  2. a mantra to transform food into chi better?

Place your hands palms down over the food. With intention send chi Silently I honor this food which is god * I thank everyone who had anything to do with bringing this food to this table. I thank this food which is god, healing and nourishing my body which is god * you may substitute life force, creation etc for god- whatever you believe ** note it doesn't work using jesus
  3. Daoist no grain diet

I guess I can't join the taoist church
  4. Wang Liping in Denmark

Ever wonder why someone says x is the savior of the world and someone else says y is and I'm positive z is. As far as i can tell none of these saviors have been doing a very good job. Why do we like to give away our power. Why don't we take responsibility for our actions instead of putting it off on someone else. Please don't quote some book that was written by someone pushing their agenda. If jesus was able to turn water into wine, as the good book says, why on earth would he need money to sustain his life style.
  5. Who is /are Max's Egyptian teachers?

    Harry Potter
  6. the warrior diet

Ok Guys there is nothing wrong with fructose as part of a whole fruit, it is bad bad bad when separated out and used as a sweetener. I eat 2 meals a day - first one about 2pm second one any where from 6:30 to 7:30. I drink water when I wake up. I used to think I had to eat every few hours to keep my blood sugar up. If you are eating properly that is not necessary I mainly eat fruit and vegetables. Maybe some grain once a week. Breakfast - brunch = blended green salad followed by fruit salad and nuts Dinner = large salad + steamed vegetables.
  7. Haiku Chain

Let the game go on Ha! It died a while ago The constant is change.
  8. Choosing a Practise

40 years with the exception of the occasional bug in my lettuce. LOL You have to make sure you have a proper diet. You were doing something wrong. Blood tests can tell what is lacking. Your body will adjust weight to fit your frame properly. Vegetarians eating properly will usually weigh less than a flesh eater. I am 5' 10 1/2 and weigh 150 - 152 pounds If you are in england - I have a hunch you might be - you might check out Dr Keki Sidhwa - google Otherwise Dr Joel Fuhrman - has a web site with a lot of information.
  9. Choosing a Practise

Relax let go of tensions and you won't be cold and you can be a vegetarian. How many of us walk - walked around in the winter shoulders hunched up tense against the cold. One day we let our shoulders go and we are no longer cold. I am warmer and have better circulation as a vegetarian than I did when I ate dead bodies. Relax let go
  10. Goodbye Tao Bums

    Wishing you eternal spring
  11. I am back

Is this truly a wuji posture with palms facing back. I was taught to relax arms so hands fall naturally to side. Palms facing back activates movement. This posture is fine as a standing posture except I don't believe it should be called wuji. Before taiji, we stand arms relaxed wuji. We turn our palms facing back- we initiate movement taiji.
  12. Dimensions

Thanks No idea. I can't specifically link it to anything. I did start the body part of Hsin Tao i saw Amma last week - no hug I do Dhao Zhen's meditation. I stand wuji i am learning a Chen taiji form and xingyi I play wu taiji I always allow, I never direct chi The only place I focus is on my tan tien Many years ago I used to focus on my third eye I did travel through the tunnel Even if I thought I knew and told, it would not necessarilly work for anyone else, or for me for that matter again. We are all different at different places - stages on our path.
  13. Dimensions

Late this afternoon I was dozing on my couch with mYTHISmAKER I started looking at her leg and I saw a translucent pattern in/on her skin. It looked sort of like a lace pattern or a lattice work. The color was in the lavender family. In the openings between the swirls were pin points of flashing chartreuse light - three to each open space. I looked away and I saw a pattern forming in a painting a few feet away. When I looked at her leg again I could bring back the pattern. Wonder what dimension that was.
  14. Dimensions

I just broke out of Flatland

  18. Sports medicine Doctor

Intermittent pain in the leg. Feels like a nerve. Moves around - sometimes top of thigh - sometimes hip. Happens from shifting weight to on leg. Could be a pinched nerve in the spine.
  19. what is Hsing-I?

Never think of yourself as being stupid. Feel free to ask your teacher anything. You cannot be stupid you are a beginner. Good teachers are happy when students ask questions. But not too many LOL
  20. what is Hsing-I?

You gotta be kidding. I just don't understand Why are you asking people you don't know who might give you wrong information when you have a teacher. Did it ever occur to you to ask your teacher
  21. Dark Night of the Soul

Well maybe Aristotle said it, I heard it from Tiny Tim. Do you think that's why miss Vicki dumped him. I doubt either one on them meant it in this context. LOL
  22. Dark Night of the Soul

You hit the nail on the head. Simple chemistry. I was psychotic at one point and luckily I found someone who showed me how how to eat. I was better in a month. That's why I know from my experience it would be a much better, happier world if people ate properly. I know people suffering and they won't listen so i have to let them be. Tiny Tim is my hero " You are what you eat"
  23. I love taijiquan

I used to do my wu form both sides. i did this to work not only on my use of both arms and legs but to rewire my mind I am now learning a Chen form which uses both arms both legs for punching , kicking. It appears, I am a beginner, to be a more ambidextrous, balanced form.
