hehe...jeez..sorry...OK,ok..if I have something really cool to say I'll write a post or something.

I eat alot of mexican food and would actually consider myself a master of this sort of practice. Is it mentioned in the Lei Shan Dao?

Can anyone recommend good Tai Chi DVDs?

Is Colorado Springs near Boulder? If so I would check out Ken Cohen. He is a qigong master who lives in Colorado. -
hehe..."ego thing"...

I was writing you a really ellaborate response and then I accidently escaped the site losing the post. So I'll just remain silent on this issue for a good while.

Sean D you suck! *kidding*
-
Just hang here for awhile with a beginner mind. Your bound to learn a thing or two.
-
All right bowling but after that I am out of ideas .Or just settle it from the comfort of your own homes with some X Box live or something...
-
Raquetball then!

I still say tennis is the answer. Remember, the civilized game of tennis allows for the wonderful doubles matchup. Smile and Sean D on one side and The Learner and sharpnose on the other. Everyone does their respective meditaitons beforehand to make sure those with the truest qi wins. 4 men enter...2 men leave winners...

You two obviously have some strong issues you need to work out. I think enough has been said and it's only right you both settle your personal problems on the court like men. That's right...enough talk...you need to step up and settle this the way our anscestors of old did. One on one..mano a mano..a match of tennis. Or more online psychotherapy if you can't meet up. Tennis fan Cam. All healed up and ready to step back on the tennis court shortly.

I decided Ime not going to comment on what any teacher, or student for that matter, says about spirituality or awakening until after I have really awakened myself. But am happy to read everyones feedback and personal spiritual journies.

Ok, some Aikido, Christian Tissier Sensei
-
Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to meet somone who really has that level. If you beleive what BK Frantzis says, O'Sensei had it..but none of his students had it..so he went to China to find people like O'Sensei. And he says he met people like that Master Liu. Now, my Aikido teacher and Shing Yi teacher are both very powerful and if you attack them your going down but there isn't any of this shooting qi from across the room stuff. But if I ever meet anyone like that I'll be sure to write a post about it on Taobums
-
I don't buy the ki master demos. I have trained with some of the best Aikido people in the world and none of them do any of that nonsense. Even O'Sensei didn't just rely on shooting imaginary qi shots from across the room. Ime not saying that sort of thing doesn't develop at a very, very high level but I havent seen it yet. The Fajin that I have seen is basically easily described scientifically. Just the natural force of a totally integrated, rooted body. Deep connection from the earth, through the center and out the arms. I think even Wang Zhiang Zhai preferred to explain internal power scientifically over in qi terms didn't he?

I have been getting questions about this in different threads so rather than keep bringing it up will just post it here. Sean and I are going to be in NY in July. I will be there July 19-30. A good portion of that time, I think July 22-27, we will be doing an Adyashanti retreat. So basically, I will be hanging out in NY a few days before and after the retreat. Ime not sure how many days Sean is planning on staying as apparently he wasn't even aware what month the retreat is as he is basically an alcoholic. *kidding* I'll most likely get together with Mad Max and his bodyguard Plato at some point and know there are lots of new Tao Bum friends from NYC now. So if you want to get together with Sean about everyone meeting in China Town or something for a Tao Bums gathering by all means do so. Cam

Great idea. PM your phone # sometime before July so we can get in touch.

Hehe..well..I trained with Juba. He is a very martial Aikido pracitioner but "reputation as an arm breaker", can't really comment to that. I never saw anyones arm get broken while I was there but if you are uncomfortable by all means go with someone else. Sifu Montalbano would probably be cool. Go with your intuition I guess. I studied briefly at NY Aikikai..too physical? Not sure how to comment to that. It's a martial art Good luck in any case.
-
If I was in NY I would study with both Juba Nour Shihan Aikido and Kenny Gong lineage disciple James Montalbano for Shing Yi.

Nope, in July. Make sure you get your ticket for the right month!

Happy birthday my Tao brother.

Will put another one up soon, probably today.
