  1. Wow, that is a very long time... I think seven years definately leave their print on a practicioner. For instance, I was into CC for almost 7 years, and it's still the core of my belief system, even if I turned to Taoism in the meantime. Seven years is alot of Gongfu. For the ones that don't know what Misa/Natha is: Click Here Oh, down the page there is an international section of the forum also...
  2. Hello... Methinks this thread could be a good oportunity for other members to chime in, and ask a few things. Their interest may be stirred... So, here goes: ask whatever you want to ask, and always needed to know how it sounds in Chinese. The rest will try to answer. For us as beginners, it's another way of learning, by helping others learn.... if we know the answer. If not, I hope our 哥哥 's will help. For example, I'd like to know if there's a specific type of greeting that daoists greet each others with...
  3. Of course I don't, I'm asking others if they do.
  4. Speaking of the left hand path, tantra and kundalini... Could you (ShaktiMama, Vajrasattva, or any of Glen's students...) tell me, was/is there a relationship with a certain european organisation named MISA or NATHA?
  5. The Moscow dragon

Count five persons to the left of WLP, the lady in front of the big guy
  6. Yin and Yang - I get lost sometimes

    Definately maybe
  7. The Tao/Way/Power/Magic of Women

if we are ever to get beyond what we see, we should see the world in all it's complexity ... in the search for a quick answer, we tend to simplify too much, and in that rush, we get rid of the instruments that can help us get there , meanwhile we search for something final and worthy ... i see this way too often the Chinese are about yin and yang, if you get what is about in the relationship btween man and the woman, that is a MAJOR step... mm?
  8. The collected works of Blissmusic

i would say that the above is a good description of the basic practice... not something final, just the begining... you start there.
  9. Bad Breath From Tea? Especially Green Tea?

AND... try to keep this kind of threads (bad breath, warts, hemmorhoids etc) out of the Taoist Discussion
  10. Nada Yoga

Kan and Li? Loong story, and I haven't practiced it enough to make a valid working description... Basically, it's a type of meditation in Mantak Chia's system....
  11. fascinating indeed... but how does the training actually work? i didn't understand one iota out of that site
  12. Nada Yoga

i did work with it, it does refine the vibes... there is a level in Kan and Li where you use hearing to continue the cultivation... what about the five tibetans and the inner sound? how do they mix?
  13. The Tao/Way/Power/Magic of Women

Bravo, bravissimo! that is very correct also! Yet, we should not forget that Yin and Yang flourish only when they are around each other... If you take away one of them, the magic stops.
  14. Uhumm... I would add that it's very hard to change all those 'features' even if you really want to, let alone if you consider them as normal... it's close to impossible. Agape, I have a nose for lost cases... you'll wake up at 52, mmm... make that 62, if the environment doesn't change for the worse. If it does, well, amen with it... But even the great Confucius said that if you hear truthful words in the morning, it's no loss to die in the evening.
  15. The first book on Taoist Secrets of Love is a great read. Co-authored with Michael Winn, I think it's one of a kind book on eastern sexual practices. It also contains an outline of the Nine levels of practice regarding Healing love... have you guys ever read that part yet? No one ever mentioned it on this forum, at least. And, every level has it's techniques... There are too many that equal Healing love to the Finger Lock, which is a bit silly, IMHO. That is only a temporary aid, it is specified so in all the books. You need to move further if you want a good look at the system. In his last visit, M Chia said that many tantric gurus are coming to him to better their practices, but it's inofficial...

  18. A friend needs protection

When people are under attack, there are a few things that they can do: - spend alot of time in a big crowd... when the victim is in a crowd, the attacker's 'signal' loses it's precision, and eventually fades - spend alot of time in a big park, or better yet, in a forest... the trees have the capacity to absorb negative attacks - every culture has some 'rituals', like walking backwards, rolling backwards three times, or to disguise into a person of the opposite sex.... - last but not least, a good system of protection... the ring of fire etc... hope this helps good luck
  19. Taomeow, are you familliar with the difference between 有and 是 ? if so, can you comment a bit on your view on it? respectfully, L1 PS: there's not a day that passes by, that i don't wonder why does it not matter how close one is to a legit environment to cultivate the Dao... someone may be as close as skin, and as far as heaven from earth... bewildering, intriguing, wonder of wonders... (not reffering to anyone here:)
  20. 中国电影

  23. What is the point
