I have a question. What if you don`t know what you`re allergic to? I think I just got an alergy, because my right eye (eye lid) was swollen when I woke up this morning, also have a feeling like I`m going to get a head ache. I also have a weird feeling in my body. I`ve already taken a pill, because I can`t afford to have an allergy right now. But this hasn`t happened to me for quite some time. But in the past, I`d also get rashes. One time I was in our capital city with my dad watching a basketball game live, and when we went for a drink later I felt tired, and people commented that my face is a bit swollen. Went to the hospital and they gave me a shot of something in my bum. Also, is it possible that the allergy is somehow related to my liver? During the night there was a big thunderstorm that woke me up and kept me from sleeping for some time. During that time, I felt wierd and had pain in my liver every once and a while. So I`m thinking that it might be related somehow. I have the Energy Medicine book too. Will check out the allergy part.

Well I got 18 out of 25 possible points for my paper. I expected it to be around 20... But it`s ok, considering that I got the books I wanted one day before deadline, when my paper was basically finished (it was still being corrected by my cousin). So I did the paper with the stuff I had before, didn`t use these two books. I`m thinking of returning them to Amazon, as I have no use of them anymore. I`m just not sure if it pays of or not, it seems like half (or more maybe) of the money I`ll get back, will be spent on shipping anyway. Oh well, now I have to get myself to study sociology for the written exam. Have time `till Wednesday...

Not sure, translating from Slovene it comes out a "midget planet", but I don`t think it`s called that in English, maybe a planetoid? The thing is, they`ve found objects as big as Pluto or bigger, that are not classified as planets. Can`t find anything up to date on the net, just finding stuff from 1999. One term I`ve found (but from 1999) is a "trans-neptunian object"...

lmao Is there something wrong with vaginas?

Cool stuff. But the one called "squat, upward press and pull up" or something like that, was a bit weird to me. And no hindu pushups?

Okay Shieky, now I think Joe Rogan is cool...

I think this is BS. Time is already connected. There`s no future or past, all thing are happening simultaneously. It`s just that we can`t percieve that, and it would be overwhelming for the normal person. Even Einstein said something like "Time is an illusion, that stubornly persists". Interesting thing what the authors says in a book called "Tao of Meditation", is that we are 3D beings, and so percieve time as past, present, future (though present doesn`t really exist). But a 4D being would see time just as an another dimension and future and past don`t exist then, everything is NOW. As I understand it, this is possibly what you get with enlightenment. When (if) time travel is discovered (and some say it already is) I think it won`t matter if you go to the past and change the future. The thing is there infinite realites. And so when you change the past, you`ll just create another one. A lot of claims are made for 2012. There was a lot of claims made for 2000 as well. I think a lot of the people just want to earn some money before that time, or get some exposure.... But we shall see soon enough... -
I`ve been reading a bit, the older topics here (now that I know how, thanks to Trunk ), and some are just awesome (like revenge of the sith, subliminals). I`m thinking about doing some necromancy and bring them back to life. But for now, I just wanted to say what a great poem this is! Surprised that no one commented before.

I occassionaly click on the "last click" bouton to see what others are reading. I noticed that peple read topics that I can`t find. They`re in the "Taoist discussion" section, but when I check that section later, it goes only to the 3rd page. Why is that? And where can I read the rest of the topics? Thanks, Peter

Thanks. It`s supposed to be ajna chakra. Can`t remember where I got it though.

I like your (smiling) avatar too.

Welcome to the club. Though there seem to be a reggresion, with the more time you spend here, from tao master to tao bum. I hope that doesn`t relate to real life. EDIT: Oops, no longer a master. I`m already an addict... Is this reversable?

No agenda. But I don`t want others to be uncomfortable because of my avatar. I changed it. Will try to find a picture of me that doesn`t look aggressive.

Well, don`t I feel stupid right now. Thanks a lot.

Training with INBI & Oleg Tcherne in Bulgaria for all
Pero replied to sunshine's topic in General Discussion
I should know by that time, so I will let you know. -
Yes, I know of Namkhai Norbu, and the webcasts, a qigong/MA teacher told me about it. There was a Guru yoga transmission recently, but I missed it by a day. Will try to watch/hear the next one. I had no intent with my avatar, it`s just a picture. Though maybe it does look agressive. Do you think I should change it?

Too bad I missed it, though I don`t speak German. Just Slovene (obviously lol), English and Serbo-Croatian. Will keep an eye on it from now on. That would be great. -
I think Yoda practices or practiced it.

Good question. This is interesting also: "Level 5 (Prerequisite Level 4: Practice for a minimum of one year) Objective: Insights into self-realization: Samadhi, Sunyata & Siddhis. The training for Level 5 is to be conducted in a CFQ retreat of 7 days. Contents: Perfection of radiant body equals Emptiness; Perfection of Detachment (possible only if there is Emptiness) is samadhi. Moving out from Emptiness to examine truth (siddhi)." Does this mean realization of emptiness?

I did stuff like that to, but not with any meaningful purpose. If I had to remember something (like what to buy at the groceries) I kept repeating it. After a while, it didn`t make any sense to me. Actually, this reminded me about another thing I read in a book by Slavinski. I think it was in his Keys to Psychic Magick (though I don`t know if it exists in English). The repeating of ones own name or nickname was used as a means to achieve astral projection I believe. He was describing the same thing as you. Word begins to sound weird, loses meaning, foreign, after some time you beging to sort of look at yourself from a distance. Don`t remember exactly how it went, and I borrowed the book to a friend. I think it was something related to the fact that we identify ourselves with the name. Slavinski has really good stuff, I just wish I practiced it. When I first came into contact with his work, I was still mostly theoretical and gaining mental balast as he says. After I gained some "weight" I started practicing, but it wasn`t his stuff that I was interested in at that time. I think he hasn`t got all his books in English, or does he? "Keys to Psychic Magick" is really good, also "Psychic Training of the Yogis" and "Sunjata". These were my favorites, but I have a few others as well. Haven`t been to any seminars yet, and when I looked for it a bit I didn`t anything for this year, found 2003/04. And even if I would find something, I`m not sure if I`m ready. I would like to go to a Sunyata seminar, PEAT and Gnostic intesive are interesting, but I`m not sure that I`m ready for the work in diads. Telling about myself to a total stranger....

I was actually surprised when I saw a link Daoist Camp - Slovenia. I checked it out, but didn`t find any information other than info about my country (and others) and some description of practices. Are the seminars held in English? Because I saw that the books and videos are mostly in Spanish and Russian. Best regards -

This sounds very interesting. I`d love to go, but since it`s during the week, I`ll very likely have classes at that time. Maybe some other time... The seminar itself isn`t expensive - 75 euros for 6 hours a day for three days... And I hear Bulgaria isn`t an expensive country. Are you going Harry? How much in advance do you have to book yourself? Otherwise the site looks pretty interesting, will explore a bit. Thanks. -
Thanks, I though it`s something like that, but wasn`t sure, never heard it before. Well, this certainly is an interesting topic and quite informative. I thnk I might have some questions (not just on topic though) but I have to read it again first.

This exercise gave me some associations. When I was a kid I once played with a schoolmates name, so I kept repeating it in my head. And his name could be used so, that in Slovene, it meant sort of like he˙s crossing himself (like making a cross with a pencil). After a few moments I completely forgot his name. I tried to remember, but my mind was blank. So I had to ask him, which was weird since I knew him for some years. The other thing your exercise remebered me on, was one of the exercises in a book by Slavinski called Sunjata (maybe in English it would be Shoonyata? it means emptiness I think). I`ll describe it. "Who`s in your head? Stretch your index finger and point it at one of the objects in the room and say in yourself: "Here is human being" or "Here is (located) a _______"(and say the name of the thing). Then point the index finger towards another thing or person and again say in yourself: "Here is _____" Repeat that for a third time. Now point the index finger towards your head, but don`t touch it and close your eyes. Now give yourself this question with emphasis: "Who is (located) here?" When the seminar of Sunjata is finished and you do this same exercise, the result will be completely different. The Pure Awareness of Emptiness will be here." Don`t know how all this is related to your exercise, but it crossed my mind and I just thought I`d share. If I try your exercise I will post my experience, however, I`m lazy and have a lot of other stuff to do, so I can`t promise anything.

There are different things called Buddha palm. Buddha palm is mostly a form of qigong I believe. In the cosmic healing book there is a Buddha palm form which is "designed to train the practicioner in the movement and channeling of Chi." I have also heard a different version of the Buddha palm, where it was 12 or 18 (can`t remember) standing positons. And there is also a form Buddha palm in one (or maybe more) style of kung fu (hung gar I think). And then I also have a book which is describing the 18 Buddha hands qigong. Here`s the link: 18 Buddha Hands Qigong

What does "sexually rev'd" mean?
