  1. Virtue is...

Virtue is a poor translation of Te and is being discussed here by a fluke of language. If Te were better translated we would not be discussing virtue but patterns in nature. The virtue of a real person, they who live Tao without knowing it, is no deliberate virtue. Throw all your virtue away and act correctly, when you live correctly then that is your true virtue. Acting in a certain way by convention or such may help and hinder. True virtue will adjust to the need of the situation and shall thereby have no fixed name
  2. nice to flow by

New hiya, i hope to meet some interesting people here. I did not find a good Tao forum until now so I hope i have some nice interesting chats here. See you soon..
  3. What exactly is Enlightment

Lau Tzu never spoke of enlightenment. Chuang Tzu spoke of the "real person". Both would say that to have life lived through you as you sit passively in wonder would be "The Way". Only when the Buddhists came to China from India with Buddhism did we get this situation where a Taoist could ask "what is Enlightenment?". To unite solid and spirit as one, mind is matter, matter is mind. Knock Knock, Diiiiing! No duality, no question, no explanation. Just a love and deep sense of awe and wonder for every aspect of the whole, that is IS and you are that, shut up, enjoy. It Is wonderful.
