  1. Hi April, I think all High Level methods share truths. Otherwise they would be illusions, yes? The Stillness-Movement system is a Chinese neigong system that was taught by Teacher Wang Juemin. Teacher Wang was recognized by his peers as one of the more accomplished qigong/neigong Masters of his time and was indeed a National Treasure. The Teachers he studied with were also recognized as the more accomplished Masters of their time. So this neigong system has quite a bit of history and is it's own thing. Are there similar practices that can help others arrive to the same state? Quite possibly. The sitting practice when practiced alone without the hand-me-down info that is transferred with Awakening Qi Projection could be similar, I don't know. Stillness-Movement is a practice that has many components; sitting (NOT meditation as most define meditation), standing, walking, running, tree negiong, and powerful hospital & clinic utilized treatment based methodology for healing others. For more information you may wish to read A Light Warrior's Guide as listed on www.qigongamerica.com . I suggest you start a new thread about JJ Semple's work and your involvement. I am sure people on this board will find it fascinating.
  2. How many have stopped to think of the far reaching implications of the USA gulf coast oil situation? At the very minimum, a possible devastation of a multi-billion dollar industry. At the maximum, a possible change of economics that could put the nation over the edge economically and possible endangerment to world's food supply? What do you think? Do you think the actual amount of oil coming out is reported or censored? Why can't the officials be told the ingredients in the "dispersant"? Is it going to prove to be extremely harmful? Is BP done for economically or do they make enough money that a weeks operation will pay for everything so far? How will that effect the world? No more deep well drilling? Effect on nation due to peak oil production has already come & gone? Why will they (BP & coast guard) not allow alternative means of cleanup to be used? And what about economic refugees from the gulf states - where are they going to go?
  3. Good info, but some of the products don't go all that far into making it happen without complete synergistic effect of all the others. Several years ago, my glutathione enhancement immune program protocol was mostly what you have listed: Whey shake, NAC, Milk thistle, alpha lipoic acid, B vitamins and selenium, 6 grams C daily, and many other neutriceuticals and antioxidants combined. Rebounding exercise 20 min 3x per day. Does it work? Sure did for me. But that sure is a BUNCH of stuff to keep up with and take. And without taking it all, difficult to get full effect. Now, thanks to research by a doctor working on an anti-aids drug, we have the MaxGxl which has been proven to raise glutathione levels in the body. Makes things much easier and one doesn't need the quantity of the substances due to enhanced bioavailability. So this is what I take now. I still do the whey shake mostly because I don't eat much meat and need the protein. I like it as well. The one I take is free of contaminants, melamine free, minimally processed to insure the proteins remain undenatured and soluble. Made by Vital Nutrients, New Zealand High Protein Whey Powder 92%.
  4. A person can go quite far in 2 years. The ones that don't either are not practicing a real qigong system, do not practice daily, or get distracted by nonsense such as opening the third eye (see my article "3rd eye obsession), wanting to move paper with qi, wanting to set things on fire with qi, desire power for power's sake instead of investing in knowledge of who they really are and finding true compassion, etc. Thankfully this does not describe my students. As you can see from his post, the person who was not distracted and actually practiced has gained really big in Power to be used with compassion for others and has begun to "SEE" quite nicely.
  5. Sending chi to site of injury

Sorry, no 2 cents today, only have a penny's worth. The problem with you attempting to do this is that you are at the same energy potential as yourself. So you will get extremely limited effect of attempting to utilize "sword fingers" or other external type of qi manipulation. My advice is to find a qigong healer to help you. Depending on if they remove just tissue or tissue and bone will probably be part of the determining factor of the length of recovery. The effects of a few qigong treatments could and should give you a real and noticeable headway in reducing healing time. If you are unwilling to seek someone trained in this (I know I would) then the best advice I could give you would be just to continue with your internal practice. One thing you can do, after you have built up your qi in a practice session, is take the qi down the leg and run it out of the body at the place of surgery. This may make it hurt more initially but could help. But the effects will not be anywhere near that of a person trained in waiqi liao fa. Curcuma is a friend of mine and could be a friend of yours as well... Also ask your local Chinese doctor about an appropriate formula.
  6. ...And to a student who actually practices what is taught, is not distracted by worrying about nonsense but embraces what is revealed, and who has learned compassion for others is one of the single most important things we can learn in this lifetime. I am honored to have someone of kempomaster's studied accomplishments to not only learn the Stillness-Movement system, but to go out in the trenches and put it into practice helping others utilizing waiqi liao fa.
  7. I was thinking when I wrote this that I should do a mini-video of these and put it up on you-tube. They are a simple and quick isotonal form that can be done in less than 3 minutes and were taught to me by Dr Vincent Graef, D.O. in the early 80's. I would attempt to describe them but maybe better if I shoot a vid. One key in doing them is that we only use 30% percent of our strength. I certainly do not mind sharing these. They may or may not be similar to other isotonal type exercises but I have never looked around for such and really don't know. I use them as a warm up in my qigong workshops.
  8. Third Eye

To the OP: The surest way I know of opening all the energy centers including "third eye" is to practice Stillness-Movement. It will happen. As a side note to anyone else that may be interested in other viewpoints concerning "third eye": article: 3rd eye obsession
  9. Spiritual Lineage

Are you serious about paying $97? Please cancel the order. Someone is ripping you off. The book sells for $24.95. Shipping to Iraq or Afganistan? (I am assuming here) should be about $15 or so if it is similar to shipping from states to Europe.
  10. My thanks to both you and mjjbecker for taking the time to post review and comments about this amazing practice. Thanks to all the others who have taken the time to comment as well. When we find something that is profound, real, and intensely helpful it gives us a good feeling to share with others. It was Master Wang's wish that this system be taught all over the world saying "It is NOW time" for this to happen. He felt an intense compassion for humanity and this shines through in the practice itself. All aspects of the system are demonstrative of this intense compassion; self-healing, true self and universal awareness, healing others, and the world transformation aspects of the system all contribute to this. Edit: The London workshop is looking better all the time; we have received inquires from all over Europe. But as in all things it will require time & effort in order to happen. Here is the email address mjjbecker posted again for anyone that may have an interest in this potential workshop: [email protected]
  11. Detoxing

Freedom from living an amnesia of who you really are. Freedom from being bogged by the illusions of the mundane through the process of burning through these illusions. Freedom to participate in creation rather than being a victim inside creation. Freedom to walk in the Wu Wei and be in the synchronicity of the ebb and flow of creative energetics. Freedom to wake up and evolve through utilizing the many true processes. ...find and fulfill your Destiny. Difficult to do without raising the energy body vibration so as to link with your Higher Level self. I talk about all this in A Light Warrior's Guide.
  12. when tongue on the palate, teeth together or not?

Craig, Thanks for posting your experience. I suspect that anyone with TMJ type problems would induce a flareup if they attempted to keep the teeth together. The one thing that seems to be the most aggravating to this type of problem is grinding of teeth and jaw tension. And I see a world of it in clinic as there are few health-care/therapeutics practitioners that can do anything about it. For anyone who does not have tension or TMJ related problems I see no reason for them not to compare the positions.
  13. Preconceived Notions Versus Tao
  14. Preconceived Notions Versus Tao

Even when we know better. I had long ago determined it has no meaning to make predictions concerning energetics.
  15. when tongue on the palate, teeth together or not?

This is what I was taught as well. I do see Craig's point but I haven't found it to make any difference and actually couldn't personally do this teeth together thing if it did. I do believe it is key to not have tension. Some people can put teeth together without tension while others, such as myself, would have vast problems if they attempted it this way. The energy will jump and with the tongue connection it forms a very good circuit.
  16. Question on Breath

This post on Qigong: Breath Control Versus Natural Breathing gives more detail and explanation
  17. Question on Breath

I don't know of anything that demonstrates our lack of breath depth than running or rebounding. If anyone does 3-5 miles running or 20-30 minutes rebounding they are immediately shown that they have been missing the top portion of their breathing. The running or rebounding will expand the lungs to re-gain this depth. Also, one of the things I have found is key is the outbreath. Most don't expel all the air. When we do there is a natural expansion of the inbreath. As far as breathing qigong exercises I don't do them. I think people should learn to breathe naturally then practice the energetics without imposing the limitations of breath control into the practice.
  18. Third Eye

Depends on who you are as to when it can/will happen. During a natural process neigong method, it will just about always happen, BUT in a safe and natural instead of forced manner. Every energy center below it should be opened and balanced. For instance, what happens when a person forces open the "3rd eye" before they have opened and balanced Heart? IMO it should never be done.
  19. Qigong as a Portal to Presence

YES! Self-practice awakens one to who they really are, refines those abilities, and burns through the illusions.
  20. You call that massage?

We all need a little help now and then for those blockages.
  21. You call that massage?

Qi manipulation massage. The qi tells the nerve to tell the muscle to loosen. And so it does. Nearly 100% result rate in pain elimination; if only muscles are involved 100% result rate. I like peppermint tea too. Have you ever tried growing it? Planted some where I used to live and it kinda got away from us, all over the place.
  22. You call that massage?

35 years clinic practice, diplomas from Chinese hospitals, etc LOL I DO practice Chinese therapeutic techniques. And yes, that is totally not necessary for massage to be effective. You said "massage" in your original post and that is what I was refering to. Cupping is not massage but "cupping". I do see where you say "suction domes" but the pic said massage and I thought the "suction domes" was after you got "massage" that did what was posted in the pic. Bad and inefficient practice IS no matter who is getting it. Lots of inefficient practices still in TCM. Lots of good practices in TCM. Agree that optimum is no pain anywhere. It is not necessary to give pain to remove pain. And it doesn't matter whether the body is rigid or loose. No pain is needed.
  23. You call that massage?

Massage does not have to or need to hurt.
  24. You call that massage?

agreed As long as you feel better that is what counts. But I assure you that massage doesn't have to be painful to work and so much totally disagree with the statement This is simply not true at all. And the pic demonstrates skin trauma; what kind of "junk" were you told this represents? Unless you are getting instant relief and really like this type of trauma I suggest you find another therapist. Perhaps Tui Na?
