagree. To strip eons of individual familial social and cultural conditioning - and bare in mind that there are imprinted at dna and molecular and Qi level - is an impossible task. Not just impossible, but improbable. As it is, i consider it a fruit of our evolution. We don't have to fight it, we have to live with it, this is where our thinking differs. Marble, feel free to sent me a disagreement note as often as you can spare one Also, we were talking about humans, not animals. Also, animals instincts are not 'natural', but are a product of their environment, when it becomes more domestic, so do their 'instincts'. In fact, 'instinct' is just a word that hides a more complex phenomenon. It's easy to spell it and attach the word 'natural' to it, but if you dive into it, you can't tell anything for sure... Cheers

I think there's no such thing as natural instinct. Everything is educated directly or indirectly: - in past lives - the inner spirits that we have inside us, have their own past experience. - during pregnancy - a child can learn while mother watches movies for example - some of them maybe violent - during early stages of childhood - they immitate and have the tendency to express other peoples intentions Everything there is, is under influence. The purpose of daoists is to select the influence actively, because you can never escape it truely... You sound a bit desperate. What's the story really?

The book is correct to the point. Thanks for quoting it, you refreshed my memory. A small example, Alzheimer disease was found to be correlated with a very low hormonal level... It is said that sexual energy has 1001 uses, but people are aware of only 2: making love and making babies. It's not their fault that people don't know more, nobody showed them how things function. It's tricky to offer any advice without knowing the whole situation, but here is what I would do if I were you: 1. frp is correct, you need a complete set of analysis to know your exact situation 2. you need to have an analysis of your chinese astrology chart, to know your strong and weak elements 3. you need to find somebody that had a simmilar problem and was cured following healthy natural methods. the internet is an availabe and good source... 4. you need to stay around women more. it's a simple way to balance your hormonal level. stay around ladies and girls, prefferably attractive ones. just stay there, and let the energy balance itself... you can interact, discuss, even without thinking about having a relationship or sex or whatever... it is said that the Yang becomes strong in the presence of the Yin, and viceversa. Best of luck. If I were you, I'd start seeking a sollution now, while you're still young.

I can't invite Putin and Obama have tea with me, can I? As above, so below. Yet I think it's possible... My belief is we can only attract beings and things matching our own potential. And, I don't think it's an easy ride. Much like falling into the gravitational field of an enormous planet.

Mmm... you can't. If you live and let live, you can't live. To sustain your living you have to consume others' life. Just think about - food - clothes - home - work - etc Live and let live is relativism... Relativism is not associated with success in practice. You need to focus on some things that are more important than others, this way you establish what your values are. Your values are the ones that shape the way you act and live. Live and let live sounds good, but... I haven't found an efficient way to do it....

I for one need your chattering I find it very informative. Fallen teeth, reborn? Are you sure? Yes, the first step when a problem arises is denial...

the truth is, it's more easy for a woman than for a man to reach A orgasm, if she drops the cultural conditioning... the orgasm, however, is not what our books of anatomy describe: there are men that never reach a real orgasm all thru their lives... they confuse it with the spasm of ejaculation. so, my conclusion is, try to have one decent orgasm before you shoot for multiples... how? i'll leave you with the pleasure of discovering that yourself

Look at the date I wrote this message at. But it was before I saw the movie. I think the Pocahontas paquet was some kind of envelope to make the mystic message easy to get thru. I plan to see it on IMAX. The 3D experience wasn't that great...

hello, every practice has the potential of being harmful, not as much because of the practice, but because of the practicioner, not everything 'fits' to everyone, and many people start experimenting with adding or taking apart practices and using what they think it's best... this is my main concern... the practices that 'work', have the potential of causing harm L1

And who will take responsability for accidents that WILL CERTAINLY occur with practice?

Uh-huh... for all of us. Now we're getting somewhere. You know, The best thing about you is that you practice what you preach, and viceversa. BRAVO!
