Taoists Sexual Ability start to be recognised in social circles

nothing wrong with fun! -
I was talking about qigong therapy, wei qi liao fa, which, in my system, has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with archetypes. You see it in your self-practice system, fine. It is not within my self-practice system either. In fact IMO it has nothing to do with real Taoism, which, if you examine on a deeper level should transcend anything to do with mind or mind constructs. The archetypes which order our perceptions and ideas are by very definition products of the mind and have nothing to do with the higher-level aspect of creation. This gets back to experienced, as in personally experienced connection to the Tao versus scholarly concepts of the Tao, which is not the real Tao. These constructs have REAL POWER only if you mentally allow it to be so. Why wouldn't we wish to rise above the level of these constructs? One could say the same thing about genetics, which on a purely physical level is true, as in genetic pre-disposition. But if we learn we are actually creators and can manipulate the fabric of the universe, we don't have to totally limit ourselves to any pre-disposition simply because we mentally tell ourselves that the genetic pre-disposition is set in stone. So, IMO, if we study and align ourselves with the concept of archetypes we have automatically limited ourselves to these concepts versus total freedom. I do understand that many if not most believe in the archetype. I don't. I do believe in the fact of spiritual lineage and talents which actually transcend the concept of archetype. But I am not in denial; this simply is not within my realm of energetics.

Taoists Sexual Ability start to be recognised in social circles

The "birth control method" of retention is not the only Taoist sexual method. There exists another method that uses the orgasm AND ejaculation as a catalyst. The energy lost by the male is re-gained in multitude when the alchemical reaction takes place. Disadvantage is that it requires male and female BOTH to be practiced internal energy cultivators. I must ask, what is the overall goal here? It seems that many who post on this seem to be losing the perspective of transformation. Simple bliss is not transformation. Fun, yes, transformation, no. Too many want this so they can brag about sexual prowess. Too many get hurt and develop physical problems because they read about this in a book and decide to practice from the book or from information posted on the internet. -
Enough merit to consider an education in it? Is there enough merit in western medicine for you to consider an education in it? Is there enough merit in chiropractic for you to consider an education in it? The truth is somewhere in between. All these forms have merit; none of these forms will address everything. What do YOU feel attracted to? THAT is what I would suggest you follow! To other poster about archetype in qigong therapy. Nope. To guy who asks someone to project qi to him so he can decide if it is worth investigating. Huh? This would make you decide it was worth investigating?

The wild thing is that I think there were 4 people there who actually knew what this means. -
Review Stillness Movement Worshop June 20 and 21, 2009

It was really great having all of you in the workshop. Thanks for taking the time and effort to attend. You all will do well with this system. The only comments I am disappointed in are Creation's. He said "nailed" the Zeppelin tune when I hoped to hear "was better than the original". -
IMO, Dancing in the Wu Wei requires raising the energy body vibrational rate through internal qigong practices, the practice of Virtue, and Listening. When all of these are combined then the synchronicity in one's life will be truly amazing.

This company has been shipping their resveratrol product for a long time and I have come to associate the company with very high quality products. I have been personally using their products for many years and this is what I keep in my clinic. http://www.integrativeinc.com/Products/Cat...75&cid=2398

Can you explain more about what type of energy projection he learned that took 9 years with this system and how it differs from qi projection?

Why is science having such a hard time finding chi?
Ya Mu replied to 11:33's topic in General Discussion
I was somewhat jesting with my response. Thanks for taking the time to give a thoughtful reply. I do think scientific development has met a some type of energetic roadblock and I gave the internal combustion engine as an example. We in the USA are kept in the dark about 60 MPG vehicles, but even then, why don't we yet have something else? During the time it took a computer to go from as big as a house to as small as your thumbnail the internal combustion engine still rules very inefficiently. The computer system errrors are mostly operating system but not all failures or intermittent sporatic behavior is due to the OS. I have a system in front of me that I built last week. The first 30 times it booted with no problem, now it boots sometimes and other times it will not (doesn't get to operating system of which I have Ubuntu). Probably a gate latching somewhere in the motherboard. But such is the way of things. Exactly - Just like Qi projection! But the drugs are accepted more in the general population. I do disagree that measurements taken in a room full of people is not valid. The measurements we took were over the period of a full day. Every single time I projected qi the standing waves showed a definite correlation with the qi projection. So this was many different times of correlation throughout the day. And these correlations were observed by a scientist and a MD. But I would agree that this particular experiment was not really scientific and I don't try to make a big deal of it, after all, what the heck did it mean, other than Qi has components that we don't freakin understand. But I think it could have been made scientific with controls set up. I have stated many times that, if someone else provides the funds and equipment, I would be glad to participate in any scientific investigations. I have been doing Qi projection for close to 30 years and I am quick to say that this is an art and science of which we know just a small amount. I have to go as I have a class to teach today in Qi projection for healing others. These students (chiropractors, nurses, MD's, massage therapists and others) will leave knowing powerful methods of energy manipulation that work for their clients/patients with an extremely high result rate. Even if we can't totally measure it! -

You have an interesting point of view. To the best of my knowledge it is very true when you say that qi itself has never been measured. But in fact many components have. But again, these are just components. It is my belief that scientific instrumentation has not been developed yet with the full-spectrum sensitivity to actually measure qi. But I think that at some point it will. I do question your unwavering faith in the scientific method. Surely you are aware of all the drugs that have passed the scientific tests of safety to only find out that they hurt people. There are probably many examples but I don't really care about researching them for anyone. Those involved in the applications of science have brought us from computers as big as a room to one smaller than your hand, but do they actually work? Well, sometimes but most computers seem to not work 100% of the time. If you think otherwise try building a few pc's and installing windoze on them On different days, depending on solar flares or full moons they seem to have a life of their own. And in 75 years you science application guys have not done a thing to really change the infernal combustion engine. Why is that? Why do we still have cars that only get 20 mpg max? Or for that matter, why do mass production cars only utilize gas and not other forms of energy? I choose to blame science as it really hasn't progressed in a measurable manner. So science can't be measured either. Bottom line, you can apply this "it hasn't been scientifically confirmed yet" to the measurement of qi, and I would have to agree with you to a certain extent. But you can't really convince me that western medicine has been scientifically confirmed either what with all the drug recalls and western medicine failures. Yet if I am sick I will probably try western medicine if medical qigong or herbal medicine fails. But I for one will certainly try the untested (whoops, that's wrong, it has been tested for a lot longer than western medicine) and unmeasured medical qigong or herbal medicine first. Try really looking and I think you will find plenty of studies that have measured components of qi. I have seen measured magnetic standing waves from qi projection. I have seen the measured brain wave changes induced by qi projection. But one is only a component and the other is only a result of. -
This is a kinda a loaded question, but I'll try to answer. I have met many men of Power. Less men of Power and Knowledge, and just a very few of Power, Knowledge, and Wisdom. Those that reach this last category are few and are not concerned with phenomena. Advancement is in helping others and dancing in the wu wei so that they always do the right thing at any given moment. Sure there is a Lightness technique. Just like in the movies. I could teach it to just about anyone. But why would anyone want to spend the rest of their life perfecting that so they could jump over a house? I guess anyone who wishes to be buried with a tombstone that says "He could jump over a house" would consider that important. Sure one can develop Power. But then one has to decide what to do with it. Sure things like you describe are possible, we do many of those type of things in medical qigong everyday for helping others. But here is where the Wisdom comes in. Everything is a choice. If we learn to dance in the wu wei and always move in harmony with Tao, practice virtue and compassion and help others, act with sobriety, and live our lives doing the best we can, we have made the choice of Wisdom. These are the common denominators in advancement. Learning to dance in the wu wei does require cultivation of the energy body and virtue. We also must align ourselves with the Divine.

From my point of view I would still be concerned about what you are describing; you should not encounter negative entities - this is bad. I think you are keying in on why when you state if you put your mental concentration on an area then you will feel the heat but if you go into what you describe as "emptiness" you feel the cold. If you wish, try this: Instead of putting mental concentration on any area try separating 1st and 2nd attention when one attention puts spiritual awareness on the lower Dan Tian and manifests a purple bubble around you; the other attention goes into emptiness. This way your qi and energy body will keep you warm and you will be protected but will still get the benefit of your technique. Only trying to help.

Ah, very good. I feel that inspiration is that moment in which we are fully in harmony with Tao, when we are fully linked with the divine within. I was talking with someone last night, but earlier I had been concerned with how to arrange a presentation and what material to include. Even though that is not what we were discussing, I all of a sudden felt the inspiration and knew immediately what to include. So I concluded the person I was talking with reflects the divine, causing an "inspiration". I & I & I reflect the Divine in each other.

Chunnyi Lynn refers to chi as magnetic field... Qi has electromagnetic components but other components as well. Infrasonic, etc. For studies, see Qigong Institute database for huge database of abstracts. I have seen EMF standing waves set up by qi projection (or rather seen the measurements of the standing waves.) What was interesting was that it took a period of time for each standing wave to dampen out, even when the qi manipulation was ceased. I believe at some point science will catch up with more sensitive measuring equipment so that we can see the huge spectrum of qi.

You may wish to check the database at the Qigong Institute for qigong effectiveness and studies. Large number of studies. Medical qigong is not placebo, it works on humans and animals as well.

CRT's way worse than LCD's. I did away with all my CRT's.

Stillness-Movement is its own thing and not really in the classification Ken was referring to. No possession by spirits. In fact, it has one of the stronger methods of protection from this.

Bingo! Raising the energy body vibrational rate is what it is all about.

Internal Energy Generation (QiGong, Taoist Yoga) vs. External Energy Generation
Ya Mu replied to DaoChild's topic in General Discussion
Bingo - I think you know more than you are letting on... This thread -
Dudes and dudettes who hang out and drink good beer (not that cheap stuff). Or perhaps they are Beings of Light who are trying their best to help and most people don't want to listen.
-
You are describing serious problems and need to find a teacher that can help you. I agree with what Mike and Ken said. Reading a book and a weekend seminar won't get a person very far. I suggest that you should also think about if your strict dislike of Mike is caused by external influences and not your own heart or anything said. ANY exercise may look and appear to be like any other. But the ATTACHED ENERGETICS make all the difference in the world. Many times what you see is NOT what you get, energetically speaking. I'll admit I only scanned this thread so if I am missing something here please believe that I am not judging or attacking you but only trying to help.

Internal Energy Generation (QiGong, Taoist Yoga) vs. External Energy Generation
Ya Mu replied to DaoChild's topic in General Discussion
Here is where we differ in opinion. I think there is no possible way (reading it from a book? Someone telling you something?) to actually gain that understanding without experiencing the thing. Chinese medicine is a good example. Read several books on TCM. Does anyone understand what qi actually is from reading them? No way! One has to experience the qi. Does anyone actually understand how to manipulate the qi from reading those books? No way! How can they manipulate something that they have never experienced? I do agree someone should research something before jumping into it. But that doesn't actually mean they know what they really are getting into. -
Scott, I am giving examples of WHAT NOT to do, not what to do. And I can definitely tell when "power hungry" or phenomena seekers attend my workshops. They, too need to learn and will get out of the workshop what they put in. What I teach is based on compassion; the energies projected to anyone attending will reflect that. Yeah, it is powerful. But without the compassion the power is meaningless. So no one attending seeking power for itself will get much out of it, unless they are willing to listen to their own higher level self. If they do then they will give up the "power for power's sake", and become in harmony with Tao through the wu wei process. Through this process and growth comes compassion with power to help others. Absolutely. Yes, energy practices done correctly will awaken the sacred gifts. Perhaps you didn't see it as enlightenment but I bet the bird did! Yes, energy practices done correctly will awaken the sacred gifts, intuition is a big part of that.
