Destiny of Souls is an interesting book on the subject Dr By Michael Newton http://www.amazon.com/Destiny-Souls-Studies-Between-Lives/dp/1567184995 These case studies coincide with what I know from dreamtime activities.

Aw, comon! A dose of reality when a flip answer can bring out more drama? All kidding aside, I have felt the spring build up for a while now, but the last 3 evenings I felt something else, not sure what.

Perhaps the Sun's brown dwarf sister is visiting. I have felt the shift as well.

Well, we know who that was directed toward. Imagine the audacity, answering someone's question, then, when asked for more clarification, giving a personal example. Yeah, I think those types should leave this thread as well. Could it possibly be, that someone has been there done that, pursued countless hours of experimentation with physicality and qi? And could it be that someone wishes to help others with the benefit of knowledge of this countless waste of time & energy? So that they may can rise above this and really understand energetics? Na - probably not, who would believe it?

Thanks for posting the link Pietro. Very interesting!

Agreed! Thanks for posting this. While some of what is said is, I think, too generalized, It does give a nice overview. I agree with the classification in that I have seen examples in my classes of each type. I would say for the most part that the "older souls" are drawn to qigong & healing and that natural energetic laws seem to really confuse the younger souls; many of these seem to want to learn to use qi more for physical tasks than to reach higher level internal development or to use for helping others.

Yes, simple observation as well as simple palpation go a long way and are often overlooked in many disciplines in favor of more complex less return methods.

Actually I didn't say students entering in my program need previous training. The only thing I require to finish my program is college level A&P and an acupuncture/acupressure class or two familiarizing yourself with the channels and points. A person can take these classes concurrently with my program. Quite often those that don't come from other programs are often easier to teach and actually learn the medical qigong faster than folks from Acupuncture/Chiropractic/Medical schools.

I was trying to help you, but it seems that you, who cannot manipulate qi, know far more than someone who has been doing it for over 30 years. Some people cannot be helped. You are going to believe what you want to so have at it. It's easy for someone who hasn't a clue to accuse someone else of lying because they have no other argument than "I don't believe". This "I don't believe" is due to simple inexperience. I wrote of true experiences, and I took the time to print it here just to attempt to help YOU. For you to accuse me of lying is a personal attack. My understanding is that personal attacks will get a person banned from the forum.

OK, to go into this further here is a story where I finally learned my lesson on this subject: From, A Light Warrior's Guide to High Level Energy Healing: ...while under the influence of a powerful dark spirit... "..."Try knocking the bottle off the rail with your qi" That will get their attention." A bottle sat on the rail outside their room, which was about 75 feet away. To try to move it was totally preposterous, but at the time it seemed like a perfectly reasonable thing to do. I projected qi, but couldn't move the bottle. "Try again, use your reserves of qi to make the stream more dense, the spirit encouraged, "That should work." Again, this sounded the right thing to do. I gathered my full power, set my INTENT, and projected energy. This time the bottle shook but didn't fall off. "Good", the spirit said,"Try again". I tried several times and each time the bottle shook, but I could not knock it down. This type of projection costs a lot of energy. In fact, the energy loss was the whole reason the evil spirit was encouraging me to do this. He wanted me to weaken myself..."

s HA! Didn't explain it well I guess; yes I know (to my satisfaction) what worked and what didn't. Most of those things use, as already pointed out to you, convection currents from heat. To actually move objects with external qi projection requires cultivation of energies and intent that is IMO such a waste of time, and takes the practitioner in the totally wrong direction for spiritual and personal growth. Yes, to continue with what I am trying to convey above. The energy required to move an object is very dense and of a low vibrational energy. To heal others and actually manipulate energy on the quantum level we have to raise our energy body vibrational rate to a Higher Level to be able to actually manipulate the fabric of the universe. This is a lifetime pursuit and we would be going backwards to pursue the lower level densities.
-
I tried these types of things 25-30 years ago, some would work and others wouldn't. I will grant you that it is entirely possible to develop qi to move objects. I also stand by what I said in that anyone who does this is only playing with toys and wasting energy. NOT at all the same thing as which you would use to heal a person - an entirely different vibratory level. Why not learn that instead? Much more useful. Won't argue about the heat thing as it has been a LONG time since I studied thermodynamics and taught graduate school solar thermal engineering.

I'm sure ET S will show up and reply. IN the meantime I would suggest that if your interest are in ABT you look at NCCAOM certified ABT practitioner programs, search AOBTA.org for ABT practitioners , and look at medical qigong programs. None of the dedicated acupuncture schools will have the level of training in hands-on ABT or medical qigong that dedicated programs do. The NQA (nqa.org) has listings for certified teachers of medical qigong as well. It boils down to do you want acupuncture training or do you want to learn a specific ABT technique and medical qigong? You may be interested in the Taoist Medicine ABT technique that I teach in my medical qigong certification program. I have many graduates of acupuncture schools, medical schools, chiropractic schools, and massage schools attend my program.

100% agree. Qi emission is for higher level goals such as healing others. No sense in wasting energy on toys. IMO the above example is heat and not qi. Here was a reason (reason 37,699) I posted not long ago for the use of qi projection. OP: There are many medical qigong programs where the student is taught external qi projection, wei qi liao fa.

I started to comment not on Mal's post but the post "from another forum" but did so before I woke up good this morning, so I decided to be more positive and let it ride. It didn't resonate too well with me, but I guess the only thing I want to say is that proper shielding does not do what that person said and allows all interaction. But I guess this gets down to what that person was saying is "proper" versus what I am saying is "proper" so it is a needless argument. I do agree that a white light shield itself only attracts attention to oneself, but this is totally different than the meditation Mal posted. Getting hit by lightning IS something I can relate too - and dang glad I am still around to relate to it! An illuminating experience that I would not recommend.
-
When I first read your thread title I thought it said "White Lightning" and I was thinking, Oh Boy, I get to hear of a qigong experience of Mal drinking moonshine. But I misread...dang. Now where have I heard that before...

Absolutely. Worst energy loss is when people stare. My understanding and observation is that per one minute of staring it can take up to 20 minutes to restore the energy lost. There is a huge difference in the everyday leak of energy through the eyes and intentionally projecting qi through them. Are you saying you intentionally project energy through eyes when doing healing to others? If so,curious as to why? Another purpose besides healing of intentionally projecting qi to others? Also curious as to why? Or are you simply talking about circulating energy through the eyes, which I agree is good to do? I would never intentionally project qi to others through the eyes, except as the side effect of one particular method of qi healing that I occasionally use. In fact, I personally use "Sorcerer's vision" (a soft vision technique) at all times so as to NOT waste energy.

This ability is one of the talents that can manifest once someone has raised their energy body vibration. Whether any particular person develops this depend on who they are; what Spiritual Lineage they are. Also of course depends on their ability to keep energy body at a high vibrational rate. I first was exposed to this with two girls at the hospital in China where I trained that had this ability; the ability manifested after one year of practicing Stillness-Movement qigong. The hospital worked, in a way, like a western hospital. The patient was brought in and seen by the "x-ray vision" girl, then the qigong doctor would project energy until the "x-ray vision" girl saw that there was no more sick qi inside the body. I saw them correctly see many things that were verified by western medicine as well, like part of a lung missing from someone that had surgery, correct diagnosis of breast cancer, neurological problems, bone problems, and many other things. Below pic I am treating a brain tumor patient at the hospital. Master Wang and Doctor Yao are in the pic.

Don't let me talk you out of it. You CAN do it. Depends on if you already convinced you want to run for the rest of your life; if running in general doesn't sound like something you are going to stick with then the running qigong would not be fun. If it is then the running qigong is awesome.
-
Read my post above. While running in general is great for a cardio-vascular workout, complete circulation, lung expansion, muscle and organ, channel energy distribution, etc. I mentioned a specific running qigong. Running, in itself, is not qigong. Note I also said running qigong is much more difficult than standing, sitting, or moving qigong. Unless you plan on a good 20 years of training specifically in running qigong I would recommend just running for fun and health and doing qigong for same reason. The "lightness" technique, popularized but over dramatized in certain movies, is a subset of running qigong and a real thing.

Do you mean as in a handed down earthly tradition or a true Spiritual Lineage as in what Spiritual Lineage are you? Lots of info on the former not much info on the latter. I talk about the true Spiritual Lineage in the book referenced in my sig.

Yes they can be very warming. We usually have to take breaks in class when we do them because we heat the room up so much. Energized but calm - amazing feeling, eh? One of the medical qigong techniques we use is derived from this. If someone needs instantly warmed up all we need is to project that particular vibration (you know which I mean) to the person and instantly WHAM; a fire is burning brightly for them.

It sucks to have these sort of problems. But what I have seen operating a pain clinic for 30 years is that everybody has something; some can be "healed" (symptoms decease) but others get benefit in that a difference can be made. I have also had much pain and one thing that I know is that "making a difference" is worth its weight in gold. So with that in mind it sounds like you are doing something good with the therapies you are using. Are there any medical qigong folks in your area. In Indiana? I know a couple of folks that may be able to help so PM me with your location. if you are interested. I assume you are trying herbals/nutri like lots of high quality fish oil, tumeric. grape seed x-tract, etc? One formula that I like and take myself is called Curcumax (Integrative Therapeutics corp). So my personal herbal/nutritive approach for my pain and arthritic situations is Curcumax, pur epa fish oil, extra curcumin with bioperine, and grape seed phytosome. And magnesium malate at night. All except the Curcumin with bioperine I get from Integrative Therapeutics. The medical qigong can possibly help immensely. And yes, of course self practice can help and I know you are already doing that, but someone else trained in medical qigong can really make a big difference in lots of situations. To the OP: How do you feel when you stare at something for awhile? Kinda tiring, isn't it? Not really pleasant? Multiply that feeling by a hundred if you want to know what it feels like to actually project qi like you are describing.
-
So you have been trained in medical qigong qi projection techniques? I wonder where if you really are serious about this post. Certainly not from anyone that actually knows medical qigong. Very unsafe. Why would you want to do this?
