  1. SPRING FOREST HEALING?

Of course you shouldn't worry about it. But you shouldn't be ignorant of it nor naive either. Are you going to just walk into a public place, touch everything and not wash your hands because you believe those bacteria and virus don't exist or won't harm you? Then are you going to go touch others after not washing your hands because you believe it won't harm them? Do you wash your hands? Why, if you believe what you are saying, would you even bother to do so? I hope you don't work in the restaurant industry. You mention you may want to do healing regularly. Do you plan on washing your hands after a session? Why would you do so?
  2. Exactly, this happens quite a lot. People are drawn to receive this type of healing in order to achieve a change of path. But the 2nd part you write, YOU can't see but the person's Higher Level self can. This is where the Listening/Linking comes in on the part of the healer.
  3. SPRING FOREST HEALING?

In the other thread I was referring to a specific technique; I don't see how that applies here as we are talking about what is and what isn't, not technique. You work in a hospital, are you saying there is no such thing as virus or bacteria? You could say it, but it wouldn't change the fact that they exist. Sick qi exists no matter what energy system is utilized. It is how the practitioner approaches it that makes the difference. Have you not walked into a hospital room where someone was sick or dying and there was a palpable sick qi field? To say it exists in some system and not in others is the same as saying virus and bacteria exist in some systems but not in others. They exist; the difference in systems is the approach. Most people who practice a powerful qigong system get to where they can see the sick qi. Again, I have worked on many "energy healers" who did not believe it existed. They were all very sick. I also know many other qigong healers that will say the same thing as they too have worked on many healers who had absorbed sick energy. Xie qi is described in Chinese Medicine and is a part of the Taoist teachings. Sure there are many approaches to healing; most (probably not all) contain validity. Doesn't mean the healer of ANY system doesn't have to face the consequences of projecting energy to someone else.
  4. Example of High Level Healing when to/when not to: Persons Higher Level Self helps them acquire an illness/pain/etc. so they can learn a particular thing/change of path. The question is, Do we have a right to take that away from them? From a High Level Healing perspective the answer is no. If we took it away the person may not correction 99.999% of the time will not pursue the very thing that the Higher Level self wishes to pursue. We ALWAYS work within the Will of the Light and because a person's Higher Level self is of the Light, we wouldn't make a change unless it was to the benefit of the person. Now the question will be asked , How could the healer know? This is what I call Listening leading to Linking. All this said, sometimes it does boil down to a simple injury/pain, we project qi then remove the sick qi then no pain. This is what I do in clinic every day.
  5. SPRING FOREST HEALING?

"I don't see that nonsense either."
  6. It is a good topic but it seems to me more people are interested in semen In my perspective and from a Chinese medicine perspective, there are 3 types or levels of healing. 1) low level - Concerned with the body only 2) mid-level - Concerned with the mind 3) high level - Only one goal; help person achieve his/her destiny This perspective lends itself to the concept that is is NOT OK for a healer to interfere with a person's destiny. Simply throwing energy at a person does not accomplish this. Must admit not a fan of reiki. I have personally worked on far too many really sick reiki "masters" who did not have any concept of sick qi.
  7. No explanation of mine that I can link to as for the most part I have told people I did not know how to do it so they wouldn't be calling me at 2 in the morning with a headache they wanted me to git rid of. In essence, since we do quantum level energy manipulation, there is no difference in doing medical qigong in clinic or distance because there is no such thing as "time" and "distance". You stick to the Stillness-Movement and I will share with you the distance method. I believe you are 165.7 miles away. Nice little afternoon drive.
  8. I don't really like to debate either. Usually it is mental masturbation. I will say, though, that your view is typical and probably more folks would agree with you. But most who have had spiritual experiences like dying or getting hit by lightning, or visions where they have seen the enormity of the Divine infinite would agree with me; in the overall scheme of things we are here in this physical body for such a micro-blink of the eye whereas our energy body is immortal and infinite. It makes much more sense to me to cultivate more from the standpoint of raising the energy body vibrational frequency to effect that part of us that we carry over after this micro-blink is gone. Concentration on the physical, IMO, will never do this as it is limited by the mind-body connection. But the physical is definitely positively effected by the raising of the energy body vibration rate. We will agree to disagree and that is OK!
  9. (If I understand what you are saying correctly) You are making a basic assumption which I respectfully disagree with. Your assumption is that retention is the only way to retain jing. I am saying there is another way which utilizes High Level Qigong in order to supercharge the jing. The only drawback to this method is that it DOES require 2 people, male/female, who are cultivators. I assure you there is plenty of jing, qi and shen with this method. Yes, different methods. But I am referring to a specific method of cultivation, not simply making love but utilizing the ejaculation and energy contained as a catalyst to part the curtain, then pulling the energy, refined by Spirit back in. quote name='sheng zhen' date='Aug 27 2009, 02:45 AM' post='138065'] YaMu, how can you seperate the physical body from our cultivation like that? I am sure you really dont seperate body and consciousness, so I was a little confused with this statement. Can you elaborate on what you mean by saying posture has nothing to do with cultivation? To me it is obvious that with cultivation of energy, attitude, consciousness, etc, we ALSO bring a cultivation of body. Which includes better posture. If our inner cultivation is successful we have to see the result on the physical body aswell. My experience is that the body will mirror our true state at all times. If we have a hunched back, weak core muscles, stiff neck, or whatever, then this is a mirror of some dysfunction also in consciousness and energy. I believe you can work both ways. By working with posture(through Zhan Zhuan, qigong, physical workout, etc), we also cultivate energy. And by working with energy we also cultivate posture. It is very difficult to be happy if your shoulders hang forward. And it is very difficult to be depressed if you spine is strong and erect. It is said by the old Taoists that a person who does physical exercises MUST do internal exercises. But a person that does internal exercise can sometimes forget to do physical exercise. I am not saying to separate the body. Of course the body follows the energy cultivation. Paying attention to posture is a must for proper musculoskeletal function. But in terms of energy cultivation, paying too much attention to the physical will only get a person so far as they usually tend to start overly focusing on the physical INSTEAD of the spiritual. In the form of qigong I teach we are NOT concerned with body alignment but with maximizing the spiritual energetics. Doesn't mean the person practicing shouldn't exercise and pay attention to posture. The most efficient physical exercise that exists is rebounding, which I heartily endorse. In my clinic I am faced with musculoskeletal problems every day. I attempt to show these folks proper posture and exercise. The example I gave in a post above reflects this. I had a person come up to me during a break in a performance at 1 AM and asked how in the world did I have as much energy to move like I did, then say "you must work out a lot" The answer of course is the qigong that I practice. Bottom line, IMO, is that the physical is something we rent for an extremely short period of time while the energy body is eternal. Makes sense to me and I choose to focus more on the energy body. The "as above so below" law applies here, though, so the physical reflects the development or refinement of the energy body.
  10. New Stillness-Movement and Clinical Qigong Workshop in Bloomington/Normal Illinois October 17,18,19. Flyer here Join us for Stillness-Movement, Gift of the Tao, Walking, and Tree Qigong and optional Clinical Qigong Applications on Monday. Past workshop reviews here and here.
  11. My advice is to quit wasting money on books and save up to take a class with a real teacher. But if you want to read about this go to my website here.
  12. Good posture is needed to keep spinal/musculature alignment. Doesn't do anything for cultivation. Cultivation requires energy, INTENT, and Virtue. Of course if you relax more you are more able to stop the world, so whatever works best for you. The retention thing. From my perspective retention does not compare to INTENT or Virtue. In other words, if you truly have real love for the person you are making love with, then the energy exchange can be far more beneficial than retention. And when done like I have taught and is published in my book it is far more powerful than retention. Absolutely no question in my mind AND experience. We are talking about transcending the dimensional barriers by utilizing a powerful catalyst (initiated by the male), energy, INTENT, and true real LOVE. We can PART THE CURTAIN and pull in FAR MORE POWERFUL energies to restore ourselves with. I do not practice retention. I do practice the above method. I am in my late 50's. I sleep usually 3 but sometimes up to 5 hours a night. I project qi all day in clinic with close to 100% result rate, I play in a high energy rock band and move vigorously for the 4 hours we are performing, staying up until 4 in the morning friday and saturday nights. I project qi for 3 days straight in my workshops. AND I DID NOT get to where I could do this by practicing retention. Nor do I exercise or practice martial arts(much). But I do practice High Level qigong. As far as the other part that Vajrasattva said. Only he can explain what it is that he means by his statement. But here is why I agreed with the statement. Hyok, I am in total awe of you. YOU are so awesomely powerful! YOU are an extremely powerful, vibrant, Being of Light. Oh my! How powerful you are! You just have not yet realized it.
  13. What about a hippie with many years of training?
  14. Taoist Medicine and Taoist Healing Arts Simplified case studies, continued Presentation: Shingles with severe head pain; hurts to touch ear, hurts to brush hair, can't sleep due to pain. Therapy: Distance Healing with Taoist Healing Arts Immediately the client reported most pain gone with a slight lingering of mild pain. Within 2 days all pain gone.
  15. Should a Taoist Forum focus primarily on Taoism?

Thanks, There was a time when I would have been keen on looking at this. But for many years now I have enjoyed my own personal explorations into the quantum more than reading someone else's views.
  16. Should a Taoist Forum focus primarily on Taoism?

You truly have a gift of insight into physics and explain these things better than my undergraduate physics and graduate quantum mechanics profs. Have you ever considered that you would make a damn good college physics/graduate level quantum mechanics teacher?
  17. Probably shouldn't post after getting up at 6 AM from getting home at 4 AM after playing high energy Rock N Roll at bars in order to supplement my income, but what the ****. Re: 3rd eye openings. My advice is do not be concerned with this. It will either happen or not. The more one tries to project into what is "supposed to be" the more likely it will be filtered info. Just practice your cultivation, which includes energetics, virtue, and calmness. There are many different talents due to different spiritual lineage. Each lineage has different talents. So what one person "SEES" is not exactly what another will see. One person may "hear" across the realms, another may SEE, another may be aware of simultaneous dimensional activity, etc. ALSO, the filters we establish from the time we are born until NOW definitely colors one's viewpoint. Burning through those filters is not the same thing as "opening of the 3rd eye". Most people I see HAVE NOT burned through those filters. My perspective is that I really tire of this "3rd eye" thing. I have only met one person on this earth who could actually manifest from here. Can't tell you the number of people who come to me telling me their "3rd eye" is opening and want me to help balance them out. It would be downright funny if it was not so sad. A valid cultivation practice that includes virtue and energetics will open all the energy centers. One simply does not need to be concerned with this. But if you really really really want to learn to SEE, practice your cultivation for a few years and try this: Late in the afternoon, sit quietly (or move in Stillness hint Stillness-Movement qigong), stop the world (shut down brain wave activity), put your focus halfway between you and the object you wish to SEE (trees and the leaves of trees are a good place to start), and just BE. Another hint: SEEING is totality of perception. Great post! And you didn't have to worry about the "3rd eye opening" for this to happen. This is true "Dancing in the Wu Wei".
  18. Atlas balancing: This need not be a rough procedure. The Taoist Medicine techniques includes methods for arriving at proper balance and work VERY well. Scot: Your description reminds me of the old chiropractic "hole-in-one" techniques that was raved about for quite a while. Very dangerous and rough to the system. Chiropractors seem love to jump on these things so as to make a quick buck.
  19. Calling ascended beings.

Discernment comes with the practice of Virtue, raising the energy body vibration rate, and Listening. But you are correct that, in the end, we have to assume responsibility and NOT rely on the ascended masters for if we do not assume responsibility how are we going to evolve/recognize our own mastery? Intent alone doesn't do it. It takes Virtue, raising of the energy body vibration rate, and the practice of Listening. Without the practice of Virtue it is extremely difficult if not impossible to raise the energy body vibration rate (purifying the energy body). Same goes for the practice of inner energetic development. And without practicing Listening we cannot develop discernment. Any manifestation requires both energy and INTENT. One can look at it this way: Do you like to go to garbage dumps? Neither do the Higher Level beings of Light. A low level energy body does not attract these beings. But dis-embodied liars as well as created thought forms thrive on this. So no matter what intent a person had... Your council table is your spiritual lineage. Shielding is taught in most competent qigong programs; I have a 500 hr medical qigong certification program. Part of this program involves helping the student to accomplish raising the energy body vibration rate through a lineage process of wei chi liao fa. I talk about personal experiences and explain a lot of this in the book A Light Warrior's Guide to High Level Energy Healing: Medical Qigong & A Shaman's Healing Vision.
  20. Calling ascended beings.

Until people raise their energy body vibration rate and learn how to shield themselves they should stay away from such. Chances are far greater of getting a disembodied liar that will try to convince you they are an "ascended master" or "spirit guide". This is exactly what a lot of the "channelers" are doing. Practice your internal qigong, be a good and moral person (virtue), stay calm, and practice Listening. Then you will not be concerned with this. It happens automatically. Better info for YOU comes from those that sit on YOUR council table.
  21. What is the Dao? Lightness Skill

The Lightness Technique is a part of the qigong running technique that I can teach. Four parts: 1) Stamina 2) Swiftness 3) Qi Pushing up a Hill and 4) Lightness. It is an energy technique and not a physical or martial technique and requires one to have a developed Dan Tian before attempting to learn. Not gonna post how to do this here. Besides - not any real need to learn this - takes too long to learn as well. Qigong running is an advanced aspect of the Stillness-Movement form. Remember the Energy Vortex I created at the workshop? I used this technique just a wee bit there.
  22. This sounds like a true Labor of Love; I know it must have taken many hours to set this up. Cheers!
