  1. Do you think the makers of tamiflu aren't grinning from ear to ear? I have never tried Mak Tin Si's Fu, but I can tell you with certainty that Fu works and sometimes far far better than western medicine. I know; I use it in my clinic every day. The results are totally amazing. As far as the costs, do you realize what it takes to do this? Time & effort. Shouldn't everyone have the right to charge for their time & effort? I have no problem with Mak Tin Si charging for Fu. I do still want Mak to answer the questions I posted. I do agree with you that we should take all precautions - common sense goes a long ways.
  2. Mal Tin Si, Gotta ask, since the current flu scare is not simply swine but also includes avian/human components what will happen? Will the swine component be warded off while the avian/human component isn't OR is this Fu good for ANY flu? If that is so, is it good for ANY virus?
  3. Magnetic Qi Kung

I use north pole - negative polarity toward the body. There is a mild effect, not as useful as qigong but useful. I wouldn't bother trying to use them for qigong practice - will be an unneeded distraction.
  4. 2012 Big Changes

My suggestion is to practice qigong, calmness, and be a good & moral person. Put particular emphasis on the higher vibration levels. The higher level energy and calmness will pay big dividends to those that practice. Be concerned about NOW as there never will be a tomorrow, only now. The radiated calmness will play a big role in the upcoming events of our lives. Yes there are changes and energy shifts happening. All one has to do is tune into the energetics to see this for themselves. But if one practices the above then they will have done what is needed. The problem with visions and predictions is the "time line", which is not real. Gee, hope I can get my next book out by 2012. I do talk about these things and what is happening.
  5. Right then...

Do you practice qigong? Medical Qigong has many healing methods. These were developed over a long period of time and utilized in hospitals and clinics. I would caution against doing healings without proper training. With proper training the physical problems are easy to change. If a person does healing without knowing how to protect themselves sick qi will accumulate in their body and eventually bring them down. NOT good advice to tell others to just start healing, no training required. I have met many people who screwed themselves up this way. Can't tell you the number of reiki people who have come in sick sick sick because they didn't believe in sick qi kickback. If you are having results because you are a natural healer that is good. The world needs healers! But please know what you are doing. Strongly suggest you start practicing qigong if you are not doing so.
  6. Been asked if I would give a discount for "loony kunloonies". No, I charge twice the regular amount in these cases. All kidding aside this IS a very powerful form of qigong that does include protection methods. Will be glad to try to help anyone. A reminder that regular registration ends at the end of next week. If you wish to attend let me know now.
  7. Right then...

One can't. Even in "real time" and not "net" time one can't prove it. I have a client whose blood CA levels dropped from 96% to .3% over a period of 7 months. But it proves nothing. . This particular client had/has/will have/was cured/was healed/will get a very aggressive form of lung/liver/colon cancer. But they are feeling great NOW. The thing is, even though they think I helped them, I have NO WAY of knowing if the once-a-month sessions made any difference whatsoever, other than the client says they feel better - actually says they feel like they could run a marathon after a session. But it proves nothing. Maybe God healed them, Maybe their mind healed them, maybe they buried an egg under the full moon and that is what worked. Doesn't matter.
  8. mo pai n kunlun

Agree with Santi - Energy comes in ALL directions. Never think outward or inward but multi-dimensionally. There is a matter of Vibrational frequencies. A very wise Teacher once told me, as I was pursuing several different paths because I wanted to "know", that "It is better to walk a long ways down a single path than a short ways down many paths."
  9. Enlightenment, in depth

BEE EYE EN GEE OH There are always Higher Levels.
  10. Taming the Mind

What I mean is non-indulgence. What we all typically do is indulge and the mind runs with it. An example, the thought runs through your mind of "ice cream". Non-indulgence is to recognize this thought for what it is and let go of it. Indulgence would be to say to yourself, "Hmm, I like chocolate ice cream. I believe I may go to the store tomorrow and get some. On further thought, I think I will go now to a drive in and get a cone, or maybe..." The indulgence leads to further non-sense, because, no matter how you plan chances are it will happen in a different manner. So, recognize a thought as a thought and don't latch onto it.
  11. Help me removing a ghost

My point was if someone stumbles on this thread and starts trying things from ideas here it could be like a child playing with matches in a distillery. And probably for good reason, eh? 50% will respond to love and kindness, 30% to Power, love and kindness, 15% to Power, lineage Power, love and kindness, and 5% will eat you unless you have REALLY developed Power, Virtue, lineage Power, AND linked with your Higher Level Self through the process of Listening. Bottom line: Don't mess with something unless you know what you are doing. It requires Power, Virtue, AND Lineage Power backup. If you don't know how to part the curtain the only thing you would be doing is temporarily displacing them. Unlike Mak Tin SI , I don't do this for a living, but I would suggest calling someone who does. My next book starts out with me getting into trouble with this very thing because I stubbornly didn't listen to my teachers. You can go through many years of dealing with the bottom 95% and it is almost like snapping your fingers it is so easy. But if you run into the upper 5% YOU BETTER KNOW.
  12. Taming the Mind

Stop indulging in your thoughts. Stopping the World comes later.
  13. How do you prepare your tea?

I like PU-ERH tea, have some green now, had some black that Ken Cohen gave me that lasted 3 years - AWESOME. I do simple method of putting leaves in cup and add hot water, good for several water replacements.
  14. Help me removing a ghost

Having avoided this thread I finally read through. Let's see some highlights, Basically I have nothing to say as to the above quotes. But the very fact of so many different opinions shows to me that, if anyone is reading this thread as a "how to" thread, they are screwing up big time. Only advice I could give would be for anyone that thinks but doesn't know, then don't.
  15. When Best to Practice Chikung?

Dr Pepper qigong: 10, 2, 4 24 hrs a day is the best time to practice qigong. Choose and grab whatever time you can.
  16. Self-healing vs. receiving healing

One not well understood as well as not well known aspect of Chinese Medicine is the type of practitioner. There are three types of practitioners. 1) low level These practitioners are concerned with the body and its diseases. 2) mid level These practitioners are more concerned with the mind and treatment of mental as well as and physical diseases. 3) high level The high level practitioner has one one concern, to help the patient find and full their destiny. I practice the 3rd form. So, the typical client comes in with pains of various types and I do a session which lasts about an hour. But there is another thing in Chinese medicine called going for the gold. It basically means that if you are attempting to make a living from the practice, and wish clients to give you a good recommendation, you had better address their concerns. So 50 minutes of my session is done for high level and then I spend 3-10 minutes taking away their pain that the side effects of the high level healing did not address. I believe everyone should practice self-healing. I have tried several times to go to a "practice self-healing if you really want these therapies to optimally work for you" type of practice. I got thin during those times. Besides, if you practice high level healing you never interfere with anything if it is not within the clients interest spiritually, mentally, and physically.
  17. Spontaneous Qigong; A Report.

I would really like to address this deeper but no time right now, so let me just re-post what I said above with a couple of additions and clarifications. And as far as health goes, I have never seen this form NOT effect health in a positive manner. I project qi (I guess one could call it a "transmission" if they just wanted to) everyday to people in clinic. It helps tremendously. Besides the obvious agenda in the OP, all of this is simply fear speaking. To say that all spontaneous qigong is bad or can cause this or that sounds more like a superstition type of saying. I have certainly heard quite a bit of those from sayings from many who call themselves teachers. ALL teachers ANYONE has ever met, if said teachers vibrational level was above any other particular person, gave that person a "transmission". This is called the magnetic induction effect. Can't really be totally tuned off. I agree that anyone should well research whoever they study with or allow to project qi to them. I don't let just anyone project to me either. But the statement to cast suspicion on ALL forms of spontaneous qigong is an uninformed statement.
  18. Kunlun follow up poll

Good post! Yoda - Are things settling down now that you have started with Mak Tin Si?
  19. Kunlun follow up poll

I am not defending the Kunlun or Max - Don't know either one. But to put all spontaneous forms in the same category is nonsense. I don't really call what I teach "spontaneous qigong". Some people have called it that. It is a system where people move (never seen much "spastic") called Stillness-Movement and it is NOT caused by spirit possession but by direct high-vibrational energies. We have a sitting form and a a standing form. But the energies DO move the practitioner. It appears that you and the OP are trying to lump everything together. Furthermore, out of more than 2,000 students I have not seen a single case of spirit possession happening after the practitioner learned this system. To the contrary, it PROTECTS against such a thing. All systems are not created equal. Did the teachers involved put evil things into the students? Of course it is possible. More likely it just opened them up before they were ready to deal with such things. But in either case it is not really difficult to deal with IF the effected student finds a real teacher to help them. This post by Yoda puts a perspective on things: edit: added this reflection from freeform: YES!
  20. Spontaneous Qigong; A Report.

I posted in the other thread that had this posted, here it is: And this post by Yoda tells the truth: edit: I responded to another post in the kunlun thread that applies:

I know you asked freeform for his opinion but here is mine: You are correct!

Thoughts on Power. Ah, Power. That slippery thing that most think they want. Pretty easy to start acquiring, less easy as you start to get more powerful, after some years of pursuit a person starts to ask why, then it dawns on them that it means nothing without true Knowledge, so the person pursues that only to find at some point that Knowledge and Power are not worth a damn without Wisdom. So the person pursues that to only find that true Wisdom is the hardest thing they ever pursued. They find that one can only engage in the active path, and stay on that path with true sobriety. Yes, Responsibility comes with Wisdom. Yes, Compassion comes with Wisdom. After some time a person finds that the only true way to do the right thing at any given NOW is to make the utmost attempt to do the right thing at all NOWS. This path absolutely requires one to be a good & moral person. It also requires true calmness. At some point a person finds that Power should only be utilized when needed. And to know when this power is needed one has to practice LISTENING, which requires all of the above.
  24. Music and Tao

Especially if one or more of the group is a qigong practitioner. Music and Tao is a really good subject. I have been a musician for over 35 years. Here is a funny/not so funny story about qigong and music. Somewhere around 1980 I had reached a level of power with my qigong. But what I didn't at the time realize was my control of qi was... Let's just say my control sucked, as I didn't have a full grasp of amplitude limiting. So, with the music... We had a high-energy rock band and were pretty darned good, but not that good. What happened was we started noticing the audience response was not proportional to our "greatness" as musicians. Somewhat puzzling but hey we took all the respect we could get . But it started to get out of hand. After causing havoc with a few gigs we did one with about 700 folks. As we played and started getting into it, the audience started to creep forward, pressing closer, closer, getting more wild with each song we played. Finally they rushed the stage toppling the PA system - we quickly grabbed our guitars and escaped out the back. Returned later, everything was toppled but remarkably nothing too much damaged. I finally got the courage to ask my teacher about this. He laughed at me for a good 20 minutes and said "Now I will teach you to control your chi."
