  6. Colloidal Gold (studies show 20% boost in IQ)

Do you take this in conjunction with anything other supplements? Just curious if anything aids or depletes absorption, similar to Iron. Iron and Calcium taken together essentially cancel each other out but Vitamin C aids in Iron absorption. Have you experienced effects other than cognitive?

  8. Masters & Sites In Beijing?

Hi, I am off to Beijing as well in 9 days Posted this a couple of weeks ago; I would like to practice while I am there http://www.thetaobums.com/Taoist-Tai-Chi-i...jing-t3330.html Any suggestions? Would love to get to the Wu Dang Mountains but my time is limited to two weeks. Not sure how flexible you are with time or travel but that seems like it would be an ideal spot to meet or observe some Masters. One historical site I plan to visit in Xian is the Terracotta Warriors. It is a little over 12 hours one way but an overnight trip, it will be a nice adventure, a good way to see more of the country side, will spend the day in Xian then head back to Beijing in the evening. http://www.seat61.com/China.htm#Beijing%20-%20Xian I am considering packing my kite and flying it in Tiananmen Square, does anyone know if that would be frowned upon? Thanks!
  9. BCT's Post of the Nanosecond

Perfect sense, I couldn't agree more... Well said! So many doctrines preach denial of one's true self to achieve some future promise of reward and happiness. To love, to embrace the simple pleasures of life, how can that be wrong? Will enlightenment open our eyes to what we missed on the way there?
  10. Everyone post some favorite quotes!

Love conquers all things; let us too surrender to Love. ~ Virgil The man/woman who has begun to live more seriously within begins to live more simply without. ~ Ernest Hemingway Life must be understood backward. But it must be lived forward. ~ Soren Kierkegaard The best and safest thing is to keep a balance in your life, acknowledge the great powers around us and in us. If you can do that, and live that way, you are really a wise man/woman. ~ Euripides

  12. Why am I here?

Hello All! Why am I here? I am joining The Tao Bums in search of ideas and discussions that stimulate and inform; looking outward to grow inward. The answer to that question in the deeper sense is still in the works for me. To read is to empower To empower is to write To write is to influence To Influence is to change To change is to live. ~ Jane Evershed ~ Why did I pick a Celtic Dragon versus the Eastern version? I will plead the case for the Western dragon, a strong and intelligent creature. Imho the Western dragon was never allowed to live in peace or given the respect that the Eastern Dragons received, thus society created the monster. Amazing the difference a little understanding and respect can make.
