Relaxing feeling the weight of the elbows would relax his shoulders and neck. Elbows are key in relaxing and dropping shoulders. But hey what do i know -

Imho your back is excellent. In the lower stance you have too much stress on your knees as they project forward. But what do I know Thanks for the video. -

Even if you can DON"T Do you speak from experience.Do YOU stand with your knees beyond your toes? or are you theorizing again. Many taiji players have bad knees for this very reason. -

You will ruin your knees if you stand with knees beyond the toes. You are giving out harmful dangerous information. -
Most everyone has difficulties, some realize they do and some don't. The important thing is to practice, practice,practice. Do the form 2 - 3 times a day or more if you have time. Also observe your teachers movements very carefully and ask a question where you think you are having difficulty.

There are varying degrees of song within Taiji, Bagua - xingi, akido If one were 100% song they would be limp. Song allows one to sink and move from intention - not muscle

My guess would be that song would be the same for all of the internal styles and would include the hard styles at higher levels One style wouldn't have relaxed shoulders and another style relaxed arms. Look for holding and let it go. Song equals power and speed
