1. Zhan Zhuang Standing information

Yes, i meant that you need to become more responsible if your internal power grows. It doesn't automatically happen. But it maybe one of the best requirements...
2. Microcosmic Orbit

you need a good amout of power to 'achieve' that 'result'. otherwise is like worrying about touching a pocket-size battery, what if you will get electrocuted. it all depends on what you want, that shapes the way you practice, and the results you are going to meet.
3. often we go for Quantity and forget that the main thing we need is Quality. regarding quality, remember that there is always an exchange between partners, whether they practice together or just one of them. i'm sure anyone has his/her examples on this. ever wondered why long term partners even begin to look the same? it seems that this whole issue of male/female interaction is so crucial for us to understand, because once we get this right, all the practice falls into the right place. but if we get this wrong, then........ 糟糕 L1
4. Zhan Zhuang Standing information

I agree! At the same time practicing that amount of time or more daily IS necessary, but INSUFFICIENT. You need a change of heart, and a change of mind. And understanding... you don't find that at every street's corner. Peace L1 PS: With power comes responsability, and fiew of us are ready to grow up at a faster pace.
5. it's that they are written differently 道教 道家 hmm?
6. serene blue, there's something interesting regarding the sexual maturization of a human individual. there are certain phases during which the epicentre of sexuality is located in different areas. it's quite a long and slow progress, most of us remain at different stages of developement, some oral, some anal, some genital, and some move beyond the mount venus, to the non-physical. it all depends on what you want. there are good books regarding sexual development in children, that would be of good use in this issue. google-fu!
7. men do this in quite alot of different situations
8. Create a Qi Field

Almost anyone can make tea. Making a soup is easy as well. Preparing a really good and nurturing dish is a bit more complex. Even fiewer can make a dish that can heal you and make you stronger. But who can make a dish that can make you smarter. Or closer to enlightenment. But tea is important as well, we start from there. Add some honey
9. hear hear! that's what bugs me sometime. i wonder, what if he would become fluffier in the near future, maybe the teachings would have more success?? he's a technical type, you get the gears going, and in the rest you can improvise and be creative, because there is enough space for it...
10. Castaneda Dissection

there's a Zen parable about the man that first sees mountains and valleys as mountains and valleys, in the next phase of the training he doesn't see mountains and valleys as mountains and valleys, and in the third phase of the training he again sees mountains as mountains and valleys as valleys. to me it was the same with CC's work: genius, fraud, genius. i choose to judge teachings, not teachers. in his teachings there are things of such outstanding clarity and power, that i tend to believe that for most part they were true. i still yearn for a direct experience with that line of knowledge, and still think it has alot to offer to a new commer, if it is received with wisdom and common sense. clear intent! for that
11. Wanted: John Chang teacher in Europe

yes this is really embarassing
12. It's Cha Quan. The guy is a student of Liping, but he is not allowed to teach...
13. of course, sitting around doing nothing, like a vegetable, will make you live longer, and happier i bet this guy does the same: <param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><embed src=" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344">
14. You are all delusional!

The paradox with skeptical people: they are ready to believe anything! If you believe in something, you can't believe everything! If you still believe everything, that shows that you are still in the skeptical (undecided) state. Just watch people that say they are skeptical, or protected from 'delusion'. They are really undecided. Good tests for one's faith. Faith is not something mystical. M Eliade said that Faith is one of the functions of our brain.... It's not worth staying undecided too long, time's a wastin.. Happy trails to ya too!
15. You are all delusional!

The Dude, i'm well aware that it's essential to maintain appearances and for the sake of modesty and good environment i should keep a good attitude and all that... and say pretty words... but you see, you can do that with yourself in front of the mirror, patting you on the back, eventually... you came here with something to say, wanted to be listened, why don't you return the favor? hear this: your thoughts count for nothing. you're easy come easy go. you'll be in vogue for a while, and then dissapear without a trace or rememberance, dust in the wind, is all. do your dance, while it lasts. i'm not any different. there is just a very small difference between you and me. but still, it exists.
16. Tang Dynasty alot of cultural development and exchange bwn buddhism, daoism, islam, manicheism, nestorian christianism
17. You are all delusional!

Different views? People? Neah, it's just an act of real bravery, isn't it, 'That Guy'? So brave of you to come here with a cool mask (nobody knows anything about you - but you surely seem to know next to everything about everyone). So brave of you to attack other people's beliefs, just because you can do it. Really really brave. I'm all (but) impressed.
18. Usually it's the other way around, it's invitation only.
19. Yoda i think MTS's lack of succes here was due to the inherent cultural gap. maybe you could help cross this bridge?? chinese occultism isn't so bad, especially if you're good at it L1 PS: Cool pool
20. Yep I bolded the part i liked the most... Phyisical body is VERY IMPORTANT. Ask a buddhist, they say that the chanse of getting a physical body is once every million eons or so... The physical body is the best tool for alchemy... too bad many neglect it, in favor of 'energy'. Energy is all-pervading, but without a 'cauldron', how can you crystalize it??
21. that's why for us practicing health is more important than anything... but health is practically the last thing that a being that wants to 'ascend to the stars' would think about... how many times didn't i read replies like: 'oh that's not high level, that yelds minor benefits alone, such as health and longevity and stuff' the only people that don't care much for the body health and longevity are buddhists, and not even all of them. for a daoist, health is the first sign that his practice goes well. but you know how it is, when you're young and eager, health is like: 'wha?.. just health? maan, this will just not do!'
22. think about how nature does it, the survival of the.............. was it weakest, or............
23. I don't agree with the 'dilution' idea. There are a fiew that can cope with and get thru a 'diluted' system, no matter what system we are talking about. If the root is good, it will get you pretty far. I think this frustration about 'dilution' would not appear if the guy would practice dilligently. Because, as your internal power grows, you will attract better and better teachers. As we are we are no match for the teachings of an immortal. Or an enlightened being. But gradual progress is a sign that things grow according to natural laws. Many want it all and want it now, but that's just western conditioning. I really believe you can start anywhere, be it reiki, yoga, kundalini, vipassana, tcm, you name it... if you have enough common sense and balanced way of seeing things, you will progress, and you can advance further. So i think the main challenge is frustration = wanting too much and having too little to offer. Practicing too little, but thinking 'they have the right to' this and that... Some call it stupidity, maybe they are right. Also some say that blaming the challenges will make you not understand even one iota of the daoist teachings. Because the challenges are opportunities for proving your strong intention of going all the way on the path. These tests come very often on the path. If we start whinning and complaining, we deserve what we (don't) get. The Chinese say: 三心二意 San Xin Er Yi (Three hearts and two intentions) - Undecisive; not able to make up one's mind And 一心一意 Yi Xin Yi Yi (One heart and one intention) - With great determination And 全心全意 Quan Xin Quan Yi --- Wholeheartedly Edit: spellings
