  1. Djwal Kuhl & Esoteric Acupuncture

I guess it depends on one's viewpoint but I have found, for myself as well as for many of my students, that it is really easy to get bogged down in the "can't see the forest because the trees get in the way" syndrome when practicing Chinese Medicine. My teacher, Teacher Wang Jue Min, was jailed and tortured for 17 years during the cultural revolution. He said it was "now time" for the energetic techniques he had preserved and perfected to be taught in the west.
  2. Types of Tai Chi/taiji (updated)

I think Jampa Stewart in Austin teaches this form as well. At the NQA conference a couple of years ago he gave a demonstration of this form and he was quite good. I wonder if Y.W Chang and Chen Jin Bao knew each other. I don't remember exactly when Master Chang came to the USA from Taiwan but I do know he was in Chang Kai-Shek's airforce and flew many of the planes to Taiwan when they left mainland China.
  3. Djwal Kuhl & Esoteric Acupuncture

I looked at the site reference but it was unclear to me exactly what this form is. I do know, from my own practice, that many of the things taught in straight TCM including many of the treatments are not as in harmony with direct energetic healing as some of the medical qigong systems. What I mean by this is that in the qigong style acupuncture quite often a much more direct approach works faster and better than a complicated analysis. I think you make a good point about changing energetics as I certainly believe that everything is dynamic and not static. None of this changes the fact that energy channels exist and energy vortices exist where the energy can be manipulated. But quite often I have found myself going to a more refined approach based on the energies that are NOW.
  4. Doctors make me so angry.

While I personally believe much of what you say is true, I suggest you also look on the other side of the coin. I have a large number of physicians that take my qigong workshops and I have also done healing work on a very large number of their (the doctor's) patients. What most natural health people do not seem to realize is that we, and yes I mean all of us, has created a system where the doctors are constrained by something called "standard of care". If they deviate from this, the system WE created individual US will sue the doctors for all they are worth. An example, for instance: A mother brings her small child that is running fever and is demonstrating signs of infection. Say the doctor knows medical qigong and natural medicine and does an energy treatment on the child and gives the child echinacea and gan mao ling instead of an antibiotic. But said child ends up dying because it was actually a tick induced illness and the child has rocky mountain spotted fever. OUR created system would encourage said mother to sue the well-meaning doctor for millions and would probably win such a suit. The physicians HAVE to practice "standard of care" because of the system. WE are the only ones that can, through a consciousness shift, help change the system But I can personally guarantee you that the antibiotics are needed for many situations. Where were these taken? I immediate wanted to go there and get some of THAT healing!
  5. Kundalini & Lucifer &:...

I tried to put it in more diplomatic terms but I personally agree with you. I think a large number of sources suggest she stole quite a bit of what she wrote. (note here: please no one ask me for references to support what I just printed - do your own research if this interests you). I do know a person that "studied" her works for many years only to arrive at the fact (for this person) that most of it was the opposite of factual.
  6. Mass healing

One of the reasons this may not be a good idea is the conflict of intent. I have noticed when several energy practitioners get together and try to project energy that quite a bit of chaos occurs. There are two ways to do it that eliminates this chaos but I really don't believe that a consensus could be arrived at by the members of this forum on the "proper" way to do such a thing.
  7. Yes I did as well. Some of my more advanced students actually saw the tumbling buildings in dreamtime before the event. A large energy shift for sure. I was actually projecting energy at the exact moment of 911 and felt a HUGE pull on my energy. I have also felt the energy kickback from almost everything we did in Irag as well as the different kind of shifts before the major disasters of the world that we have experienced in the last several years. I think we are actually going to experience these shifts more and more over the next several years. It energetically feels to me like we are building to some type of apex pt. I have had visions of some of the things that could happen but hope that we can divert some of these things energetically. I sincerely believe that, the more energy practitioners there are and the more consciousness shifts the more smooth these energy shifts will be. I haven't spent much time on the coasts except living in th Bahamas for a couple of years in the energy triangle. I am more familiar with the different energetics of the mountains in North Carolina as opposed to the rockies in the west. To me, the NC mountains represent old and very powerful energetics and the rockies represent a newer energy that is powerful but has a lighter texture (hard to really describe).
  8. Kundalini & Lucifer &:...

I do not know of the particular teachings you are referring to but I do know enough about the Alice Bailey works that I would suggest extreme caution and discernment of practicing anything related.
  9. Intention

I thought it was a good thing that many don't pay attention to so I just repeated it for emphasis.
  10. Intention

Maybe not the emphasis on your post but I think it should be repeated.
  11. Now we are getting somewhere, but in particular I am interested in the aspect of this that can be felt by energy practitioners that feel or SEE energy events. Did you have any particular energetic realization at any point? Are there other energy practitioners out these that felt or SAW these negative feedback energy shifts? Please comment.
  12. Just as good an OPINION as anyone else. That is not what I am referring to. I am referring to a natural energy law that folks who practice energetics can feel and SEE energy as it feedbacks. Just like Scotty posted about feeling the energetics of 911. What I am asking is who has felt or SEEN the ENERGETICS?
  13. I did say we could apply this throughout history. But the age poll we just had of the average age here implies that not many here remember the wars WWII or even Korea, or heck, many of the age group posting doesn't even remember the Vietnam era. So how are they to have any comment on the energetics felt if we go back too many years? But I am particular interested in who has felt the negative energy kickback during the last 8 years and I don't see why we, no matter what political leaning each of us has, can't answer from an energetic viewpoint. I have certainly SEEN this energetic shift and I wondered who else has felt or SEEN it.
  14. I too felt 911 but I also felt and SAW the energy kickback from our bombings in Iraq. It is considered a fact that we used nuclear material in many of the bombs. There is one particular doctor ( I believe from the USA) who has treated many children there from radioactive poisoning and has spoken out about it. And I disagree with you about the "held accountable" by the media. It appears to me that there was no accountability by the last 8 years of administration. This isn't, however, what I wish for this thread to be about as it will definitely be turned into a democrat/republican thing and I would rather we stick with the energetics issue. I am neither democrat or republican and hope that we all can look at this strictly from an energetic viewpoint. I would ask that we agree to disagree about the accountability and continue the energetic aspect of what has happened over the last 8 years. Your comment about what you felt on 911 is the type of thing I was looking for. How many others felt negative energy kickback during the last 8 years?
  15. Types of Tai Chi/taiji (updated)

Hi Steve. Cool. Are you in USA and do you mind me asking who taught you? There just aren't that many teachers of the form here. The book is good in that it talks about the form and even diagrams the moves. But I agree with you that I don't think ANYBODY could learn this form from a book or DVD. Master Chang had practiced from age 6 until I met him in his 90's. As a senior student of Chen Pan Ling and with 80 something years of practice he was really really good. When I met him and asked him to teach me his Hsing I he told me I had to first hit him. Then he gave me that old frail man look that these masters like to give to new students. At first I didn't want to but he kept saying I had to or he would not teach me. So I gave him my best shot. Somehow, I ended up flying toward the wall where he was waiting to catch me before I hit the wall. Master Chang was the man responsible for the book you linked to. He and his wife Pat were the main translators.
  16. how do you use taoism during a conflict?

How do you use Taoism in a conflict? Project calmness. Works really well.
  17. Types of Tai Chi/taiji (updated)

I agree with this statement. It seems, especially here in the USA that so many teachers have trained in systems that are based upon this but lost their way in that they do not tell the students that each move has devastating martial power. I am no expert on Tai Ji, but I have been around it for a long time. My favorite form, IF I was a Tai Ji person, is Chen Pan Ling style. There are really only a very few teachers of this in the USA. Chen Pan Ling was an engineer who learned many different styles of Tai Ji and utilized engineering principles of such things as force vectors and moment arms to arrive at an optimal and more efficient strike. I studied this form with his senior student Y.W. Chang for 3 years before he passed on. A truly amazing form with 320 separate moves. Of course I recognize that 3 years is nothing in studying such a thing and I fully admit I know not-much-at all. I really only studied this because I wanted to study Hsing I and master Chang would not teach me his Hsing-I unless I studied the Tai Chi in conjunction with the Hsing I. But Master Chang DID know each separate martial application of each move such as break his arm, dislocate his shoulder, stop his heart, etc. It still amazes me that most teachers in the USA do not understand these things. The only DVD's I could recommend to the OP would be Jianye Jiang's. He has some that are really easy to learn. If this interests the OP I could dig up a couple of titles that I have. He has over 300 DVD's released and really knows his stuff. I would also suggest to the OP that they may wish to look at energy-based qigong movement forms. There are several good movement forms out there.
  18. Intention

This is what I have found to be true as well. Believing is non-sense, knowing is what makes sense. To answer the OP, I practice and teach a meditative form of qigong. We eliminate the mind from the equation and just "be". But we do put our awareness on the dan tian. Not anything to do with intention, however, as awareness in this case is the energy body's awareness. While having no intention of what is to happen I can tell you what SEERS SEE when they observe a person doing this over a period of time. First the dan tian gets more dense and starts to glow more brightly as the practice continues. As the practitioner continues, there is a white light that rises from the dan tian. As it gets to each energy center, that energy center opens. With continued practice the light shoots out of the top of the head and connects with the universe (source). This connection simply happens in a natural non-forced manner with no intention involved.
  19. Do you know any good Parables?

I don't know if this is what you are looking for but here is a story from my personal experience about Listening and following the Tao. A Lesson On Listening Follow the NOW, Follow the Tao Copyright 2009, Spirit Way Publishing All rights reserved, Excerpt from the book, Sacred Vibrations of Ascension Chi Kung ISBN 0-9674742-5-7 I had a day off from my medical qigong clinic and drove to the nearest city to go to a bookstore. It is always fun for me to browse and see which books "jump out" to me. After browsing, and purchasing a book, I decided to go on back home as I had already spent some time in the store. As I was driving I got the distinct feeling/message that I should not leave right now, so I dropped by a sandwich shop and had a sandwich and iced tea. There was a newspaper stand so I bought one and casually browsed the paper as I slowly finished my tea. As I was swallowing the last bit of tea, I got the distinct feeling/message, "OK, go now". I have learned through the school of hard knocks not to ignore these perceptions so I immediately got up and left. As I was driving home, a distance of about 30 miles, I felt an intense burst of energy. I rounded a curve and there was a car wreck on my side of the road (it was a 4 lane hwy). The wreck appeared to have just happened and two people were trapped in one car and the other car still had one person it it. The wreck was horrible appearing, a mash of metal that intensely demonstrated the frail nature of man and his machines. As I was running from my vehicle to the first car I saw another car stopping in the opposite lane and a man was running toward me. We arrived at the first car at the same time. The other fellow that had stopped to help shouted, "I am an EMT (emergency medical technician)". We quick checked both vehicles to see which one needed assistance first. The car with the two people in it had gas pouring out, the other did not, so we prioritized these folk as our 1st concern. The woman inside was shouting and crying incoherently and the guy driving was sitting still, looking straight ahead. After evaluating, we decided to pull the woman out first. We set her on the ground a good ways from the car as it could have burst into flames at any second, and went back to the man who had been driving. We could get no response and determined he had a severe neck injury and was in shock. It was judgement call time - wait on the ambulance with neck brace or go ahead and pull him out? With the gas pouring out and because there was no way, due to the wreckage, of disconnecting the battery, we made the decision to pull him out. The EMT stabilized his neck and I carried him and we set him on the ground, with the EMT continuing to stabilize his neck. I was projecting qi to the emergency rescue pt that we use in medical qigong as we were carrying him and as we set him down. He stopped shaking as I was projecting so I did the same for the woman. At this point two ambulances pulled up. The EMT and I faded away and left the rest to the professionals. Now, what is the chance of an EMT and a qigong healer coming up to an accident at the same time? The Tao works in an extreme densely layered and deep manner. Always practice Listening and you will follow the Tao.
  20. Was wondering how many of you bless their food before eating? And I don't equate blessing food as the same thing as the "giving thanks" as it is not. I'm referring to the true energetic cleaning and transmutation of the food before ingesting. I ask because in the latest "meat thread" this was only brought up by a couple of people. I think, with the unclean stuff they call food in the grocery stores that this technique should be utilized by everyone. Of course it is very difficult to do without an energetic base practice. Easy to do with proper energetics.
  21. Alchemy and pain, pain, pain

If spontaneous movement helps do not suppress it. Are there any medical qigong therapists/doctors nearby? A few sessions should help you with balance of energetics and allow the qi to flow without sticking. This should help a lot.
  22. How many Bless their food?

In medical qigong we utilize water and liquid herbal extracts to accomplish an energetic helping of the client/patient. Here is an example of an energized external liquid extract. Note this is on my site but I do not have any for sale. Need to update the site. I use this quite often in my clinic.
  23. How many Bless their food?

Aw come on, I like your description of angry red faced sex no condom God! Just kidding. I agree with you. My stance is that if we get to the true core (removing the control-factor core) of these teachings we find much more in common than not. I remember a medicine man showing me an exercise that was done after a healing in order to clear the energies. It was identical to a qigong exercise I had previously learned. I get flack from different religious folks some time about my teachings and book. The Christians that give me flack don't realize that my book was edited by a Ph.D Christian Theologian who happened to be one of my students at the time. Truth is truth no matter where it comes from and no matter what name is put on it. We can utilize qi, combined with INTENT, to create, or manifest. Why would I want to waste energy trying to make rotting food clean? It would require transmutation instead of simple cleaning. It could be done but I would only do the transmutation if I was starving and could not get anything else to eat. You pushed my Yuck! button
  24. How many Bless their food?

The "cleaning" is removing the sick qi from the food. We do the same thing when we do medical qigong, we project qi and remove the sick qi. Generally speaking, sick qi will be perceived by most people that can SEE as a black cloud of energy.
  25. How many Bless their food?

I personally am not a fan of Reiki for many reasons. But Qi utilized with INTENT can clean most anything, doesn't have to be defined as "live" or "dead".
