I find it interesting that most everyone claims the founder - for lack of a better word- of the philosophy or religion they ascribe has reached a higher state than all the others or their way is the only way or the best. These are no more than judgments and speculations. What if the path we've invested our hopes in is not the correct one - oh oh! There are many paths - many great beings - many we have never even heard of. Higher? Lower? this is nonsense and driven by ego. If you are more evolved than I am I have no way of knowing how evolved you are but you are able to see how far I've come. You can see your teacher is more evolved than you are but you have no idea of what he has achieved compared to how much one is capable of achieving. So none of us are in a position to know which great being is top dog. But what do I know

I was taught to take care of things right away. Otherwise they build in your mind and become monumental and can be overwhelming. So when something needs to be done I just do it and it's gone. Laziness or inertia come from the mind

I'm sure I have my share of delusions. However, since I am deluded I have no idea what they are. Once I realize a delusion I no longer have that particular delusion.

No one knows where they will end up. So you're no different than anyone else. Just do your practice don't look forward - don't look back. There is really no way for us to measure where we are. Being in the present and being present is the path and the goal. Ever read Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse?

That's fair - not to help the world for the sake of a few. -

Your words and thoughts - not mine I don't believe anyone deserves or doesn't deserve. No one dies before their time. Some may die young but it is their time. -

So watcha gonna do if you find yourself in the situation where the end is near or here. The same age old question - you know you have only so much time to live due to age or disease. What do you do with the time you have left. Where is your focus. Another question. Why is your family more important than another's. At some point you will no longer be here. Does it really matter if your genes - a part of you- lives on. We all live on as we are all connected through the same gene pool. We all have the same consciousness - the same mother/father. For Li Jong If it takes 45 years to finish your cultivation in your belief system. Do you spend any time worrying that you might get hit by a car or fall of a mountain. Enlightenment- being one with the tao happens in a split second and can happen any time. -

Oolong organic will do. I'll skip the shrimp. Can you BBQ veggies? -
No problem in the US. One avoids junk or fast food by not eating it. So a good plan would be to put some low grade gasoline or a bit of sand in your car to make it work better
