  1. Kunlun/Yogani

Good post. In light of the fact that it appears not many teachers (posting here as well as the many books written) agree on exactly what kundalini is this post seems very relevant. It is the view I share. In the end, as someone posted, the proof is in what happens to the practitioner. To me, if the system poses danger, then it is not a great system. If it is safe and the practitioner arrives at a Higher Level state, then it is a good system and doesn't really matter what we call any particular thing. Any particular thing is what it is regardless of what we call it or who agrees with it.

Bravo! There are ALWAYS Higher Levels!
  3. Make weapon out of chi?

Is this a serious question? Here is a serious reply. I teach my senior students the Light Sword technique. It is not for earthly weapon use but for use in healing. It is extremely valuable in helping cut energy cords of attachment. For self use: A Light Warrior's Guide to High Level Energy Healing: Medical Qigong and a Shaman's Healing Vision ISBN 0-9674742-5-6 page 157, "We form energy attachments when we go through relationships. These attachments are literally cords that connect us with that person. Energy drains constantly through these cords. How do we counter this energy loss? Is there a way to cut these cords?... ... Every time you think of the person, this cord becomes stronger... ... to cut the cord, you must first have enough energy to do so, gained through your practice of qigong. Then you must SEE the cord and the person it is attached to, You must have very strong INTENT to cut the cord and have made up your mind that it is time to let go of this relationship. Then form a Light Sword using your qi and your INTENT. Firmly bring the sword down and cut the cord... (read rest of this before attempting or PM me if you have a need of doing this. Do not even consider trying this if you have not been practicing for more than 5 years and you can project qi)
  4. For self-health one hour a day will do, 2 hrs is better . If a healer is projecting energy to 1 or 2 people a day, a person could possibly get by with above practice. If you are a healer projecting to 8-12 clients/patients per day you need 3 hrs practice daily. Eventually, with dedicated practice, a person can arrive at 24 hrs a day practice. There really is no problem practicing other methods at the same time unless they are forced methods. Anyone that is a fan of forced methods probably will not like this system, and this system will not agree with these forced type of systems. Most short AND long term practitioners that practice other methods end up with Stillness-Movement as their main system once they learn it. This is because of it's particular power for helping healers that project energy, as well as the lineage factor of the information-based energy that is projected to students of Stillness-Movement. Also, Stillness-Movement is particularly effective at burning through filters of illusion. No truths will change from anyone's previous spiritual practice. The Gift of the Tao: Vibratory Acts of Power is synergistic with Stillness-Movement. Most people who learn it utilize it as a complementary system. It differs from linear type of movement systems so it goes well with Stillness-Movement. The Gift of the Tao are reflected energy patterns from the Higher Levels. This system can actually be learned from a DVD whereas the Stillness-Movement cannot.
  5. Hi, The 500 hr program is a certification program. That doesn't mean that a person couldn't get started with a 3 day workshop. In such a workshop a person would learn the complete Stillness-Movement qigong and participate in the energy projection to raise each student's energy body vibrational rate. We would then get started on Medical/Clinical qigong as well as Taoist Medicine methodology. We would also go over the Gift of the Tao: Vibratory Acts of Power movement system. The student could then practice what was taught until we could schedule a follow up workshop. 500 hrs meets the NQA (www.nqa.org) certification standards. It is not necessary to get started in healing applications but Stillness-Movement is. A person can take this as far as he/she wishes. Hi, You are doing good work. Making a difference is an amazing thing. While it probably would be interesting, I do not wish to answer this on a public forum other than to say there are possibilities. So give me a call when you get a chance and we will discuss it. It will involve a technique we have not as yet discussed. Think about which Gift of the Tao movement may apply (not as in teaching your client but as in vibrational energetics).
  6. The Ultimate Fu Is....

WOW! Stig & Mak Tin Si, I find myself totally agreeing with you both. How can that be? I will try to explain from my viewpoint of why that can be. I do know that Mak Tin Si is correct. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to reach Higher Levels of understanding without a teacher. And this teacher needs to be able to manipulate Higher Vibrational energy. I do know that Stig is correct. For any of this to make sense or be self-evident, one has to stay on the path and reach a certain vibratory state though their own efforts. And assume responsibility for who they really are. I believe that the reason both of these things are correct is that it really depends on who you are; how much energy you brought with you to this dimension. This depends on your Destiny. In other words Destiny is defined as what you (the real you, not the you that is controlled by the mind) chose to do and learn in this particular dimension. Many factors control this, such as how many lifetimes you have spent on the path, etc.
  7. Hi, I have taught all over the USA, have been asked to teach in Bulgaria (logistics didn't work), Columbia (didn't want to), and China (wanted to but couldn't at the time). I have not taught in Europe. Someone in Germany was going to organize a workshop but it didn't work out. I would be glad to come to Europe or most any other location for a workshop. All it takes is someone to sponsor the workshop; get place to have it and organize students wishing to attend, etc. If you or anyone else are interested in doing this please PM me I am taking a winter break here at my location and will not be teaching another workshop here until March. A lot of my students drive up to 16 hours to get here and no point driving in snow and ice.
  8. You surely make a good point. My experience tells me, after practicing with no particular goals, that the true self is different than what the mind tells us. I have SEEN this. But I really have not sat around for 10,000 years to determine if what I said was absolute (or at least I sure as heck hope I didn't ) But I wonder how 10,000 years of intellectualizing could possibly bring an OBJECTIVE conclusion, as the mind is involved. Seems to me the conclusion, because it was involving the mind, would be limited to the linearity of the mind, unless the mind superseded itself and jumped to the non-linear. In this case the conclusion, I would think, would be the same as the conclusion derived from removing the mind from the equation.
  9. Thought I would add this one as well. A young mother calls me up and asks will I do a session at the hospital. When she explained that her 3 week old child was having no response to the hospital treatment I agreed. Presentation: 3 weeks after birth the child was doing fine then all of a sudden came down with high fever, no appetite and no food (formula) tolerance. The child had been treated for 5 days after hospitalization. Nothing worked; the child was getting progressively worse and was extremely lethargic. Therapy: Taoist energy arts. Results: After 20 minutes the child turned over and looked up at me fully aware. I then walked out of the hospital. The hospital discharged the child that night. All symptoms had disappeared. I have added these thinking they may be interesting to the group here. The Tao is vast and much more than what is written in a few books. But I have no need to post them UNLESS people are interested. So please say whether you find these posts interesting or not. If not I will not continue this thread.
  10. Attention Sean

Holy Hack, Batman! uh, froggie Wild find. Now those hacking terrorists have all our secrets! There is no telling what they will do with all this information. Maybe stay tied in intellectual knots for 3 or 4 million years?
  11. I probably didn't make it clear what I was trying to say. Everything I teach is about removing the mind from the equation. Linearity will never allow one to reach the Higher Levels. I was just pointing out that it is far better to make the mind our (the real self, not who our mind tells us we are) slave than be slave to the mind. When it is our slave instead of the other way around, we then can remove it from getting in the way. The key, however is in the doing, or being. Not the thinking. Absolutely 100% agreed. That is what I was trying to say. A person can intellectualize for 10,000 years and never get anywhere. An hour of experience is worth far more.
  12. "The rational mind is a faithful servant and the intuitive mind a sacred gift. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift" Einstein "The practice of Stillness-Movement awakens our sacred gifts." Wang Juemin "Our minds are our worst enemies." A lot of awakened folks The key is to turn the mind into our slave instead of us being the slave to the mind. By awakening to the knowledge of who we really are and attuning our "here and now" self to our Higher Level self, we realize that we are actually multi-dimensional beings simultaneously operating in many worlds. This, and not indulging in thoughts that are non-sense, such as anything whatsoever to do with yesterday or tomorrow (everything is NOW), along with aligning ourself with the Higher Levels, allows us to walk in the "flow".
  13. Taoist Medicine Another simplified case presentation. Presentation: Client was electrocuted with 220V and lived. Symptoms were really high blood sugar, pain and numbness where the electricity entered, loss of hearing, could not sleep more than a few minutes, and back pain. Therapy was Taoist Medicine and clinical qigong. Multi-treatment situation. Results: After the first session client had less pain and numbness, improved hearing and could sleep. Some of the pain relief was long-term, but 2-3 days relief where the electricity entered, and some blood sugar normalization. After 2nd session more pain relief and complete blood sugar normalization, but still some residual pain where the electricity entered, hearing was improved but still some loss. After 3rd session most pain gone, hearing improved, and blood sugar OK. 2nd simplified case presentation Presentation: A young person demonstrated inability to cope with going outside home and several other symptoms (I will not list them) associated with psychiatric / emotional disorders. Parents had taken this client to a number of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and counselors with no success. They were desperate (their words) to try something so drastic as a Taoist/Clinical Qigong Therapist. Therapy was Taoist medicine, clinical qigong and teaching this person self-healing qigong. Multi-treatment situation. Results: After first session vast, almost unbelievable to me improvement. We did several sessions and the client started practicing qigong under my supervision. This person now leads a normal life. Taoist Medical Therapeutics excels at helping people with many different problems. I specialize in pain elimination, but others do come to my clinic. My students who have clinics have these same type results.
  14. Spirits of Tree/wood (Sue Jing)

Who wouldn't be pissed off when pissed on? Trees are entities with a palpable energy field. The tree qigong I teach shows that we should never approach a tree without respect. When approached with respect, the difference is amazing.
  15. Sealing the Energy in

In our system we do complete self-massage and patting the body all over. This is done so that no qi gets stuck in any particular location. Nothing to do with sealing.
  16. Positive vs. Negative Energy Projection

I think we all can be somewhat put off by the term morality because it is so often associated with Christian biblical beliefs. But it was actually my Taoist teachers (2 of them,) that used this word. I use it instead of virtuous because that is what I am used to. But yes, same meaning when we filter out people's biblical perception.
  17. Positive vs. Negative Energy Projection

All 3 of those options are options of choice to humanity. When I talk of "good and moral" person I do mean as defined by Higher Laws, not as defined biblically or any other definition. When we attune to the Tao we definitely posses an inner knowing of what the right thing we should do at any given moment. To go against this is not being a good & moral person in terms of Higher Level achievement. In other words, we are not being good to ourselves or others if we do not follow the natural flow of the Tao. Hence we are self-limiting our ability to progress. A lot of times these Higher Level laws do coincide with man made laws. Other times they have nothing to do with it. I posted about 1/2 second after you did before reading your post. I do believe we are saying the exact same thing but in different terminology.
  18. Positive vs. Negative Energy Projection

Thank you for the nicer reply. Think on it this way. When you posted your previous post you were angry. This is a similar state as the "evil" state in that if a person has anger, they effect others, as well as themselves (Chinese medicine says harms liver qi) negatively. Now the question is, do you think your qigong was empowered by that state? Or did that state, while you were angry, inhibit your practice of qigong? There is the answer right there. And do not be so quick as to think you know what others have experienced. You have no idea what I (or anyone else) have crossed paths with. It does apply to all qigong. I practiced many other qigong forms before I started practicing the main form I practice and teach now. I mean something like 10-12 years worth. They all demonstrated the same set of energy laws as the main form I do now. But, I admit, I did not know this law during my formative qigong years. Although it was told to me by many teachers I still did not understand it totally until one day it became self-evident through the qigong practice. That is why I say it really doesn't matter what I say and that, if you stay on the path, you too will know this as a natural law because it will become self-evident. You have already had 3 different advanced practitioners tell you this. All we are saying is these things will become self-evident with practice and you will KNOW instead of it being an opinion.
  19. Positive vs. Negative Energy Projection

Such rude behavior. Instead of acting your age try behaving like you have actually practiced qigong. And try remembering your college logic courses. No one person can tell another what they know. Impossible and fact.
  20. Magic

Sorry, guys, I know no more than what you have expressed. My Chinese language abilities suck and as such I have more tried to get the inner knowledge than the technical. I believe it refers to the natural inner qi flow that occurs when we practice, or at a lessor rate, when we breathe, possibly has to do with the interaction of the permeating energy body, the energy centers, and the internal circulation. But I really don't have any particular knowledge about it. I think that , in terms of cultivation it just happens and there is no need to really consider it. It is interesting that the KI3 point is called Tai Xi. This is a "stream point".
  21. how to repair the damage done

It seems that quite a few that post here believe the same thing. This is like trying to invent something that rolls over the ground. You could spend a decade or 5 trying to do so or you could simply look at the invention of the wheel. And if you wished to design wheels it would be a good idea to go to engineering school. Find yourself a teacher that actually has some experience. In the meantime, the suggestion of grounding made above is a good idea. You can try, if you wish, to simply put your awareness on your dan tian right below your navel and inside the body. If you do this, do not allow your awareness to move up to the chest. You may wish to try several salt baths. I use 1 lb of salt when I do this and soak for 20 minutes minimum. You may wish to try a self massage starting at the scalp and moving down to the feet, spending more time on the feet. You may wish to find a clinical qigong therapist to help balance out what you have created. Above all, check with your doctor to make sure you do not have any medical problems. And, it needs repeating, FIND A TEACHER WITH EXPERIENCE!
  22. Positive vs. Negative Energy Projection

Yes. The cloaking technique is needed because of the following: As we practice our energy body gets bigger and shines more brightly. We draw attention from others and many folks will start to be attracted to come up to you because they know you can help them. You really don't want this. We should choose our "battleground"; it isn't in the supermarket. If we are healers our "battleground" is our treatment room. If we are meditators our "battleground" is where we meditate. This way we can actually help more people than if we shined brightly all the time. Also, we eliminate outside influence, so this particular method serves dual purpose as cloaking and as shielding.
  23. Positive vs. Negative Energy Projection

And YOU are making the assumption now. By saying I don't know. See, you have no idea what I know or don't. It actually IS a truth that I KNOW. NOT what I feel or think. And I told you what you needed to know and how you can arrive at this same truth and didn't ask you to believe me. So, whatever you say, young master. But I do suggest that you get in a few mores years of practice to allow yourself time to assimilate the truths instead of depending upon the brain. It is so limited. And our worst enemy. And possibly your cup is so full that you cannot assimilate these truths.
  24. Positive vs. Negative Energy Projection

Ah, and where do the practitioners go from there? There is a difference in being boosted to a "very high level" and the practice of High Level Qigong. Notice I didn't say the system you referred to wasn't, just asking how do these people who get that go forward. Practice, correct? At some point they will reach a stone wall without the "good and moral person" aspect.
  25. Positive vs. Negative Energy Projection

And with all due respect to your learning, it is a natural High Level law. Furthermore it was not Master Wang's OR my opinion, but what became self-evident through the practice of High Level Qigong, Both Master Wang's 50 years of experience and my 30 years of experience (and the lineage's experience of many thousands of years). You, too, will arrive at this conclusion if you will simply practice. If you have practiced less than 10 years you have not given yourself time to assimilate and grow with qigong; very hard to make any conclusions. If you have practiced for more than 10 years I suggest looking into an internal system that you resonate better with. Here is the thing: My teachers nor I ask any student to believe one word we say. What we want to do is teach you so that these things become self-evident. (It is NOT about what I know or can do but about what YOU can know or do!) You are arguing about something that you do not understand because it has not YET become self-evident. Keep practicing and it will. Simply tune into and vibrate with the universal love. If you try to project energy be sure you have the proper training, there are many considerations.
