  1. 99% success? Not what I have seen; but it has been pointed out to me that the successes do not come to my clinic. What I have seen is that it is one of the most misdiagnosed injuries that exist. I would say that over 75% of the people that have been to my clinic with that diagnosis did not have real carpal tunnel syndrome. Usually it stems from neurological issues in the upper thoracic/lower cervical area as well as energy channel stagnation and is easily corrected. Even those that really have true carpal tunnel syndrome usually have components of neurological degradation at upper thoracic/lower cervical as well as energy channel stagnation and benefit dramatically with therapy and removing the cause of the problem. From what you are describing, though, it sounds like good old plain and simple as well as complex and astounding qi.
  2. women must learn to redirect their orgams too

From another thread: Methinks one has to ask, what is a higher vibration, love or lust? Lust can lead to physical bliss but love can lead to Divine bliss. The method I list in this book works equally well for women as it does for men; a direct experiencing of the Divine with true alchemy. The only gotcha with this system is that it works best (I usually say requires but it does depend on energetic experience) when male and female are qigong practitioners. Vortex posted this quote in another thread:
  3. Taoism and alcohol

Don't know what you mean by desires. These things are facts that are done in medical qigong by many practitioners everyday.
  4. Chakra Diagnosis

LMAO. Not at you but with you! This set my laughter off big time: You have discovered on your own something that quite a lot of people never realize. We utilize this energy vibration in our Spiral Qigong and in the Gift of the Tao movements (which are available on DVD). I suggest you think of Chakra's not as physical locations but as vibratory states with dimensionality. I know this goes against the general grain of thinking but this approach can help a person in their development. As far as the Stillness-Movement there are many reasons that it is better done in person. You can attend my Illinois workshop and pay me when and if you can.
  5. Taoism and alcohol

It wasn't simply a quote from Tesla but a quote of everyone who wishes to limit their understanding. It has been so throughout history and you give proof that it is still so. Don't know what you mean by your second sentence. How could one see that qi projection can take away a pain instantly, neutralize bacteria, kill virus, shrink a tumor, etc and not see that it is capable of other things. Don't limit yourself so much!
  6. Taoism and alcohol

You can make fun of things you do not understand. It is OK as that's what people have been doing since the beginning of time. I guess you are not aware of the hundreds of experiments done with wei qi liao fa in which bacteria have been neutralized? And, by the way, FYI, I am not a magician but a person who has studied qi cultivation for 30 years and uses wei qi liao fa (healing with external energy) every day to eliminate pain in other people at a clinical qigong clinic. Said the unbeliever, "You mean to tell me that machinery exists that can send these invisible waves through the air and pick it up as moving pictures and sound on a CRT? What a fool you are; nothing can do that!"
  7. I teach tree qigong in my basic 2-day workshop. Most people leave KNOWING that trees are living entities with a vibrant energy body just like we have. Very easy to verify.
  8. Taoism and alcohol

It is a technique of transmutation. But remember, nothing is free and this takes much energy and high level cultivation. My teacher had never partaken of alcohol in his life. But once he did a toast in our honor and neutralized the alcohol before he drank it. He also used me as an example, plying me with strong spirits at a feast we participated in, encouraging me to drink up, even coming to the point of almost insisting (but I was much younger and it didn't take THAT much prodding on his part) that I drink more. This came about as I asked him to teach me transmutation of toxins. I got quite drunk and couldn't stand up. He grinned really big, reached up and projected high-level qi to me for just a very few minutes. I instantly sobered up with no aftereffects. So, yes, it can be done. But no, YOU (any YOU reading this) can't do it so don't try as you could hurt yourself trying and if someone reading this has been taught this method then I am obviously not referring to you. And no, I do not publicly teach this, and no, I am not going to give anyone any proof, so consider this a story if you wish. Bottom line, alcohol is a toxin, do not drink at all if you have an overindulgent personality or if you are not legally old enough to do so. If you do choose to drink, remember the golden mean.
  9. Tai Jee is a martial art. Qigong is an energy system. Tai Jee will take many years to get proficient. A real qigong form can get you very far in 1 year. Tai Jee is a great way of exercise - not sure it is as beneficial as rebounding exercise. Qigong is a great way of raising your energy body vibration rate for awareness enhancement and is good overall for health - not sure it is as beneficial as rebounding as a physical exercise. A really good idea is do both or at least a movement qigong form and internal qigong form simultaneously. Why don't you try both and see what you like - only learn from teachers that actually know what each is.
  10. question about nonduality and sex

Yes! I think this transcends Buddhist or Taoist thought and gets to the real truth. I put in bold your words that seem to be a stumbling block for many.
  11. Everything you wanted to know about ...

I can't decide if Drew is one of the craziest, most delusional posters on here or if he should be nominated for the Nobel prize as one of the most brilliant folks alive. Right now I am leaning towards the brilliance but may change my mind later. I do hope to see him utilize those talents to ease suffering in others instead on being fixated on the orgasms as what he is describing is an advanced qi projection method/talent used in healing that few posses. But that is just me. I wish Drew the best.
  12. question about nonduality and sex

Another thing you may wish to try is rebounding exercise (jumping on miniature trampoline). This will help stimulate all channels and bring better circulation to hands/feet. Trunk's suggestion is also very good. I have seen Chinese herbs make huge difference - only don't advise you play with them without seeing a TCM practitioner. FWIW I don't see any conflict in you learning the KAP and Stillness-Movement. There are some others who are practicing Stillness-Movement who have done the KAP. I will say that I would be VERY surprised if you practiced Stillness-Movement for 100 days and didn't achieve normalization of the cold hands and feet, assuming you don't have a genetic/bacterial/viral/neuro-damage component. In fact I would be very surprised if you didn't get hot as a firecracker all over the first or at least 2nd day in a workshop. If you ever decide to try it I'll offer you guaranteed no cold hands/feet after 100 days of practice or your funds for the workshop refunded (but you would have to practice). Also most women who practice Stillness-Movement have reported normalization of ALL female system aspects, including sex drive, PMS, irregular cycle, ability to achieve orgasms, Dysmenorrhea, and other.
  13. Agreed. Some seem to think there is a qigong master on every corner. I have found many good qigong practitioners and many good qigong doctors but only one qigong master. I guess it depends on one's definition of the word "master".
  14. Taoism and alcohol

Don't know where you got that impression... Very strong? How about 440 high performance WOW straight 10,000 proof white lightning- and they told me it was wine. Actually found a few good beers - considered it safer at the time than drinking water...
  15. Taoism and alcohol

Pay attention to the side effects!
  16. Qi Dao - Lama Somananda Tantrapa

Well, I said it was an arguable point. I will concede that once a person learns to manipulate energy then ANYTHING can be turned into a qi kung fu. But there is always the matter of efficiency, eh? Ah.. I hadn't listened to the recording because I listened to the original interview and it was quite clear. Damaris Jarboux has a 4 year medical qigong program and is located in Boulder, Colorado. I have taught as a guest teacher at her school and consider her to be an exceptional teacher. She had really dedicated and powerful students there; several of her students have taken further classes with me and they are top notch. My whole point in mentioning this interview was that (and this is only my viewpoint) it seemed he was not very respectful or at least somewhat challenging in the interview and didn't appear to at all understand the concepts that Damaris put forth in the interview.
  17. Qi Dao - Lama Somananda Tantrapa

Several on here would probably say different but IME & IMO don't think it has anything whatsoever to do with qigong - it is a Tai Jee technique. IMO it develops PHYSICAL sensitivity and NOT energy sensitivity. This point can be argued and I am sure it will but this is my experience. Listen to his interview with Damaris Jarboux here. She is the real deal in Qigong teachers.
  18. The Hampton is full, but I have a couple of rooms set back if anyone wants them.
  19. Eight Silken Forms

I put in bold your words that say what I am talking about. Don't have to leave rebounder to do this. In addition to Stillness-Movement neigong I also do movement qigong (several of the Gift of the Tao movements) while rebounding as well. Got to love rebounding.
  20. Eight Silken Forms

Jumping on a rebounder (mini-trampoline). As far as efficiency goes, nothing compares. I turn it into a qigong as I do Stillness-Movement on the rebounder.
  21. I voted "Not being able to personally study with authentic teachers" but as I said in your other thread the biggest problem is the seekers themselves being attracted to new age phenomena and many thinking if you are not Chinese you don't know anything about Taoism. Big opportunity and following for Chinese men in business suits; this is addressed by your other option "Unqualified teachers attempting to teach Taoism" so I also vote for that one.
  22. Good points! I find that the majority of people in the west think that Taoism is an entirely different thing than it is. The real thing can be right in front of them but most people seem to like going for phenomena teachings and new-age chakra stuff (as long as it has the word "chakra" in it they go for it whether it has any meaning or not). Very difficult to find serious students.
  23. Qi Dao - Lama Somananda Tantrapa

I've met the fellow. He seems to be really big on push-hands and the like. Nice enough guy. I don't know what happened but he recently either got fed up with the NQA or the NQA got fed up with him; he no longer is a part of the organization. I listened to one of his interviews when he interviewed a friend of mine who runs a 4 year medical qigong program. This lady knows what she is talking about and IMO he was disrespectful in the interview.
  24. Eight Silken Forms

Yes same thing, but what you will find is there are several ways of doing the 8 pieces of brocade. I consider them good stretching and muscle exercises but not much in the way of qigong. Worth learning and doing. You can find at least 20-30 versions on DVD and in books. IMO, as exercises they don't compare with the efficiency of rebounding and as qigong they don't compare with energetic qigong systems. But still worth doing; will help keep you limber as you grow old.
  25. Illiteracy In Biology&Anatomy

I didn't vote, because if I did I would have to vote twice. Once for very important, and once for irrelevant. On the one hand I require college level anatomy & physiology for graduates of my medical qigong certification program. Self-explanatory common sense - they will be working on other people. But on the other hand, in day 1 of my program I start trying to shake people out of mental activities to get them to remove the mind from the equation in order to tune into the wu wei. I think it depends on which of these arts we are referring to. For example, martial artists practicing arts such as Tai Jee would benefit greatly from courses in engineering, particularly statics and dynamics. Knowing about moment arms and other particulars of these sciences could increase their efficiently by a substantial factor as well as help to keep them from injury. But someone who only practices qigong would get no benefit from these sciences. They may however, get some benefit from studying A&P, as long as they are willing to give it up at some point; the higher level aspects of medical qigong, for example, goes far beyond conventional science and does not follow linear thinking.
