Thanks for all the great advice. I have decided to take the rest of Feb off from all practice and take it easy. Then figure out what is going to be balanced for me to do next month. Cameron

In a weekend retreat I did last summer there was a guy there who claimed to be a "walk in" from Pleades. What he said was that his planet was blown up by a race from Orion. His take was that there are 4 polarities in this universe: positive male, positive female, negative male, negative female. He said his people in Pleades were negative female. Meaning that they thought the feminine was superior to the masculine. He said this attracted the Orions who are negative male. They think the male is superior to the female. I guess this can be broken down to the different sides of the brain. Left brain logic, right brain emotions. I don't know that he was implying the physical female was better(or male for the Orions) more like there attitude or something. So anyway, he said they blew his planet up and he came here and did a walk in He also said we are supposed to be heading into a new age which is positive female but he was sort of cynical about that. I think he said "We haven't seen it yet". It's completely possible he is crazy or did too many drugs btw, but interesting nonetheless.

Nice! And Sean look forward to reading your book. Cam -
Hehe, yeah I don't know. There seems to be two camps. Aliens are involved in all sorts of stuff camp. There are good and bad aliens. The good ones supposedly want to help us and the bad ones want to eat us or take us over. Then the scientist/sceptic who doesn't believe until he sees something walk up and say hello to him. I would say I fall more into this camp but just common sense tells me it makes sense for there to be intelligent life elsewhere(or here) in the universe. The people who claim to have had direct experience(such as the man in the videos vortex posted) seem sincere. So you have a situation where you are either dealing with people who are sincere, are crazy or did too many drugs, or are lying. I don't really care which it is. To me, the Tao or enlightenment would be reacting the same to either scenario and not getting freaked out, angry, upset or whatever. It's all basically a big movie anyway, whether it involves outer space beings or not

Hehe. The ET thing is interesting to say the least. I was in the same boat as you and mostly thought that was BS, but now definetly consider the reality that there most likely are advanced races of ET's in the universe. Which really just makes sense. Trillions or billions of stars and little planet Earth orbiting the sun the only home of intelligent life forms seems like a rather huge waste of space. But if you want to think it's bs that's cool too.

Interestingly enough I wasn't particuarly interested myself but just part of the package of going deep with the Maxter. And, incedently, I don't feel I have gone too deep yet. BTW..I won't talk about this sort of stuff on a public forum anymore but I spoke with a certain Taoist Master we both know and his take is the situation isn't as black and white as Alex makes out. Sort of how not all human beings are "good" or "bad", you know? Cam
-
Uh oh..you stumbled onto Alex I have been told I shouldn't talk about it. But I found out about this a few weeks after the LA Kunlun workshop. There is alot to this that should really be reserved for private discussion on the future Kunlun board. But since you have done a bunch of workshops if your inclined to ask Mantra about it privately and he is inclined to tell you go ahead. Damn rabbit hole.

Thanks for clarifying Sean. So Liping is being established more as a figurehead for Taoist practice in China, is this correct? I am just starting to make sense of all these different Taoist lineages. For example, Max's main lineage is really an underground one and not really taught publically until now. Master Tseng in Colorado is a Wudang priest and teaches publically but only teaches the high level alchemy stuff to students after getting to know them. He mostly just teaches healing and tai chi publically. Regardless, that's an amazing achievment that you got to personally meet Wang Liping. I obviously don't know anything about official Chinese offices but guessing he is an authentic Master and not a fake as apparently some do? -

Doh, according to this article the Mao Shan Shang Ch'ing School of Taoism(one of Max's schools) is exctinct now in China. I guess that makes sense then for the Grand Master to have been in Hawaii. Accoring to this article, the Mao Shan were the most mystical of all the Taoist sects. Also, they apparently liked to party http://arahat.chaosmagic.com/hemp_worship_in_the_m.htm -

I don't have anything bad to say about David Shen or any of his teachers as I just don't know. I met Sean Denty and he seemed like a sincere student. I am looking forward to hearing Joeblasts and any other TB's feedback from the training. Regarding anyone being the head of all Taoist sects. From what Max told us in Scottsdale the Mao Shan clan definetly does not follow other sects outside of Mao Shan. The order Max is a master in appears to be a high level order of Taoist Wizards. From what I understand Max was about to get the full traditional transmission from his Mao Shan Master before something went bad with Max's teacher. Which I won't go into here. In any case, maybe Sean could change his statement to many Taoist teachers respect and listen to Master Wang Liping rather than him being responsibe for overseeing all Taoist temples in China. It's within the realm of possibility I am wrong, but from what I was told doesn't sound that Mao Shan would have the Master of another sect(Wang Liping being Dragon Gate) overseeing there temples. After my first Kunlun workshop I was upstairs alone at Trunks house in LA(he was at the Kunlun party) and I was using his computer and a rat outside of Trunks door was literally boucing up and down. I had never seen anything like it. This rat was just freaking out boucing into the glass bottom part of the door. Was really cool. A similar thing happened to Yoda's Dad's dog after we spent some time with them after the first Phoenix Kunlun workshop. This little dog was just bouncing up off the ground. I don't know if it had anything to do with the Kunlun workshop but the only times I have seen a rat and a dog literally bounce around me just happened to be after a workshop. Also, Max I beleive is a Rat. So it's his year I suppose.

He was a good guy. The last thing I remember Plato or someone was harassing him about doing alchemy with squirrels or something. Kieth is in his mid 40's, but could easily pass for mid 30's

LOL. No not at all. My cousin still lives in Greenpoint but he doesn't want to do the workshop I think. I mean, if there was any problem I could stay with him and meet you at the train or something. But I think if I go will be a quick trip, come in the friday and leave sunday afternoon. Has Chris mentioned where in NJ the workshop will be yet?

Relaxing in my new room. Mom bought a 1080p TV which is cool but the computer still has dial up connection. I told her I will need to get this baby hooked up to high speed internet asap. Will do my first Atlanta Kunlun practice in a few minutes. Am going to see my 1 year old niece who I haven't met yet tomorrow. Cam

I just watched a lady take down her pants and piss in front of my apartment and then casually walk past me as if nothing happened. I'll take that as a good sign that I am leaving Phoenix I guess. LOL.

Cool. Here is the BJJ school, http://www.alliancebjj.com/, and this is the first Aikido dojo I practiced at. A really good teacher, he actually also did Tai Chi for 10 years and lived in China I believe, http://www.dogwoodaikikai.com/ Also, there is the school affiliated with Master Chen(Wudang) http://www.risingphoenixtaichi.com/id11.html

I am going to need to get situated and my life in order in ATL so probably Apr will be too soon for me. But I'll see where everything is at in a month, might be possible. Interestingly, my Mom lives a few minutes down the street from a 6th degree black belt BJJ Master. But I haven't decided if I want to do BJJ or Aikido yet. LOL. I definetly would like to do another Max workshop some time this year though. Did you guys say maybe a week long Taobums retreat with Max was a possibilty? Cam
-
Hehe..yeah I am actually selling my computer to a friend since my Mom has a computer and internet and can use that for the time being. I am just waiting now, flight leaves in the morning. Cam

Cool. I'll be in Atlanta tomorrow. A pyramid house..man that's intense!

It's almost like a super extreme version of Aikido. Where people go down even before they are touched. In Aikido, you offer little or no resistence to your opponent. Some people might think this is a better way to train but alot of martial artistis just think it's bs and doesn't let you train under resistence. As much as I like aikido at some point I tend to agree, if you want to train martial arts you need a resisiting partner atleast once in awhile to see if your techniqe actually works. I mean, it might work on his students but do you think if any of these guys got attacked on the street there attacker would fall down from them raising there hand in the air? I doubt it. I do however, think there is something to this from studying Kunlun and meeting Max and his students. But the way they use it is more for healing and sending out bliss energy. Like Max will somehow magnetically tie his students to the earth or a tree or fence or whatever. No idea how it works and I wouldn't try it in a self defense situation but his students seem to be experiencing something very real.

Does physical exercises cultivate chi?
Cameron replied to Wun Yuen Gong's topic in General Discussion
Cool. I think alot of your posts have been funny at times actually. Seriously, I thought you were joking most of the time and not being serious at all. Even when I said anything back to you I was half joking. I am all for free speech, freedom of expression etc. So, I hope you get your questions answered for you in time. You say you know things about Max I guess its up to you to share it or not. No big deal. -

Sounds good. I am not sure about what you mean about not hitting it off. I don't know you. I don't know anything about your practices. My negative reactions where from repeated dissing of my teacher and my practice. I have no idea who you are as a person. If your peacful as you say then let's both be peacful and demonstrate a level of peace and respect here. Thanks, Cameron ps- I realize what you view as critical thinking and what I view as disrespect might be the same. So, just to clarify farther so we never have to talk about this again. I have no problem at all with you questioning Max or Kunlun or whatever, it's more the overall tone involved. I don't think I need to explain what I am talking about. There is a way to question things that is thoughtful and aimed at gaining better understanding and a way of questioning things that is insensitive to others and rude. You know the difference.
