  8. Another One On MASTERS And MONEY

Paying for $300 a transmission? You mean those in China nowadays in Long Fu Shan? They do charge a fee of $300 USD just to bring you the first transmission and you still need to pay and fly back to China though. In my lineage, I do charge a small fee of donations of 90$cdn only. I do think this is very reasonable to all the people who want to learn. If the student expect free lunch, I have no idea why they are going to get this treasurable knowledge with love from your master - me. The master have to teach you the knowledge, the way to train, guidiance of life, help you to solve obstacles in life, give you advice and look after you all the time, is that something you must pay for at least to show your master some respect? If you say money do not equals respect, but yet if your master require you to do a donation and you refuse for just this little reason, that is not respectful to the master already. You can kindly say, I canont make it and then the master will give you some other options maybe. But by searching for the Tao in this attitude will lead you to nothing, I mean nothing for your life. You may think the taoism is just DDJ or maybe something very general, but in my lineage, Taoism is far beyong you can imagine and think. It's just like how the west first look at dim sum and say.. yuk! what is that! But now they all love it. Because they finally tasted it and find it delicious. Before, they only have The Woks and something like CHap Shui food, they considered to be garbage food by the Chinese really. But you think that is Chinese food already. How naive? Are you question a CHINESE OFFICAL MASTER for the lineage and teachers with your WESTERNER KNOWLEDGE about CHINESE ART? You must be an expert. But you are not. Just lots to learn...! Mak Tin Si
  9. Cycle of YIN and YANG in a day

Yes, kidney can be strengthen with my lineage's basic practise. It can also be done by using FU or herbs. Depend on your need and how you want to strengthen the kidney. For example if you got bald because of your kidney's weakness, you need to use FU to help you plus the training or else it takes longer time to heal. The periods above are also good to know about how you can keep the kidney in good shape. This you can just follow the Taoism sleep hours, sleep around 10-11, wake up 4-5am. With proper training, you will gain more energy in the kidney which give you more energy for the day. Also, less sex will help alot too for the kidney to give birth to your "jing". You can also try eating some black beans or drinking black beans soya milk.
  10. The big thankyou offerings -SAAM SUNG

Hi Dao Zhen, Great experience you shared! In the five main precepts you have got, yeh you are pretty lucky. Most high level masters in your lineage do have LOTS of rules. That include the LaoZi 27 precepts for the base, then they start to have 108, 300, 1000... Holy cow lots of rules, but that they do it naturally of course. By what I mean to rules is just something you do not do as a Taoist, but you gain that naturally anyway. I have remembered one time I was teaching my student, I said, you will not be eating beef soon, go eat more. She was yelling at me and screaming for complains. So I gave the transmission and attunement to her and said "don't worry, eat eat eat, eat more now". Guess what happen after 2-3weeks? The student came back to me saying, I never eat beef anymore. The student told me that she love eating beef before, but now, after that day of transmission, she never does. She felt the energy passing on to her that day, and as she did the practise for 49days, she just changed alot. Naturally. Now, she have tried eating beef, it makes her stomache sick, and want to vomit! Then one time, she said "no beef please" to the chef, the chef put just abit of beef in the rice, which she don't expect. Then just a sec after she ate it, she felt dizzy. spinning, and then stomach ache for 1 week! Now she do not eat beef, totally trusted about it. haha! Eating beef or not is really naturally inherited by transmission. If you did go through the lineage that teach you the taoism magic and internal arts, you will just change alot after the attunement. Cool. From your writtings, your Teacher seems to be very nice and powerful too! Yet, you did have to put a whole lot of effort to reach him, but that is worth it! I wish you all the best in the training! It doen't matter if he comes back or not, he already did what he is suppose to do for you. You did gained alot. That is also how most of the immortals teach you. They teach you something and leave. So you learn on your own, see how long can you keep it. Then someday, you will get a chance to meet them again, they pass on something to you and leave again. Very seriously done, but your master do care about you alot. When I learn from my master in China, he do not even see us, he just send you something and you can open the altar and communicate with him in your altar and trianings, no telephone, no internet, no nothing. Just pure practise of communicating spiritually by the magic power, which I was introduced how this taoism magic was passed in the old days way before Han dynasty. Very special and mythical. 11. The big thankyou offerings -SAAM SUNG

Hi Dao Zheng, Same to you too! I know in Quan Zhen branch they do not emphasize on FU much so they do not do much things with the FA 法 trianings. Just like in Wu Dang, they promote more about training like internal arts for 性命雙修. They also have very strict rules (戒律). Which set of rules did you get from your master? Mak Tin Si
  12. A humble request for the board....

In the study of Taoism or even Chinese culture, we have a saying called "someone who ran 100 steps is laughing at the person who ran 50 steps. " In the army, a solider ran away because he is scared to fight, this solider ran and ran.. 100 steps back. The other soldier ran too, and he ran 50 steps back. Laughing at this soldier who ran 100steps, saying :" haha! you are a whip, you ran 100steps! I only ran 50 steps!" What is the different? Both of them are whip too, because both did escape from fear! They are both the same. So this story teach us, when you are laughing at others or commenting on others, you should look at what you are doing first before judging. Are you the same in other way? A valuable lesson taught in the Chinese phillosophy.

  16. Importance of the Red Pocket

I can try to give some intro to color energy sometimes later, but this post is mainly about REEEDDD pockets. haha! There are yellow "red" pockets nowadays, good to use for FU, but not much good for money.
  17. The big thankyou offerings -SAAM SUNG

Hi Dao Zhen, Nice meeting you too. I am not from the Zheng Yi branch but my lineage do have a linkage with the Zheng Yi branch indeed. For the Zheng Yi of Lung Fu Shan nowadays, they are going very crazy and far away from the traditional system, That is why you see people killing chickens for doing any crazy stuff. This is not something in the Taoism system traditionally, it was added on later when people start to see too much horror movies in China. Crazy people. There is a rule call no killing, how can you kill a chicken? The offerings for the altar with the 3 animals are there for most lineage, it was used for mostly Zheng Yi branches as you have said because they do eat meat and they are not required to go on veggie for their whole life, so this is okay for them to put offerings of chick, fish, pork, duck on the altar. For Quan Zhen branch you study, it is REQUIRED for people to go CHU JIA (out of family) and go on veggie when you go into the lineage. That is why you never see much meat on the altar. Becaues the taoist cannot eat them after the ceremonies anyway. So they put fruits. The reason and benefits of putting cooked meats on the altar is also because of the fire energy from cooking can be absorbed from the altar to boost the energy up. Which is called WONG TAAN 旺壇 for the temple. This method was invented by the taoist too and you can use it for ONLY worshipping masters and gods who are okay with meat. For god like GuanYin, you cannot use this method because she is a total veggie god. So for that we give fruits instead and water for purity. Nice meeting you! You really did a great job on the other post about wudang too! nice to have someone with traditional knowledge here to keep people on the right track! I cannot take total veggie myself for my whole life, haha! That is not a choice for me. For the lineage I practise, they only require you to go on veggie on 1st and 15th plus some special dates on the list so that you can pay respect to the masters and also achieve better attunement from the trainings. So we veggie for a purpose on the special days. I know you guys do go on veggie like nothing, but I cannot do it myself, haha! I still enjoy eating meat, but NO BEEF for sure. It is restricted and also banned by the religion. So if you are in ANY taoism branch, if you eat beef, you loose everything you have in the trianing. If you break again, you get kicked out of the lineage too. Very strict rule. Of course most people do not know this because the practise of FA 法 is rarely opened to the public in the west. But it is very special and cool. Fuk Sung Mo Leung Tin Juen 福生無量天尊 Mak Tin Si
  18. Cycle of YIN and YANG in a day

Yes, this system is used for EVERYTHING in the chinese culture, including fortune telling, fungshui, medics, taoism, magic, etc,... anything.
  19. Cycle of YIN and YANG in a day

We taoist do suggest practitioners to sleep at 10pm and wake up at 4-5am. This is because you would want to avoid the YIN energy and absorb the MOST YANG energy into your body which empower your body and aura naturally. This is also a way to live healthier. Great for anybody!

  23. reversed sleep pattern over long periods

By reversing sleep pattern also means you absorb the YIn energy instead of the YANg which means you as a YANG PERSON do not have enough YANG QI in your body which lead to weakness and tiredness. That also means you are shortening your life span too.
  24. Wudang Taoism

Great post DaoZhen. I enjoyed your post here which clears out to the public here about the real taoism in wudang. Very nicely posted! All the best to you and your lineage, Fuk Sung Mo Leung Tin Juen Mak Tin Si
  25. Another One On MASTERS And MONEY

Of course. If not, how can the teacher run the school? How can they teach more people? I suggest lets look at those so called "charity", like WWF and stuff, they have TONS of money from the donations that are used for paying their workers and admin people, also advertiising, promotion, etc,. What do you think about that ? Where is all those money that made them grow? if they do not grow big, how can they help more people? How can people know about them? It is a cycle. To be understanding is important. We must understand the reason before we comment. I used to look down on the charities before for taking so much from the donations you made to the admin. But on the other side, that is how they can get people to work for the charity and keep it running. Why don't we understand them and their system before commenting? Exorbitant fee really depends on how you feel about the importance of one thing. If you say $100 is too much for a life time learning, I really think you cannot even shop in the supermarket for food. But if you think $100,000 is too much, that is reasonable complain.
