  1. Are KAP and AYP compatible practices?

I can only repeat what I already said - "From my experience, with all due respect to Yogani and all those that practice AYP, I would have to say that, in my personal opinion, AYP is flawed." No one has to take any notice of my opinion, but that's what it is. I'm not saying that I am an expert or anything. AYP is an experiment in "Kundalini for the masses". Yogani has stated as much, and it is in the process of change. I am happy for you that you were able to use AYP to cure an addiction, that's great. AYP has many powerful techniques, that's for certain. I am sure many people get along fine on it. But I know that more than a few have had problems with it. I noticed a recent thread on the AYP forum by a long time AYP practitioner, with a long term problem that he solved by practicing outside of the AYP box. So, although I don't want to ruffle anyone feathers, I can only give my honest opinion.
  2. Are KAP and AYP compatible practices?

I practiced AYP for just over a year, then moved on to KAP when I developed Chi sickness. In AYP the energy is run up and down the spine between the base center and the "third eye" center. There is no Microcosmic Orbit practiced. There is no work done on the Crown center - not directly anyway. All experiences are regarded as "scenery" to be largely ignored. Everything regarding Chakras, meridians etc is regarded as "under the hood", also to be largely ignored. Personally I would say that AYP and KAP are not compatible. In fact in many ways the systems are almost opposite to each other. From my experience, with all due respect to Yogani and all those that practice AYP, I would have to say that, in my personal opinion, AYP is flawed. Way
  3. KAP syllabus

That great. There are about 12 people in Tao's joint KAP2 and apart from the odd comment or two, I'm really the only one that writes a journal. I doubt if any of the others even reads it. But I know that Tao reads it, and that what's important to me. Also, I find that it helps me to "earth" my experiances, some of which can be very subtle. Have fun and enjoy k112! Way :-)
  4. KAP syllabus

It depends on your motivation. If you feel you would like to share and discuss your experiences with a wider range of people, and find it helpful, then the Bums would be a good place. My personal view is that my KAP practice is a personal process that I would prefer to keep between myself, my teacher and the few others that may be experiencing similar things and also wish to share. Everyone is different - I know Mal likes to post here and that fine for him, plus Santi also posts here and so will comment on his posts. Why don't you post about it in your group and talk about there before you decide?
  5. KAP syllabus

Hi Pat - I also practiced AYP until I started having problems. And, like you, Tao sorted me out in no time. You are in the same class as my wife. :-) I think it is a shame that you would rather keep a journal on the bums than in the class facebook page. Yes - it will seem quiet compared to here, but it depends on why you want to keep one. The way I see it, the more you write in a class journal, the better Tao will get to know you, the more he will be able to teach and help you. I do quite a bit of writing in the KAP2 group, and yes it is quiet, but there is quite a bit in level 2 that you might not like to post about in a public forum. I see it not so much as informing others but more of a download - just to get stuff out of my head. Anyway, that's just me. Way :-)
  6. Long Distance KUNDALINI KAP Training through Skype

Ah, you decided to give it a try - great. which class did you book?
  7. got new(to me) music

Thanks for the tip - I have found lots of his music on Napster.
  8. Kunlun/Yogani

Who says you have to do all three levels? Try KAP1, see how you get on. KAP1 is all you need to get going. Think of it as $25 a lesson for 3 months, with skype and email support.
  9. Kunlun/Yogani

I thought that I would chime in here as I did alot of AYP and have just finished KAP. I found that AYP did get my kundalini going, but because they dicourage all that is "under the hood" and dicribe all experiances as "scenery" - to be enjoyed but not paid much attention to, I was suffering more and more from chi sickness. I joined KAP out of desperation, and Tao sorted me out in no time, and I have learned much useful stuff in the meantime. With all due respect to yogani, I vote for KAP - there is nothing like having a personal instuctor to help you understand what is happening to you when Shakti starts to awake.
  10. The collected works of Blissmusic

Hi Kip, I just thought that I'd say that I recently bought "The Calling" cd set as a present for my wife. I have to say that I was pretty sceptical about the claims made on your site, but I thought that it would make a nice gift. We have had them for about 10 days now, and have been playing them every day. I would say that they definetly have a unique quality about them. They also seem to enhance yoga practice etc. I practice chi gung to them and it is a beautiful experiance. I feel like a huge angel in an infinite stary space. It sure get things moving. My wife wants me to order the other set, and though they seem a bit expensive compared to music CDs, I personally think they are well worth it. Beautiful work - thank you. Way
  11. Long Distance KUNDALINI KAP Training through Skype

Have you checked out Tao's site? www.umaatantra.com I'm on K106 with Tao and I have to say he is an excellent teacher. Great fun too. This week, it was aura viewing. Now I can't walk past a mirror without checking my aura!
  12. Long Distance KUNDALINI KAP Training through Skype

My wife is starting KAP111 as well, and I'll be tagging along - what fun!

  15. KAP London Workshop

Anyone like mint with honey? My favorite!
  16. KAP London Workshop

I'm on KAP - nobody made me, I could have saved my money, but I have found KAP has helped me alot. If anything, I would say that the KAP courses are too cheap. I've yet to come across anyone who said "I did KAP and it was a rip off". Besides, goldisheavy, I think you pretty much blew your cover with that last rant. If that's not an ego on the defensive, I don't know what is. Your credibility is nil. Stamping you feet and having a paddy is a bit of a give away!
  17. KAP London Workshop

Ah James, thank you for a wonderful write up.
  18. KAP UK

I totaly understand re your hosts. It must be difficult. You are a good man Shanti!
  19. KAP UK

Hey Santi - I sent you an email - PMs don't seem to work for me here - maybe not enought posts or something. Have a great day.
  20. KAP UK

Hi James, Have a great time, I'm sure you will! And be sure to let us know how you get on. The way things are with work at the mo we would have to plan weeks in advance to attend duing the week. I'm finding the KAP course great, though. Maybe I can put my refund towards level 2 or something. No worries. Way:)
  21. KAP UK

Sadly, no. We can't do during the week, esp at such short notice, and as you say, the venue in Wales is miles away in the middle of nowhere - not very promising for accomadation etc. It must be ill fated! Never mind. If you get to go, I hope you have a great time!

  23. KAP UK

From that then, I'm guessing a secret location somewhere in the darkest depths of Wales!
  24. KAP UK

Hi, I live about 5 miles outside of Trowbridge in Wiltshire. The nearest train stations are in Trowbridge and Melksham. It is pretty "countryfied", and not really "a big town or city location", but very pleasent and quiet. The main drawback is that if it is held at my place, numbers will be limited - the main limiting factor being my beloved. I could have also hired a very nice venue, quite cheaply for the weekend in Heytesbury nr Warminster, where there would have been plenty of room - but maybe that was too expensive or too distant. Either way, here or Wales, I'm looking forward meeting Santi and taking part in the workshop! way
  25. Doomsday 2012

Maybe it could be an event that causes everyone to "wake up", with the masses suffering really bad chi sickness etc. Or, a mass unexplained slight change in brain chemistry?
