me, i love animals. in my fork. with ketchup, i also preffer to kill what i eat, it's just being honest about it. i would however like to turn veggie maybe later, in my 40's, i'm afraid it's a farfetched plan thou' Tulku cut it out already, you made your point many many times -
there's more horse manure than horse stance on this thread, i wanted to post something on the actual practice, but it seems so out of place! edit: actually i got it, holding the horse stance for too long does have an effect on bowel movement! there i went, taking a dump on your thread as well.

i guess most people would still want to give it a try anyway, for the most part the we westerners thinks of these practices more or less in terms of an ancient ~ and therefore simple ~ psychology training [with a twist], Jung had his part to play in this mess and it kinda makes sense, right, how advanced could that ancient form of psychology be anyway, that an educated Western intellectual could not make sense of? ridiculous eh? i would take YM's advice on this though, he knows what he's talking about

Shaolin Yijinjing Gengmenpai qigong seminar with Dr. Jiang Feng in China, November 2012.
宁 replied to grady's topic in General Discussion
indeed i spoke to one of my friends that visits Jiang every three months for training and corrections, and he confirmed that Jiang's older students (Western ones) do have the capacity to issue Qi in the form of electric current, so in the spirit of honesty i have to admit it could be true, this friend of mine is not fond of nonsense. nonetheless they don't pay any charges for the training, some indeed do undergo some of the treatment Jiang prescribes but the fact still remains most of them didn't ever pay for teachings and training. so you can understand my doubts, 4000$ is not peas and carrots. what can a 10 day seminar offer, that repeated FREE visits and empowerments could not cover? btw I'm in China as we speak, am very familiar with the lack of transparency people here are used to when doing business, maybe in China is normal and natural, but I'm sure you can understand that in other cultures that can and will come across as shady and double standard. -
as soon as the new version of firefox installed i also got this message, i believe the two events maybe related

that, and cut the weed, too much is too much, haha. in my understanding entities feed on energy, good ones prefer good energy (or is that they aren't good intrinsicaly, just good because you feed them good stuff), whilst others prefer negative energy. i think the best way to ward them off is garlic, or spirit. but not spirits. now i'm confused.

I want bliss really badly. What is the quickest path to my goal?
宁 replied to dc9's topic in General Discussion
well the cosmic hugg is surely some good medicine, there's nothing like the feeling that no one cares for you to get you started on the wrong path. yeah K, there's a lot of advice pouring in from everywhere, i still put my money on DETOX though. the body is the surest place to start from, the best to start clearing your life from. energy is overrated, until you clear yourself up it will make little difference, best case scen. -

you have a problem with pharmacies, i have a problem with gurus that sell kundalini online. especially confused types end up in deeper shit than they started to begin with. at least you're safe to take an aspirin for a headache. btw, therapy doesn't necessarely mean western type. but if you brought pills into discussion here you go then. the therapy i had in mind is a strong physical detox. he has to purge out all the crack that lingers on in his system. then build up with good nutrition and physical exercise, may try TJQ just for kicks. and am sure there are plenty of naturist clinics everywhere in the world to choose from. if the body is shit, don't expect miracles, regardless what online gurus may get you to buy into. -

btw, most teachers of whatever do recommend fixing mental and emotional issues BEFORE engaging in any spiritual or energy practice. my point is he needs a therapist, someone to work with and for him his first mile. -

don't assume too much, there are good and bad professionals in any field you can name. yes a pill is not always a sollution but sometimes it makes the difference between life and death. i know people that ran into worse things running AWAY from pills. remember that you share a responsibility for any advice you give to an individual in his condition. are you really trained to deal with this kind of condition? -

what good advice? did he take any? reading books? come on, K... what he needs is professional advice. lingering on esoteric forums and trying funny things is the total opposite of help. -

Beginner's [REAL] Magick: Instruction Q&A
宁 replied to Disabled Not Broken's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
it's Ning, the name. dolphy is not bad though. dolphy? adolph? haha. i'm afraid i for one learned more about magick from your posts, on this thread. maybe it's cuz you already have a foot in the taoistic world. that aside, qigong and neigong are secular lay practices, and attract people that feel the need of touching an Universe that's not anthropomorphized, maybe the idea of adding a face and human~like features to Qi is the one that scares the rest of us off magickalities.- 202 replies
