  1. Beginner's [REAL] Magick: Instruction Q&A

it's precisely because i appreciate and respect your effort that i bothered to post, you can say is altruism from my part, i care about your efforts and free time. for a person that is trained to sense the intent of spirit beings, i expected you understand mine. of course human to human communication can be trickier, especially amoungst people with minimum social skills (such as closet daoists and witches). nevermind that, keep at it, i'll be reading your posts
  2. Beginner's [REAL] Magick: Instruction Q&A

look, why do you think we're asking you to share experiences? inviting an entity, enochian or not, into your energy field is not a good idea. it's like inviting a stranger to sleep with your wife. people here had VERY bad experiences with these sort of things. it may come as silly to you, practicing this stuff since you were a child and all, but the rest of us aren't that open to this kind of experiences, NOT without knowing they do it right. i think you're right, your methods are a bit out of sync with the way people practice here. i for one am interested at least on a theoretic level, but i'm not going to jump head first into any rituals, and i expect that at least the male bums should have the same mindset. it's like saying, deliver a sharp blow to your genitals, and see what happens. why? are you to shy to do it, weeeelll, the proof is in the pudding. like i said, not the same approach to practice & all i hope you won't take it the hard way, i feel you are really sensitive. but please, Understand.
  3. how about some free tips on managing your money house, i'd be happy to hear them, and so will most of the bums. there are too few here that would have a four digit sum to spend on qigong training.
  4. Beginner's [REAL] Magick: Instruction Q&A

to my knowledge this knowledge belongs to the dragons, it's impossible to activate without awaking and/or taming of the inner dragon
  5. Beginner's [REAL] Magick: Instruction Q&A

so how is the Qi used for magick, more exactly? why is it needed? why can theQi of other beings be used just as efficiently? what is the precise hierarchy of the inner instruments, i mean does intent rule over energy? what about knowledge and emotions?
  6. Beginner's [REAL] Magick: Instruction Q&A

okay, beggers can't be choosers haha. don't worry, there is ALOT of interest in magick on TTB. 慢慢来,easy does it. good luck
  7. Beginner's [REAL] Magick: Instruction Q&A

so how is it that you can write books about it, but you can't share? if you start sharing experiences, you will get the atention you need (and / or probably deserve. i'll keep my fingers crossed
  8. Beginner's [REAL] Magick: Instruction Q&A

oh we're reading we're reading... i think i may have an answer as to why all the hostility, it's because the approach differs, in qigong you have to practice more and study less, in magick these two go hand in hand, and as i see in your post DNB you often have to study extensively before you even begin. in qigong that can be a sidetracker, because it steals valuable time of practice. so if you come and copy-paste alot of information (however valuable it may be) you will be seen as a book mole, and not a serious practitioner. ever more so as you guys don't say anything specific about the actual experiences, it's all so mysterious. in most qigong schools you get to read alot of testimonials, and many qigong practitioners share experiences in a very detailed manner. 'i did this, and combined with that, and got that and that result'. i hope my post is not interpreted as hostile, it's not my intention.
  9. i'm sure i know haha, i've seen where does this line of thinking makes one end up, nowhere good so we're discussing magick archetypes? well, i'm in the middle right now, like many others, feeling no real connection to the Christian ones, because of my upbringing, Luciferian ones don't seem so appealing either. maybe that's why i got into Daoism
  10. mmmyeah i heard alot about this stuff also, it's unavoidable if you mix with a certain kind of people if you catch ma drift.. i'm quite sure most of it is bs at it's best, and even if it were true, there is nothing we can do about it. i suggest you give it a rest, it's bad for the health, mental..
  11. We Are Tao Fans!

okay Stosh, but only if you promise! haha, happy trails everyone..
  12. haha, well to many Christians Harry Potter has a very bad reputation. though i must say the movies had some food for thought here and there well, testimonials, as in well, haha, how about when you invoked entities? what was he like? you know, good trip vs bad trip..
  13. i'm not sure about that, i know freemasons that say the illuminati are the bad apple, and alot more powerful that themselves too, acting on many levels, including the astral one dunno about that, what is certain is that they themselves use alot of ritual, it seems to have deep psychollogical effects... i admit that if you open a book about ritual magick it looks pretty scary, and gives off some unsettling vibes
  14. We Are Tao Fans!

haha, true that! that's where i am, and not shy to admit it. 'm a fan though, a juge fan
  15. fair enough... i read tons of Christian testimonials as i grew up with a very religious mother, and some of them included born-again warlocks and witches haha, they sure give you some perspective there is a predominant idea that the god of magick is Belial, only that it is recognized by the magickians as you call them as the true god, instead of the god of the old testament, which fancies genocide and that sort of stuff... i wish i could read Magickian testimonials, just to balance my view on these things. are you aware of any reliable ones? or, could you provide one? how about a good experience with magickal entities, and then a not so good one, is it ok like that? if the other magickians want to share some, i will greately appreciate it. do you guys know anything about this http://dragonrouge.net/ ?
  16. well, umm... i'm glad i insisted haha what about the horror stories that you hear are a result of magickal practice? insanity, possession, delusion, and such...? some say you should never trust a spirit, all that they are after is your energy [human plane energy seems rather pretious for some reason] and, also, people say spirits and entities are not good news, some lose control over these phenomena, and people around them have to suffer as well i've seen some documentaries also about this, oddly on Discovery haha... people toying with magick and ending up with terrible poltergeist phenomena that bothered them and the neighbours. i'm sure the spirit world is pretty colorful , and intents and attitude of those entities are legion, so to speak haha BTW, did you guys read Taoist Master Chuang, by M. Saso? You can see interesting Taoist Ritual Practice there, the symbols and diagrams are mighty familiar.. is there a Beware part in it?
  17. i'm sure you noticed, down to earth, reasonable and common sense ~~ these aren't strong points of casual practice talk on TTB. happy to see a like-minded person though, IMO posts like yours indicate that sanity hasn't left this earthly plane altogether, haha i find it funny that i understand alot easier what people that don't understand what you witches and warlocks are pointing at, oh, wait, that didn't come out right, haha
  18. We Are Tao Fans!

so i guess you're not into marriage or planning to haha well... let's put it like this, 1 - i don't know about you guys, but i haven't found, available for the public, even one single path of cultivation that CAN, with verifiable results, take you from level zero up the ladder to wherever you can reach, within the limits of your lifespan of course they all promis that, does it really happen? you see bits and pieces of practices, sometimes bigger chuncks that seem to have some good effect, but not the whole enchilada, why is that? 2 - do you know what it reminds me of? my uncle was a... well, mmm.. domestic appliances repair guy, you know, the kind of guy that you'd send your TV or radio [okay, some 20+ years ago] for fixin i saw him dismantling all kind of domestic appliances and put it together and make it work. the kind of practices that most of us are involved with, do you know what it looks like? ~~~ a dismantled apparatus, that nobody knows how it looked initially, and everyone piece it together how they see fit, according to their intuition. of course, it buzzes, of course it gets hot, sometimes you can see sparks flying off it, but is it really what it's supposed to do? is it really a wonder that so many get hurt in the process? MAYBE it's the radio that used to catch the tune of the PRIMORDIAL VOID MAYBE is the panacea universalis, that will cure any and all disease Maybe... there's alot of maybes here, you see. can i call all this by it's proper name, call all this TAO and TAOISM? i would just fool myself that way. wouldn't it be more honest and sincere to call it for what it is?
  19. whaaat? just synchronicities? no real juju? meh...
  20. We Are Tao Fans!

i like. how should i put it another way... i know and i respect all that you said as good and valuable, undeniably that way whoever said those things are less than that eh? and, do they really need a dao/tao/daoist/taoist label? red label walking daoist, haha of course they are part of the Whole, each of us is part of it
  21. We Are Tao Fans!

@ ZT, everywhere i look i see this: wealthy people wanting more money beautiful girls wanting to be more beautiful healthy naturists seeking even more health in my opinion, you are still projecting, remember, we don't know much about that culture either for instance, just a small example: what pushes us forward, as you pointed well, is motivation and desire what makes them go thru their incredible difficult trainig [that helps them overcome their physical and psychological limits], is something else, something we don't talk much in the West ~~~ DEDICATION what do you [all] think is the difference between Motivation and Dedication? how do they work, what can each accomplish?
  22. We Are Tao Fans!

sorry for your loss, rene, i hope you can find the comfort that you need be well,
  23. i tried to read through the tread but all i got was a headache what is it exactly that you do, guys? how? why?
  24. We Are Tao Fans!

@rene, i like your signature, we DO believe in things that bring us comfort. is what brings us comfort necessarely true? we're not debating a status or being validated or invalidated by others, you see although one may take the discussion this way, changing something exact and precise [at it's roots, even today] into a cultural mish-mash is of course an option, and may appear more generous than accepting facts as they are; more warm, more human, more joyful. who can refuse something like this to someone? 'all is one, all is god, all is joy, all is spirit, even those funny daoists said that at some point` ~~ this is not where i'm coming from. so people would say, if Dao is NOT that, i for one am not interested anymore. well guess what, we always overimpose/overlap our personal cultural luggage on things we know little about, in the end what does this turn into? i see it turning into having the illusion of knowing something about it, when in fact, we know only what we project on it...
  25. We Are Tao Fans!

no, you got it all wrong, poney can only do poney stance, haha
