  2. Nassim Haramein

I tried to tell you.... Make a search on Nassim on TTB's engine.

In response to your PM, don't think it's a good idea... What do you wish to learn? Your change of moods may show to others that in fact you may be a secret fan of DV I'm done with it, and the last argument we had with RF has cut out all the residual interest... So I'm grateful. But I can understand you... do whatever you want, you need to have your own experience with it, no one else could tell you otherwise until you go thru that. Be well, and please forget about asking me anything related to the subject, because I just don't have the stomach for it anymore.

That's pretty close Mal! What babble fish are we babbling about?! I'm learning Mandarin...
  5. Chinese language questions.

。。 (i hope i didn't make a fool of myself trying to write these:)) on second thought, someone proposed, not so long ago, that a sub-section of the taobums should be created in Chinese... it would be a great oportunity to exercise at least the writing, being corrected by native or more fluent speakers? not to mention learning about daoist concepts and theory in their native language... how about it Yoda? you may have more influence on the moderators than poor lil' me:) we can help each other alot. if i remember correctly, exorcist liked the idea also... maybe he has friends. guys, it's time we stop talking about it and start doing smthn... what do ya'all say, huh? i'm sure Stig would like it alot also...
  6. ROnnie is back!

    i'd like to "meet" him
  7. Chinese language questions.

If you take only BRITISH accents alone, you've got at least a dozen. The same goes with Canadian, also American, Aussies have their special flavour, New Zeelanders - the same... I'm from Eastern Europe:)
  8. Rick, you still don't get it. After all of our PM exchange, you still stick with your ideas... Even if HE pays me, I won't study with him. Why waste time and money, when I come to realize on my own, what kind of a man he is? I only train with people that I appreciate, and want to emulate. Who would want to emulate a Verdesi??
  9. drugs is external alchemy meditation is internal alchemy it's like antibiotics compared to your own white blood cells: both can kill an infection, but the antibiotics kill the healthy cells also... there's a hipe about drugs these days, wherever you go. god help me to stay clean and focused, shy as a maiden
  10. If you realize that in the end you goofed, will you erase the title of the thread? I have no double identity. The moderators can check that pretty easily, I think. If there are misunderstandings, please ask first, and shoot later. If you do it the other way around, people might suspect your intentions are not that sincere... You can do whatever you want, for all I care. Fooled me once, shame on you - and you know the rest... PS: Why do I get the funny feeling that all this discussion is just some kind of free publicity (negative or positive, it doesn't count) for the up-coming seminar in NY? If it is, it worked backwards for me. No interest whatsoever anymore...
  11. Chinese language questions.

What if I'm not a native English speaker? I learned English in school. I could get a English Instructor Certificate, I think. After finishing school, I think I'll spend at least a year or two in China, with my wife and son. Until then, I'm looking for scholarship oportunities, for the near future... Thanks
  12. Chinese language questions.

Ehe, thank you for that... I also wish to add that they also told us that studying Chinese is a life-long endevour..
  13. How do you explain Taoism ?

First SHOW, and the TELL. If you are a daoist, you'd have something to show by now... mmm?

It's nagualism, a tradition whose secrecy was broke by Carlos Can't-stand-ya If you can tune in into what he and the witches transmit.... well, it's only that feeling that keeps my belief that 'there are things between heaven and earth that our philosophers never dreamed of' As a consequence of that connection, I can add with certainty that I am not the same since I met that path. Compared to the corpus of theory and practice that I have embodied in time, if I was to make a metaphor, it's like the cerebelum compared to the brain. The brain is the larger part, and the cerebelum is the smaller part. The cerebelum is the part that deals with surviving and basic instincts. The lager brain is about constructing and synthesizing. It's a very direct path, no words, just survival, here and beyond. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a master, or better said, I'm still not ready to meet such a master... In time, I'm sure I'll have my chanse. The connection is just too strong.
  15. Chinese language questions.

I find that VERY interesting... there's a part of the Chinese knowledge about spirit, that it is said to have crossed to them... I studied that tradition also, it's rich and profound.

Yoda, i'm learning Chinese in college, so being close to a learning environment, i have a fiew thoughts: - HanYu is the official language in China, the manuals that we learn from are written in HanYu - i think it's the same as Mandarin. - the manuals are The New Practical Chinese Reader, it has 5 volumes. We do 1 volume per semester, that is almost 400 new characters and expressions, almost over 800 per year. - you'd think that after learning that much you are far ahead, think again, you can barely manage in a normal conversation with a Chinese. - we are at the third workbook now, with some 40-50 new characters per lesson, and we do 1 lesson a week. that's alot to learn, if you add English and Chinese Civilisation, two other courses with pretty much information. - the manuals have also audio cd's, I also found the videos on youtube, they're pretty cool. I just made an outline of the way it's taught in schools, I hope it helps. I need to add that the learning is pretty satisfactory to me, I was always fascinated with codes and stuff since i was a kid... i learn it with pleasure, and this makes all the difference. good luck! L1 PS: how soon will you be able to know some decent Chinese? my teachers say, after i learn 2500 characters...
  17. Not these days it ain't. I'm trying to help a guy, and he turns against me. We have a word about that, in my native tongue, it goes like this: Facerea de bine e f*tere de mama. (Something about doing good and getting f*cked for it. And something about mothers which I dare not repeat ) I'm not sure if his effort is sincere, but if it is, it must be draining, I believe him. For one part, he has my compassion. I know what it means, I really do.
  18. Michael Winn is going to interview Wang Liping this month. He opened a thread on his forum for anyone that has some questions to ask WLP. I put some questions there - some farfetched maybe. I found it interesting that there are fiew that come with questions. Anyone care to fill up the list?

    edit: change of heart
  20. With God bless, in a couple of years i'll be a Sinologist also The funny part of that is that i know quite a bunch of folks that know Chinese, Japanese, Korean, but gosh, it's like it doesn't even count... You'd really have to have a connection with that culture, no matter if you know the language or not. Still i'm not sure if Cleary did translate the book, or was it translated by someone else, and he just put his name on it as a trademark (it's a frequent practice these days).
  21. Last time i checked, before i was banned, the messages that counted for what i said were erased (how convenient, eh?) Yet, if i were you, i would think the same... i very much understand you.
  22. what you are doing is not internal alchemy, is qigong, they belong to the first formula of Universal Tao System. when you start your Fusion practice, it's the first step towards internal alchemy. you really begin to work with alchemy once you start the Kan and Li process. like Trunk said, you are doing great!... just don't miss out on all that the system that you are practicing has to offer to you.
  23. i don't know man, ask the ones that went to worshops besides, the Cleary translation is sloppy
