I enjoyed learning both Kunlun and Shuichuan. It was fun taking the workshops and privates with Max while he gave them. I have more recently enjoyed taking the Shuichuan course. When I was studying with Max and taking the privates, I noticed a lot of mystical type things happening. Shuichuan is taught by email lessons from the teacher Elisabeth. A transmission is also given that way. Shuichuan is practical in that you learn things on how to help you with day to day life. For example, besides the spontaneous movement meditation practice, a divination technique to help you with decisions is taught. Healing is taught. A way to connect with your animal spirits is taught. I am also learning how to protect against negative energy. I enjoyed taking the course the last few months. Craig

I would recommend the Shuichuan course. Elisabeth is a very good teacher and is patient with her students even if it is by internet for the correspondence students. She gave my wife some healings to get rid of some negative energy that was effecting her. There are several techniques that are taught in the course. The beginning exercise is called Zi Fa Gong (spontaneous movement meditation). It is taught standing but I have found that I can do it laying down, sitting, and also walking. I like the course. I can definitely feel the energy when I am practicing it. I also learned Kunlun. At first the energy felt different. Now though sometimes the energy seems like it comes from the same source. I guess the energies of the two have mixed for me. Craig

I've been taking the course with my wife since June. I like the course and the teacher Elisabeth is pretty good. She puts a lot of thought into the emails she writes to us. The course covers a lot of things like Zi Fa Gong (spontaneous movement meditation), Shuichuan Divination, and Wai Qi Healing. You also to learn to become aware of your inner animal forces that protect and help you. My wife and I both like the course. Craig

Should Li Jiong be banned from Tao Bums
portcraig replied to mYTHmAKER's topic in General Discussion
No don't ban him. He has a right to promote his courses like the other teachers. I purchased his courses and I have had some good experiences. If you don't like his posts don't read them. -
I signed up for the 30 day free trial from LiJiong and started to practice the wuji standing. I have practiced Nei Kung and standing for several years so I wanted to see what he had to offer. An interesting thing happened is that even before I received permission to download the course that I started to feel an inner heat come over me. I read on LiJiong's website that when you connect to the Xuanji Matrix that one of the most common things one will feel is to feel warm or hot. I thought after experiencing this, that what he is teaching must be authentic so I started practicing it. I hadn't felt that inner heat before while doing standing. I also purchased his two other courses. The second course deals with bagua which I like doing after the wuji standing. LiJiong may come across too strong for some people on this forum but you may like to try the 30 day free trial to see if you can connect with what he is teaching. Craig

KAP Kundalini Awakening Process Dr. Glenn Morris

It looks interesting to learn and fun to practice. I am just wondering if you run into a cold blooded killer if it would work on the street. Especially if they are not angry and have no emotions involved. Craig -
KAP Kundalini Awakening Process Dr. Glenn Morris
portcraig replied to Vajrasattva's topic in General Discussion
I asked my Pencak Silat teacher Pendekar William Sanders of his viewpoint on these videos of repelling the punches using Tenaga Dallam. Pendekar Sanders said that the teachers he had spoken to who taught this skill all had the attacker draw up the emotion of anger before they attacked. They told him that if the attacker was calm and had no emotions that it would not work. He said that one of his students could do this skill and demonstrated it at seminars. At one seminar though, he told a girl to hit him and she proceeded to him in the nose. Pendekar Sanders said that the girl didn't get angry before she attacked. Santiago may have learned another method of doing this where you don't have to get the attacker to get angry so I don't know if what Pendekar Sanders said applied to what he is teaching. Santiago could be teaching something different. Craig -
I've heard Max say that he combined Kunlun with Red Phoenix which hadn't been done before and that is how he was able to have the golden dragon body experience. I personally have had inner experiences with the long line of Masters of Max's lineage so I know he is authentic and not just another qigong teacher. There are many inner masters working with him. Also I have met students of his who have had the golden dragon body and golden phoenix experience. That is very encouraging to see a student actually achieving what the teacher is talking about. Golden Dragon body is similar to Rainbow body from what Max has said. In Rainbow body they have achieved their enlightenment and disappeared from this plane and they leave behind hair and fingernails, etc. In Golden Dragon body they have the option to remain on this plane if they chose. The disappearing part is just a sign that someone has achieved this enlightenment. They are not trying to escape reality. They have mastered this world. They can then chose if they want to remain here to help other people.

Santiago, I did do the practices that Glen taught us at the seminar. He gave us a tape to listen to which I listened to for a couple of months. I just did not feel that much happening so I went back to my previous practice. Perhaps I was comparing it to what I learned about ten years earlier from Asha Ma and Gurumayi. I think because of their lineage it is easier to transmit kundalini type experiences to their students. I was just giving my experience. Other people will have their own. I did think Glen was a nice person. I remember I did a meditation practice with Glen at the seminar where we sat back to back. I remember his back as being pretty hot so obviously he did generate a lot of energy. When he looked at our auras he would point out things. I remember him doing a healing on me after seeing something in my aura and that made me feel better. I enjoyed the shaking and moving around experience we did at the seminar. That was sort of fun. I did enjoy the Level 1 of the seminar enough because as I recall I went back the next weekend for Level 2. I just got back from the Kunlun seminar in Los Angeles. I saw a couple of Tao Bum guys there. It was quite a crowd. I think maybe about 80 to 100 people were attending the seminar. Max mentioned at the lecture last night that another student had achieved Golden Dragon body so that makes 3 now. The last one only had been studying for 5 months. I spoke to Kan, his first student who achieved the golden dragon body state and he mentioned that he was at Starbucks drinking a cup of coffee and his arm disappeared. He said people started pointing at him. He also told me that he was on a train and he had his arm against the wall and it went through it. He said everyone also again started pointing at him. He told me that Max taught him a special practice so his body would quit disappearing and that he could stay in this world. Craig

I have met both Glen and Max so I thought I should describe my experience with the spiritual practices that they both taught. I met Glen I think about 3 or 4 years ago when I took a 2 weekend kundalini seminar with Glenn and I think her name was Susan. It was held near San Francisco. I had shaktipat from them. I didn't feel very much happening so after a few months I stopped that practice that I had learned from them. I did find Glen to a nice person. He did seem to be able to look at people and see their auras and describe things in it. Santiago was maybe more spiritually advanced or perhaps very open to what Glen had to teach so I guess he had better experiences. I had shakitpat previously from Gurumayi and Asha Ma and I did have spiritual things happen in my meditation practices from their practices so shakitpat and kundalini wasn't new to me. Glenn told me that since I had previous experiences with shakitpat and kundalini he would be interested in having me keep a log on how his system worked for me. Since nothing really happened for me I didn't follow up with that. I met Max last August and have practiced Kunlun since then. I am still at the practice and I like the things that have happened to me in my meditation and in dreams. I guess every person needs to find the teacher that is right for them but for me the practice with Max has been a very positive experience. Craig

Max mentioned to me that Masters sometimes fake their death and then disappear for awhile. They then return at a later time to see how their disciples acted while they were gone. It is a test for the disciples.

I believe the guy Smile is referring to can be found at this website. I believe Max was one of his teachers. http://www.dragongatesanctuary.com/Welcome.html

I went to 5 seminars between August and November. Still practicing what I learned. Lately I am have been getting up at 3 am to practice. It seems to be going well. Spending a lot of time lately on Kunlun Level 2. Craig

Standing is the same thing as the 5 elements. It is called the Maoshan 5 elements. Max requests that we not discuss the Red Phoenix practice.

Max told me that once you reach Golden Dragon Body, you chose if you want to remain here. If you decide you want to remain then you can either live like a monk or you can teach. There are also different levels of Golden Dragon Body. You'll have to ask Max if you want anymore information because that is all I was told. I think it is a state that is hard to describe.

I asked Max what happened when Kan achieved GDB and he mentioned that some of things that Kan had reported was that he had dissolved into a field of light and had become every molecule that had ever existed.
-
Max told me in a private a few weeks ago that Kan had recenlty achieved Golden Dragon Body. Max had sent him off to go on a 9 day fast to try to accomplish the Golden Dragon Body and Kan was able to achieve it during the fast.

I don't think you have to be hung up on the hour time limit. Max has always told me to just practice till you feel like stopping. He said eventually you will be able to be done in 5 minutes. Max has said that you can practice when you are doing other things like walking or watching TV. He also mentioned to learn to live your practice so you are practicing at all times of the day even when you are talking to people. I think he is referring to the Red Phoenix practice when he said that. I usually have two practice sessions. One in the morning when I wake up which goes for about a hour to a hour and a half. I practice the standing Maoshan 5 elements, Kunlun 1 and 2, and Red Phoenix. Then a short session before bed which usually goes about 20 to 30 minutes. I also practice while I am taking an evening walk. Craig

Golden Dragon Body of a master would be seen with the inner eyes such as in meditation so you can't make a video clip of it. I also doubt if a Master would levitate, if he is able to do something like this, just to prove to a skeptic that it is for real.

If there isn't the evidence for some of you to study Kunlun the solution is clear. Don't study it. No one is making you or trying to convince you to study it. Follow your path. For me even though I had my doubts I wanted to check it out so I did. I liked it so I have stayed with it. It probably isn't what some of you shoud be studying. Craig

Jakara, I like studying with Max and didn't mind paying for the book or attending a seminar. If you aren't interested that is fine too! I was jut posting for people who might be interested and to give my opinion that at least some people consider Kunlun and studying with Max a genuine and authentic path. I am not trying to convince anyone to follow it. I have had inner confirmation thorugh meditation on some of the things Max has talked about. Those experiences came about 4 months after exclusively practicing what I learned from Max in August. They didn't come right away after I read the book or went to the seminar. I guess I have an affinity to what Max teaches that is why I stuck to the practice and had the experiences. If a person justs buy the book or learns the technique from someone describing it partly on the forum and tries it once or twice I doubt they would have any experiences. Regarding "death" experiences you are having similar experiences to one who dies has, you are not really dying. The Tibetan master I referred to is a Tibetan and is a Rinpoche who visits the U.S. Wun Yuen Gong, according to Max, Golden Dragon body is the highest state a Daoist can achieve. In Rainbow Body your body disappears but you leave behind the hair and fingernails. Golden Dragon body you can maintain the physical body. Craig

I just got back from the lecture Max gave in Los Angeles. The room was packed. Must have been about 60 or 70 persons in a fairly small room. A lot of the people I had seen before. Several people gave testimonials on how Kunlun had helped them or told the type of experiences they were having. One of Max's top students was there. She has been having some pretty strong "death" experiences and is about ready to have the golden dragon body experience. She tried to put into words about what she has been experiencing. It was inspiring to listen to her. It show that Kunlun can lead you to the highest experience if you really want that. Max mentioned that the transmission helps you to get connected to the 2701 masters of the Kunlun lineage. If you really work at this path maybe you will see them in your meditation. Max told about recently he met with a very high level Tibetan Master. Max said that they were able to communicate mind to mind without words. The Tibetan Master's Los Angeles representative was there and gave Max some gifts as appreciation. Max mentioned that the Tibetan Master is going to start having some of his students add Kunlun to their practice. To me Kunlun is a genuine and authentic path and I am happy that I am on it. From what I heard at the lecture I am not the only one that feels that way. Craig

WYG, I had my doubts eliminated when I had some inner experiences which showed me what Max was teaching was true, at least for me. Perhaps that is because I have an affinity in what he is teaching so I was open to experience that. Maybe the proof that you want would come not from the outside but from the inside when you meet the master you are supposed to study with. Craig
