I must say i detest getting haircuts - in fact i don't remember the last time i went to a barber. Once in a while mYTHISmAKER trims / evens up the back. After she does this i feel a little diminished like I or my aura has shrunk. It takes a few days to get back to feeling expansive.

In the realm of images there was a time when one could only see themselves reflected in water - poor average commoners rich people might have acquired a mirror - shiny metal. At some point we all could see images - we all had mirrors Without mirrors or devices for reflection we are unable to see what we look like. Try to see yourself without a reflecting device - the headless horseman. We take mirrors for granted. As an aside A long time ago I met a french professor at the foot (no pun intended) of the Parthenon. He was barefoot. He told me about snakes and shoes. The Indians did not have problems with snakes as they wore leather moccasins - the snakes would feel the Indians coming through vibration and move away. When one wears rubber soled shoes it insulates - no vibrations felt - the snake is surprised and she bites you. Sounds good, however I have no idea whether this is true as I haven't experimented with this.

I was referring to no longer thinking about something in the same way - having a new take on it - it no longer being valid for me. It was not insulting anyone - if you noticed i don't do that. I would like to know specifically who and how many changed the rules.

By instituting rigidity The Tao Bums has lost The Way; it no longer follows Taoist principles. We have all learned by now the one constant in the universe is change ( change is not imposing rigid rules), my thoughts change, my ideas change - they develop - sometime I wish I hadn't said something. Like it or not we are always editing, learning, growing, evolving into our selves.
