Special TTBers only promotion: Stillness-Movement Neigong September 28,29,30
Ya Mu replied to Ya Mu's topic in General Discussion
See you there! You will find the other folks attending to be among the nicest and highest energy folks you have met. ------------------------------ There is one position available as 2 of them have been claimed. Only one more spot left for the 3 days with all the DVD's thrown in free. Someone asked about only attending the 2-day qigong/neigong part of the workshop. How about this: I have another 3 sets (including the following DVD's only) available for only the 2-day portion of this workshop - Free Gift of the Tao I & II including the Sequential Energy Center Activation, Balancing & Dimensional Expansion DVD. In my decades of qigong practice I have seen nothing like this SECAB&DE DVD. In terms of personal Qigong efficient progress in development it alone is worth the price of the workshop. The results of practicing are phenomenal! "When I’m done with one session of Gift of the Tao I always have this feeling that this is what Qigong is supposed to feel like, but I never had that feeling with ANY other Qigong system that I practiced.” Student Quote- 59 replies

I speak of awakening natural talents. And yes it does have a lot to do with where one is in their path; if they reached certain levels in past lives, etc. The practice of authentic neigong can awaken those talents, sometimes in as little as a few minutes, sometimes in a year, sometimes 10 years; there is no way of knowing how long it takes. Medical Qigong energy manipulation ability occurs within two days of practice in my workshops to a 70-100 percent ability to eliminate pain in someone else. Sometimes SEEing occurs within those 2 days. I like to tell the story of the two "x-ray vision" girls who were at the medical qigong hospital I trained in in China. Within one year of practicing Stillness-Movement neigong they all of a sudden had the abilty to see inside the body, see organs, see sick qi, see down to cellular level. I have seen the same thing happen with my students. Usually people start to see the sick qi in the first few workshops although there is no particular time table. I remember all of a sudden I did one day while working on someone. Now I see it whether I am looking at the person or not. Other talents such as multidimensional awareness, hearing across the dimensions, hearing energy, "future" seeing, etc. can occur with raising one's energy body vibration rate with a practice such as Stillness-Movement Neigong.

Body & Magnetics/electromagnetics/electricy is a fascinating subject. I know Brian linked to this post he made in another thread earlier but perhaps several didn't see it. I think this a very good explanation that doesn't go overboard on the technical but explains in a down to earth fashion. Brian, I hope you don't mind me quoting this here. "I’d like to speak first to the “science” aspect. I am not inviting a discussion about “science” or about any details regarding the scientific underpinnings of stillness-movement neigong, I’m just sharing a few of my own thoughts (we’ve got a few regulars who inspire me to make that statement…) In fact, I would say that spending too much time trying to analyze the system is exactly counter-productive! That's quite an admission from a man who spent his first 40 years analyzing things. Michael is an electrical engineer who specialized in electromagnetics. I am a physicist with a concentration in electronic engineering. I know of several others in the system who also have some sort of scientific background/training. I find the system to be totally consistent with “science” and I’ll try to explain. While the vast majority of the universe appears to be composed of “dark matter” and “dark energy” (which would be extremely disconcerting to those who believe science has the answers except for the fact that they have turned “science” into “Science” – but that’s a completely different thread!), the observed universe is largely explained or modeled by a handful of “forces” which have been shown to be derived from a single “whatever-it-was” force from the time of the Big Bang (well, gravity is still problematic and Einstein spent most of his later years working unsuccessfully on a Grand Unifying Theory, work that continues today). It is my belief that this single “whatever-it-was” is really an “is” rather than a “was” and that it is synonymous with what we refer to as “Light” on TTB, and that most of the world’s cosmogonies inadequately describe what is also inadequately described in science by the Big Bang. Without getting into the weeds, though, our interactions with the universe and the operational mechanics of virtually anything you can point to is entirely or largely a matter of electromagnetics (and gravity...) Be it a rainbow or a firecracker, a radio or an internal combustion engine, what scientists currently refer to as electromagnetics is key. More to point, our bodies are chemically-driven electromagnetic machines. Not only is the structure electromagnetic but the operation itself. All of the interactions and signaling and chemical conversions and biological processes – all of it – is electromagnetic in nature. It is easy to see that all the electrolytes and minerals and the subsystems using them (from the inner ear to the central nervous system to the brain to energy cycles that power things) are “electrical” because of the reliance on charges but remember that any moving charge generates a magnetic field as well as the electric field of a stationary charge (if there were such a thing as a stationary charge). These untold numbers of electromagnetic fields overlap and interact with other charges – and are NOT confined to the boundaries of the physical body itself. An ordinary magnet is simply a piece of iron in which a small fraction of the atoms within the crystalline structure are aligned in such a way that their electrical polarization points in the same direction. Spin then generates tiny magnetic fields which, because the electrical fields are aligned, are also aligned. A tiny fraction of the atoms is all it takes for that piece of iron to display the amazing properties that fascinate us as children but that we generally learn to take for granted. We are talking about something very similar with stillness-movement… By drawing “energy” into dan tien (the lower dan tien, for those who want to get hung up on details) and then letting it gently overflow to permeate the physical body, we are “strengthening” and “aligning” the corresponding energy-body. Like with the iron bar, it only takes a little bit of alignment to start seeing results. As one continues to practice, though, and slowly learns to keep the intellect from interfering, and learns to take responsibility for this being-unforgotten “ability,” the effect continues to develop. Since my energy-body isn’t confined within my physical body and your energy-body isn’t confined within your physical body, our electromagnetic fields naturally interact with each other – even at a distance. In general, these interactions are random in nature and so tend to cancel each other out. An iron magnet will affect a paper-clip, however, in much the same way that a qigong healer’s energy-body can affect the energy-body of the person being healed. Exposing a piece of iron to a strong magnetic field can align some of its atoms and turn it into a magnet in its own right (especially if certain preparatory/facilitating steps are taken) and the same is true with the qigong healer who not only has an immediate and temporary effect but also has a lasting and residual impact. Central to this whole thing is not only strengthening the energy-body by gathering energy through daily qigong practice and aligning the energy-body by being a good & moral person (and remaining calm ), but also learning to control the interactions between energy-bodies. This is where concepts like “listening” and “awareness” and “being in the moment” and “setting one’s intent” all come into play. It is by stopping the brain from “being the boss” and by becoming part of that “flow” that astounding things start to happen. It is important to note that nothing in the stillness-movement system is forced. Yes, there are certain movements and actions and such but even these are not overly rigorous in structure or form. Instead, the focus is on practicing and letting things happen as they will. This is why you don’t hear Michael’s students talk much about MCO or the third eye or specific breathing techniques or what have you. These sorts of things largely are natural results of one’s development rather than tools to be used in one’s development – effects rather than causes. As to success rates, I don’t have enough personal experience yet to be a good case study but I have virtually a 100% success rate so far with one exception – a family member so attached to her various ailments that my efforts to date have had only temporary impact. Even with her, the short-term results are significant & impressive but the problems quickly return. It is worth pointing out, though, that her physicians and specialists chide her for obsessing on symptoms while refusing to take personal action to address underlying causes. Some people are like that… I’ll also point out that I know of one stillness-movement practitioner who ran a clinic for many years with a “pay me after it works” policy – which turns the money-back guarantee on its head! The fact that the clinic lasted more than a few months speaks volumes, I think (unlike several Reiki masters I have personally known over the years, for example). The proof is in the pudding, though – as the saying goes. Reading the book is like reading about sex, a valuable introduction but... Come to Hilton Head in November and try it for yourself! Heck, I'll buy you a beer so it isn't a total loss even if the system doesn't resonate with you. Hope this helps! Brian" A couple of comments on EE books and application to the human body. I agree that these books will not give one an understanding of human body energetics. And yet... For me, it was as if an imprint of everything I struggled with in advanced EE electromagnetic field theory was instantly - what is the word - possibly "conceptualized"? "Imprinted"? "made clear"; "made sense"? ah, I am having a senior moment OR possibly attempting to explain an energetic phenomena with words that will not quite describe what I am trying to get across. What I am trying to say is that before I stood in the huge magnetic field of a qigong master I only had a theoretical - non-local feeling about electromagnetics/magnetics. But when I did that was internalized so the books which, even though I passed the university courses and applied those theories in industry, never had before quite made complete sense - these books & teachings were instantly flowed into me so that I "saw" the fields everywhere. Ah, heck, I know that doesn't quite make sense either so I will quit attempting. Let me just say this: The books & teachings in electromagnetic field theory made it much easier for me to have an instant internal realization of what was happening with the qigong.

Chinese Taoist Medicine & Stillness-Movement Medical Qigong

Yes, the program I posted above is what I do. I always try to use on self before suggesting to others. No worries, it was a bit funny - I was just startled at the use of the word as it has been oh so long since we have seen folks over here called hippie. Your perception is actually guite good, even though I perhaps took it wrong (cultural understanding and interaction is a thing we should strive for, eh?). Even though I do that program, the doctors told me I should be totally disabled and are amazed that I still get around. I have fractured spine in several places, several herniated disks, multiple nerve impingement, genetic degenerative neurological disorder aggravated by severe tick fever resulting in neuropathy from the knees down, my feet stink and I don't love Jesus like I should. Oh, and I hurt like hell (unless I practice the qigong). The truth is, without my qigong practice I would be unable to walk and my pain level would be narcotic level (which I refused). But ask my students about the Spirit Circle Running I do in the workshops. -

Louis, thanks for the laugh about "hippiness" with utilizing sage and sandlewood. I know a couple of Native American Medicine Men who will probably bust a gut on that one when I tell it to them. Big laughs a'comin. Not to mention the Taoist monks who burn more sandalwood than anyone else I know; they will find it interesting that they are hippies. And to think that all the cultures in the world who utilize plant essences and do weird Taoist type of things like commune with nature and all life that is connected here on Earth including trees & birds - boy are they gonna be surprised to learn that they are hippies. I haven't even heard the word in about 40 years Thanks mjjbecker for your answers, very good. And thanks ASeeker for your magnetic model. I like this model and you did a much better job explaining it than I could have. Of course no model can really explain the totality of the experience itself. I think the questions were pretty much answered. Here is one that I will address. How does the pain elimination occur? We use multiple methods within the system. With medical qigong wai qi liao fa we displace and remove the sick qi. Of course there are other things we do at the same time, reduce inflammation, calm the agitated nerve synapse, etc. Usually the pain goes away instantaneously but depending on the injury it may take a day or it may require multiple sessions with just a significant reduction in pain initially. Another way we eliminate the pain is the Taoist medicine approach direct through the nerve synapse achieving neuro-balance and opening the neural pathways. Louis, thanks for your comments about what you think about physicality. Here are my comments on physicality. I am not interested in "debating" the subject. Here is my suggested program for a balanced approach to cultivation including the physical. I totally disagree on the concept popularized by fantasy sex oriented TV commercials that suggest everyone needs to look a certain way or they are not "physically fit" and think it total bullshit nonsense. Everyone has a different body. The key to fitness is health, vibrancy, "cat" muscles NOT the pumped up fantasy muscles. In clinic I saw athletes that could pump iron, run 30 miles, do 300 pushups, etc but they got colds every time one came there way. So they were NOT "physically fit". Instead they had run down their bodies through over stimulation. Physicality is short term – everyone dies. Of course health is important, and exercise IS important for health. But I see so many "fitness nuts" who simply are overdoing the physicality it in a vain attempt to look what they think is "sexy" while ignoring the fact that they are going to physically die, actually in a very short period of time. I believe the program I outline above gives the best of both worlds. In terms of the neigong alchemy practice of Stillness-Movement, the practice brings about multidimensional awareness while physicality is indeed not and never will be multidimensional. So achievements in the two cannot be even remotely compared. And, as far as Healing Tao goes, on a Teacher level there is no competition between us. I am friends with some of the top instructors, friendly conversation level with others, and several of these top HT instructors have attended my workshops. The two systems are really totally different, but we all swim in the same pond. And one last thing," ...the spiritual would certainly be the weakest part of my practice and my view of it is very narrow." Yes indeed. Open up your view and perhaps find that the way to get answers is to not be closed minded, don't deliver subtle insults as you did in this thread, and be respectful. I am always willing to help someone willing to help themselves. Calling me a hippy (well, OK, not a big insult - just rude) and saying remarks about your ill-informed perceived view of my fitness (read the blogpost referenced above) is not the way to do that. -
Ah, I haven't had a chance to listen to the interview and don't know what he included. Interviews are always difficult as one has to talk about the questions asked rather than expound on what one deems most important. But the above quote IS important. For anyone interested the interview is archived here The Secrets of Qigong Masters Lama is doing a service to the qigong community with these interviews of the worlds qigong masters. The interviews open doors to a peek inside the wide diversity of the qigong world. Thanks everyone for the positive comments!

Chinese Taoist Medicine & Stillness-Movement Medical Qigong

I was at the NQA conference several years ago when Chunyi Lin was there. I have nothing but respect for fellow qigong professionals who have reached high level accomplishments - I know it takes quite a bit of time & effort to get there. I have never had the pleasure of meeting Jim. It does sound like the systems have quite a bit in common. Yes, the tongue stays glued. Tip of tongue right behind teeth. As you practice move it around (small movement) a bit and you will energetically find the optimal spot. And with just a few minutes therapy! Amazing! You are doing very well in your progress in Stillness-Movement. edit: I added this that I posted elsewhere: One beauty of the Jing Dong Gong Qigong is that it doesn't matter what is one's belief system. Atheists, Buddhists, Christians all the way to Zoroastrian ALL receive the same benefit from the practice! -

I finally had time to read through the threads and would be remiss to not address this post. Thank you Friend for pointing out something that many seem to miss about this system. And that is the fact of Master Wang's intense study with 5 of the top 7 qigong masters of his time. While Master Hu is indeed famous and was credited as the "father of modern qigong" the other teachers contributed heavily to Master Wang's teachings that I am attempting to pass on to others. For instance Master Zhou Qian Chuan spent 13 years with the grandmaster of one of China's four holy Buddhist mountains, training at the Golden Summit Monestery (famous for it's distillation of thousands of schools of thought, thowing out the nonsense and keeping what worked). Master Wang spent a great deal of time with his friend and teacher Master Zhou learning his system and indeed the Stillness-Movement system, while it is the culmination of Master Hu's training and honoring its founder Master Hu, does indeed contain knowledge passed on from the total of 5 Masters. The healing techniques are a distillation of all this knowledge - and it shows in the efficacy of the system.- 59 replies

Yes, hopefully in 1st quarter 2014. After several years of development the GOT III system is finished as of a couple of weeks ago,now I have to make the minor/subtle corrections which can make a slight difference in energy flow. Hopefully this will only take a few months to optimize. I would like to remind everyone that this thread is about the promotion for TTBers only giving away around $300 worth of DVDs to 3 TTB ONLY new registrants who register and attend the September 28,29,30 Springfield workshop. One of these 3 spaces has already been claimed. Two more to go with this unprecedented offer! If anyone wishes to discuss non-related material or post long-winded Buddhist/Christian/non-Taoist inner alchemy/other posts, please start another thread. If Stillness-Movement practice is mentioned in any thread by informed people I will reply.- 59 replies

"Anyone—who has experienced some non-ordinary sight/feeling—that hasn't visited one of Michael's workshops is missing a treasure." Yes, Stillness-Movement practice awakens one's sacred gifts and develops them to full potential. ..." Even Michael's senior medical/clinical qigong certification program students are capable: startled me when we were gathered around watching a demo by one of Michael’s students, and a purplish-"Northern Lights-or-Aurora Borealis"-type of field flowed around the demo-patient..." Yes, it is all about what YOU can do. All students of this system who apply themselves can reach this level of ability. Gramp: Your seeing ability will only get better with the longevity of your practice - good job! Hope I will see you at the 2nd annual Hilton Head Island Neigong Retreat beginning November 9th. -

Best Solar-powered Generator? Sunshinesimple generator
Ya Mu replied to voidisyinyang's topic in The Rabbit Hole
Low cost Panels/Batteries/Inverters are great for things like trickle charging a single or pair of 12v batteries; low-amp devices like aa battery chargers, usb devices, etc. But when it comes to real home power, look at $13K minimum to really power a few things and don't even think about air conditioning or a clothes dryer. An large array of panels, a large array of batteries and multiple large inverters is what this would take. A side note; the panels with built-in mini inverters are made for direct powering a grid tie system - not for battery storage systems. There is a way to trick them and do a hybrid system but it is not practical and not for the technically challenged. -

Chinese Taoist Medicine & Stillness-Movement Medical Qigong
Ya Mu replied to Ya Mu's topic in Group Studies
Not really. Look at the video I do have posted of qi projection. Most people who see it don't believe it. It disturbs others (probably quite a few people) . I COULD post more just like it but I am not sure if it really would help more people believe and most probably it wouldn't. Let's face it, very few people have any idea whatsoever about energy projection healing methods - even most who post on this forum are more familiar with QI circulation methods and very few are familiar with and/or have the capacity to be able to do wai qi liao fa and/or have clinical experience with medical qigong and/or studied Chinese hospital based medical qigong. A video testimony has several problems. One, most people like to preserve their privacy. Very few are willing to be public. Two, it doesn't prove anything. A person could get their friend to say all sorts of stuff on video. And three, people can gush on and on but say nothing whereas these case studies are mostly from our client files and we who are used to doing clinic work can express the situation accurately in a very few words. And, the way I write them no one has any idea who the client is so privacy is preserved. And four, the majority would have something negative to say and find problems real or imaginary with the treatment sessions and/or outcome. I can hear it now, "Placebo" "Yep, its got to be placebo effect." But one thing is for sure - it isn't. Ask the goat. I was filmed live on television doing medical qigong about 20 years ago. The client was a medical student who had been run through the mill of the hospital and most of the regional specialists without any help; severe crippling abdominal pain. When the qi projection was performed she moved around and the camera picked up waves moving in her abdomen. At the end of the session she got up and said she was totally pain free. Did it make anyone want to learn this? No. Since Drew likes this format perhaps he would like to post in his threads on receiving qigong healing videos of himself receiving treatment for his illness? -

"How come there is a difference between Stillness Movement and the Qigong of Hu Yaozhen shown in that video if they are the same lineage?" I don't see any difference. At any particular session the way I move is similar. MjjBecker put it very well; if you put several people in a class they will all be moving somewhat differently. ASeeker said "While I am sure there are many other forms of neigong that "really work," I have personally experienced AND applied the healing methods found in Stillness-Movement neigong and not only do I categorically state that it is mind-bogglingly effective, I will gladly share personal experiences with anyone who wants to PM me.*" Yes, it IS mind-boggling effective! Kempomaster - great story. Unfortunately all qigong is not created equal and sometimes folks get stuck with thinking some things are qigong when they are only calesthenics. Also most certainly there are many teachers out there that can't even project qi; I have never understood how a teacher has been doing actual qigong but can't even help their students feel qi. Qigong = study of energy - mayhaps more gongfu is needed on their part. And, of course, there are always a small amount of people who actually can't feel qi; many of these do after practicing authentic qigong. Friend - Very nice way of putting it! Yes Gift of Tao does shift a person up the "ladder" and your "Even without promotion pack it is already worth to go there." I think a lot of folks get bogged down by reading on the internet instead of finding an authentic practice and simply practicing. I hope this offer helps more to actually learn and practice neigong.- 59 replies

Kempomaster & A Seeker, Great case reports! "I can't describe the sensation of feeling these clenched muscles relax under my fingertips, sometimes within seconds. Simply amazes me every time." Yes, I too have never lost my sense of awe at how well the Taoist Medicine and Medical Qigong work. I really think if we ever lose our sense of awe and amazement then we better start over at square 1 - for it would mean we would not be in contact with Light; pure Light IS awesome! -

HA! Yes, I am sure. I am very familiar with the actions/effects of the Tennessee Goat otherwise known as a myotonic goat. They usually just stiffen up and can just fall over. This particular goat was a Savanna goat. To my observation, and due to the fact that in utilizing the clinical qigong I have seen many seizures cease in people, I think it was having a seizure. -
Chinese Taoist Medicine & Stillness-Movement Medical Qigong

Sharing two cases sent to me this week by two Stillness-Movement practitioners who live in opposite corners of the world, One who has attended only one workshop and one who has been practicing 17 years Case 1: Client has intestinal blockage with severe pain after hospital stay for surgery. Comment by me: This is actually a very bad situation that can occur due to bed confinement and drug intake. Therapies used: Taoist Medicine and Clinical Qigong Outcome: The pain immediately ceased. Client called one hour later to say no more intestinal blockage Case 2: Client was having the appearance of a severe cardiac event with intense chest pain and labored breathing; was ashen white. Comment by me: This was interesting as it was one of those synchronous events that Stillness-Movement practitioners always have - being in the right place at the right time in order to help someone. This practitioner just happened to be at this place; due to "Listening" had taking the day off from medical qigong clinic work. Therapies used: Clinical Qigong. Outcome: Color immediately restored, labored breathing immediately returned to normal, chest pain immediately removed. This was witnessed by several law enforcement officers who looked on with amazement. They asked the practitioner afterwards: "How in the world did you do that?" ----------------------------------------------------------- And just cause I am writing, here is another one that I recently did: The client was a goat. I just happened to be standing there when this goat suddenly dropped down with eyes rolled back and giving the appearance of a seizure. I immediately utilized Clinical Qigong and the goat popped right up after 10 seconds of wai qi liao fa application. The guy who was standing next to me was wide eyed with an incredulous look on his face and exclaimed "Did you see that! I said yes, I saw that. -
Me too. Or just bend down occasionally and touch Earth with flat of palms. This will discharge any static buildup.

I have one of the original tri-field meters - haven't used it in years but it was very informative, and very reasonably priced. Make sure whatever meter you look at has the frequency response and type of field measurement you are interested in. "...you can ground the mat via the building's electrical system..." I know many do, but I personally would NEVER do that. I run a separate solid ground with copper rod driven in ground a minimum of 4 - 8 feet depending on soil type for any project where I want ground unless it is specific for the building's electrical system. When I experimented with body grounding methods many years ago I also made sure I had a solid disconnect for when storms were approaching.

Who have we become!? Who else is disgusted by the interconnected dependence of human-energy we have created?
Ya Mu replied to 4bsolute's topic in General Discussion
4bsolute, You have arrived at a realization most energetic practitioners go through. It is enough to weigh a person down as it is shocking to be walking around believing all we are taught by our peers and the lies of society/government, and then all of sudden make this realization. I call it "the misery of humanity". But there are further realizations. As MH said, we must look to our self first. Shine brightly with the realization of who we really are. Then walk among others. Change their state of being with a smile here, an encouraging word there, a bit of help when one needs it, emitting positive clean energetics. Shine as the powerful Being of Light we really are. Through real information instead of misinformation, through real knowing of our inner being, through real manipulation of the fabric of the universe, through real recognition of the real part of others as the real part of ourselves. Only then can we change what has become of humanity. Laugh, run, jump and play, and have fun. Be yourself instead of getting bogged down by the misery of humanity.- 26 replies
