Perhaps the grand scheme of developing compassion is the sole purpose of carnation in forms, so that we may experience things that reveal to us why and how we are all connected, otherwise how would one know that compassion is the way if he/she has not experienced the right situations through which compassion can be developed. IMO, compassion develops through compassion but the impetus in perceiving human affairs through compassionate eyes is the crux. People need a reason and usually that reason is born through their own personal experiences which are then projected onto others who are experiencing the same thing which in turn splinters into the hearts and minds of everyone else.

my first exposure to it was while looking at a surfboard in Zuma Beach, CA. It was the logo for Town & Country (T&C). As for what it means to me, its meaning has changed over the course of time from representing Good - being the light and Evil - being the dark, but a little bit of both were always within each other. This made a lot of sense to me at the time. To now representing the primal essences infinitely reflecting off the photons of everything inside and out. I think some people do not need an awakening but are drawn to the idea of experiencing Kundalini because it's being marketed as if its the Gold Star of spiritual development. IMHO, a person can go their entire life without a Kundalini experience and be as developed, perhaps even more, than those who've had K.

I had this thought a second ago and it's been a recurring thought I'd been wrestling with for the past year... If we are all on a karmic journey and are in this realm to learn and develop, wouldn't it be in the best interests of those who are unaware of holographic reality to maintain their ignorance? Isn't this their karmic path? Is intervention ever in the interests of the Tao? Is a natural deviation towards spiritual development not just preferable, but highly suggested?

The third eye seems to be tied very closely to the pineal gland and the pituitary gland, almost as if it exists between the electromagnetic connection between the two. So then perhaps the activation of the third eye requires meditation within that area of the cranium, in the center brow, the pineal gland and the pituitary gland. Try feeling the pineal gland. I don't think many people really try to feel the gland let alone feel comfortable moving conscious energy into and around the center pineal core of the cranium. It's an unusually deep place which doesn't feel comfortable hanging out in. I'd warn though, against obsessing over any third eye related stuff. I think it's activation and clarity occurs naturally as the adept develops and like any type of meditation should be approached with a gentle pace.

It's a weening process. No matter what we've experienced, we are still in the image and likeness of the creator but much, much more dumb and selfish. The greatest master is not a master. The lowliest student is as much a student as the teacher's pet. I don't think it really matters too much who's right or who's wrong but there are ways that makes sense within the design plans of creation which can provide for hearty debate. What i'm trying to say, and I think I failed in the above paragraph, is that we're all human. We all have the same feelings, recognize the same lusts and desires to be this or that, and as we develop, the ability to discern another's intentions as well as our own can be the greatest and most painful ability. At some point everyone knows what lurks under the skin. Moreover, any of us can trap ourselves in a cave and hide away from the world around us, but honestly, that's just fucking boring. It's not that I accept my flaws and the flaws of this world as being the way it is, but I do appreciate a colorful ego even if its tainted with arrogance. Sometimes arrogance can be downright entertaining. lol.

I almost always meditated with music on. Reason was that when I didn't, I'd nearly fall asleep at times, and from my experience it is much more important to be as conscious as possible than to be half-asleep while meditating. One could argue that I'd become somewhat dependent on the music to go into deep meditation. So? As long as you can pin-point and expand your focus with as clear a mind as possible, should be fine. But honestly, if you like it, do it. If you think it doesn't work for you, don't do it. You know what's best for you.
