"Diagnose ailments and pinpoint the specific areas that need attention simply by passing the Acu-Pen over your palm" Yeah, right. There is something to acupoint stimulation with electricity but the above statement really turns me off. There are several "qigong" machines out there as well. The problem is that they only represent one component of the whole with no intent, no feedback, and no Spirit connection. I do think that at some point science will be able to properly talk about "subtle" not-so-subtle energies.

Yes to non-polished. My understanding is he created it just for his friends and it kinda snowballed. But yeah - IMO there is something happening.

The brain and intellectual masterbation is the illusion. When I say "what you feel" I do not mean emotional - and agree that would be "crap" - but what you feel is happening through wu wei. In other words tuning into the "beyond brain". Of course the guy that posted all that is a young man and his beliefs shaped what he posted. "Or do you just "feel" that Anna Lind was murdered by the NWO and that the ridiculous 32 000 dinosaur artifacts are real so you do not need to relate to facts?" I feel nothing of the sort - again - you are focusing on parts that have no meaning instead of looking at everything - I personally know nothing whatsoever about Anna Lind and could care less about that and am wondering why you are focusing on this aspect. It is within the sphere of science - in fact many scientists believe that it is so - that dinosaurs and many other species were killed off by instant climate change. It seems obvious to me but NOW I could care less. What I do care about is what I feel happening through walking in the wu wei at each instant. A big change IS happening and anyone tuned in can "feel" it. I am not arguing anything whatsoever concerning what that guy posted that I linked to (with the exception of denver airport does not feel right- I try to avoid it) - I found it interesting. I stated quite clearly that IMO everyone should draw there own conclusions. My personal conclusions are a bit different and involve 2 worlds. Anyone that hasn't "seen" that there have been many civilizations on this planet simply hasn't bothered to do so. I meant what do you feel at the airport? Sure he put a slant on it; still is weird as heck - but, when you are there, what do you feel (not emotional feel)?

"Experts" of the christian science monitor??? Almost busted a gut on that one What do you feel when you go to the Denver airport? What do you feel when you go to the denver airport? To me, the murals and everything else there feels oh so wrong. Talk about "through the lens", it seems to me the desire to not believe something is as potent as the desire to believe something. This is the reason I posted this - to see which lens folks were looking through. My suggestion is to go with what you feel instead of the intellectual "lens".

It seems to me that he did try to not put personal opinions in his research - but of course we are all swayed by personal opinion and I am sure he was as well. Now, just because you disagree with 2 of the many things brought up (and your statements actually prove nothing but reflect your opinion - which I grant is just as valid as his opinion), it seems you are going to dismiss all of the things brought up. Much of what he researched is absolute fact per best knowledge available and/or reported resources. IMO the pics alone are worth reading his research. I am certainly not arguing either way, but the old saying "don't throw the baby out with the bath water" should apply here. Everyone should draw their own conclusions.

Yeah, I think so too. When that airport first was built, I went there and felt the negativity. Told my wife there is something drastically wrong.

Listening - very good Sloppy! OP If you want to learn qigong you may find looking through www.nqa.org helpful. Lists of certified teachers.

My point was that better things will not happen as a result. So we disagree on that. As far as the DVD - because that is what they are. What you are missing is that Power that I am referring too is something that can't be acquired through mundane efforts but through High Level (heavenly) qigong practices, Listening, Alignment with the Light, Walking in the Wu Wei, and the diligent practice of Virtue. The movements in the Gift of the Tao are reflected patterns as seen on the Higher Levels in Dreamtime. So yes, these moves are Vibratory Acts of Power. If you have never tried them you may wish to do so and find out for yourself.

Yes, this absolutely does happen with Stopping the World. I did the same thing in a sleep lab. With proper technique this can be briefly done for another person. And yes, we have measured this happening too, although not in sleep lab but using a laptop and instrumentation - kind of like what is seem in the vid above.

To each whatever they want to do. To me, it would feel very "icky" and unnatural to do that type of vibration. So no, I do not think those type of demos do anything at all. I don't understand why folks don't think healing a person is more awesome; I surely do. I used to do all sorts of demo's thinking along the lines you are thinking. Didn't do anyone any good - got none in my classes from doing "demo". The only time I have ever gotten a student from "doing a demo" was when I threw qi at this girl who walked up to me and said she wanted to feel qi. I no longer "throw" qi, either, as she was knocked several feet away and lay in an unconscious heap. These are lessons learned in what not to do. I have about beat this subject to death and cannot help anyone concerning this. This is simply not how we train in High Level qigong. If it is in your system go for it. Think of it this way. If one is occupied doing such things that have no reward for others how can they at the same time practice Listening in order to walk in wu wei?

You pickin on me again? I think you may have confused who said what. I don't think I said "special abilities is the wrong way to go". What I said was that, any talents one has will naturally manifest with the practice. So there is no need to be concerned with "chasing" it. No need to be concerned with being "scared" of them, because these talents are a natural part of you. I did say no need to try to "train" moving things like paper (IMO a waste of time; wrong vibration) if you wish to progress to higher levels. By the very nature of Heavenly (High Level) qigong, there is a mix of things needed to progress. The vibrations attuned to and practiced daily with (see this thread for more on that, posts 228 & 229) practice of Virtue, and walking in the wu wei. And calmness. IMO we should embrace any talents we have and use them within the dance (walking/dancing in the wu wei). This means we project energy when there is a need. We show up at 3 PM at a certain place because there is a need (wu wei dancing = synchronicity). I don't think anyone can walk this path without being spiritually attuned, what I called "alignment with the Light" (Divine, Light, Spirit, Tao). Therefore the practice of Virtue is mandatory to progress.

Well said.

I have had this type of experience and wrote of one experience in my book. Here is the short version of it. We had driven over a long and winding road first up then down the mountain. As we drove it seemed everything sparkled with an intensity greater than each previous moment. As we were coming down into a valley we saw a church - looked almost new and with a sign that said (actually can't remember exactly what it said unless I looked it up - but we both saw the same thing). I started mentioning that finally something besides a baptist church was here in these mountains and just after I started talking about it, everything shifted. The church was now old and with a totally different denomination. This was in the smokey mountains where energy shifts are quite common and where many energy "power" spots (vortices) exist. The Cherokee medicine men use these as places to do ceremonies and healings.

Alcohol works well to energetically clean; some of that hand-sterilizer type or the wipes. Alternatively you could use sandalwood oil, sage oil or rosemary oil. Put a couple of drops on a paper towel, kinda buff it up and go over the chair. Or you could set your intent on neutralizing the sick qi and project qi to clean it; results depend on your skill level.

"Did you notice the multiple sine waves and harmonics, then the dampening?" OK I finally took the time to look at it. Not the only one but notice sine wave at .39 / .40 /.41

Good point. But some reach level of hearing but don't listen.

I agree. Impossible, I think, to walk in the wu wei until we have awakened to our true self. And it is difficult for this to happen without time & effort practice. Since this time & effort practice manifests whatever natural talents one may have, IMO it naturally follows that walking in the wu wei will be easier. But we still have the choice to do so or not.
-
Ah... Wu Wei - Is that wRong way's luminous and complete opposite cousin? Who wants to fool around with that fellow when they can do stage tricks instead? Seeking power does not much good. Power is already there. Through time & effort practices, power manifests. What we do with it is entirely up to us. Either dance in wu wei or not. I like to dance. And find power works so much easier while dancing, kinda like gliding instead of having to flap the wings.

I agree with several points you make. Integrating ancient practices with modern is a grand thing. I have a couple of senior students who integrate medical qigong with hypnosis and it helps a lot of people. Also your point about adding to teachings. It is every teachers grandest hope that their students will surpass them.

Thoughtful post. I agree that it depends on who you are (your terms: Old soul). Some people awaken with just a small amount of "awakening" energy projection. Others will never awaken in this lifetime. Others will just surprise the heck out of you and go from "can't feel anything", "don't believe anything", "go to work come home and watch TV" to BAM.

Hi Garry, I'll leave that sort of thing to others as I have enough qi projection to do with humans, and horses and dogs and goats or whatever I need to do to help. In fact, I have a back-list so I'd better shorten this post and do my job. I consider it a waste of time - obviously you don't. That is OK. Why don't you post a video of this if that is what interests you? One comment about the video I posted. Quite a few of these type video's are with the person doing the projection in the front. Easy to "cue" the student, either on purpose or subconsciously. The projection I did was from the back; the student had no idea whatsoever what I was doing. I never said I was the only one who could do this; I have several students who can do this as well; I have seen quite a bit of qi projection in my lifetime. You will never see me wasting my energy; I have been taught to respect the Divine nature of energy manipulation. With this respect and alignment, my abilities to help others has grown. I realize you feel that it is all intent and energy, so to you moving paper seems like a grand thing. And I respect that. But to me it is not. I mean no disrespect to your teacher. I know it is possible to move paper and I do really believe he could do it. Just not my thing. I still think it does nothing to help anyone.

kinda looks like a personal insult, hope not. If so please refrain and get real. If you have something to say, say it.
-
Hi Garry, It is not that I don't believe he could do it. I do. I know you say for demonstration but I still don't understand the reasoning. I used to do all sorts of demonstrations and then just quit doing so because all the good it did was get a few ah's and oh's then nothing. But if a person projects qi and heals someone else that continues. Different ways of looking at it, I guess.

Please post a video; Ape said he would like to see it and I would as well. But please stand over 3 feet from it. Wouldn't want people to think HEAT was causing it to move.
