  1. Green lantern?

I believe you guys to be correct in your thinking. There ARE multiple similarities in these "made up" systems and scenarios versus the real thing. Possibly the question to ask is why? Is it simple research? IMO it is not research but an overall consciousness. The creative writers and producers are picking up on this influence. I mean "Star Wars" hit so many years ago, but the system is uncanny in the similarities to high level wei qi liao fa. Green Lantern is similar (in concept). Could it be the universe is helping to prepare humanity for the shift to these type of things? I have said over and over, for a long time, that medical qigong, utilizing wei qi liao fa, is Future's Medicine Today. And what I see in the workshops I teach is a most definite shift in awareness compared to 20 years ago. Even first time healers, in my workshop, are having a result rate from 80% to 100%. This was not true 20 years or even 10 years ago. IMO the movies are not just escapism, but reflections of humanity's overall consciousness.
  2. real dan-tien

Non, Everyone has a center but the field itself has to be created. You will receive a lot of opinions on this - I see you already have. In our system, the teacher helps the student create the field then the student goes home and works at increasing the density, strength, and vibration of the field. Some other systems depend on long term try; may or may not happen. No system works without the practice.
  3. Green lantern?

I haven't seen it. Apparently critics didn't like it. When I was young and read Green Lantern for the first time it triggered a past life memory of energetics use. I doubt the producers were cool enough to actually consult energetics practitioners - but could be wrong. edit: I do plan on seeing it.
  4. Energy systems?

Then consider learning neigong - total energy system. www.qigongamerica.com Next workshop probably in Indiana late summer / early fall.
  5. Did Lao Tzu do Tai Chi or Qigong?

A good answer. In the oral tradition of what I was taught we have stories of "long ago" travelers utilizing qi manipulation techniques not only for healing but for practical application like scaring away wild animals when traveling. These techniques exist today in our system and as I understand were derived from shamanic practices. Naturally, when such a thing as a "Taoist" came along they adopted these practices. In the same oral tradition these is even a story of a shaman telling the people to go on a long, long journey to another land far away and that the way would disappear after them. Which of course is referring to the theory (fact?) of a land bridge connecting to the Americas and that the Native Americans were descended from Chinese. It is my understanding that this is so. Side points I know but these stories point to the understanding that "Qigong" practices do go a LONG way back. Personally, as I wrote in my first book, I do believe these practices go further back than that. And I have good reason for this belief, but certainly no proof whatsoever. In the end, it really doesn't matter if such a person as Loazi existed, or, if he did exist, did he practice "qigong". The practices TODAY speak for themselves.
  6. Tears of the Soul

It certainly started out that way before becoming derailed. To attempt to put it back on track: Healing others and developed compassion is what this thread is supposed to be about. Stillness-Movement practice and it's Medical Qigong component is actually based on compassion. Why would anyone wish to go to all the trouble of learning how to heal others without compassion in their heart? No other motivation is worthy of the practice. As we develop with the practice, the higher components of compassion manifest. In other words, due to what we see and feel when utilizing higher level vibration energy for healing, we come to a knowing of the power of true compassion. This is not a pure Taoist nor a pure Buddhist practice as it has components of each and strives to rise above any limitation of either. In other words, from a Taoist standpoint, we learn to dance in the Wu Wei. By doing so, we rise above any written thing and are in tune with what any particular writer of Taoist or Buddhist thought has written about. Kwan Yin was revered not by just by any particular religion, but by many folks, in many places in the world. Influence through China is definitely a part of QuanYin's legacy. Did Kwan Yin practice healing? My information says yes, but it is difficult to find written component of this. My understanding and orally passed down information is that Kwan Yin has many incarnations, both as male and female and most definitely was a healer. I can definitely say this; in my workshops I really don't talk about this, but later on ALL serious students of the Stillness-Movement healing system gravitate to an understanding of Kwan Yin and start asking more about Kwan Yin. Many have visions and understandings from the Higher Levels of Kwan Yin during practice of Dreaming Stillness-Movement. Healing others has many components, but yes, compassion is it's base, or at least it is in this system.
  7. Tears of the Soul

Thanks. Medical qigong is a passion with me for many reasons. Sure, it is easy to be overly enthused sometimes about anything we are passionate about. I will add one thing and then shut up about Buddhism, as this thread has already gotten totally de-railed. What many of the Buddhists here do not realize is that quite a bit of my training came from the teachings of one of the four holy Buddhist mountains, from the Golden Summit at the top of the mountain. I am not anti-Buddhist, quite the opposite. I AM, however, anti-dogma. I think true spirituality should rise above any particular religious thinking of any kind. I do know some of the things I was taught and that I have discovered through my practice are difficult for people who have not been exposed to these type of processes. I know the medical qigong and the practices leading to the ability, are something desperately needed in this world and will continue to teach it. I have Christian Theologians, Buddhist Monks, Taoists, Catholic Priests, Baptist Ministers, TCM Doctors, MD's & Surgeons, Therapists of all kinds, housewives, firemen, policemen and others who have all learned Medical Qigong - funny that it works for all of them. We should all learn to get along.
  8. Tears of the Soul

    double post
  9. Tears of the Soul

"Sure, if you say i am ignorant, then perhaps i am. Probably a result of being drastically over-indoctrinated in some religion, as you hinted." If you say so. I asked YOU to delete the insults but don't if you wish to be the type of person that adds personal insults to a discussion. It seems a very low-level thing to do. What kind of pathway is that? IMO, certainly not a spiritual one.
  10. Tears of the Soul

No, I say it because you are ignorant in the subject field of medical qigong, you are purposefully insulting me, AND you have no clue what my thinking or motivations are. If you continue on this personal attack perhaps I should consider finding some choice personal words for you as well (nah, I will not stoop to your level of insults). IS that what you are shooting for? You didn't post in this thread because you actually are trained in medical qigong and understand it - at all. (and I definitely will retract this statement if you show that you are indeed certified in medical qigong) What I think is that what I say hits a nerve with an indoctrinated religion you practice, but I could be wrong. But choosing to personally attack me is wrong as well. I'll be glad to discuss the ideas but not until you choose to cease this personal attack and delete your insulting posts. I believe everyone has the right to believe in whatever they wish. But when someone says something that goes against that belief, they should not then take to personal insults.
  11. Tears of the Soul

Well, it was a rhetorical set of questions ["But I do ask anyone to consider this:"]. The souls themselves? Probably no, as there is no growth pathway; i.e. why bother. Can helping utilizing energetics be dangerous? Absolutely. Just as it is dangerous for an untrained person with a scalpel to do brain surgery, it is dangerous for a person untrained in medical qigong to attempt applying it. There is nothing wrong with meditation, if that is what you are referring to, which is not what I was referring to. I would however, suggest, that there is an extreme difference in meditation styles and goals. I have read posted here that meditation is meditation - all the same. Of course it isn't. One example is a "zen like" meditation that relaxes the body and calms the mind versus a meditation that relaxes the body, calms the mind, and stimulates the creative centers. An interesting note here is that doctors in Japan measured the brain waves of zen masters and qigong masters and found exactly what I mention here. Everyone should read what I wrote. I never once said compassion was restricted to areas of sickness and health. Is it not compassionate to help walk an elderly person across the street, if that is what is put in front of you when walking in the wu wei? There are many paths; why I said there was a choice. To clarify, let me attempt a better articulation of what I said. I know of no path that is more powerful in giving growth potential in compassion as the healer's path. Sure we can strive for compassion in all things we do - and should.
  12. Tears of the Soul

Well, I did say it was a choice. But I do ask anyone to consider this; why would any soul wish to come here to the Earth only to go back and sit in the void. Why bother? Who does it help? Assuming responsibility is the only way to actually help others. "So skip the "I've an image to uphold here hence i have to protect and defend this image" attitude, and you will gain a wider audience (not that you need one, but i am just saying...)." This was totally uncalled for, you have NO IDEA why I post what I post and you have NO IDEA what my attitude is. So please stop this type of posting and stick with the topics.
  13. Tears of the Soul

To be perfectly clear, I didn't think you were asking out of context; I thought you did't fully read what I wrote, as what you posted was nowhere near what I said. This was why I re-posted what I had written. Yes, I do have a sense of humor, however I was not exercising it with what I wrote. I think this is very serious material.
  14. Tears of the Soul

Just for the record it does not please me at all, as you imply, to call attention to passive aggressive posting. For a few people who post on this board it is a far too common type of posting. I think the whole community would be more pleased without it. I totally agree with your last statement.
  15. Tears of the Soul

You never for once had a legitimate question about the system I teach and you know it, but tried to start some crap with non-sense questions then throwing other qigong into it. Your passive aggressive manner is showing itself again. I did try to answer you legitimately. Now where does this say "little (you)". Everything is not about you. You assume too much, again. "I believe in education, not in healing. Healing makes you dependant, education gives you a chance not to become in need of it." What do you think medical qigong training is if not education? It doesn't matter what you believe, it is a valid medical system that works and is far less obtrusive/invasive than conventional medicine, addressing those things that conventional medicine cannot. "Let me return the favour, and remind you what others have called you out for: if someone is not being sophomoric about you and your teachings, it doesn't necessarely mean that they are attacking you." No one has called me out for anything that I recall. Do you think by saying it that it that others believe you?You think people don't see through your passive aggressive behavior, but I remind you again you have been called out by others on this pattern of posting (real, not just saying it). Why not just ask a real question if you really want to know something? Is that too much trouble? Why not quit contaminating this thread, which was your original purpose, and start another about compassion and healing and neigong and your beliefs on western medicine and neigong? We have gotten far far away from the OP's posts. Re-read and tell me where it says what you just wrote: "I realize that not everyone is interested in healing others. A lack of compassion in this world is very evident. I know no pathway that comes so powerfully close as the healer's path in learning/developing true compassion. If a qigong teacher or student can't manipulate qi, what kind of teacher or student is he/she? Not qigong or neigong, IMO." Saying that I know of no pathway that is as powerful as the healer's path in learning/developing true compassion is not the same thing as saying those without healing ability lack compassion. Oranges and apples. In neigong development and healing others, which is what this thread WAS and should be STILL be about, we develop our energetics. If we do this then don't utilize it for helping others, and just sit around, how is that showing compassion? It isn't. It also will retard/limit development of the neigong. It is like this: If we sit on the couch all day and don't exercise do our muscles not get weak? If we never think or develop our minds with exposure to life (say we sit on the couch all day and never experience anything), do our minds not get weak? It is the same with neigong development. We are referring to neigong qi development. Once a person has developed qi internally, learning creativity via manipulating the fabric of the universe (creating, or manifesting a healing) is a most excellent way to develop the qi further. Taoist thought says we have to develop compassion and practice High virtue. The healers path excels in this development. Or we can choose to sit around in the void and do nothing. Always a choice, but which path offers the best opportunity for development? IMO and IME the healer's path does. Furthermore I believe that those who choose to sit around in the void are not assuming responsibility for their true nature.
  16. Tears of the Soul

The pattern I have seen with you is this mildly passive aggressive method of posting you do which I do believe you think is not obvious to people. You have already been called out on this by others. I am not assuming anything, just stating that I have seen distinct lack of compassion in this world. In fact, I do believe a person would have to be blind to not see this. As far as qi manipulation goes, that IS what qigong/neigong IS and DOES. Try it sometime, you might like it.
  17. Tears of the Soul

Wasn't assuming at all. Just noticing what I see as a pattern. I don't have the time to debate philosophy or religion or discuss other's qigong with the exception of an occasional comment, but I am always glad to answer specific questions about Stillness-Movement. Really, though, all these things become self-evident through the practice. edit: I realize that not everyone is interested in healing others. A lack of compassion in this world is very evident. I know no pathway that comes so powerfully close as the healer's path in learning/developing true compassion. If a qigong teacher or student can't manipulate qi, what kind of teacher or student is he/she? Not qigong or neigong, IMO.
  18. Nei Kung

If you want to learn how to heal others then you should look at a medical qigong program. There are several teachers that offer a complete medical qigong certification program.
  19. Tears of the Soul

If you want info from JAJ go see him. Until you have undergone the things I posted above it means nothing so to talk further means nothing. It all becomes self-evident with the practice. If I told you that yes, this is exactly what we do in Stillness-Movement Dreaming Neigong, then you would want to know what the next step was, and so on. EVERYONE has to start where they are NOW and move forward. TALKING does not raise the energy body vibration, practice does. This is what it takes BEFORE any of the other things can happen. It really is a never ending process. There are ALWAYS higher levels, even in Spiritual immortality. Read the book, and if you have specific questions about Stillness-Movement I would be glad to answer them.
  20. Tears of the Soul

Thought I would address this a bit more here. There is way more than I can write in a post but here are some key things. Stillness-Movement practice raises the vibration of the energy body. This does multiple things. AS we go through life, from childhood to where we are at any given now, we are told by those surrounding us that things are a certain way; i.e. mind induced beliefs. These beliefs becomes reinforced over and over. They become imprinted in the energy body and are filters through which we evaluate and see things. These imprints are actually very powerful. By practicing Stillness-Movement and raising the energy body vibration we first burn through all these filters. As we do so, we slowly start seeing the true underlying nature of things. This is the first step. By practicing Stillness-Movement we also learn to cut the mind/brain influence through a dampening of the brain waves and tuning into pure Light. This is another step. The mind becomes the slave instead of the ruler; it IS the ruler in the majority of the population and becomes our worst enemy, totally suppressing our connection to who we really are and our Higher Level self. So, mastering the slave and the true you becoming the ruler is another step. All this leads toward connection with the real you, the Higher Level self. So another step is to integrate yourself. Then we learn to practice stopping the world and what I call "Listening". This is a moment by moment of the moment process and takes quite a bit of practice. My next book concentrates on this "Listening" process. Eventually, these process steps help us to learn to SEE. True compassion develops through the integration of ourselves. Through this process, due to our raising the energy body vibration, we learn to help others through the direct manipulation of the very fabric of the universe. This is our Stillness-Movement medical qigong. A part of this is about assuming responsibility for who you really are. This manipulation of energetics IS futures's medicine today. (Future's medicine but learned and practiced NOW by students of Stillness-Movement). SEERS see this as a person practices: 1) Dan Tian becomes vibrant and dense and larger, becoming more vibrant and more dense until a white light rises up through the body, opening in turn each and every energy center in a natural and easy progression. Then it pops out the top of the head and connects with Heaven. There are many ways to look at this. In more traditional Taoist terms we could say the teacher lights the fire and creates dan tian in the student. We could talk about the "Listening" as the practice of High Virtue and learning "dancing in the wu wei". I could go on; hopefully this helps.

  23. Tears of the Soul

I have made many posts on this board concerning the spiritual pathway of one of the more powerful neigong systems available, Stillness-Movement neigong. Do you have a specific question to ask? As already suggested, you can always read the book. Immortality? Are you speaking physical or Spiritual? How many physical immortals do you know? Your questions are obtuse philosophical questions that have been debated since time began.
  24. Nei Kung

I would not recommend forced MCO opening, IMO it is better to open naturally. The Gift of the Tao Movements are highly energetic and are a good neigong system. Currently there is only Gift of Tao I on DVD but I teach Gift of the Tao II at my workshops and will at some point release them on DVD.
  25. Michael Lomax

I also LOVE doing GOT movements on the beach there; so powerful! Some great examples! What folks need to understand is that, when we IMMERSE ourselves in Stillness-Movement neigong and ASSUME responsibility, walk in the qi and practice Listening, we WILL have these occurrences as we then are Dancing in the Wu Wei. My horses do the same thing you describe. When I walk out in the field (Outstanding in my field- HA) my horses come up to me and if they have a problem I will put my hand on them and they will adjust their body right to the place where they wish for me to work on. I don't even have to palpate. The age old communication system of energetics at work here!
