Ah, what the heck! Bump PS: "Don't you know, bump it up, you gotta bump it up..."

great question indeed! I had an email exchange with Master Juan Li, about the dreaming practices. He founded the I Ching Dao System, which is a variant of the Universal and Healing Dao. He told me that dreaming practice and transcence practices are less to be understood without a clear concept of afterlife. Unfortunately, he said, many of the modern practicioners are more interested in the health, sex and martial aspects of the training. So there is little ground for further spreading and developing this kind of practice. I for myself am interested in the dreaming practices... Is here anyone that had experiences with Master Juan Li's practice? Thanx L1

S.Y.D, if you please, i'm trying to better my understanding on the concepts of Ling, Ling Hun, and Shen. What is the difference between them, and which are their "residence". In what step of the training do interactions with these "concepts" occur. Thank you

Like I said before, people should use their brains before making questions and assumptions. Associating Wang Liping with Falun movement is not what Wang Liping or his followers would want, is it? Just think of the difficult time Chinese practicioners from China have now, because of the events related to the Falungong. Duh... Another thing, there are thousands of people that are participating at the seminars of Master Wang. So if you went there once or twice, what difference does it make. There are many more thousand of "disciples" out there. And who's "clone" are you anyway?

Brilliant. Much needed, but as we'll soon see, nothing will change. Sorry to see you trying to change the world man. We sure have a long way to grow up, but so do you. Your advice: take life as it is. My response: You'd better do the same. This isn't a place where all things must come to a conclusion. It's simply not the place for that. I have mixed feelings towards your contribution... if i'd try to sum it up, it'll still be respect. Nice job L1

What happened with his website? It seems out of business or something.

i can't see it -
Hello everybody, rumor has it there are new laws ready to be implemented worldwide, and some starting grounds have already been isolated as Southern Africa and Northern America, among others have you guys read anything about a set of laws that forbid the growth of food in private farms, and urge the people to buy only from standard approved farms and stuff? Thanks

Thanks Ken! It's a little more clear now. Keep in touch

Thanks Smile, this is what I was searching for. It's feasable, it's bad, it can cause health to go down the drain... I see all the reason for them to apply it someday... Sad. L1

Seminal Retention: What is the best result I can expect from it?
宁 replied to Chi kung apprentice's topic in General Discussion
Follow the link in my signature, you'll find some ideas to help you get a better view. I do this because there was a time I needed this information and no-one could provide it. So I'm basically leaving a trail to all that start anew. Of course you can find various ideas from various sources. It's a pretty complex practice to try without guidance. -
Hi there Ken - any news on your blog? I've been meaning to ask you, what criteria does Mr Zhigang use when he chooses to reveal informations about the nature of the theory and training, on the longmenpai blog. Are they just a teaser, or does he expect for a certain view to cristalize in the mind of the reader. Thanks edit: Ken, if you think you can post some info here that we can't find otherwise, please feel free to do so. Regarding the link you provided, I can't yet read all that, I need maybe another year of learning. Any other English sources?

Great post Taomeow

That's a pretty easy question to respond to: Everything you write on it is JUST FINE. It's like a narrow-fuzzy window into traditional training (I say narrow and fuzzy just to "humble" myself at the fact that without being properly introduced to the traditional training, I cannot say I understand all that you write. Still, there something that I cannot quite understand or explain, that makes all of the text you guys posted quite thrilling.) I'm not into practicing-after-information-found-on-the forums. And I don't agree with uploading any of Shen Zhigang's material, without his consent. Just put here whatever you FEEL it's important. Whatever you can post. It all has been more than interesting. That being said, please try to explain more about the Xia De and Shang De. Also, any translations that you find interesting, on the beginning phases of the practice. Also it may help if you could share something about your experiences. For example, I searched for the film Doing Time, Doing Vipassana. You said that Vipassana helped your neigong practice, I wished to know how exactly. Mind me, I'm not looking for technical details on the practices. The Traditional Perspective on things is what I find most interesting. I take the opportunity to thank you for your efforts, and add that this teachings have a life and destiny of their own - it's like the Latin saying, books have their fate - the fact that they are working, living and developing practices make them act and help people in most unusual ways. You can never know who gets it in the end Well, enough yappin' from me. I'm sure all of our (fiew) interested friends are waiting for ANYTHING you can post on the topic above. We thank you all. E.

What Smile said. He put it mildly though. Here's a strong idea: running away from your current life is the fastest way to screw it. All the problems that you have now are Life's gift to you, to help you evolve. If you throw that away and run in an ashram or monastery, in the end, you will loose. Take it one thing at a time. The harder the challenge, the greater the strength. Good luck L1 PS: I know many of you long for this, i did too, once. If Life loves you, IT'LL make you understand... -
I think a thread like this deserves a better view... Taoist Discussion?
